Hi there, I’m a French PharmD and I use Airtable to manage all patients’ appointments. It’s very useful for all my team except 1 laborious step : create appointments. I manage all appointments in a dedicated table (every X days I create X records for next days, so anyone can select a slot). So far I create appointments (1 appointment = 1 record) one by one. Ideally, I would like to fill a form and create multiple records with an automated script. For exemple, if I fill a form with : from : 22/10/2022 09:00 to : 22/10/2022 11:45 every : 00:15 (fifteen minutes) ==> It run a script and create records : 22/10/2022 09:00 22/10/2022 09:15 22/10/2022 09:30 … 22/10/2022 11:45 As a Pharmacist I don’t have skills to create a reliable JavaScript code in automation. I have a formula field that creates an email address for me, but when there's an extra space after someone's last name it returns an extra "." and breaks my automation connection to create the email. Ex. sandy.castellano.  --- it should be sandy.castellano I thought adding TRIM to the last name would fix the issue but I keep getting an error code. Hello,sorry, if I ask a question that might have been asked before. I am creating a simple private bookkeeping table and would like to build a SWITCH function that stamps the DATE when a value changes ("paid" / "open").Furthermore, I have tried the TODAY() function, but it updates every day. The LAST_MODIFIED_TIME() works, but if I change the value of the field, it will automatically update again. I want to make an automation that runs a script, and in that script I'd like to call an ajax function (either with jQuery somehow or with XMLHttpRequest() etc.) to grab some external data from a Google calendar. Is this possible? I've searched around and can't seem to find any information on it and the script editor says the ajax functions aren't defined, so I'm not sure if/how I can include jQuery if that can help.Thanks

I am trying to make a formula that takes the date/time from a previous column, and if the time is in the p.m, display the current date, however, if the time is in the a.m, to display the previous day's date. Attached it my current formula, which works for the p.m. times, but shows a mixture of 'Invalid Date' and an oddly specific time (see photos)Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I’m using a button to trigger a Zapier webhook. It’s annoying that every time the button is clicked, a browser window is opened. As I can select to run a script with the push of a button, is there any way to run a script in the background that triggers the webhook? Thanks!

Either I've stumbled upon a great bug or I'm a complete idiot. If history is anything to go by let's assume the latter.In a greater context I'm using a formula to check if TODAY() is in the range of some dates.Sometimes the date is from an automatic Created Time field, other times it's from a regular date field. When I check the Created Time (doesn't matter if the field is with out without a timestamp) on a record created moment ago against TODAY() I get a false.I used it in a long formula, but boiled down to it's minimum it just doesn't work. IF(TODAY()={Created Time},"1","0") The above returns 0 on a record created 15 minutes ago.If I ask it to check a date field with today's date inserted, then it returns 1.What's going on and how can I work around this?

Hello!I am trying to set up an automation where when a record is updated, the email column in the same row as that record receives an email with the information in the updated record.For example, I have 3 columns: Name, Email and Unique URL. I want to be able to put in a URL for that Name and have that URL be sent in an automated email to the same email address associated with the name.I have the email column and the unique url on the left hand side but when I go to test it, it gives me an error/shows up empty with the fields, saying I do not have an email and it doesn't show the URL I have put in the grid. Screenshots attached. What am I doing wrong here? I'm trying/hoping I can do this. I have an extension added to a table (SyncWith) but that needs to be manually triggered to run/update the sync. Ideally I'd like to create an automation to run once a day and trigger that extension, maybe with a custom script or something that can interact with it.Is such a thing possible with scripting? Hi all, I'm trying to set up a HTML button with a link that includes a variable "Name" (name of the product) like this: I tried adding " " to make everything except &Name& green but it didn't work. Is there a way to put HTML in the formula and use variables? Surely I'm missing something. Thanks!  

I can't seem to figure out how to loop a concate formula. I have 2 columns: Show Name and Episode Number. Show is single select and Episode is multi. My desired output is a string that loops the show name before the episode number; instead I only get Show Name, then a list of episodes with a comma deliminator.The desired outputs are the names of linked records. Example base below. Hello All.In table A I have all of my outbound communications listed. In this table there is a field called "Month Sent", this field is used to link table A & table B. Table B contains the aggregations of all the communications sent per month (Month sent, Total sends, Total opens, percentage opens, etc.). I want to show the metrics for the communications for each format type per month (i.e. email, SMS, etc.). The ideal way of doing this would be to somehow have a single select field for the format in table B which whenever changed automatically causes that record to calculate the number of communications for that format only and update the record accordingly. I know there is an option in the roll-up to add a condition, but that would mean creating a different view and roll-up condition for each format. In Google sheets, I simply had a table, combo box and if statement that read something along the lines of IF the combo box is equal to the format then add to the count.&nbs

Hello Airtable Community, I'm creating a form where I need a specific number of volunteers for each area of an event I'm planning, for example, I need 5 volunteers on Saturday from 9am-12pm; 5 volunteers on Saturday from 12pm-3pm, etc. What can I do in creating the form to where as the volunteers sign up for various slots, the available number of slots decreases from 5 available to 4 to 3 to 2 to 1 to 0?I don't want six volunteers to sign up, I don't want the sixth person to see it would be an option.  Any suggestions would be most appreciated!Best, Dan

Hi All,I have text field called Name, which contains data in the following format: XXX - YYY - ###, where XXX and YYY are random texts, ### is a 1/2/3 digit number and they are always separated by " - ".In another field I'm using the following formula: TRIM(MID(Name, FIND("-",Name,FIND("-",Name)+1)+1,3)).My goal is to find the number at the end of the Name field and use it as a number in other calculations, but although the result looks good, it is not recognized as a number.Any suggestions?Thank you in advance!

I am creating a record summary interface but am wanting to use a different field than the primary field in my table for the dropdown to search up a record. Is this possible? Is there a work around? It is difficult to use the primary field in our table for searches as it is a code, it would be much simpler to use a different field. Thanks!

Hi everyone,I'm very new to Airtables and I'm trying to figure out some formulas. For now, I'm trying to figure out training completion from my base. The 'Training Completed' field is a multi-selection field (also a linked field) that shows all training an employee has completed. I want to create a formula where if a person has completed Training A and Training B, then the result is 'completed'. So basically, out of the many options that present themselves in the multi-selection field, I need to select 2 specific pieces of training that indicate that a program has been completed. I've tried using the IF (FIND) formula. I'm getting part of it correct, where I've just included Training A, but when I try to add in Training B, the formula doesn't work. This is what I have so far:IF(FIND("Training A", {Training Completed}), "Completed", "Not Completed")  I need to add in Training B to the mix as well. Can anyone help me with this? 

Continuing the discussion from Creating new row entries from a long text: Since this thread was closed and I’m facing a similar problem I was wondering if someone could help out. I have a Long text field in my table, lets call it “Task Submission”, that I would like to create entries in another table from each new line of text, as shown in the image below. Is there a Way to script this to run manually or automatically. I have an enterprise plan. I need this because i need users to submit new tasks that need to be followed in another table. thanks
