Is there a way to count the number of weekdays between a date range? I am currently using the following formula to count the number of days between the FROM and TO DATE:DATETIME_DIFF({To Date}, {From Date}, 'days')+1 If the date range includes a weekend, I only want to include the number of weekdays. 

I have one column with text in the following format: A Meeting By The River (Album) 3 versions I need to split it into 3 columns 1: the string before the bracket 2: the string between the bracket 3: the string after the bracket

Is there a way to calculate times without using a datetime field? For example, if I have a start time of 11:30am and an end time of 3:30pm, can I use a formula to calculate the difference without using a datetime field?On the surface, I can do this by making my start and end times Duration-type fields, but I'd have to switch to a 24 hour format, which is less readable for me than a 12 hour format (Americans, amirite?). Also, the Start and End times will be used in concatenate formulas, so formatting becomes a real problem (Tuesday 8:30-11:30 becomes Tuesday 30600-41400). 

We have been using Airtable as our internal database and have built some simple scripting extensions to update data from our backend. Every row has an Update button and clicking on it runs the scripting extension showing a dialog box which somewhat creates a bad experience when editing multiple records quickly.Would love a feature to set the extension to run in background or to show a small toast showing whether the run was successful or not, rather than showing the entire dialog box again and again.

I have a client who has submissions to an AT base via jotform that populate into a master 'customer' database. With the business, there are different approvals that occasionally happen that need to be noted. There are multiple events throughout the year, and the client is asking if there is a way to timestamp when they were approved, so that when they are approved, it updates the master database. Furthermore, they would like to be able to search the main database, and when they search for that customer, it will automatically show the approval, and the date of that approval.They would also like to be able to see all events that they have participated in. Now, to throw a wrench in it, they only have 2 events open each registration period, which uses a different jotform for each event, but they all currently populate to the main database. So, I have some columns in one of my bases that are complex formulas working something out based on year. These particular formulas are necessary as there is no quick workaround via rollups etc., it's not pretty - and there is something better involving linked records in the works - but they are doing the job for now. Each of these columns show the data for one calendar year, and on an interface I used a number element to sum the column. This way a member of my team has a tidy way of seeing numbers for previous years (each year column has its own number element).They are all exactly the same column, with the same formula (adjusted for dates), with no options for formatting. I've been able to make four number elements using these going back to 2018.At the start of the year, I duplicated the 2021 column (which has a number element), and adjusted the formula to cover 2022. But this new column is not available to select within the number element Field Summary field list.Does anyone ha

I'm creating an automation in Airtable where the info from each stripe payment comes though. The price comes in without decimals, so I thought it would be easy to add a conditional action that is there isn't a '.' in the dynamic object I could just add it within the automation, but ... its seems to be out of my comfort zone.Is there a Script that someone has to do this?  or another workaround?

I need some help using an IF statement within a CONCATENATE formula. I have tried many permutations but have just not found the right syntax. I have the following fields: AirtableID CompanyName Project Sub-Project Person In the Name field of a table, I want to concatenate these fields as such: If Sub-Project is not NULL, then Name = AirtableID_CompanyName_Sub-Project_Person Else (Sub-Project is NULL), then Name = AirtableID_CompanyName_Project_Person Here is as far as I got, and I know the syntax is not right: CONCATENATE({AirtableID},’’,{CompanyName},’’,IF({Sub-Project} = 0,{Project},{Sub-Project}),’_’,{Person}) Thanks!

Sorry if this is obvious, and I've just been unable to find a solution, but... Is there any way to create a PRIORITY field that changes dynamically? Imagine there are ten projects in a base, with a Priority field numbered 1-10. I now need to add an eleventh project, but this one is more urgent and has a priority of 2 on the list. Currently, I then have to manually change the old Priority 2 to a 3, 3 to a 4 and so on. Is there a way to automate this?

I have a "date paid" date field that I've realized I could automate better by transitioning it to a checkmark (paid?) and a last modified date field. But when I do that I lose all the paid dates paid (which impacts other calculations throughout my table). Is there any way to get around this?

Hey friends, family, and everythign in between,So, I have a table embedded into a landing page, and like, overall, I am pretty happy with it! That being said, there is usually a footer in an embedded table that says "view larger table" in the bottom right hand corner of said table. For whatever reason, mine doesn't show up. As a workaround, I have implemented a button that brings you to the airtable website view of it, but would like that little footer back in case people need it, or to at least have an option for such both above and below the table. Any thoughts or insights as to why it might not be showing up? Let me know!

Hello everyone! I have a formula (below) that calculates a Monthly Rental Fee Renewal Date that is 45 days out from the Staging Date. For one client, I want her date to be calculated at 90 days out.  How can I do that? I know I need an identifier field and I think Client Name is it (file attached). I am creating a dashboard interface for a donor management base.  There are fundraising campaigns which have receive donations towards a goal.  If the goal is, for instance, $1,000 and I receive $100, that's 10% of my goal and I'd like the dashboard donut chart to move the colored section up to 10%.Is this possible???  Thanks!

This is a messy question i agree... let me rephrase it:I got 2 sheets: Sheet A , Sheet BIn Sheet A there is one field called MONEY(all kinds of money record) and one field called USER (somebody's nickname like P or M or E)What I'd like to archive is in Sheet B's field named NOTE, it can automatically look up in SheetA's MONEY and sum every data if it's field USER is P.Basically it can be done by one link field, one lookup field and a roll up field, but need to update manually if anyone add anything in the data source sheet (SheetA)I guess my question is that is there any way to do that automatically like in excel? I have a Lookup field called 'Call Result' in my Contact table for my Touchpoints table's 'Call Result' column - which is a drop down. I have a view called 'Hit Lister' and I would like to filter records where I have encountered - for example - 8 voicemails in a row. Hey,Im currently working on a resource planning tool and im struggeling to make it work like intended.The way it works is, im creating some jobs with a resource linked and a start and end date.What i want is a script to check every new record and if the dateinterval is overlapping several workweeks(Monday-friday) it's splitting the record into several other records with same resource and name but date is a maximum of 5 days inside the same workweek.E.g. record "job1" with start date 15 december 2022 and end date 22 december 2022 with resource George is split into:Record "job2" start= 15 december 2022, end = 16 decemberRecord "job3" start=19 december 2022, end = 22 december"job1" is supposed to be deleted then.If someone could send me in the right direction, i would be grateful!

I have a list of donations made to an organization.  I have created a Dashboard Interface to report monthly donations received.  I would like to add a number widget that sums the number of all donations received in the current month.  I've already worked out how to filter to the current month, but I cannot find any option within the number widget to allow me to SUM.  I can only display the Record Count or a Field Summary.  Yet I have seen the post linked below that has the ability to do what I want:https://community.airtable.com/t5/interface-designer/interface-cannot-use-formula-result-in-number-element/td-p/76935What am I missing???  TIA!
