Hello community I was wondering if you could help me. I want to make a formula that shows me the emoji “ :white_check_mark: ” if the names and emails are in the contact fields, otherwise it shows me “ :x: ” but I don’t know what I’m doing wrong in my formula. Could you help me?

Hello guys! I am new to Airtable, and have been absolutely amazed by it’s possibilities. However, there is one specific thing where I got completely stuck for several hours and no YouTube videos or Forum topics helped me get through. I am practicing on a table for a Car Dealership. Each record has 5 columns with Car Details, and then a Single Select Field where we can choose from “Available”, “Reserved” and “Sold”. Then I have another table called “Car Dealership Statistics”, and here I would like to count how many times my cars went into “Reserved” and how many times they went into “Sold”. These numbers can be different because people can abandon their Reservations and the car becomes Available again. I wanted to tackle this with a Counter column, a Formula column ( Counter+1 ) and an Automation that increases Counter by Formula when the field = Reserved, and then same when field = Sold. Hello all! I am trying to compile a formula that dynamically spits out a value based on the values in 2 other static data fields, the first being an Additional Authors Count that counts the number of authors that exist on a record and the second field being a deliverable field. The end goal of this formula is to compute a number amount that a freelancer should get paid based on completely specific deliverables and taking into account the number of authors on said project they worked on. For example: If a freelancer works on a project deliverable of content calls and they do so on a project with an author count of 2 additional authors, I want the formula to be able to spit out a number based on those two external values and the static values that live in said formula. I’ve been able to get this far, but now need to somehow add in the deliverable field condition so that if the deliverable is Content Calls and Additional Author is 1 then add 1000 to the existing multi author amount (which

Hello, I have created a form to schedule meetings with our company. However, I have noticed that when someone from another time zone picks a time for a meeting using the “Date/time” field, Airtable schedules this meeting in this person’s time zone. For example, if someone in London picks the time 10:00 am, the meeting will be at 10:00 am their time (3:00 am CST). Is there a way to have this “Date/time” field to only stick with Central time no matter where the person is located? For this particular case, the meeting will be 10:00 am CST, not 10:00 am London.

I have a table that looks like this… CompanyName, CompanyID, AttributeA, AttributeB, Phase1Start, Phase1End, Phase2Start, Phase2End In other words, 1 row per company, with lots of start/end date columns for multiple phases of a large project. I now want to plot those phases with some kind of timeline view but am struggling to achieve this with Timeline or Gantt. Calendar view at least allows me to specify multiple input dates per row, but the view isn’t really appropriate for managing a project. I can see one potential solution which is to create multiple rows in my data per company and then group the various rows by company in my timeline. But I really want to avoid doing this and dramatically messing up the structure of my initial base. Has anyone else successfully plotted multiple phases of a project for a given row with a timeline view? Or even any other view that works well on project management? Thanks for any thought!

I have a button field that runs a script, that calls an external API, and then updates a field in the record. Is there anyway to stop the extension dashboard containing the script from opening (even partially) when the script is run? Hello! I am wondering if anybody can help me troubleshoot why a script stops working when there are records in my base? The script in question is the “Creating Projects/Tasks From Templates” script (which I found here). I am also including share links to 2 test bases for reference on my problem (those are located here and here). The Sandbox for Question (1) table is copied from my company’s Workspace, and includes confidential information that I’ve renamed to “Redact” - very sorry if this makes addressing this issue more complicated or confusing! Hi all, Hoping someone could help me correct a script. I have a base with multiple tables in it. There is a table called “Projects” and another table called “Potential Photoshoots”. I’m trying to use a script to move a single record from the “Potential Photoshoots” table to the “Projects” table. It should then delete the record from the “Potential Photoshoots” table. This all should happen automatically when a button is clicked. NOTE: The button field name and the button label are both titled “Move to Projects” and it exists on the “Potential Photoshoots” table. I’m new to Airtable and not very proficient with scripts, but I’ve been doing research and playing around to try and learn. I was able to work out the following script, but it doesn’t move the specific record whose button was clicked. From what I understand, that is because I need to use an input.recordAsync call. I have a “Lookup” field that shows me many values ​​in the same field according to the tab relationship. For example: It is related to a field called orders, the lookup shows a field with the number of orders, and the next lookup shows the month in which they were made, but it shows me the same repeated many times, (July, July, July, August, July , August). We have an Enterprise level account and are trying to implement a date field which will track the date that a status is changed in another field. This is all good on a move-forward basis, but we would also like to update it historically, which is proving to be trickier. With our enterprise account, we have 3 years of revision history, but it seems like the only way to access what we need is to open up every single record, scroll through until we find the action we’re wanting to track, and then approximate based off of Airtable’s generic date timeframes when that action was performed. Once we’re out of the 1 month timeframe, this goes to month by month and then year by year approximations, when what we’re really looking for is exact dates. Is there a better way to do this? I don’t see an access point in the scripting API to see record history. Our Enterprise audit logs only go back 6 months, and don’t offer this level of granularity. I was tring to modify a formula DATEADD({Start Date},13,‘days’) to find the end of the month but since months have differing amounts of days I wasn’t sure how I could do that. Bascially, I want the formula look at the start date and then output the last date in that month. So a start of 9/1/22 would equal 9/31/22, etc. Thanks in advance!

Hello everybody! I hope everyone is doing well. I was trying to create a system where we have a due date for a item (in this case a bill), and then have a single select field with options to say how often we have to pay it. I then thought it would be great if I didn’t have to change the due date and that is done automatically. However the formula I created isn’t correctly adding the days based on what I have in the single select field. It defaults to the first if statement. My formula: IF(Frequency,“weekly”,DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Due Date},7,‘Day’),‘MM/DD/YYYY’),IF(Frequency,“bi-weekly”,DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Due Date},2,‘week’),‘MM/DD/YYYY’))) Note: This is not all the option but I figured it was a problem with the structure and not the options. Hey I’m coming from spreadsheets and wanted to start using Airtable, but the first thing I noticed was that I couldn’t use shift+scroll to navigate horizontally. My friend doesn’t have this issue on his Mac, but I’ve found dozens of other people with the same issue as far back as 2017 but no one has shared a solution. Any insight on the cause of this bug/how to fix it? I can’t use this if basic navigation is broken. (Using Chrome on Windows 10)

I’m trying to overwrite a Field’s options with a list provided dynamically from data that is imported. I have successfully updated the options to use the previous values in addition to the new set of values (similar to the example the documentation provides). However, the use case for my app is to start from scratch: delete all existing records (and ideally field options), and import a fresh set of data with field options that match the new data. The documentation points to UpdateFieldOptionsOpts as a way to do this, but after trying a few combinations, I have not gotten it to work. Any thoughts from the community on what I might be doing wrong? Struggling with the Date time difference not showing the correct status. The problem is the failing to return “Due Soon” instead of “Due Tomorrow”. Hi everyone, I have a Stacker app, linked of course to Airtable, for which my colleagues use to plan events, sync these to internal calendars, etc. Some of these events run “Out of Hours”, i.e. starting or running into Saturdays or Sundays, or starting or running past 5pm Monday to Friday, and for compliance purposes, these events needs some special email notifications to fire to certain people. One workaround would be simply to have users mark a checkbox field to say “my event is out of hours”, but this still has the possibility of user error (and I’d like to streamline my Stacker app as much as possible). So, theorising a workaround, I’ve created four formula fields using DATETIME_FORMAT to extract the Start day, End day, Start time, and End time independently of any date and those values being combined in the date fields, which what my users configure.
