I’m trying to script some record creation right now and it involves populating a multi-select field, but for some reason I’m unable to make this updating work no matter how I try. I know that a multiple select field needs to be updated with array values only, so this is what I’ve attempted: var book_arr = []; book_arr.push(book_num); await new_table.updateRecordAsync(newRecord, {'Book Number':book_arr}); where book_num is a single value that I know is already a valid option for the multi-select. I also tried to pass it directly when creating the record as just 'Book Number':[book_num], but no dice there either. I don’t see anything in the API documentation about updating the value of a multi-select field, only updating the options, so not sure where to turn here.

I have a field that has stuff in it like this" 2023-02-09 Jeff Alexander Website"I'm using a formula to extract the date and the name so then I have fields that look like" 2023-02-09" and "Jeff Alexander Website"I want to make a calendar view of this table. It's asking for a date field. Even though i have a field that isolates the date ( 2023-02-09 ) it isn't a field type of date, so airtable doesn't recognize it. my thinking is that i need a date field and i need to autopopulate it and i don't know how. I'm open to other ideas for how to put " 2023-02-09 Jeff Alexander Website" into a calendar view

Hello, maybe this is not even possible, but if it is, what would be the proper syntax for this ?IF(VALUE({Total Rate 6})) >0, VALUE({Total Rate 6}), Blank() This field is showing the data of another column called "Total Rate 6", but i want it to be blank if the amount is 0(zero)

Context: I have two tables, Shots and Videos (with links between). It's possible one shot may be used in more than one video. I will export shots through a CSV into an InDesign template using data merge (Page Builder won't work for other reasons).Problem: I'm trying to specify a chronological order for the shots to appear.Ideas that won't work/aren't ideal:I could just drag them around into the right order, but since one shot may go into multiple videos, the order may vary by video.I could rearrange order of linked shots from Video table side, but that won't work the the CSV export to InDesign.I could do a single select list of numbers, but that won't work since each shot may have a different number for each video it's in.Any other ideas? 

Hi everyone, I'm trying to get this formular to work, and although it parses there's no output.   ARRAYJOIN(ARRAYCOMPACT(Field1,Field2,Field3,Field4), ", ")  The fields are a mix of and link-to-another-record fields lookups (of link-to-another-record fields) where the outputs all are fine. The reason why I'm using an ARRAYCOMPACT as well is because half of the fields are usually empty.Thank you very much ❤️

I know this is super simple, but I am new to formulas. We are using airtable to manage our content with around 10 accounts. Now, our accounts are PRO (Comprehensive collaboration) level with 50000 records per base. We want to upgrade to ENTERPRISE (Maximum business value) with 100.000 records per base. I want to know how the cost will change per user / month. (Currently, we are paying $ 20 / month per user)

Hi everyone,An application is sending me a date in ISO format (2022-02-13) and I want to convert it in the european date format without dropping the day and month leading zeros ( = 13/02/2022). I managed to convert from ISO to European but the leading zeros are dropped.If I use the DATETIME_FORMAT with the 'L' specifier, the leading zeros are back but the format reverse to the american format ( = MM/DD/YYYY).Is there a way to keep both the european format and the leading month and day zeros ?Thanks in advance for your help, Gilles

Hello,We are on the enterprise version and we are wondering if it is possible to pull in a revision into an automated email.For example, we want to be able to show a change in dates and would like to be able to show the old vs. new date within an email.Not all of our users are in Airtable and we would love to be able to be transparent with our teams on what something was to what it is now for a change in dates. Thanks!

Hello, I would really appreciate if someone could help me to solve my puzzle)I have a table "Schedule" where we input addresses, every address goes into 3 separate fields, "Street Name", "City" and "Zip Code"So I created an automation (check images attached) where "Zip Code" field is auto filled with preset zip code when a "City" is chosen. Everything works fine, but automation works with one city only and my question is, is there a chance to modify automation where I can add options to fill zip codes for other cities in the same automation, not just one or I need something else and I chose the wrong path to do it.I tried to create a separate automation for every city we have in the "City" field, but very quickly I was told by Airtable that my plan allows me to have only 40 automations and I have around 100 cities in the "City" fieldThank you in advance for those willing to help. 

Hello,    Hope someone will be able to help me, I am trying to create a formula field for my employee to auto calculate his work hours for a day. He fills out the form and I am tired to calculate his hours per day.So, I've got one field "IN" with multiple select options "8:00am" "8:30am" and "9:00am" and another field "OUT" with multiple select hours "3:00pm", "3:30pm" and "4:00pm" (I have more options, but it does not matter here), so ones IN and OUT are filled, I want to have a formula field calculating how many hours my employee worked today. I thing it should be done as logical formula, like if IN is *8:00am" and OUT is "3:00pm" then HOURS result is 7, something like this, but I can not make it right, anybody could help?

So I'm really sorry, but I'm hoping someone could help me, as I've been googling for days and don't know what is what anymore!I am trying to link my shipping solution (Shipstation) to my Airtable database.So far, I've managed to successfully set up a webhook, so when an order is shipped, Shipstation sends a webhook to Airtable. However the webhook is just a "resource_url", not actual useful data (like an order number). I am working on Zoho 's cliq communication platform and I am developing an Airtable extension for that platform. When I tried to create connection with Airtable (actually the platform has a internal frame work kind of thing ) through which oauth connections can be made by providing the client id, secret and other credentials and the rest of the things are taken care of by the backend. And when I tried to create the connection. The authentication tab tried to load and closes automatically without any sign. Hi,Am using a formula I've used in bases before, but it's behaving strangely.  It's subtracting a day off of the returned value.  I have two fields with dates.  Only one of the two will ever have a date in it.  I want the formula to grab the date from whichever field has a date already populated in it (from another table)Here is the formula.  IF({Shoot Date Rollup (From Scenes)}="", {Shoot Date Rollup (from Set List)}, {Shoot Date Rollup (From Scenes)})Example:Shoot Date Rollup (From Scenes) = 7/25/23The formula Returns 7/24/23Same if it's the other field that has data Shoot Date Rollup (from Set List) = 8/10/23Formula field returns 8/9/23Thanks for any help.

Hey Everyone, Quick explanation of what I'm trying to do is: I created a couple fields to look at the number of items in a particular category, count those items, add 1 to the count, merge a few string fields together to create a unique identifier "YP Internal Code" (see 'write to cell' image) when a record is created via form.I'm passing an input variable to the script shown (see 'push to table' image), but can't figure out what the next step is to push the changes in the script to the table itself after the assignment of the new internal code to the old one. Thanks for the help, Peter

I see I can input the record ID of the modified record and any specific field of that record into my script, but what if I don’t know which field will be changed and I want to get that record’s field’s value? My early testing found script automation to be kinda slow, so I want to try and be as optimized as I can be from the start. My goal is to monitor >200 fields of a particular record type, then if any are changed, add those records together, create a running total per time period with that summed array, then update a separate record for running totals with that array. I found that addition and subtraction for this many fields at once took almost 30 seconds to update, so I want to only update the fields necessary. EDIT: Updated to give more details about my intentions
