I have a table called “Plans” that pulls in lookup values from my “Contracts” table, which is linked. I’ve been able to add the standard fields from Plans to a Page Creator page without an issue. However, when I try to add a lookup field from Plans, it doesn’t work. I can drag the field to the Page Creator, but the box never gets populated. Similarly, If I try placing a linked field on the page, it appears as a black box with its original field name from the Contracts base. See screen shot below. Any suggestions for getting the linked/lookup fields to work in Page Creator?

I have a formula that is achieving 2/3 of my goals, but I need some help figuring out that last 1/3! I am trying to add an "SOS" flag to any to-do that meets one or more of the following criteria:Has been manually flagged as "Behind" in the Alerts column.Has not been given a Due Date (so the Due Date field is blank).Has a Due Date that has passed AND it has NOT yet been marked as "Done."How would I structure that final part of the formula? Currently, I have: IF(     OR(          Alerts = "Behind",          {Due In} < 1     ),          "🆘",          "")I am trying to get the "Post job description on social media" task to be flagged, since it is overdue and not marked as done.Thank you so much!   

Seeking to identify if two numbers match exactly in both fields, such as 22 matching 22, and not partial matches like 2.  

I would like to separate a look up field (values separated by commas) into separate cells. I have information from Table 1 linked to Table 2 (Junction Table) that is linked to Table 3. Table 3 has a look up field (puling information form Table 1 to Table 2 into Table 3). The values in the look up field are separated by commas. (I am having a problems applying formulas to the look up field). Is it possible to separate these values into separate fields?

I just found out that both SET_LOCALE and SET_TIMEZONE functions returns an incorrect hour, at least for Europe/Lisbon and en-gb as per the below examples:SET_TIMEZONE(NOW(), 'Europe/Lisbon')SET_LOCALE(NOW(), 'en-gb')Both these functions as returning 1 hour less than the correct one.

Simple thing I'd like to do: Display the current date (and possibly time) on an Interface screen (blank template).  I created a field in the base that shows the date, but there's no way to display a single field.  I looked at the text object but there's no way to enter a formula in that object.Anyone accomplish this before?  TIA!

Context Unable to create an automation in Airtable. The path is as follows: An update in the "Sleep" field of Table1 triggers a search for records in Table2 that share a common field (using the "Name" field as the link). The automation then uses a script to update the corresponding records in Table2 with the updated "Sleep" content from Table1 into the Table2 fields, that have the same name, "NewSleep."Automation Path Image Below:My script is producing an error "'recordtoUpdate' is declared but its value is never read.(6133)." I have a base with two tabs:post IDcontent IDFor each post i can select a content: via link to another record (content ID tab)What I can't manage to get done is the following:I want to go to the Post tab and select "published" next to an post ID & it's according content (from content ID tab) and this information should then also automatically appear in my other tab: content ID.At the moment I found a solution but it adds an extra step. I have connected the two tabs via link to another record but I have to select the post first to get the "published" information transferred. Is there a solution to get it automatically?I would like to add new information to the content (select: published) in the post ID tab, also updating this information for the content used in the post, therefore this change should also be visible in the content ID tab.Anyone here has a solution for this issue?Thanks a lot 🙏

Hello guys!I’m creating a platform for freelance recruiters from all over the world. To help with registration, I created a form and I’m quite happy with it. Also, I would like to have all the registered users in one place in Airtable. I now need this form to be available in different languages: French, German, English, Italian, and so on. My concern is mainly with dropdown fields. How would you proceed? 

I have two Date fields. I need a third field that simply displays the date in the first field unless it's blank, then displays the date in the second field. Here is the formula I'm using: IF({Dev End} = '', {Deadline}, {Dev End}) The formatting options for both Date fields and the Formula field are the same:I'm having two problems. First, the output date in this new Formula field is coming back one day before where it should be. I assume I could just add a day to the result within the formula, but I'm not sure why this happens in the first place. I suspect they have to do with the Time Zone. If I display the time zone, I see GMT, but I can't seem to select my time zone (EDT) unless I also display the time. I'm not interested in the time.The second problem is that I'm not able to use the Formula field as the end date in a Gantt view. Sorry if something similar has been posted already - I'm hoping to figure out an automation where when a record on one lable is labled (via checked checkbox) as a primary contact, that record links to the "primary contact" linked record field on a different table. In a perfect world, this could coincide with an automation where if the primary contact changes (a record is unchecked), that record is unlinked, and replaced with the new record.Or - is this possible to do with conditional formatting at all? Hi, i have a formula field named "Jenis Parts Regex" where its value is "15.9mm Karet stabil FR RH/LH ES1|05".I want to extract anything that matches "end_of_name" field, in this case "ES1|05", and the result shall be in "regex replace" field.But what i got there is "15.9mm Karet stabil FR RH/LH |". Hey all - I'm running a formula column with a lot of IFs in there. Only 1 out of the 6 possible responses returns a text field, the rest are date fields.The dates come out in a very ugly way, this is how it looks: 2023-07-12T23:06:37.000ZIt basically makes it impossible for me to use / property view.After some playing around with it, I've understood that the issue here is with the fact that one of the values returned is a text field.However, the way I have the formula and the intended use. Unfortunately, I can't do anything else but have a text in one of the IF's (since it's the if true, not false, that I could just leave empty).I've tried using the time parse formula like this: DATETIME_PARSE(the if formula), but the result is an error.How do I make this work?

The Airtable product team track record continues to baffle...I suddenly got the new record details layout experience, and although a bit surprised after having no mention of it in the What's New July 2023 edition that went out barely a week earlier, I was initially excited. The redesign is clearly inline with the record detail view on mobile devices (hinting at mobile interfaces coming soon??)...That is until I realized that it completely broke the ability to change edit permissions on linked record fields where the records are one-way synced from another base. As in, if you had fields that were set to editable before this update, they are stuck on being editable, and if you have non-editable ones or try to add new ones, they are stuck on being non-editable.If you hover over the "Allow users to link/unlink existing records" switch you see this message: "Users can't link/unlink existing records because this table is synced from an external source."To clarify: This started with

I am currently trying to extract information from an inconsistent string of text and having a tough time.Ideally, I would be able to drop the MONTH and DATE from the String of text and KEEP the all the text along with just theYEAR. The trouble is, both the intro text (represented as X's) and the dates are not consistent lengths. EXAMPLES OF TEXT:  DESIRED OUTPUT: XXXXX.RTW.Men.7.5.2023XXXXX.RTW.Men.2023XXX.RTW.Women.12.10.2022XXX.RTW.Women.2022XXXX.RTW.11.6.2022XXXX.RTW.2022Is there a formula that can do this? I run a volunteer program where we reward our volunteers with comp tickets to our events.   We currently use a points based tracking system where they get 10 points for every hour volunteered.   I was wondering if there was a way to create something in Airtable that would help us keep track of how many points our volunteers have earned  and redeemed.    So whatever would be created I would need a way to add points and subtract points with ease. We allow our volunteers to bank their points to redeem and "upgrade" their tickets to better seats on the following scale:Tier 3- 40 PointsTier 2- 80 PointsTier 1- 120 PointsPremium- 160 PointsIt would be a bonus if the same base would allow them to request their redemption.

Hello, I'm trying to formulate a triggered response, based off the fields value.For invoicing, I want it to send out an email if the record's field value is "Invoiced". I currently have 3 options for this field: Not Invoiced, Paid & Invoiced. IF the operator selects "Invoice" from the drop down of that record - it should automatically send an email to that contact. I have a field in that record as "Billing Contact" and it links to the customers DB table. I also have the PDF attached to this record as an extension for the customer to see once emailed. Any way I'm able to go about formulating a triggered response in automations?Thanks

Hi! Maybe someone over here can point me in the right direction. I am trying to build a custom extension, but the moment I add the extension airtable.com becomes “not secured” causing CORS issues with my extension. At the beginning I thought it might be my code, but I tried it with the “Hello World” extension and the same issue, the moment I add the localhost connection the site switched from secure to not secured Any ideas what I might be doing wrong or what else I could test? This is happening with Chrome, haven’t tested yet with other browsers. Thanks in advance

Hello everyone,I would like to run an automation to keep track of the previous values of a cell so that I can see how inventory is being withdrawn from the database and have a correct running tally of inventory items.Currently my airtable is set up like this.The quantity removed field is constantly updated as product is removed. I would like to have the sum or some record of all the values ever written into this field in the previously removed field. I have tried formulas but I keep running into circular references. Therefore I am trying to create an automation which will add the new the new value entered to the quantity removed field to the previously removed field value.For example: on the first day Quantity removed is entered from softr and now has the value 15 for a particular product. Therefore previously removed should be 15. On the second day another entry is made to the Quantity removed (value 20). Now the previously removed value should be 35.This must all happen to the s

The automation needs to look a single select field and based on what it is set to update another single select field.The automation works when the trigger is update or create, but the time interval trigger is eluding me.The automation is set to run every 15 minutes, and it looks for specific records. Hello all, I'm working with formulas, but got stuck on something. What I'm trying to accomplish here is simple, but not sure how to formulate it. I have a linking record for an invoice for NET Terms: NET15, 30 etc. I have the formula set up, but I want that converted into a date format rather than what I have.  IF({TERM}="NET15", "15 Days from 'Due Date'", IF( {TERM}="NET30", "30 days from 'Due Date'" ) )  Simple, but this is the output:Pretty simple, however I was testing the formula, and for invoice structure - I wanted a date format approach. So If NET15, then have the "Due Date" 15 days BASED off of the "Date" field. I don't know how I'd structure that, but that's the primary goal. Instead of showcasing "15 days from 'Due Date'", I'd rather it show a date format. EX: Date: 7/9/2023 Due Date: 7/24/2023 TERM: NET15Any advice would be helpful! Thanks.
