Hello community, I’m using an Airtable form and Make’s (formerly Integromat) Airtable module “Watch responses”. Every submission trigger the hook twice within 5-6s. Has anyone experienced this or an idea of how to avoid the duplication? Thanks!

Hi folks, I’m using filterByFormula param to filter records of a table but I’m able to select for a specific date. Below and example: request: https://api.airtable.com/v0/appFOOBAR/Spese?filterByFormula=AND({Importo}=111.22,{Data}='2022-04-01') response: { "records": [] } while with the request below I got a result: https://api.airtable.com/v0/appFOOBAR/Spese?filterByFormula=AND({Importo}=111.22,not({Data}='2022-04-01')) response: { "records": [ { "id": "recXXXX", "createdTime": "2022-05-24T09:38:50.000Z", "fields": { "Tipologia": "Spesa", "Data": "2022-04-01", "Importo": 111.22, "Name": "Prova 1" } } ] } so the example using not operator shows that there’s a record with Data=2022-04-01, I don’t understand why this record isn’t extracted using the first request.

I want to make formula that tells you in what Season we are. I have the seasons divided as follows: Summer = July-Oct Spring = Mar-June Winter = Nov-Feb I have a column which shows the number of the month we’re in with help of the formula MONTH(TODAY()) Then in the column next to it I made a nested IF statement which should determine which the season we’re in based on the division I set above, but it’s only showing the season ‘Summer’ when the month column has a number between 7 and 9 (July-September). With the other month numbers it show no result (i.e. a blank cell). Here’s the IF statement I’m using: IF( {Current Month} >= 7, IF({Current Month} <= 10, 'Summer', IF({Current Month} >= 3, IF({Current Month} <= 6, 'Spring', IF({Current Month} >= 10, IF({Current Month} <= 12, IF({Current Month} >= 1, IF({Current Month} <= 2, 'Winter') ))))))) It would be great if you could help me out. Hello, I use the timeline view on this table to manage my rentals : in the column “Grouped By” I have all my chambers, and each record is a reservation. The chamber are Cottage 1, Cottage 2… until Cottage 20) But, when sorted A-Z, it do not includes the numbers : Instead of : Cottage 1, Cottage 2, Cottage 3, etc… I have : Cottage 1, Cottage 2, Cottage 11… What can i do to sort the column “Grouped by” from A-Z and 1-9 ? Greetings Airtable Community, Several weeks ago I received great assistance with a formula quandary involving the combination of two multi-select fields: {College(s)} & IF({Department(s)}, " and " & {Department(s)}) This formula assumed that the {College(s)} field would always be populated. Unfortunately, as we’ve progressed, I’ve discovered this will not always be the case—there will be rare instances were the {College(s)} field will be empty. In these cases, the formula returns: “and Athletics” instead of just “Athletics.” Is it possible to adjust the formula so that it will return just the name of the department (i.e. the " and " will not appear)? Hi, I want to query and filter a table based on several filters sent via the URI as parameters. I found the Airtable API doc suggesting that I use the AT API encoder and use FIlterByFormula. I tried it and it all works perfectly. but for only one formula. meaning it only works for one column. but I have around 8 columns I want to query. How can I add more than one FilterByFormula in the URI? Hello, I want to be able to import transactions from Quickbooks, and link those transactions to a Client record from another table (Clients) in the base (relational). The first issue that I ran into was having an automation update multiple records at once. It seems the solution to this is a script. Hello! Context I am trying to develop a base to effectively manage project management and task delegation for my company. We create art assets for clients, where each asset goes through multiple stages of production before final delivery. This is somewhat standard project management, where each “Asset” roughly corresponds to a “Project” and each stage of production corresponds to a “Task.” We offer a semi-specific menu of asset types, so each asset type may also have different stages of production (and therefore, different associated “tasks”). Hi! I’ ve encountered a possible Airtable quirk and was wondering if anyone has a hint how to work around it. I have a Long Text Field with RTF enabled. In this field I have RTF formated text / Markdown text. In a formula field I’m trying to search this field for Blood Type: AB and if found output AB. Nothing strange so far. Only issue is that no such instance is found and the cell remains empty. Hi there! I’m losing my mind trying to figure out a formula for something I thought would be quite simple. Basically I have one field into which we input a URL (which comes from our CRM). I want to extract a particular portion of this and then add it to text in another field. I have a form that prefills a unique ID for each customer. They then need to select an event that they are signing up for from a drop down menu linked to another tables primary key. The problem I am running into is that I cannot autofill the event they are signing up for and I really want to limit the view on the events to events that have not occured yet, or even better yet, event that triggered this form being sent out. Eventually there will be 50-100 events and I do not want them all to show up, and I don’t want to have to delete events etiher. Is it possible to run an automation that sends all information from events to a past event table that has the same options and then delete the event record form the ongoing events field? Any other thoughts or suggestions would be greatly apreciated. Justin

I’m not very sure this is achievable or not. Basically I want to automatically order all records sequentially all the time even i Reorder them. I have auto-number field. when I insert new record anywhere or move existing record I want to maintain the sequence, but that was not happening in Airtable. Am I missing any formulae or anything else?

Hi all! So I’m trying to make things a little easier for our Training Team and automating their Class Agenda creation process. Currently I have 3 tables in the base: Classes, Agendas, and Class Agenda Templates. Using automations, I am able to select a template in the Classes table (through a linked record field) that generates all agenda items for the given class in the Agenda table. Each agenda item created is also linked to the specific class through the linked record field. I’ve gotten as far as you can see in the screenshot of the Agenda table below. I’m trying to figure out a solution that will allow me to use the Start Time (given) of the first Agenda Item along with the Duration field to generate the start and end time for each topic throughout the day. I’m aware that I will most likely need to create and use formula fields as well. Any help is appreciated!

Hi there! I’m trying to develop a base to manage my company’s work and break out tasks effectively. We create artistic assets for clients, where each asset involves multiple stages of production (each stage roughly corresponding to a discrete task). I’ve created in my base an “Assets” table and a linked “Tasks” table - for ease of use, I was in search of an automated way to batch create multiple records linking “Tasks” to specific assets. I found the “Create child linked records script,” which is a great solution for this. However, this script only creates empty records (excepted for the linked field) - after records are batch created, I need to go in and manually enter the stage of production for each new task record from a single-select field. I’m wondering if there’s a way to further automate this function by “templating” the script so that it creates a record for each production stage? This would be especially helpful, as we create multiple different asset types that involve differ

Hi there, I have a base with the following tables Issue Log (All incoming issues raised) Issue type (All issues and how many times the can occur before an action is taken) Users (All the users linked to a specific issue) I am trying to do the following. a) User fills out the form logging a specific type of issue for a specific user. b) I am looking at the number of times the specific type of issue can be logged before an action needs to be taken. Where I am having trouble is the following I want to know for that user how many times the specific issue has been linked to them to determine wether to take an action. Ideally I’d like to do thing using something like a COUNTIFS based on the user and the number of times the specific issue being logged has occurred for that user. The two fields I want to conduct the rollup for Rather than having the total issues related for a specific shopper I want the number of times that specific issue has occurred for a shopper. I tried to use csv import but apparently it doesn’t support importing to long text fields. I have 1100 records I need to populate a long text field for and I would prefer to not attempt a copy and paste here with such a wide margin for error. Has anybody scripted this? I have the data to import in both xlsx and csv format, ready to go, just need to find a way to get it there intelligently and don’t see anything on the market right now.

Hi Folks, I have a Zapier Zap that is working beautifully to create invoices in Craftmypdf and then email them, but I have noticed a problem. The Airtable view I get the data from has a rollup field that is a sum of charges in another table, a currency filed that contains any money due from previous months and a formula filed that adds those 2. In Zapier I use the dictionary function to assign the value in the field Due to a key, also named due but the value is no longer 51.90 but 51.900000000000006 Is Airtable passing this or is Zapier corrupting it? What can i do about it?

Hi, For each record, I have a start date (Date de parution) and an end date (Date 6 mois). They unique to every record. I want to count how many we have sold of every record within those date (Sales are in the Ventes 2021 tab, which is already link to my working tab). I cannot filter by a Date field, it seems.
