Not sure if this is a air-table or zaiper question hopefully someone can explain to me. This is what im trying to do:Uploaded video To frame.io where the name of the video is the same as a Unique ID in airtable ( called Asset ID ) in Airtable search for a field ( Video Edit ) Input text or link  to inform that video has been uploaded I have tried to find the record using a search function and my zap looks ok but when i run it it does not update to the correct field.when i test the last part of my zap ( input text ) it will only place it in the first record and not the one attaching the unique ID i have tried the following SEARCH functions also FIND SEARCH(({Asset ID}))!={Edit}SEARCH(({Asset ID})) = {Edit}not sure if it is that or when i go to set up my action in the RECORD section i am picking the wrong dropdown.i thought it may be “custom” “zap search was found” but didn't work , and i have also tried multiple other options  any input would

Importing into a table (CSV, Excel, Pasted, etc.) with linked records will not allow mapping to linked records. The exact same data can be pasted into the GridView of the table and Airtable will expand the table to include the record count of the pasted data and correctly add the records to the table. The values for the linked records exist as would be expected by the paste into the GridView working properly. I am I doing something wrong? Thanks, Don

Hi,I'm working with the API, and when trying to create or update a SingleSelect field with a new select option, which was not exist, I get the following error:{"error":{"type":"INVALID_MULTIPLE_CHOICE_OPTIONS","message":"Insufficient permissions to create new select option \\"\\"v0.65.1\\"\\""}}%I set my personal API key with all of the available permission, i tried editing the field's permissions and set it with:* Allow this field to be set in records created through forms* Allow this field to be modified by automationsbut it didn't work.I didn't find anything useful in the API docs. Can anyone help? 

Hello! I have a base with ingredients, recipes, and meals. I’ve seen similar bases but none that ask this specific question. Airtable Ingredients Example - Airtable Explore the "Ingredients Example" base on Airtable. Meals reference recipes, and recipes reference ingredients. The meals table has a lookup to list all ingredients for the given meal based on the listed recipes for that meal. How do I get the number of times each ingredient has been used based on the meals table?

Hey guys, this is it -I have 2 forms on the site -1. Form for capturing leads (cold)2. Another form at a more advanced stage that captures very hot leads.I have automation in MAKE that actually transfers all the cold leads that come from the first form to the Airtable list.In each line for each lead in Airtable there is a checkbox whose purpose is - did the same lead also fill out details in form 2? (in order to understand if it is a hot lead) because it is also possible to reach form 2 without going through form 1 and therefore I do not want to create an additional column for those who fill out the form 2 but to update in the same column of the lead the person who filled in form 1. Hi Everyone! I have a base with 30 tweets that I'd like to automatically publish everyday. Once I get to the end of those 30 tweets, I'd like to start from the beginning and repost them. I am familiar with the "post a tweet" automation provided by airtable, but I'm unable to find out how to make it restart from the top once it reaches the end of my base.Has anyone figured out how to do this?

I am looking for help, hopefully I can explain this well enough.In my Airtable, I have a multiple select field where you can choose different available mediums.  (Video, animation, poster, pdfs etc). And I want to create another column that automatically changes depending on what is selected.  If video or animation is selected, a V would appear in the column next to it.  If a “poster or PDF” is chosen a G would appear.  I cannot figure out what Formula to use.Basically I want it to be “if this is selected” then “show this”I tried creating a formula column and addedIF(Medium, 'Video/animation', 'V')IF(Medium, 'PDF', 'G')but it doesn't work so I assume i am doing this incorrectly, I'm new to formulas and building these tables, so any help is appreciated. 

Is there a workaround to use rich text markdown for a formula that provides a URL? More context: My formula provides a lengthy URL, and it triggers a slack notification. Would love to mark down so the slack notification doesn’t take up the entire window! Thanks in advance for your advice.

I get served a list of 500 company numbers every weekday at 5 am, i need to have available information for my sales agents by 7.30 am in the morning.This i solve by using an API that collects the information from a government website where i come from. It's the only source available.The API is limited to just one company per request.I have solved this code wise using a for of loop which loops over my table, sends an api fetch request based on the number, then inserts the information, then starts the next loop.The issue I'm facing is the limit of 50 fetch requests pr automation.The only solution i can come up with myself at my current code/situation is to make the automation limited to 50 runs pr automation, then make 10+ scheduled weekday runs.I have access to 50.000 monthly automation runs so that's no issue, but there has to be a better/ More elegant solution than this?Here's an example API link:https://data.brreg.no/enhetsregisteret/api/enheter/929135180/roller?The number marked in

Hi everyone, We have an interesting use case for our company. I am almost 100% certain that what I want to do is impossible to achieve with JotForm, Airtable Forms, Softr Forms and miniExtensions forms. I have a record. The record’s fields are as so: Name, Selected Option (linked field), Type. I am trying to create a form where: a) Selected Option is filtered by the Type field (the selected option record has the same type field which I keep updated so the single select options match) b) The dropdown box in the selection field not only shows the name of the linked field but also an image associated with that linked field in airtable. An example of this would be: Record A Name: Wall Colour Type: Colour Selected Option table has a bunch of records like Blue, Red, Green, Rough Brick, Stainless Steel. It also has a type. I want the Selected Option linked field to only show Blue, Red or Green, since those linked records have the type Colour which matches. However the type may change to ‘Meta

I have an automation which makes a Facebook Pages post.Trigger: when a record gets a PNG added to an attachment field.Action: Make an FB Pages post with the attached PNG file.Odd thing is that the trigger and actions all work in manual testing mode, but when left on autopilot they don't....though occasionally one might (see the bottom of the run history in the pic)Anyone have any success making FB Pages posts w/images included?Any idea how to make an image file type that live automations are happy with?Thanks!

i’m trying to connect a base from airtable to notion via make. i managed to do everything right but on notion, in a files & media property the file is loaded as an attachment and not as an actual file - i can’t figure out why and this way i can’t use that property as a cover in the gallery view. has anyone experienced something like this before? thanks!

Hi all! I’m using part of my AirTable Workspace to track hotel lodging needs for my organization’s yearly event. I have the data built where I assign an attendee to a property and room type, and include their check-in and check-out dates. Is there a formula to pull each night of stay for the date range without me having to manually build out a report listing each night of stay for every individual? Or is there a way this can be built in automations or interfaces? For example, John Smith is checking in on March 22 and checking out on March 24, so his individual nights of stay would be March 22 and March 23. I’m looking to pull this data so I can see what the nightly pick-up is for each property by room type. I started using the day calendar as a sort of “list” of nightly pick up of rooms, but since it shows up on the check out date, it’s not quite accurate. Thanks for any suggestions you may have! I am writing an automation script that takes an input X. I lookup X in a table, and then go on and do stuff with what I've found.But if the lookup comes up empty, (no qualifying records), I want to exit the script. I could do this:if (X was not found in table) {    output.set("error", `${X} was not found`)} else {    // do stuff}But this gets messy. If I need to lookup X, and then Y, and then Z, then each additional lookup results in more indentation of my code. What I'd like to do is this:if (X was not found in table) {    return from script}"return" isn't allowed. Googling has not provided an answer.Is there any way to do what I want?

Hi there, I'm new to Airtable and trying to figure out how everything works. Let's say I have a cell that as the following information I inserted below: Ingredients- 4 salmon fillets- 2 tablespoons of melted butter- 2 tablespoons of olive oil- 4 cloves of minced garlic- 2 tablespoons of freshly-chopped parsley- Salt and pepper- Lemon wedges (optional)Instructions1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.2. Place the salmon fillets onto a baking sheet lined with foil.3. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, and parsley.4. Brush the butter mixture onto the salmon fillets.5. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the fillets.6. Bake the salmon for 20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.7. Serve with lemon wedges, if desired. Enjoy! How can I separate all of the "ingredients" into one cell? And all of the instructions into another?  

Hey friendsI'm trying to create a rating for my leads in the system based on all kinds of parameters - if they watched video 1, if they watched video 2, etc. For some parameters, I want to create 2 stars and some more. As in the example, if the customer is marked V on Facebook, he should receive 4 stars because this indicates a higher rating.It doesn't work for me when I add the most stars.I would appreciate the help and understanding of what I am doing wrong here.Thank you! 

Hi everyone, I've got a set of criteria to score the program length that states the following: "A faculty-led program for any term is 3 points. An interterm program longer than 3 weeks is 3 points. A summer program longer than 6 weeks is 3 points. An interterm program longer than 11 days, but less than three weeks is 2 points. A summer program longer than 21 days, but shorter than 41 days is 2 points. An interterm program shorter than 11 days is 1 point. A summer program shorter than 21 days is 1 point. In translating that to a nested combination of IF(FIND(OR arguments, my syntax got off, or, alternatively, resulted in all points being wiped out or everyone being assigned 3 points. Hello there!  New to AirTable.  On a small website  I have a small Contact Form that is populating data into my table inside of AirTable.  It's all working just fine in a local site (not live yet, but it works)  I only have a few fields, which are getting returned to am email notification automation, but the fields are all showing up in the email notification all squished together and look like this:    Pennyinfo@info.comI'm stuckmondayMy fields are:  Name, Email, Message, and BestDay   So, you can see that the info IS getting to me which is great but how can I get the fields to at least show on a different line in the email I receive?  It's too hard for me to read ;-)!I understand how to use markdown for the rest of the body of the email, but not understanding how to format the actual 'data' that is coming in to me via a contact form on my site after it lands in AirTable??   I tried putting the fields inside of curl

I was making adjustments to an existing interface this evening and when I went to add a new record inside of a linked record field in the interface there was no longer an "Add New Record" button at the bottom of the linked record window.  See screenshots:Original Functionality:  Limited Functionality:Everything is setup the same, and I've tested this in multiple tables.  Was this functionality removed on all new or edited interfaces?  Please help because my sales workflows are using this functionality to operate.

Hi, I'm working on multiple views and 2 tables.When I filter a lookup/rollup, those filters are applied to all the views of that table. Is there any way I can "stop" the filter to only one specific view?I would like to avoid creating multiple tables for each filter.Thank you 🙏

Hi, I think I'm struggling understanding how the Find a Record action works.I'm attempting to create a monthly reminder email that needs to include information populated from a current record. If I use the At a Scheduled Time trigger, I have to use Find a Record to pass the correct information into the automation.Is it correct that it just passes information as a list? So if you're only returning one record (which should be the case with my conditions), then it works as I need it to (for instance, using a field for a link).However, does this mean I cannot use it to populate a file in my email as an attachment? Am I going about this the wrong way?

Actually, I use excell for the calculation (I copy the value column in excell, I make the calculation of the sumup column in excell and then I copy back to the airtable sumup column). Hence, I'd like to know if it exist any function or script that could do this calculation directly in airtable. Thx 

Hi,I'm trying to work out how to display the difference between two dates as weeks, then days.As an example, one of our crew will be away for 9 weeks and 3 days. It is difficult for them to work out how long that is if it's only displayed in days (66) and in weeks it's not accurate enough.If I useDATETIME_DIFF({End Date},{Start Date},'w')Then anything less than one week displays as 0.0, and the extra days are not accounted for.Ideally I'd like to be able to display "9w, 3d".Any help working this out would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I copied this script from the scripting app. I tried to search in topics already but I am going around in circles and still getting errors. I want to copy two fields additional fields from my task template to my tasks. The fields are called Status and Stage. The fields are same names in both tables. They are single select. Can someone help. I added these following lines based on info I could find in topics but I am still receiving “Error: x: Can’t create records: invalid cell value for field ‘Status’. Could not find a choice with that ID or name at main on line 126”

Hello everyone, I would like to have the sum of each column of Table 1 in a row of Table 2. My problem is that on table 2 I did a rollup and a link, so I have to add the clients one by one in the Clients column. Is there a solution so that the Customer column fills automatically when I add a customer in table 1? The ultimate goal of my question is simply to be able to retrieve the sum of the columns Achats - Sous traitants - Salaires Flo - Entrée of Table 1 to be able to make a percentage in an interface. I hope I've been clear enough for you to help me 🙂Thanks to all of you !
