HI All! I'm trying to create a formula but am stuck. A $100 product minus 5%.That total minus 25%.That full total minus $25.For an end total of $46.25Here's what I have as a formula, but it's just not working out! I can't tell if it's the parenthesis or the actual 25%.((({Product}-({Product}*.05))-(25%))-{COGS}) Any help is appreciated!  Thanks

I am sorting alphabetically the Primary Field which is a Single line text. It does not work. I have some data for this Primary Field that are duplicates and when I sort it, it should be right next to each other but it’s not. How can I fix this?

HELP! I am new to Airtable. I signed up... chose the lemonade stand template as a starting point, and set about my first base!   Task 1 was getting about 300 rows into the inventory table. My intent is to use this to build shopping lists for my deli. I have maybe 8 suppliers... added a column called "Category" to allow me to sort by things like Produce, Deli Meats, Beverages, etc.... Finally figured out how to import the data. Cleaned it up... and added all the categories.. Now the fun begins. I opened the app on my IPad and go to the inventory table and I see "Main View" and "Low Supply" as Views I can choose to look at the data on the ipad. I go back to the web interface, duplicate the Main View into a new view called "Shopping List" and a second called "Order List". Both of these have several filters and groupings. I also added one final column to the Inventory table called "Order" as a Yes / No check box. The workflow should look like open "SHopping List" on the

I would like to automate posts to Twitter so that they send out both when “Ready to Publish” (status field) and at a specific date and time (date field with time). I note that in the triggers, it allows for date but the most specific it gets is “today” and does not include the specific time. Will it still post at the correct time if the automation is running or is this not possible in Airtable yet?

When I’m searching for an existing record with a linked field, the search field only searches the primary field (in my case it is an autonumber). Is there any way to search across other fields as well? For example I have another field that is a text field and contains the name of the request.

Hello community When you are creating a new record using a form, you can search for other records to be linked to the one you are creating (if you have a linked field). I have been reading the different previous posts and I understood we can only search by the primary field. So, in our company, we set up all primary fields as a concatenation of different data, let’s say “Location - Name”. In the search bar to identify the right record If I type Location A, I got all the results with Location A - working fine If I type Name A, I got all the results with Name A - working fine But if I type Location A and Name A, no more result at all Is there a way to search for several words or just letters in the search bar? Hi all! I need users to be able to re-relate records between two tables (for which I built a nice interface). What’s the best approach to make the re-linking as easy for humans as possible? I recently switched out all my primary fields to be the UID instead of something human-readable but non-unique because the hunan readable format was non-unique and led to duplicates. So I was thinking the best would be to be able to filter the “link-to” dropdown via a different field than the primary field, but that doesn’t seem to be possible. Suggestions?

I have a field of long text, and I set an automation that could help me send a notification Email to my collaborators after I update that field. However, the trigger would be fired several times, when I was still typing(no matter using when the record updated or when record matches conditions)Is there any way to make the trigger only be fired after I finish typing? Hello folks! I am trying to run updates to a table with a CSV file but I’m not seeing the option to merge records, only import them. I tried this on a few different tables and am still not seeing it. Anyone else? Troubleshooting ideas? Thanks!

I am looking for a way to import data from a CSV file but match on more than just one field. The CSV Import App appears to be limited in allowing matching to occur only on one field. Is there an alternative solution to importing data and matching on multiple fields? My use case is I am importing people who have purchased tickets at a recent event but I know some of the people are already present in the base. I would like to match on Full Name, email address, and Street Address 1 to avoid duplication of existing records while also preventing inappropriate overwriting of data. Thanks!

I’m trying to create a custom block, but when I run: block run I get: Error: listen EACCES: permission denied 0.0.0.0:9001 I’ve checked and there’s a system task already listening to this port, so I’m not able to just kill it. Is there a way to change the listening port so that I can make this work?

I am creating an asset register with the current values of assets. Hi all,I have read up that Airtable inserts double quotes if there are commas in the contents of the array, and I have seen reference to removing them by using either Substitute or Regex_Replace, but I have an IF statement and no idea how/where to put either to make it work (I'm new to formulas and they are def not my strong suit!)This is my formula:  IF({Inspection}=BLANK(),{Art}&" ("&{Condition}&")", {Art}&" ("&{Condition}&" "&DATETIME_FORMAT({Inspection},'YYYY-MM-DD')&")") Which gets me: "A11.05/003a Joanna Staniszkis (Artist), Marta W. I'm trying to use the datetime_diff formula to configure a field similar to the ootb duration field in Smartsheet, but in Airtable.I have a start-date and and end-date field. My goal is to have a duration field show the number of days between the start and the end dates.Here are my constraints. 1) I want to be able to show only weekdays. 2) If the start date and the end date are the same I want the duration to equal 1, not 0.Any suggestions?

Hi all !I've a concatenation formula wich works fine with all number but the 7%...That's crazy.... When I put 7% somewhere my formula return 7.0000000000001%... My fields are all in percent (precision 1%) but the concatenation field is in text format.There's nothing in my formula about the number 7 or else that could launch this error...Any idea ? >Thanks !

Otherwise, "Set" format will be number.I have tried this formula, but I am getting an error message saying "circular reference". Can anyone help me with this?Thank you

So I found a formula someone else made that does exactly what I need it to do.  I need to display the dates of certain events as "week of" so I can group the event by the week and see how many posts are made during the week.  The problem with the formula is it makes the "week of" appear as Apr 3, 2023, when I need it to say 04/03/2023.  The formula is:  DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD(Date,1-DATETIME_FORMAT(Date,'E'),'day'),'ll') Can someone help me out?  Thanks! (Field on the left is the date of event, field on right is the "week" formula)
