I am working on Zoho 's cliq communication platform and I am developing an Airtable extension for that platform. When I tried to create connection with Airtable (actually the platform has a internal frame work kind of thing ) through which oauth connections can be made by providing the client id, secret and other credentials and the rest of the things are taken care of by the backend. And when I tried to create the connection. The authentication tab tried to load and closes automatically without any sign. I have provided below the url sent from the Zoho cliq platform to establish connection. Hi,Am using a formula I've used in bases before, but it's behaving strangely.  It's subtracting a day off of the returned value.  I have two fields with dates.  Only one of the two will ever have a date in it.  I want the formula to grab the date from whichever field has a date already populated in it (from another table)Here is the formula.  IF({Shoot Date Rollup (From Scenes)}="", {Shoot Date Rollup (from Set List)}, {Shoot Date Rollup (From Scenes)})Example:Shoot Date Rollup (From Scenes) = 7/25/23The formula Returns 7/24/23Same if it's the other field that has data Shoot Date Rollup (from Set List) = 8/10/23Formula field returns 8/9/23Thanks for any help.

Hey Everyone, Quick explanation of what I'm trying to do is: I created a couple fields to look at the number of items in a particular category, count those items, add 1 to the count, merge a few string fields together to create a unique identifier "YP Internal Code" (see 'write to cell' image) when a record is created via form.I'm passing an input variable to the script shown (see 'push to table' image), but can't figure out what the next step is to push the changes in the script to the table itself after the assignment of the new internal code to the old one. Thanks for the help, Peter

I see I can input the record ID of the modified record and any specific field of that record into my script, but what if I don’t know which field will be changed and I want to get that record’s field’s value? My early testing found script automation to be kinda slow, so I want to try and be as optimized as I can be from the start. My goal is to monitor >200 fields of a particular record type, then if any are changed, add those records together, create a running total per time period with that summed array, then update a separate record for running totals with that array. I found that addition and subtraction for this many fields at once took almost 30 seconds to update, so I want to only update the fields necessary. This is what happened to the form:As you can see, the "Doll Name" area has the formula to hide the record ID in it. 🤔 🤔 I tried doing it exactly like the video and only having "(Doll Sculpt)", but it said there was an error with the formula and I was forced to use "({Doll Sculpt})". Could this be the issue?I haven't even tested the functionality (I haven't set up the automation) of this yet because I have hit the snag listed above. 😥Thanks for reading!

Hi there smart people!I'm looking to show the percentage of improvement since the implementation of our new Figma redlining process from our team survey. Right now, 5/8 people say the process has either improved or greatly improved! Is it possible to show this in Airtable's Interface? Either as 5/8 or 63%? Participants will continue to add to this survey in the coming weeks. So, I need a create a formula that will update the Interface accordingly. Please, let me know if anyone has an answer!

Hi there,I would like to calculate the extra hours I've worked each day by implementing a formula field. I've currently listed records with "Date", "Start" (date, time, timezone), "End" (date, time, timezone).How do I make sure the formula only lists the extra working hours? Can I implement a formula where weekend days are calculated differently then weekdays?Thanks for your help! 

Hello! I am importing thousands of records from an excel sheet and there is a long text field that contains data that I would like to organize in a single select field. For example, a record may contain "L4_S2" in the long text and I would like to create a single select for "L4_S2" and update every record that has that condition in the long text. I'm trying to do it with automation, but I can only get it to update one specific record and not each record that has the same condition.

I noticed that running a script as part of an automation flow has some limitations in place, which are outlined here. I want to know if the same limitations apply when I am using the Scripting extension.Thanks!

I'm building a table with many due date columns and they all need to be automatically calculated based off of one "publication date." For example one due date might be 21 days before publication. BUT, I always want the due date to fall on a work day. How do I make that happen? And a second, related question: I'd like to have the same sort of setup for one of the tasks but instead of an auto-populated single date, I'd like the formula to return an auto populated 3 week time range. (The weekdays are not important for that one.) 

Is there any way to access the extension APIs outside of an airtable extension? The view metadata provided by the extensions resources Airtable Blocks SDK includes visible fields and other view metadata that the public view metadata API does not have Airtable Web API

I have used a formula to create a new date value based on another date cell: The Next Due Date uses the following formula: SWITCH(Frequency,'Weekly', DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Task Due}, 1, 'week'), 'DD/MM/YYYY'),'Monthly', DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Task Due}, 1, 'month'), 'DD/MM/YYYY'),'Quarterly', DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Task Due}, 3, 'month'), 'DD/MM/YYYY')) However,  to set up views and automations I need to be able to use the conditional properties of a date value, and I can not seem to filter on any of the normal date values. Is there a way to filter Next Due Date to be 'within' and 'the past week'? Thank you! 

hi friends! we are an organization that provides online trainings. i have a base with registrations in one table and a unique attendance list in another table. the other table has a list of all the trainings.so the registrations table is all the registrations we received for each training, so that we can see things like: 100 people registered for training X, 80 were approved to attend (either because they were members or they paid), and 70 actually attended. because people attend multiple trainings, this list contains different registrations for the same person.the attendance table is a list of each person who ever attended a training with a related record field that contains all the trainings they attended, linked from the list. that way we can see things like: 300 people attended our trainings last year, person X attended 4 trainings, Y organization sent 4 people to trainings last year.i have an automation set up that after a training happens & we record the attendance, it takes

HiI'm reading my Airtable data using the API which is working fine, I'm now trying to write back to Airtable but I am having issues.I can write to Airtable successfully if the field is a string or a number but I can't when it's a currency. Hello, I am pretty new to airtable and have a slight issue with fetching info from a record within a record. With an automation i create a number of records within a record to be able to choose multiple products for the same order number. I've looked through the community and tried to apply the examples offered...but I am not getting it quite right.I need to extract the suburb, state and post code from a (text) address field. Some suburbs are made up of two names. Hi, I'm looking to just get some sort of identifier of the button pressed.  I would like to have several buttons run a single script and just identify which button is pressed in the script.I was following this code from the tutorial for getting the button working, but not sure what to access to get the label of the button pressed.  Just the record.      // Change these to match your base. let table = base.getTable('Tasks'); // When run from a button field, the script skips the prompt // and automatically uses the button's record. let record = await input.recordAsync('Choose a record', table);     

I am using the field, "Total Days Open" to count the days between the date something is submitted and the date that work is completed. The formula is: IF(AND({Work Completed} = BLANK(), {Submission Date} = BLANK()), "",IF({Work Completed} = BLANK(), DATETIME_DIFF(TODAY(), {Submission Date}, "d"), DATETIME_DIFF({Work Completed}, {Submission Date}, "d")))On a separate tab, I want to calculate the average total of days based on the Health Plan link to the records I want to average. I have been trying to use the Rollup field but it is returning a value of "NaN"

Hi, I'm new to Airtable and I'm setting up Bases for a company with multiple teams (marketing, sales, project management, asset management & finance). When I set up Bases, is it best to set up separate Bases for each team or to have one Base with multiple Tables for the entire company? The teams share data for Accounts, Contacts, Asset ID and Deal Amount, so those will be common to all and needs to be the universal source of truth. Does it make sense to have one Base with those common/shared Tables and then share and sync the Bases, or to just do it all in one Base?  If I created one Base, it will end up having many Tables and could become unwieldly, but seems much easier to create automations if everything is in one Base with multiple Tables. The end goal is to have one source of truth.

Hey Guys, My question is how many external API calls we can make in Scipting Extension Block per execution.FYI, my usecase is to read records(around 2000) from a table view, make 2000 API calls for all of these records, and then finally update the records in a batch update of 50.I particularly want to know that if there's any limitation on making external API calls in scripting extension block?Thanks!!
