Hello alls,I have a sum up column as shown in the picture above. Actually, I use excell for the calculation (I copy the value column in excell, I make the calculation of the sumup column in excell and then I copy back to the airtable sumup column). Hence, I'd like to know if it exist any function or script that could do this calculation directly in airtable. Thx 

Hi,I'm trying to work out how to display the difference between two dates as weeks, then days.As an example, one of our crew will be away for 9 weeks and 3 days. It is difficult for them to work out how long that is if it's only displayed in days (66) and in weeks it's not accurate enough.If I useDATETIME_DIFF({End Date},{Start Date},'w')Then anything less than one week displays as 0.0, and the extra days are not accounted for.Ideally I'd like to be able to display "9w, 3d".Any help working this out would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I copied this script from the scripting app. I tried to search in topics already but I am going around in circles and still getting errors. I want to copy two fields additional fields from my task template to my tasks. The fields are called Status and Stage. The fields are same names in both tables. They are single select. Can someone help. I added these following lines based on info I could find in topics but I am still receiving “Error: x: Can’t create records: invalid cell value for field ‘Status’. Could not find a choice with that ID or name at main on line 126”

Hello everyone, I would like to have the sum of each column of Table 1 in a row of Table 2. My problem is that on table 2 I did a rollup and a link, so I have to add the clients one by one in the Clients column. Is there a solution so that the Customer column fills automatically when I add a customer in table 1? The ultimate goal of my question is simply to be able to retrieve the sum of the columns Achats - Sous traitants - Salaires Flo - Entrée of Table 1 to be able to make a percentage in an interface. I hope I've been clear enough for you to help me 🙂Thanks to all of you !   

Hi community,I have this problem : In a grid view, a table is sorted manually. After each opening, the order is kept.A script fetches the records of the table, and delivers them in alphabetical order, not in the manual order.I don't add any sort param - like 'sorts: [ {field: "someField"} ]' - I cannot figure out a 'handy' workaround... The option to read on a sorted priority field quickly becomes tedious, time consuming, and requiers a lot of energy...Thanks in advance if you can let me know how i can workaround this behavior.

I'm trying to randomly assign one of four Group IDs (AlphaGroup, BetaGroup, GammaGroup, DeltaGroup) to all existing/new records in my database whether they're imported in bulk or added manually. I've been using this formula—however since some of my records will be imported in bulk, their created time remains the same and gives them all the same Group ID). I also have First Name, Last Name, Email, and other fields that could potentially be useful here. Any idea how to address this? Hello everybody! I am trying to create some buttons in a table with a lot of different information. It looks like this:   The issue is: right now every button leads to the same URL. I want each (or at least) some of the buttons to direct to other URLs within the same table. Isn't that possible?

Hi, I'm trying to do an inner join between two columns and print in a new column (only the attachments that are in common in both columns). Every day I update all of my clients on the items I need from them so I can keep their projects on track. Having separate records for every single subtask is overkill so a single record is the parent record and I use the rich text check boxes “”/“” to keep track of the subtasks. For example: As the clients completes subtasks, I manually draft up an email or text with what is still needed. So I’m looking for a way to filter out subtask #2 and only leave me with: Subtask 1 Subtask 3 Any ideas?

Hey friendsI have a column of customer full names.I would like to separate this column into 2 separate columns - one for first names and the other for last names.I used the following formula (screenshot attached) to separate the first and last names, but there is a problem:If someone entered only their first name without a last name, the column remains empty and I don't understand why.I would be very happy for your help in this matter!Thank you 

I am new here, so please forgive me if I ask a question that might have been asked before.I keep track of my software subscriptions with Airtable, some are monthly based and some are yearly. Therefore, I created a single selection field with two options (monthly, yearly) and a date field that shows when the subscriptions are due. Now I would like to automatically update the due date after it has passed under the condition of monthly or yearly. I had something in mind like: IF ({subscription} = "yearly", NOW(), DATEADD( *1, 'year')({subscription} = "monthly", NOW(), DATEADD( *1, 'month')I guess it's terribly wrong, since it never worked 😭 

My record has a field that's named  'Automation history' which is where i want my scripts to keep a log whenever it does some changes, i keep this to identify errors etc. But the issue is that it get's replaced, is there any way to .push that value there instead of overwrite? In the new Community app, is it not possible for authors of posts to edit their posts after they're published? Added 1 minute later: Hmm. I just now looked at the Comments Options and I found an Edit Post command. But that command isn't there for a post I published just a short while ago? What's the difference? Do I get just 120 seconds to edit it or something like that? 

For some reason I can't insert the fields from the Find Records step as a token in the email body. Am I missing something obvious or is this a bug? I tested the Find Records step and it successfully returns records and shows me the related fields

Hi All,I have a Calendar table within a base that we use to assign calendar events to Airtable users. We also share the calendar link with everyone so the calendar will populate on their iPhone calendar and such.  Because of this, we want to show what event is assigned to which user in the calendar event ID (labeled "Event" in the screenshot below).  We currently do this with a concatenate formula but it will show each users full name, which makes the Event ID very long.  Current Event formula is as follows and works fine: CONCATENATE(IF({Tentative?}=1,"(t) ",""),Project, " ",{Service Call}," ", RMA," ",Title, " ", {User (Assigned To)})In short, I can not find a way in which to swap out each users name for their initials in the form of custom text (not just taking the first and last initial from the users name since two users have the same initials "JR").  I am looking for some sort of formula to insert into my existing {User (Assigned To)} spot in the for

Hey guysI have a brain drain problem with how I should set up a dynamic date formula, I have 2 tables in a base, one for odd weeks and one for even weeks. They both just contain 5 records, one for each workday. I have separate fields where the current date is shown, current weekday, current week number and if the current week is odd or even (it shows 0 for even and 1 for even). Now to the tricky part.I want to show in a field in the even table (week 50), lets say today Wednesday the 14th of dec. I want todays date to be visible in that field, on Tuesday the 13th should be visible and on tomorrow the 15th and so on. And I also want if the dates in the odd table shows next weeks date, and then when it becomes an odd week the even table updates the dates to the week after the odd. Any of you geniuses have a solution in mind?

If I embed a view on a website and leave the "Show view controls" enabled, then a visitor adjusts a filter or sort criteria in their browser, does that impact other viewers? Or are the view controls unique to that visitor for that browser session?Essentially, I want to know if one person changing a setting impacts the base itself, or just that visitor's experience.
