Hey guys, I need some help and can’t find de answer for this! I have some projects and tasks, but each one have a kind of “weight” in certain steps, like: When a task is in To Do, it have a weight of 5% When a task is in Doing, it have a weight of 40% When a task is in Validation, it have a weight of 5% When a task is in Done, it have a weight of 50% When I sum all of them, the result is 100% I don’t know if it’s clear. Hello, I am tryig to setup automatic CSV import of our product catalog to Airtable. Every morning it should update in case there are changes in prices or stuff. I was able to setup the Make.com (Integromat) scenario to: Get the CSV from FTP Parse the CSV And I can even create new records in airtable sucesfully BUT We use our codes for every product (and it is unique). I amy trying to setup that it will “Create new” record if it doesnt exist and “Update” if it does. I am trying to use “Upsert a Record” in Make.com scenario. But that only let me to pair it with Airtable “Record ID”… which the CSV of course can’t have. Does anyone figured out how to pair the records by OUR id? (which is IN the CSV and also Airtable first column) Thanks! Matt

Hello! I’m working with a base that has a record of all our organization’s projects, and I’m trying to design a project-level dashboard where people can go in, select the project they want from the record picker, and see all the relevant info for that project. I have already set up the record picker and added some key project fields, but also want to include a timeline element based on key dates. To do this, I’ve tried clicking on Add element > All elements > Timeline and adding it to the dashboard. The problem is that this displays a timeline for all projects, and is not filtered to the project already selected in the record picker. Is there a way to link my record picker to the timeline element? I tried editing the filter on the timeline element and connecting the record picker as a filter element, but that doesn’t seem to be doing anything. Thanks!

Hello Airtable community :slightly_smiling_face: First of all, apologize if I missed something, I’ve tried to find a way -as usual- before posting here. This seems so obvious that I can hardly believe it’s not possible … or I am totally wrong about how to use Airtable ! A few months ago, when discovering AirTable, I separated things on multiple bases within our workspace. Now that I have a better understanding of our needs, I would like to gather various bases, adding new tabs … but from what I see, using “+Add or import” only allows to create an empty table or to sync data from another table. I can’t import an existing “tab” from another base. Sure I could simply copy/paste records, but doing this, I’d lose the views I set up for the tables I’d like to import. I’d need to do this all the more that I’ve recently discovered Image MarkUp extension, that we badly need, and it seems the only way to get what we want, is to get our various bases in multiple tabs. I keep attendance with airtable. I would like my clients to be able to request a copy of their attendance and see it automatically. Ideally they would go to a website link “please show me my attendance” and it would show them their attendance for a range of dates. Is this possible? If so, how? Thank you.

I am having trouble figuring out how to adjust my automation so that Airtable emails all of the attachments in a field versus just the first attachment it sees upon a condition being fulfilled. Sometimes there’s only one file to attach, whereas other times there are multiple files to attach. It takes time to upload all attachments, but my email is triggered faster than the uploads finish. Is there any way to ensure that the automation is triggered after a certain delay after files are uploaded? It needs to happen as needed (it cannot be scheduled for a specific time of day).

I’m working on a fun, friends and family base for recording daily quiz results (Wordle etc.). The idea is that people can use an iOS shortcut to parse their score and past it to an Airtable base using the API. The eventual goal is to build a friends and family league for these types of games and maybe use interfaces to display the league. I’ve got the shortcut working for the most part in so much as I have game name, the game #, date and number of attempts to successfully get the answer working. However I thought it would be nice to bring through the visual representation of the attempts - this is the bit normally displayed using emoji. Hello! I have a formula for a “status field” that keeps tripping me up. I have tried multiple ways and can get parts of it to work, but not all. Undoubtedly I’m a comma or similar away from the solution, but by now I’ve tangled myself so far in my own head that I have to admit defeat and humbly ask for assistance. I have the following columns that should be considered in the formula: {End Date} = Formula field {BiU} = Checkbox field {Last Shared} = Date field {Next Share} = Formula field What I want to achieve is: If {BiU} is NOT checked = ‘-’ If {BiU} is checked AND TODAY() is after {End Date} = :white_check_mark: If {BiU} is checked AND TODAY() is BEFORE {Last Shared} and {End Date} = :ballot_box_with_check: If {BiU} is checked AND TODAY() is AFTER {Last Shared}, but BEFORE {End Date} = :link: Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings wise ones! I have a base to track family medical history which includes a Doctors table and a Dr Appointment table. All appointments in the Dr Appointment table are linked to a doctor in the Doctors table. This includes past appointments and upcoming scheduled ones. In the Doctors table I would like one field where the date of the next appointment is calculated and shown and one where the most recent appointment is calculated and shown. How do I write a formula/rollup that looks at only the past or only the future dates and chooses the last of the past or next of the future? I’ve created fields calculating the appointment dates from TODAY if that helps. Thank you!

I need to make a automation that will reflect the date I update a Status field on my table to ‘Filed, Letter Received’. These are the two ways I tried, but i’m not sure what I’m doing wrong in both situations. Please help?

There doesn’t seem to be a way to create a new record with Interface Designer other than the button attached to the record picker. This is too bad because the record list is an elegant navigation element, but it’s redundant if you add a record picker pointed to the same table. And although there may be a good reason for this, they don’t sync. Also, unlike other elements, you can’t delete a record list, so it looks like I’ll have to create a new Interface from scratch. Someone please tell me I missed these. :fearful:

Hi folks, I’m using filterByFormula param to filter records of a table but I’m able to select for a specific date. I want to make formula that tells you in what Season we are. I have the seasons divided as follows: Summer = July-Oct Spring = Mar-June Winter = Nov-Feb I have a column which shows the number of the month we’re in with help of the formula MONTH(TODAY()) Then in the column next to it I made a nested IF statement which should determine which the season we’re in based on the division I set above, but it’s only showing the season ‘Summer’ when the month column has a number between 7 and 9 (July-September). With the other month numbers it show no result (i.e. a blank cell). Hello, I use the timeline view on this table to manage my rentals : in the column “Grouped By” I have all my chambers, and each record is a reservation. The chamber are Cottage 1, Cottage 2… until Cottage 20) But, when sorted A-Z, it do not includes the numbers : Instead of : Cottage 1, Cottage 2, Cottage 3, etc… I have : Cottage 1, Cottage 2, Cottage 11… What can i do to sort the column “Grouped by” from A-Z and 1-9 ? Greetings Airtable Community, Several weeks ago I received great assistance with a formula quandary involving the combination of two multi-select fields: {College(s)} & IF({Department(s)}, " and " & {Department(s)}) This formula assumed that the {College(s)} field would always be populated. Unfortunately, as we’ve progressed, I’ve discovered this will not always be the case—there will be rare instances were the {College(s)} field will be empty. In these cases, the formula returns: “and Athletics” instead of just “Athletics.” Is it possible to adjust the formula so that it will return just the name of the department (i.e. the " and " will not appear)? Hi, I want to query and filter a table based on several filters sent via the URI as parameters. I found the Airtable API doc suggesting that I use the AT API encoder and use FIlterByFormula. I tried it and it all works perfectly. but for only one formula. meaning it only works for one column. but I have around 8 columns I want to query. How can I add more than one FilterByFormula in the URI? Hello! Context I am trying to develop a base to effectively manage project management and task delegation for my company. We create art assets for clients, where each asset goes through multiple stages of production before final delivery. This is somewhat standard project management, where each “Asset” roughly corresponds to a “Project” and each stage of production corresponds to a “Task.” We offer a semi-specific menu of asset types, so each asset type may also have different stages of production (and therefore, different associated “tasks”). Hi! I’ ve encountered a possible Airtable quirk and was wondering if anyone has a hint how to work around it. I have a Long Text Field with RTF enabled. In this field I have RTF formated text / Markdown text. In a formula field I’m trying to search this field for Blood Type: AB and if found output AB. Nothing strange so far. Only issue is that no such instance is found and the cell remains empty. I want to extract a particular portion of this and then add it to text in another field. I have a form that prefills a unique ID for each customer. They then need to select an event that they are signing up for from a drop down menu linked to another tables primary key. The problem I am running into is that I cannot autofill the event they are signing up for and I really want to limit the view on the events to events that have not occured yet, or even better yet, event that triggered this form being sent out. Eventually there will be 50-100 events and I do not want them all to show up, and I don’t want to have to delete events etiher. Is it possible to run an automation that sends all information from events to a past event table that has the same options and then delete the event record form the ongoing events field? Any other thoughts or suggestions would be greatly apreciated. Justin
