Hi All,I made some changes to my form and now I am unable to generate it.  Error msg in Screenshot.I went to back to previous versions (snapshots) and got the same error.So now I am stuck. Would appreciate any help.

We are in the process of transitioning some of our different bases to use synced tables coming from a sort of ‘Single Source of Truth’ base. Now, some of these tables that we would like to make synced to the base have numerous linked records, lookups, rollups, as well as scripts and automations that impact them. From what I have discovered so far, there is no way to sync an already existing table containing the same information to our new source base. Is this correct? Essentially, to properly transition to the synced table, I will need to recreate all of the items that are not synced? I want to make sure this is the case before I jump into transitioning some of these bases, only to find out there was an easier workaround all along. Thanks for all the help!

I am looking to assign tasks to non-airtable users by sending them via slack. Is there an integration or extension that allows the assignee to complete the task and update the record on my table without actually going on Airtable? It appears Todoist has that sort of feature but I'm not finding anything on Airtable that enables this. Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to use a formula or some other work around to find the most recent date across 4 rollup columns? See photo. I'd like the left column to then show the most recent date, the 4 columns are different donation platforms and it'd be helpful to summarize that info to one single column showing most recent date regardless of the donation platform. 

I currently have an inventory base (A) that I synced to another base (B) in the same workspace. When I tried to sync the same base (A) to another base (C), I get this error message: Non-200 Response Received: 413 error. I am not sure why I am getting that, since the first sync worked fine. Could anyone help me figure out what that error means? I do have to sync the original inventory base (A) to multiple separate bases. I hope this makes sense! Thank you so much!!

Over time our long text field with bullet points has evolved into 100+ lines and we're looking for a way to no longer add new bullets at the bottom of the field, but rather at the top. Hence the very logical question: on existing long text fields how could one "invert" the bullet points. I have a Date/Time field that feeds into a formula field to pull the date from it. It used to work perfectly well, now that I have added the time option to it as well though there is an issue with it sorted dates wrong. As an example I have a task that is listed with the date 1/19/2021 7:00pm but when I put it into the formula it reads it as 01/20/2021. If I change the time to 1/19/2021 7:00am it reads it as 01/19/2021. It does read the Date/Time correctly in Calendar view. Is there anything I can do to ensure it reads the Date/Time field correctly for the formula? It is important for grouping reasons. The formula I am currently using is: IF({Due On}=BLANK(), “N/A”, DATETIME_FORMAT({Due On}, ‘L’))

Hi everyone. I’m using some rollup fields in a way that is only really useful if I can automate the linking of new relevant records to that rollup field’s record. Right now, the automation simply overwrites the old record link, rather than adding an additional one. The link field is set to allow multiple linked records, and I can add multiple links manually. Is there a way to configure this in the update record action? I am stumped.

Hi, I am trying to create a formula to work out meal allocations for works at a festival site.Currently I have date fields for 'ARRIVAL DATE' & 'DEPARTURE DATE' and a field for 'DAYS ON SITE' which uses the formula DATETIME_DIFF({DEPARTURE DATE},{ARRIVAL DATE}, 'DAYS') to calculate the days that any given crew member will be on site. I use another field 'Crew Meals' with the formula SUM({DAYS ON SITE}*3)Through the actual show component of the event, we only feed crew members that are actively working ie audo / lighting operators. I have included a check box field 'SHOW CREW' for crew members to check if they work on the show. I would like to create a formula (potentially an extension of the 'CREW MEALS' formula) which takes into consideration the 'SHOW CREW' check box status.For example - departure date minus arrival date = days on site minus 4 days, if the check box is unchecked. Howdy yall, I am trying to do a simple math setup for a client. calls per hour, demos per hour, calls per demo... The issue I am running into is the math seems to be coming back wrong. I have tried a few different ways and still having issues. Here you can see the number not adding up. In this case, we did 30 demos and had 19 families sign up. According to my calculator, I get 1.58 demos per family (30/19). However, I get 1.82 in the formula field. I have eliminated the infinity/NaN issues with the code in the pic that I found and edited. I will add that the rows the data is being pulled from are just normal number rows. I have tried different decimal sizes to see if it was a rounding issue, but it wasn't. Any advice or ideas would be awesome.

HelloI have a task I'm trying to achieve with a script in an automation. It's an automation to run every 3rd week of a month (ideally), and to trigger a script which will find all the Wednesdays in the next month and create certain records on those dates. That part I have sussed out, but what I can't find out how to do would be to grab the data/title from the last record of the current month the automation runs on so that I can make sure the new records it creates in the following month flow on correctly. Eg:Automation runs on 16th Jan, triggers a script to create records on every Wednesday in February, starting with a specific title relative to the last Wednesday record in January.The script needs to find out the title of record on the last wednesday of January (which would have been the 25th) and pass that variable into some logic I'll create to determine the titles of the February entries it automates. Hopefully this makes sense! I can't for the life of me figure out what's happening with this one transaction in the personal finances base I've been building.  Would you guys take a look?These are two of the same type of transaction for comparison.  The top transaction calculates exactly as expected.  The bottom transaction calculates out to -$0.00?!?!  I have traced and re-traced the formulas and can't find the issue, haha!  Here's the flow:The Amount field calculates by choosing the non-empty entry amount field from the following options:  an Enter Amount field that allows me to type the amount indirectly, and the Import Debit and Import Credit fields you see in this screenshot which come from my bank import files.Transactions are designated into one or more categories.The amounts from those designation records are rolled up into the Total Split field.The Left to Split formula is: IF(Type="Withdrawl",Amount-{Total Split},IF(Type="Deposit", Amount-{Total Split})) Does anyo

Hi,We have three main tables.  Client table records have one or many Interaction Table records, which have one or many Outcome records.To make the process smooth for collaborators and to reduce errors, I have a button on the Client record which launches an 'Enter NEW Interaction' form, with the Clients Name (i.e. its record id) pre-filled. Foe exammpleI frequently duplicate the live base to make test/training copies, every time I have to go into the url and manually alter the Enter NEW Interaction form's URL.  (And I have several other buttons performing a similarDoes anyone know a way round this? I would really like to use the forms name, rather than actual record Id.Margaret  

Hi,  I have an issue when using the formula fields in AirTable when using an IF statement.Context: I need the fields to be format as a percentage, or blank if there's an error/infinity.Here is the formula that I want to use in its simplified form, and I can easily format it to return as a percentage. (FYI both fields used in this formula are rollup fields)Sometimes, the values are 0, or blank, causing the data to reflect as such.  (or infinity in some cases)I want the data to reflect as blank. The following  is the formula used, that would have worked fine in excel/sheets.However, AirTable seems to have no idea to read this as a string or a number anymore since I cannot edit the format:Is this intended, if so, is there a way for me to workaround this?I am aware that it is possible to replace the value1 into 0 (instead of "" or ''), but that would cause a problem with another formula down the line.My result end up becoming a long string of decimal that is hard to vis

Hi,I have two tables that are linked. I have table 1 that consists of the membership information:Email (primary field)Last nameFirst namephoneI have table 2 that adds records after submission of a form. This consists of visits you can do once you are a member: ID (primary field)Email (only field to be filled out in form)Last nameFirst nameDateThe idea is to create records of each visit and it should autocomplete the fields (last name, first name) on table 2 pulling them from table 1 based on the email (matched field). The key here is not to manually select the "link to table 1" field but it should be done automatically.Please I would appreciate any suggestions.

I am running a simple automation to identify birthdays for the upcoming month.  My 'Find records' works beautifully when I test. My second action is to send the list of birthdays to specific managers. The action works, but the email produces a blank message and I know there are hits. What am I missing?Thanks in advance

In my base I got some images saved which I want to use in page designer.I believe I used to be able to use the Image URL in the page designers Image element. It seems still to work for about 24 hours and then the URL becomes invalid (which believe has something do with Airtables new security updates.)However is there still a way to URLs of an image in different attachement fields?

Since manually adding a comment doesn’t go into any existing “fields” of the table, I can’t use trigger to automate this. Can this be achieved using scripts instead?

Hi,I've been using Airtable to track the performance of my company's social media metrics so I can pull out trends based on the topic and format of the posts.The problem is that the data from the posts (e.g. LinkedIn reacts and comments) is not kept up to date because I input it manually. I was wondering if there's any way to automatically pull data on the likes and comments of a certain post from LinkedIn and Twitter into Airtable if I link the relevant post?Please let me know if someone has already asked a similar question, I imagined it'd be a common function people would like but I couldn't find anything online. 🙂

I am trying to create a formal that adds a specific amount of days to a date field. The amount of days varies and is pulled using a lookup field. Initially, I was trying to use the DATEADD function but it doesn't seem to work when the added value is another field instead of a numeric value.The formula I have currently is DATEADD({Submission Date},{Health Plan SLA},"days")The field Health Plan SLA is a lookup field that pulls a number from another tab. I need this number to be what the formula uses.
