In my automations under action types, I see that the run script option is not available. Two questions:What can scripts do? Are they for example capable of making HTTP requests? And what scripting language is supported?Why is this action not available? All the way down the list there are a few integrations that are unavailable because I need to upgrade to pro or enterprise, as the icon clearly indicates. This doesn't seem to be the case for scripts? 

I have three tables: Projects, People, Contracts.When a request for a new Project is submitted, multiple People are added to the 'Talent' field.I would like to create an Automation that then creates a new Contract for each of the People allocated as Talent.Thank you in advance. I hope I've explained that sufficiently, I'm new to Airtable! 

Hello All,After discovering Airtable through a colleague in a similar area, my office has been using it to manage temporary staffing. Despite the trend towards (and admitted usefulness of) low-code and no-code third party solutions, I am lucky to have a formal computer science background and as such have found the ability to weave varying levels of hard code into my organization's platform in a way that (mostly) integrates well with extant declarative tools and elements uniquely useful.Getting to the actual issue at hand, I am putting together a solution through an instance of the scripting app to run on the press of a button that takes select fields from the input record, concatenates them into a large string, and hashes them into a (semi)unique password to be used in a separate email validation process.Collision is a non-issue and the hash has no need to be cryptographically secure, but it is important that the resulting value, which is stored in a plain text field, remain immut

I end up with different combinations of groups containing the same value.For e.g. I do have: "Audio", "Audio + Audio", "Audio + Onboarding" (please see screenshot).I would like to have "Audio" as one group and "Onboarding" as 2nd group. I am fine with the fact that they will contain exact same record.I understand the relations between the tables, however can someone guide me how to build it in a different way, so that I can have "unique" Groups? I still would like to use multi select (not single select).Cheers,Karo 

Hello Everyone,TLDR:  Can I populate the {to} field in the "send an email" action with a conditional list of email addresses?I have a user accounts table with typical user account stuff (name, email address, etc.).  In that table there is a single select field to describe each user's role within our org. I would like to send an automated email to everyone who matches a specific user role when certain record triggers fire.  I.e.  "When a record is updated, send this email to all users with the role of {team leader}".The list of users will not be static over time.  Thus, I need automation to read the record data at the time the trigger fires, and fetch the appropriate email addresses for inclusion into the email {to} field.We are on a pro account.  TIA

I have a column that has a list of counties and they all have the state abbreviations next to them. Is there a way to remove the abbreviations with a formula inside of airtable? 

Dear friends, I need again your help.I am creating a database in which I will add information about patients with a specific disease. In a main table, I will summarise the most relevant information about each patient, and each row will correspond to a patient (record) with a specific ID number. In another table called "visits" I will add data about all the outpatients visits (each per row with a specific date). Each patient on the first table can have more than 1 visit but each visit can be associated only with 1 specific patient. I correctly linked the 2 tables, and now in the main table, I can see all the visits for each patient. What I need to do now is to visualise in a field of the main table specific information contained in a specific field of the "visits" table. In detail, I need to visualize the status of the disease in the most recent visit of that specific patient (disease-free, progression, regression). I tried creating a rollup field and using the formula MAX(values)

I have had a form for the last few weeks that worked exactly as expected.  Today the linked fields in the form cannot be clicked to select from the list of linked records.  All the field settings in the underlying table and in the form itself appear correct.  I even tried creating a completely new form and the problem persists.  Here's a link to the live form:https://airtable.com/shr5M59mTF6jXrEUlAny ideas what's happening?EDITED TO ADD: I can add a new record directly into the underlying table with no issues - all fields work exactly as expected! 

Hi there,I'm experiencing a strange situation with a simple formula. Here's what i'm using:WORKDAY_DIFF({Date-test-1}, {Date-test-2})-1 I set date-test-1 to Today's date (Friday). If I set "Date-test-2" to next Monday, the result is correct: 1(Note that my dates are in european format) If I set it to next Friday, the result is correct: 5 It seems that it does it perfectly whenever Date test is a future date. I also want to calculate the working days between today and a past date, and here's where i'm getting strange results:Setting Date-test-2 to Yesterday, Thursday, the result is: -3, should be -1 Setting it to last Friday, the result is: -7, should be -5 Any explanation on why this is is happening? I could do an easy trick, and add +2 whenever the date is past, but I can't understand why this is happening, so i don't know if this fix would stay consistent. Thanks in advance! Javier  

I have recently been tasked with the goal to create an automation that allows the attaching of an extension result to an email. This extension lays out the information from an admin-only base into a pleasing format for people assigned to a certain job to be able to read the requirements for the job in a clear way. Is there a way for AirTable to take information from an extension (as in a file) and automatically place it into an automated email? Thanks!

I have a table with the fields "Title" and "Status". I want to automatically post to a Slack channel every 2 weeks, a list of the "Titles" that have had their "Status" fields updated to a particular value within the past two weeks. Currently, I can only generate a list of ALL the "Titles" with the particular "Status" value. How can I limit it to show only the recently updated ones? Do I need to write a script instead?

I've got an events calendar and an automation set up so that event registrants will get an email 6 hours prior to an event, using a formula field and the TONOW formula:TONOW({Start})The automation sends an email when the formula field reads "6 hours".The trouble is, the field renders "6 hours" twice - once 6 hours before the event and again 6 hours after the event, so it triggers the automation to run again 6 hrs after the event.Can anyone recommend a better formula to get what I'm looking for here?Thanks!!!

Hello, I am still getting used to Airtable and am having trouble designing my tables and views. I am looking for some help from the community. Here's the scenario:I am trying to create a gallery view of approved real estate properties that I can share with my clients.Clients should be able to sort and filter the gallery view to help them find properties.The card view will show a couple fields but clients can click on the card to expand the record, to see all fields (with exceptions mentioned below).I have 2 people helping me search for real estate properties to add, so I want to create 2 forms for each of them to submit their properties for approval. The form for Person A and Person B will have the same fields except Person B's will have 3 extra fields.As the properties are submitted through the 2 forms, they end up in a grid view and their "Status" should be marked as "Pending" until I mark them as "Approved", at which point they should show up on the gallery view for clients.The

I have set up a form for clients to fill out. I want the information the clients give us to remain intact, so I am trying to create an automation that will copy over all the information from the form into a new record on a new table. Then once it's created a new record, we can go in and make corrections and adjustments.So far it's working fine except for number fields. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong? We ask client the quantity for a product, they tell us. I want that field to be copied over in the new record. But when I select the "Quantity" field, it prompts me to enter a number instead of linking another field.I have experimented with changing the format of our "new record table" quantity field to "single line text" instead of number, and that weirdly lets me link the "quantity" field from the form. Hi dear community 🙂I try to build a crowdfunding platform for real estate using Airtable.Users can choose the project to invest in and make a payment.   I am able to see all users and in what project they invested in Here are all transactions users made The struggle is to pay every user based on the amount they invested in each project because each project has a different dividend % and users can invest in 2-3 different projects in different periods. I somehow need to add to their profile what they earn every month. Any ideas on how to make it a reality? 🙂 Thank you 🙂

Hi all, I have set up a gmail automation and am sending an ISO Date time to the email recipient. The date time that is sent is 4 hours ahead of what is entered in my table. Any ideas as to why this is happening?In the screenshot of the table view, I do not have a time zone set for date_ordered. I tried with the proper timezone configured as well and it still has the same issue.     

Like the title says can you add a subscript into text in an automation email.    I have tried the following "CO<sub>2</sub>  but it doesn't work.   I have found that you can add lots of other HTML tags like <b></b> for bold and <p style:"blah blah;"></p> to achieve other formatting outcomes but the <sub></sub> tag doesn't seem to work.Is there a way to do this?

I am starting with the following formula.SUM(IF({Commission Based On},{Commission Based On},{Purchase Price (Current/Final)})*{Commission %})+ {Commission Flat Fee}+{Admin/Office Fee}+{Other Fee}-{Concession}-{Referral Flat Fee}I added the following field to my table and need to add it to the formula.{Referral %} The first part of the current formula takes the purchase price and multiplies it by the commission % plus the commission flat fee.SUM(IF({Commission Based On},{Commission Based On},{Purchase Price (Current/Final)})*{Commission %})+ {Commission Flat Fee}But next I need it to take the result of the first part of the formula (which would be the total commission amount), multiply it by {Referral %}, add {Referral Flat Fee}, then subtract those two resulting amounts from the commission amount.Then I will add/subtract the remaining items.Any help would

In the following top portion of my pre-fill code, everything works fine except when there are duplicate records in the Asset Name field.All the other pre-filled items work fine. The Miro integration was announced almost a year ago and works great - for one way integrations: https://community.airtable.com/t5/announcements/new-feature-announcing-airtable-s-miro-integration/ba-p/128357However, I would really need a two way sync, or at the very least a smart hack to achieve something similar.The best solution would obviously be a two way sync of the Content field. (This being the primary field I guess it could cause issues.) The second best option (pending better ideas) would be to have a second Content field. One possible ugly hack (for my use case) would be to use a huge number of Frames (acting as IDs)  and have the Content field editable from Miro. This could work but since I need 180+ Frames for the current case I don't really think it is feasible.Think of building an org chart in Miro (where names can change) and still wishing to link these to more data in Airtable.

I want to use this mathematical formula to calculate the "average" diameter at breast height (DBH) of a tree with multiple stems:DBHavg = SQRT({DBH1}^2 + {DBH2}^2 + {DBH3}^2 + {DBH4}^2)This is the formula I used:SQRT(POWER({DBH 1 (cm)}, 2) + POWER({DBH 2 (cm)}, 2) + POWER({DBH 3 (cm)}, 2) + POWER({DBH 4 (cm)}, 2)) This formula returns an error for most records because most trees only have one or two stems. Only trees with numbers in all six fields will correctly calculate a value. How can I change the formula so it calculates the square root of however many DBH values are present for a particular record?

Hi Fellow Community Members, I get these inventory summary sheets from my vendors that I first have to run a macro on in Excel to transform the summary to individual records to update my inventory in airtable. The sheets are for dresses so each row has the style and color and then the columns have the sizes and under each size is the stock amount. Each style color and size is an SKU in my base so I cannot import the data directly before transforming it in Excel. My question is there a way for me to automate the importation process without having to run transform the data each time or is there an easier way to do this process?I have attached an example of the sheet i get from the vendor and a link to my base.
