Assuming a trigger is met, and I have at least 2 actions in the automation...What happens if the first action fails?A> Does the automation exit?B> Or does it also try the next action?If B, is there any way to use "previous action" success as an input into conditional actions?I want to make sure an automation doesn't do step B if step A fails.

Hi,I am new to Airtable, but hopefully it makes sense what I am trying to achieve. I am creating a product database that will include product name and it´s ingredients. I want to be able to tell if a product is vegan friendly, not vegan, or unknown based on the ingredient status.For that, I created a separate table that stores ingredient names as a key and their status (vegan friendly, not vegan, or unknown). Almost each ingredients have synonyms that have to be included, but the synonyms should be treated the same way as the main ingredient (as for the status). So I created another table that stores synonym name as a key and their respective ingredient as a foreign key. Back at the Product table, I want to be able to add product ingredients and for Airtable to check the Ingredient list and Synonym list and assign the status for the product (non vegan - if there is at least one non vegan ingredient, vegan if there are no non vegan or unknown ingredients and unknow - if there

Airtable novice here, need help crafting a search formula that will find the record that contains both a First Name and Last Name.  So in the attached screenshot, I will provide "Harley" and "Comber" and need Airtable to flag record 3 as satisfying the search.  I can't search based on an exact match because sometimes the name as it exists in the table includes a middle initial, full middle name, jr., sr., etc. that the document I'm pulling the first name and last name off of to do the search does not include.  But I will always have the first name and last name available to search.  This is going in a Zapier routine that will provide the first name and last name for the search and then return the correct record so I can use the corresponding Matter ID in future steps.  So, basically I need a formula that instructs Airtable to find the record that includes both the [First Name] and [Last Name] variables.  Thanks for your help.

I am looking to score my leads in my Airtable which I use as a CRM. I have a multi select field called 'Journey' which has a number of events in the lead life cycle - for example an IOI (indicator of interest) of the prospect asking about the price, or the timelines - what I would like to do is rollup those Journey steps which are in the 'Touchpoints' table and have a lookup field for the Contact into a Contact rollup field and calculate the lead score which would involve assigning unique values to the Journey steps. For example an IOI - Pricing might be 5 points, an IOI - Timelines - might be 7 points (as an example) - adding all those points together and having a lead score. I would love to have some additional filter options for filtering the base and grouping the views. Google Tables lets you filter by Week, which is a great feature. I can't find a way to do this in Airtable. I can only say within the next or previous 7 days. What if I want to see it by just this current week Monday-Sunday? Especially in the reporting. Below are the DataStudio and Google Tables quick select date filters. From what I can tell, I cannot do this with Airtable. One of my Bases is my estimating department. I just moved them over from Google Tables, and one thing that is greatly missed is the ability to group by week. Seems like it should be an easily accessible feature, and I hope I'm just missing something. It would also be nice in the reporting to be able to compare last month versus this month or last year versus this year. Cannot do that because the filters, from what I can tell, only show "within" as an option. Thank you for any help

Hi,I've registered an oAuth integration here and have given all permissions as seen in the below attached screenshot. I'm able to get the access token on the server side. The access token works for non metadata API calls. However when making metadata API calls like list bases or list tables, I'm getting the errorINVALID_PERMISSIONS_OR_MODEL_NOT_FOUND. I've tried with two different airtable accounts and through my application, terminal and postman as well. same result. I have a table with multiple tabs that delineate project categories (I’m in Marketing so eblasts, social, blogs, etc.) and each of the items has an “owner” field with a collaborator assigned. Is there anyway to create a view or additional table where I could log in and see all the projects I’m working across all those tabs? I know within one tab I can filter for things assigned to me but I’d love to see everything I’m working on easily in one place

Hello, I have multiple team members using our airtable system. We are all in the same database and I am looking to track productivity from the team based on records updated within a day. Is there anyway to pull a report or set something up so I can see who completed what per day, month, etc? Example. Sally and John both work for Company ABC. Sally completes 5 tasks in the system and John completes 2. Currently the only way I know to see this is by clicking in the record making it not feasible to be able to view the productivity. Thanks,

Hi all, Semi-new user to the tool here, and still learning the formulas. I have the following issue: I am using the switch function to categorize certain single select options into different categories (in this case, which statuses in the HR systems relate to an overall designation of accepted, dispositioned, interviewing, etc)My full formula is below. The issue is the very last line item: 'Doesn't Meet Min Qual', 'Dispositioned'This line has the apostrophe in the word "Doesn't", and that seems to be invalidating the formula. Everything worked great until I added that line, and then it breaks. I unfortunately can't change the wording of the option, since it comes directly from our system. Hi all,I am building a base for capturing information about a large collection of school trophies. The "trophies" table includes a linked field, "people." In the "people" table, there is a "role" field. There may be cases where a person has multiple roles, e.g. "alternate" and "student." It seems like there should be a way to characterize the relationship from trophy to person by multiple roles. I don't have enough experience to know my options. I have a script that runs without any errors but doesn't actually do anything. However, if I go to Test Automation and select a record to test, then run it, it works (almost) as expected. Therefore pretty confused what's going wrong. Image files are automatically downloaded from our server into the mockUpFiles field within a table. File names are like this 63eb679887a459_13030203recqKJDnAJSRJOsSL.jpeg. The script should use title + "_" + designTypeName + "_" + channel to change the filename to something which allows me to identify the contents. Hello - I'm developing a deal tracking system to help my team win more business and report quicker to management. One management requirement is to show trends over time on the size of the deal pipeline.I can easily create a report or dashboard to show current statistics but management want to see how these statistics have changed over time. To do this I've created a new table in my Base for "Daily Stats" and I want to run a daily automation to calculate a snapshot of statistcs from my "Deals" table. Each statistic will have it's own field in the Daily Stats table with each record being the date/time of the automation. The type of stats I want to calculate are:- Total number of deals in the table- Number of open deals (filter out those with won and lost closed status')- Value of all open deals  (each deal has a potential value, again need to be filtered)- Average cost of open deals (have a field already for costs)I can't figure a way to do this using formula/lookup/rollup fields wh

So I found no way to get the total record count when I am in Gallery view. I would especially like to get the count once I have applied any filter.In the "Full View" the status bar at the bottom does show total count. It also updates when a filter is applied. I would want a similar way to get the count but in Gallery view. The Full view have an additional nice way to get count when Grouping is applied. But in the Gallery view we can't even apply any grouping.Any solution welcome, even if it needs Scripting.

I'm puzzled by an error I am coming up against ... We pay our service providers' invoices (received by Monday) ten working days later (so, typically two weeks later). Using this formula, I get the result I want for a date of Monday 20/2/2023 being Monday 6/3/2023:  WORKDAY({Send your invoice by}, 10, '01-01-2023, 02-01-2023, 07-04-2023, 10-04-2023, 01-05-2023, 08-05-2023')  When I add the next public holiday date into the formula, I get an ERROR: WORKDAY({Send your invoice by}, 10, '01-01-2023, 02-01-2023, 07-04-2023, 10-04-2023, 01-05-2023, 08-05-2023, 29-05-2023')​ I don't understand why adding that date breaks the formula, can anyone advise please?

In jira we have an Acceptance Criteria field with LOTS of text and we sync this to airtable because airtable offers more fields necessary for the work we do.I want to be able to create a formula that finds and returns the free form text after a specific string of text in the long text field.For example from the long text example further below I want the formula to SEARCH the {Acceptance Criteria} field for  “Creative_Type: " and return the text after it (maybe use “RIGHT”?) but before a hard return and the result in this case would be SIG I’ve created rules where the options are a static list (for example “Email Type: “can only have a certain selection so my formulas account for that but when the text is free from I just want that field to populate with the free form text that shows after “Creative_Type: “  I assume it would have to be a RIGHT and calculating the length or isolating anything after the "Creative_Type: and before the hard return or do i have to create a combo f
