Hello! Does anyone know how you can transform a week number and a year number to a date?

Hi, I have a base for all of our book projects. Each book get a tab in which I work with the Gantt view. Can I do a sync of all the tabs into a new tab with the same Projects base to see all the Gantt view at once or should I record link somehow? Thank you.

Hi all, I have a problem with a project i am carrying out. I have a table A. with a X record which is linked to a field Y in table B and field Z in table C. After I have a table D. This records are linked to a field in table A. So , records in table D , are linked indirectly to table B and C. Now i have a table E, which is an input record to control hours. When I add a record with a field linked to table D, I can add a field with a lookup function, to show the linked field in table A. My problem is that i need to fill automatically as well, fields Y and Z which are linked to field in table A. Some idea how to perform this task? Many thanks in advance

Hello! I am new to Airtable and have been chugging along until now lol. I have done hours of research and received advice from a few people but I am still very much stuck. I have a multi select field and I am trying to write a formula that takes the options in that field and replaces/substitutes them with values from other fields. So let’s say my multi select field contains the following values: Buyer Agent Closing Attorney Closing Attorney Assistant I want a formula that looks at each value and replaces each one with an email address from a lookup field. ‘Buyer’ would be {Buyer Email} ‘Agent’ would be {Agent Email} ‘Closing Attorney’ would be {Closing Attorney Email}’ ‘Closing Attorney Assistant’ would be {Closing Attorney Assistant Email} The email addresses would need to have commas separating them. And if there is no email address in any of the lookup fields it would just ignore it. Please help!

In the documentation it is provided that we can do a conditional roll up. But i can’t see the option in the tool. Attaching the image for reference.

I have 3 sample tables as kind of below, and I don’t know how to realize it to Airtable: the case is if I updated by adding item name ‘A’ to SO with subject ‘ee’, the result will automatically update like this: My main question is how to separate a ‘linked to’ field which is can contain multiple values, to be an individual record/ row, and update it automatically from SOTable?

Hi! Is it possible to compare single and multi-select fields across columns in one table? Would a formula be able to do this? I have a single select field listing the launch month for content. Then there are 2 lookup fields with the launch months for connected content (each with multiple months selected). Ideally, I want to compare the single select field to the 2 lookup fields and output anything that is after the single select field month. Would these fields need to be dates rather than single or multi-select fields for this to work? If so, is there a way for multiple dates to exist in one field? Or is there another way to do this? Hi All, I’m in the process of creating a catalog of related books that I can hopefully email out to customers, and, so far, that’s involved creating an Entries rollup field in my Catalogs table that pulls from my Books table using the ARRAYUNIQUE(values) aggregation formula. I did as much formatting as possible in the Books table, adding caps with UPPER() and spaces with \n, but I can’t figure out how to eliminate the comma after each rollup field item. I tried this: SUBSTITUTE (ARRAYUNIQUE (values), “,”, " + ") But I kept getting “Sorry, there was a problem saving this field. Please check your formula text.” I’ll add a screenshot here so you can see what I’m talking about and why I’d want to eliminate the comma . . . Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Hi our homepage views have suddenly gone blank displaying no data - if we apply a filter the relevant data appears but without a filter nothing is showing. Personal view are not effected. This is very troubling - we initially thought our whole database was lost. The first formula creates new task depending on the routine type. Weekly routine, monthly routine, etc. The second formula should move the task to the Monday if the first formula lands task on the Saturday or Sunday. Appreciate your help. Jack

Hello, I have a fairly simple question, but I’m not sure how to do it in Airtable: I have a group of students that are completing book reports. I have the “Students” table with a list of all students, and I’m creating a “Book Report” form for them to fill out when they finish a book. When completing their form, I want them to be able to select their name from a Multiple Select list of students in the “Students” table so that their Book Report will be automatically linked to their record. The form is located in the same “Students” table. How can I create a Multiple Select field on the “Book Report” form which is populated using the Primary ID (student name) on the “Students” table? Hello guys! I am new to Airtable, and have been absolutely amazed by it’s possibilities. However, there is one specific thing where I got completely stuck for several hours and no YouTube videos or Forum topics helped me get through. I am practicing on a table for a Car Dealership. Each record has 5 columns with Car Details, and then a Single Select Field where we can choose from “Available”, “Reserved” and “Sold”. Then I have another table called “Car Dealership Statistics”, and here I would like to count how many times my cars went into “Reserved” and how many times they went into “Sold”. These numbers can be different because people can abandon their Reservations and the car becomes Available again. I wanted to tackle this with a Counter column, a Formula column ( Counter+1 ) and an Automation that increases Counter by Formula when the field = Reserved, and then same when field = Sold. Hello all! I am trying to compile a formula that dynamically spits out a value based on the values in 2 other static data fields, the first being an Additional Authors Count that counts the number of authors that exist on a record and the second field being a deliverable field. The end goal of this formula is to compute a number amount that a freelancer should get paid based on completely specific deliverables and taking into account the number of authors on said project they worked on. For example: If a freelancer works on a project deliverable of content calls and they do so on a project with an author count of 2 additional authors, I want the formula to be able to spit out a number based on those two external values and the static values that live in said formula. I’ve been able to get this far, but now need to somehow add in the deliverable field condition so that if the deliverable is Content Calls and Additional Author is 1 then add 1000 to the existing multi author amount (which

Hello, I have created a form to schedule meetings with our company. However, I have noticed that when someone from another time zone picks a time for a meeting using the “Date/time” field, Airtable schedules this meeting in this person’s time zone. For example, if someone in London picks the time 10:00 am, the meeting will be at 10:00 am their time (3:00 am CST). Is there a way to have this “Date/time” field to only stick with Central time no matter where the person is located? For this particular case, the meeting will be 10:00 am CST, not 10:00 am London.

I have a table that looks like this… CompanyName, CompanyID, AttributeA, AttributeB, Phase1Start, Phase1End, Phase2Start, Phase2End In other words, 1 row per company, with lots of start/end date columns for multiple phases of a large project. I now want to plot those phases with some kind of timeline view but am struggling to achieve this with Timeline or Gantt. Calendar view at least allows me to specify multiple input dates per row, but the view isn’t really appropriate for managing a project. I can see one potential solution which is to create multiple rows in my data per company and then group the various rows by company in my timeline. But I really want to avoid doing this and dramatically messing up the structure of my initial base. Has anyone else successfully plotted multiple phases of a project for a given row with a timeline view? Or even any other view that works well on project management? Thanks for any thought!

I have a button field that runs a script, that calls an external API, and then updates a field in the record. Is there anyway to stop the extension dashboard containing the script from opening (even partially) when the script is run? Hello! I am wondering if anybody can help me troubleshoot why a script stops working when there are records in my base? The script in question is the “Creating Projects/Tasks From Templates” script (which I found here). I am also including share links to 2 test bases for reference on my problem (those are located here and here). The Sandbox for Question (1) table is copied from my company’s Workspace, and includes confidential information that I’ve renamed to “Redact” - very sorry if this makes addressing this issue more complicated or confusing!
