I have a pretty complex string of nested IF statements that appear as bulleted items. If the string returns anything at all, I need it to display with a title at the top “Pending Items:”. If it returns nothing at all, the title should also not appear. There is no way to add the current field title into it’s own formula, so I’m not quite sure how to approach this.

Hi. I’d like to write a script where I change the formula of a formula field when a record is updated. Is this possible? I need this because I need all my values in a column to be the same date, so I configured this field to be: DATETIME_PARSE(“01/07/2022”, “DD/MM/YYYY”). But I need this date to be changed by my user through the dashboard (by editing a specific record). So I’d like to run an script that changes this formula, replacing the date part (“01/07/2022”) for the new one, picked by my user, so my entire column will get the new date value. Anyone can help with this?

Hi So I have a formula: SET_TIMEZONE(NOW(),‘Europe/London’) This should return the current time in London. However it is out by 1 hour. Currently it is 15:28 but the formula returns 14:28. Is this because airtable is not aware of British Summer Time? Can this be fixed?

Hi there! Still learning how to make full use of formulas and write more useful IF() statements. In this case, I’d like to flag tasks that should have been started but haven’t been or that haven’t been marked finished after their deadline is either today or has already passed as “Delayed” (and otherwise are “On Schedule”) Of note is that my Status field is a single-select field, so not sure if that “=” is what’s throwing this off or if it’s just fundamentally way off-base. Any help is appreciated! I’m trying to write a formula that says. If {Inspection Date} is not blank and the number is greater than 730, then “No” or If {Inspection Date} is not blank and less than 730 then “Yes”. I keep getting hung up with the blank fields. This is my current formula: IF({Inspection Date Formula}!= BLANK(),AND({Inspection Date Formula}>730,“No”,“Yes”)). The output is now a 1 for NO and a 0 for Yes. Blank fields are still blank which is what I want. How do I get the 1 and 0 to say No and Yes?

Hello ! I’m looking for a solution to find the different strings in one fret and erase them in another. For the moment it looks like this: REGEX_REPLACE(Concat, Del,"")) But it doesn’t work if in “Del” I put: 8hKitchen 9hRoom And in Concat 9hRoom 10hDiner 8hKitchen 11hBathroom I would like to delete: “8hKitchen” and “9hRoom” (but it can also be of other occurrence, more or less.) I’ve made this datetimediff formula with two lookup values that are both formatted in the way of date with the same time zones. Lots of the values are accurate, but some values are very off… I’ve attached screenshots here for reference. The most_recent_sold_date is a lookup from a rollup value, but I would think it would still work in the formula.

Howdy, I have a database that deals with inventory for serialized items. For each item, I need to know when they have been found to be in-stock. Here’s what my setup looks like today: Records are items uniquely identified by a serial number One link-to field is Inv_Seen In which collects values each month that that item has been present for. As an example, one record will have been “Seen In: 2022-06” which means it was seen in June 2022. I manually type “2022-06” for each item. This setup is working fine, but requires a lot of typing the same exact thing over and over again Here’s my “dream” setup that I’d like help writing a script to achieve: Records are uniquely identified by a serial number One link-to field is Inv_Seen In and collects values… BUT… …There is ALSO a button field called Inv_In Stock? whose action is “Run Script”. Good morning! Does anyone have any idea what will happen to interfaces created for free accounts once they (the interfaces) are no longer in beta? I have a client with the Legacy Free plan and I don’t want to set them up with a bunch of interfaces unless they’re going to be able to keep having access to them. I am new to Airtable. I am on free tier now. I have an extension to run a script - essentially for lookup. I am using a script for lookup as my base needs two conditions for reference and I cannot use the native Lookup functionality. My issue is that the script works perfectly for the first 15 records. The script stops working from record 16 onwards (I have total 29 records currently). To check whether there was anything wrong in records 16-29 that was causing trouble, I copied the base, deleted the first 15 records and ran the script. The script worked perfectly in the copied base on the remaining records (erstwhile record no. 15-29). I am quite perplexed. Can anyone guide me why is this happening. I checked if I had exceed the record limit. The total records across tables in my base adds up to ~600. Thanks in advance for helping

Is there a way to quickly see all of the different values in a field, similar to how you can click to filter on a column in Excel and see all of the possible options (similar to screenshot from Excel below)? As an example, I have a field that is mostly blank but has a few records with varied single line text data. I want to quickly see what those different single line text lines are to see if I want to filter on any of them, but they’re not consistent enough to make it a single select field. For another example, I have a field of various dates and would like to filter by certain dates, but don’t know all of the choices off the top of my head. Is there a way to quickly see the list of choices without creating a separate view or using a pivot table? Again, I could choose a type of ‘single select field’ but it doesn’t organize the dates nicely to see by year/month/day like you can see when clicking to filter values in Excel. Thanks!

Hi all Here is the challenge I need to solve - I track some small time investments for an investor club in companies. i.e. records are the company names (Apple, Netflix, etc.) Fields are James $ Invested and Adam $ Invested James invested $100 in Apple Adam invested $50 in Apple and Adam also invested $50 in Netflix I have a formula field that sums up the total amount invested in each company (e.g. Apple is $150 ($100+$50) and Netflix is just $50. I got a notice from airtable. my records are over 1200. and I counted all records in each table in 1 base. (1 includes sync table from another base). my detailed questions are below. Is airtable import all records when I sync records from another base even if I filtered some records? Is there any other hidden things I need to know when I count records. I counted all current records and all synced records, but still 100 records difference between my count and airtable count.

I have 2 date columns that are only completed on some projects. I need this rolled up to show the MIN of each of these dates on another table. Arrayunique shows the value, but its not a date, its text. Any other formula like if value then min will only show 0. Essentially any time I add Min to the formula it is showing 0 because of the blank cells.

I am creating a base to keep track of a collection for insurance purposes. I have the list of items in one table and then I have a checklist of what I need for each item in another table all in the same base. I want to copy the items that are in the main table over to the checklist table’s main field dynamically. The main table is already a mile long column-wise, so I didn’t want to put the checklist in the same table. I thought about just using another view, but…it junks up my table, even though you can hide fields. Unfortunately, the type of field the primary field can be is severely limited, but it is able to be a formula field. So I was wondering if there was a formula that could use to dynamically copy/update the primary field with the items in my main table. For example, you can display items from another column with a formula field by simply using the formula: {FieldNameHere} Is it possible to “call” on another table? Hi!! I am new to airtable(using it from last 6 days). I want to get notification whenever my partners add the data in a table but problem is that whenever they upload the data, they add more that 100 records in that table at a time and I got that same number of notifications. But I need this notification otherwise I have to check table daily whether someone has upload the data or not… So I just want a single slack or email notification if records are added on that Day/Hour.

Hello airtable community, I have a query, I would like to know how I can do so that a button can have more than one link when pressing and that activates a pre-filled form. I share images of someone who has been able to do this that I mention. in image 1 it shows that it has the gallery view and below is the button and it is marked when you click on the first button it sends it to the url with the pre-filled form that is marked in image 2, and finally when you click Clicking the following button sends you to another url in image 3 with the pre-filled form. Actually, I have a field “School Name” that can contain duplicate values. There is a condition that the id should be the same for duplicate values. So how can I do this without taking the help of another table? if there is some script, please share as I am new to Airtable.

Hi All, i am using airtable with some of my clients and i set up some automations as well, e.g. for checkboxes like “approval” and stuff. Now that i am trying to setup interfaces i am wondering how i can lead a user to the interfaces. For example - i have a table with a checkbox which i am ticking myself for an approval of my own work - tthis triggers an automation and my client receives a mail where he is leaded to a record so he can approve it too. Unfortunately it always opens the original table and not my newly build interface. what am i doing wrong? Thanks in advance -M

I have some projects and tasks, but each one have a kind of “weight” in certain steps, like: When a task is in To Do, it have a weight of 5% When a task is in Doing, it have a weight of 40% When a task is in Validation, it have a weight of 5% When a task is in Done, it have a weight of 50% When I sum all of them, the result is 100% I don’t know if it’s clear. Hello, I am tryig to setup automatic CSV import of our product catalog to Airtable. Every morning it should update in case there are changes in prices or stuff. I was able to setup the Make.com (Integromat) scenario to: Get the CSV from FTP Parse the CSV And I can even create new records in airtable sucesfully BUT We use our codes for every product (and it is unique). I amy trying to setup that it will “Create new” record if it doesnt exist and “Update” if it does. I am trying to use “Upsert a Record” in Make.com scenario. But that only let me to pair it with Airtable “Record ID”… which the CSV of course can’t have. Does anyone figured out how to pair the records by OUR id? (which is IN the CSV and also Airtable first column) Thanks! Matt

Hello! I’m working with a base that has a record of all our organization’s projects, and I’m trying to design a project-level dashboard where people can go in, select the project they want from the record picker, and see all the relevant info for that project. I have already set up the record picker and added some key project fields, but also want to include a timeline element based on key dates. To do this, I’ve tried clicking on Add element > All elements > Timeline and adding it to the dashboard. The problem is that this displays a timeline for all projects, and is not filtered to the project already selected in the record picker. Is there a way to link my record picker to the timeline element? I tried editing the filter on the timeline element and connecting the record picker as a filter element, but that doesn’t seem to be doing anything. Thanks!

Hello Airtable community :slightly_smiling_face: First of all, apologize if I missed something, I’ve tried to find a way -as usual- before posting here. This seems so obvious that I can hardly believe it’s not possible … or I am totally wrong about how to use Airtable ! A few months ago, when discovering AirTable, I separated things on multiple bases within our workspace. Now that I have a better understanding of our needs, I would like to gather various bases, adding new tabs … but from what I see, using “+Add or import” only allows to create an empty table or to sync data from another table. I can’t import an existing “tab” from another base. Sure I could simply copy/paste records, but doing this, I’d lose the views I set up for the tables I’d like to import. I’d need to do this all the more that I’ve recently discovered Image MarkUp extension, that we badly need, and it seems the only way to get what we want, is to get our various bases in multiple tabs. I keep attendance with airtable. I would like my clients to be able to request a copy of their attendance and see it automatically. Ideally they would go to a website link “please show me my attendance” and it would show them their attendance for a range of dates. Is this possible? If so, how? Thank you.
