I'm creating an inventory checkout database, based on a sandbox version created by another community member, and am trying to figure out a formula to indicate if items are overdue. Our default check-out time is one business day, and I've managed to create a formula that auto-populates the default due date, and a formula (below) that will indicate if an item is overdue, past that default dateIF(AND({Type}="Checking Out",IS_AFTER(TODAY(),{Due Date})),'OVERDUE') BUT the issue I'm encountering is that sometimes, we extend checkouts in special circumstances. I've created an "Extended Due Date" field, so that staff can manually create an extended due date if needed. However, I'd now like to figure out a formula for this Overdue field that would tell Airtable to first check the Extended Due Date field, and use that if it's populated, and then, if that field is empty, check the Due Date field. How would I do this? Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone,I have a temporary accommodation that people apply to.All of my applicants are stored on my Airtable in tab #1 (Applications) once they apply with form #1, which I use as my CRM.Once an applicant is accepted, I send this person form #2 asking for the exact move in/out dates and other valuable information using another form.Currently, I'm using tab #2 (Residents) within the same base to store that info and I'm wondering whether:there's a way to put all of the info from form #2 into the existing row that was created with row #1 orI should use another alternative, such as using a List view to combine both of these areasThank you very much for your help!Cheers,Marc from Barcelona

Hello all!I am currently trying to make an automation that inputs the date into a cell of the time that is updated. Right now I can only see two options - static and dynamic. The first does not work since the input will not change with every update, and the second can only be based off of different cells. Is there an option I'm missing?Thanks!

Hello! I wrote a script that creates multiple days worth of events people can book at a time, but it takes into account some settings to determine how long those slots are, when the lunch break is so it wont create a slot then, etc. I'm also making an automation to create a new day's worth of these every day at midnight, so that after we run the manual script once we can leave the rest of it to happen automatically. I'm wondering if there's any way I could grab the settings from the manual script for use in the automation. 

Hello Everybody,  I need some help with formula, so here is what I have, I have a "Multiple Select" field, lets say I have options like these there: Option A, Option B and Option C. Every option has its own price, let's say Option A is $10, Option B is $20 and Option C is $30. I have another field "Price", which is currently set up for "currency" and I manually enter the total there every time. So I want to use a formula to have a total sum of the options that I choose in Multiple Select Filed, any ideas? Thank you in advance

I use the script below to retrieve the latest date from all records in table 'personal expenses', and want to insert this value to all records in table 'personal budget' (this table is in the same base).The script works if I update the records in the same table 'personal expenses', but not when updating the other table 'personal budget'. Howdy AT Community! Hoping a kind soul can provide some assistance with an automation query. I'm trying to track subscription activations for a University cohort, pulling from a large Uni Cohorts table to update a specific cohort tracker table.  Desired automation flow is as follows:Student submits subscription activation request form > record is auto populated in main Uni cohorts table (first name, last name, email, Uni name) > record 'Status' field is set to 'activated' if approved in main table > student record status field is updated/reflected in cohort activation tracker tableThe list of student names and emails is already populated in the tracker table, purely need to track them in for external onboarding reporting purposes. Struggling to get the update record automation to work between the two tables (unless there's a formula trick I'm missing?)Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Now I would simply like to aggregate the value for each client. The only way I found is the "group" feature, however this appears to me as just being a visual filter. In any case I need both the individual table as well as the grouped overview.Also I found that I can link records to each other but the actual grouping column is a formula. As soon as I select it as lookup, that is breaking the formula.How can I possibly achieve that?Kind regards,Marcel

I think I'm really close to figuring this out.  Here's the ideal  scenario:My accounting department hits a "Reminder" button on their interface which triggers an automation to send my Project Managers a reminder email to approve their invoices.  The email contains a grid of that specific project manager's open invoices.My current situation:- My interface button works great.  Best button ever.- My "repeating group" action is where i'm getting twisted up.  I've got a "repeat for every one in the project managers" list going. I've got a "Find Records" action that finds ALL the invoices where the "PM Approved" field is not checked. I want to send Project Manager 'A', a grid of ONLY his invoices that haven't been approved yet.  How do I add a condition in the "Find Records" action that find records for the next project manager on the list?   Edit:  I think I understand now.  The "list" can only be generated from a multiple sel

Making this note incase anyone else runs into this issue.As is listed on the Airtable website, there is a limit of 50 interfaces per base and 50 pages per interface. However, what is not made clear is what constitutes a "page". One might be mistaken to believe (understandably as I did) that "page" would be a "page" as is listed when you go to EDIT > "add page". (*sarcasm intended here)However, when in one interface I had 22 pages, my "add page" option suddenly greyed out. (see attached screenshot for reference). I tried to work with Airtable support on why this was happening, but they didn't seem to understand the issue and kept giving advice about record limits (which I am only using 3% of my 50,000 record limit and repetively explained to them that was not the issue I was asking about). But I won't comment on the unhelpful support beyond that.To help all of you who may be facing this same frustratingly bizarre problem, I'll explain what I discovered on my own. WHAT

Hi, I'm looking for some help with a rollup that is rolling up start dates and returning the earliest date from a table. The aggregate function seen on the image is not taking into account the filter I'm trying to apply. I'm trying to return the earliest date on a roll up where the Session Name is not Session Zero. I do I do this in the formula ?  

We've added Interface-only users to our AirTable Interface. How can I prevent users from adding them to the full Base?  The Base contains sensitive data that Interface-only users should not have access to.  I've noticed multiple times that Base users have invited Interface-only users to the Base.

Hello all, I am trying to use the WORKDAY_DIFF Formula but it is returning #ERROR and I am struggling to determine why.  The IF,AND piece is working, the WORKDAY_DIFF is not (on its own or with the rest of the formula). IF(  AND({DateSubmitted}, {DateCompleted}),    WORKDAY_DIFF({DateSubmitted},{DateCompleted}))My fields are set to ISO dates. DateSubmitted is the Created Time auto value, and the DateCompleted is a formula - IF(Status="Done",NOW())Any help you can provide would be much appreciated. Thank you! 

Hello,  I'm current working with this formula: WORKDAY({Start Date},{SLA Test})   ---which is the formula in the 'due date' column.I would like for the Due Date to be left blank instead of #Error if there is no start date or SLA.Can someone help with an additional formula that I could add to the one above? Thank you. 

HI All--- I have several automations set up and would like to create this one below. I am trying to set up what feels like a relatively simple automation, but cant figure this out. Can anyone help? Short explanation I want that....1. when a specific form that I use, is submitted...2. containing 1 of any 3 options in the dropdown,3. to update a different record in the base.---- More detailsI am trying to eliminate a manual step that I have to do each time this form is submitted. After a form is submitted, I have to find the record and update a field to "N/A" whenever a form is submitted as Paid. N/A tells other team members that the invoice does not need payment. Basically what I want is that any time a form is submitted as "paid" it should also have "N/A" applied automatically. But I can't figure this out?! We have 3 different credit cards that we use so, really, any time the form has been submitted with any of the three cards (Paid Visa, Paid MC, Paid Amex)...

Just curious, are there currently issues with Hootsuite & automations because of Twitter?I have some Airtable automations that allow me to send unique scheduled posts to Hootsuite for multiple platforms & accounts. I have seperate automations for each platform or have one for the option to send to all.Seems like Twitter has broken the API between Airtable & Hootsuite.I am getting an error from Twitter when trying to connect to Hootsuite. Seems like Twitter is even preventing the connection to the other platforms.Twitter returned an error. Error hashes: rm18c109a07cc4fc8a, ufm18c109a07cc4fc8aCannot use the automation for any of them now. p.s. Screenshot shows the ones I am speaking of as turned off. That is intentional so I can do things manually.Just curious if anyone is dealing with the same issue. I have sent this to support also. Figured I would give it a shot here also.

Until recently, we've had no problems with images and thumbnails displaying in Airtable. Over the last couple of days though, we've had a few images that come through without thumbnails. When you open the record, it shows a 'blank' image (see pics below).In two cases, when I clicked on the image from within the record, the actual image displayed, but for others it remained blank.Users are uploading images from their mobile devices. Hey, all!I was wondering if there is a way to gain the sum of values based on column data. Here is what I'm looking for:I have four tables--materials, packets, procurement, & purchase orders. I link the materials to the procurement table to populate all the details of the material. I link the packet to that line item to signify what I'm charging to (it has job info and everything). Then I need shipping and receiving to check the items in so that we can determine that everything from a given packet has been received which is being validated by the purchase order. What we currently have to do is check every line item in as received. This is rather tedious, and all I really want is to determine that everything on the purchase order is being received. Additionally, if I can solve this, I would love a sum of how much of each material I have in stock for a given job, not a given packet as there are multiple packets per job. While some of this may seem redundant, it is due to the number o
