Hi everyone, I am trying to get unique values from a lookup field. I have tried the solution suggested in: Solved: Exclude Duplicate/Repeating Values via Lookup or R... - Airtable Community. by  @kuovonne. Which stated: Create a rollup field that rolls up the multi-select field. Set the formula to values. Save the rollup field.Convert the rollup field to a lookup field. Notice that the lookup will be formatted as plain text instead of the usual pill format.Create a new formula field that refers to the lookup field (that used to be a rollup) and use the formula ARRAYJOIN(ARRAYUNIQUE(ARRAYFLATTEN({lookup field})), ", ")But this does not seem to work for me, as converting the rollup back to a lookup, changes the formatting back to pi lls.In the screenshot provided you can see the formula I am using, as well as both the rollup and lookup field. Okay, a bit of context for clarity.I have a base that I am using for tracking inventory. We send out the packages of items. Sometimes we have some of the items in stock, and sometimes we need to order more before the package is sent. I am using an interface that lets the end user select the items that they want to add to the package. Then they have the option to click a button to trigger an automation.The automation looks in the table and finds all items with a check box. Then, using a repeating group, it send the relvant infromation for each item to Make via a webhook. Make then checks to see if the qty needed is less than or equal to the qty in inventory. If it is, Make creates a new record in an Inventory Change Log table to remove that qty of items from the Inventory table. The problem I am facing is if two items with the same name are sent at the same time, the webhooks are sent to make faster than make can process through them.For instance:Say I have 1 trashcan left in stock

Is there a way I can export my airtable base to firebase without having to pay a fee? I tried using Rowy, but that needs an API and airtable doesn't allow that anymore.Then I tried to set up an automation to google docs within airtable, but to create a google doc requires a paid account.I don't want to continually sync data, just a one time export so that I can use the data in another way from firebase.How do I get my data out?!! 

I have a public (password protected) interface gallery view. It contains embedded cards.  With this password, I want people to be able to open the cards within each gallery item. Currently, without an account, you can see the interface gallery and navigate within it but you can't open any of the cards. Is there a way to publicly drill into an interface in the public view? Hi all! First time poster, hoping someone can explain to me why I cannot figure this out based on my lurking on other threads.I have a table (below) tracking information about tours we coordinate. We track the Presenters on each tour and a count field, so I can sum the total number of presenters across all our tours. However, I want to get the number of UNIQUE presenters across all the tours. e.g. if Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Romeo & Juliet both have "Shire of Cue" as a Presenter, how can I make sure it only gets counted once?To make matter more complicated, I'm hoping to have this unique count number be on the same table as the rest of the information, because otherwise I can't access it easily when building a dashboard interface.Appreciate any and all suggestions!

I have a view of all the tasks assigned this week grouped by the main assignee. I have now added a another user field called support and I'm looking for a way to group by if the person is the main assignee or the support so I can see all the tasks they need to be working on, not just the ones they are the main POC on.Is there a way to do this? I figure it's with a formula but I can't figure it out. I know I could do this with individual views filtered by if assignee is X person OR support is X person, but I want to be able to see all the tasks for all the people in 1 view.

Hello! I am new to creating formulas in Airtable, and therefore need help creating a total count field based on multiple selections. What I want to have is the top items ordered (maybe top 15 items) and show which employees have ordered that item. I've created an Interface but it currently shows ALL the items and I haven't figured out a way to display only the highest totals of items. Also, I need to have a filter where when the item has the majority of the same words, it combines those two items together as one item (we did a "sale" so some items have a "25% off" in front of the item name).    Please help! 

I have a base with a table: Scores that has 2 fields in it. Field 1: TeamName, Field 2: QuizScoreWhat I would like to accomplish is to generate a leaderboard where the Average QuizScore per TeamName is displayed. There may be several TeamName records with differing QuizScores.  I do not want to show the detail records in the Interface. Just the summary records. I'm not sure the best way to do this. I managed to link to table: AvgScores, where I calculate the average. But, I cannot figure out how to do an animation, where when a new record is added to Scores, how to I update AvgScores. The TeamName is created in another application, so, I can control how it is spelled/formatted. So, I can match a field in AvgScores. But, I can't figure out how to do that either. I'm an old SQL hack...

I am designing with softr portals for my teachers. They don't access airtable but interact with data through softr. For assessments I would like then to be able to edit all records more like a spreadsheet way,vseeing 20 records for 20 students for example and being able to grade them all without having to edit record one by one as they could do with an airtable access m is there any way, platform, existing I did this ?I’m designing teacher portals using Softr, where teachers interact with data through Softr rather than accessing Airtable directly.For assessments, I’d like teachers to have a spreadsheet-style view, allowing them to see multiple records at once (for example, 20 students' records) and enter grades efficiently across all records without needing to edit each one individually. Hi AllI am trying to connect to airtables through power bi and have the API setup with the key, base id and table id. however when i enter the details into Power Bi i get an "We couldn't authenticate with the credentials provided. Please try again." error. now sure why as i do have access to the airtable with the same power bi credentials.Thanks

I’ve built a client meeting interface for my team with the following elements: Client record dropdown element Meeting record dropdown element Client Goal filter element (to filter for only the goals linked to the meeting) Client Action Item filter element (to filter for only the action items linked to the meeting) My objective is to generate an automated URL to view the interface with all 4 elements prefilled. I’ve been able to prefil the client record and meeting record, since these only use record IDs. However I can’t seem to identify what data type the filters utilise in their url code.  I want to calculate the average income per hour correctly by dividing sum of total price by sum of total hours. In the left number the average is calculated incorrectly by dividing the sum of income per hour with the number of projects. Is this possible? I would need calculations in the interface I guess.

Hello!I have a table that has multiple tabs. If on Tab A, I have a column of costs, am I able to link the sum of that column to a cell on Tab B?I know that I cannot use Airtable like I do Excel, but I am trying to do it anyway because I really love working on Airtable.!!thank you for your help!

I've had a simple "LInk to Another Record" field working flawlessly for years.  All of a sudden it stopped working correctly., sometime between 9/27/24 and 10/31/24 . I give you the dates because I'm almost certain that there was a note from Airtable that popped up in the last week or two about new AI features, and I see that on the Link to Another Record field there is a new option that wasn't there before--to use AI (see attached screenshot).AI addition or not, here's the behavior:- On existing records, it's still working, sort of. Although if I change the field (Field 1) it is using to select a field from the target table, it doesn't grab the new record.- On a new record, The Link to Another Record does not bring in the record field. So on new records, I now have to out my cursor in the Link to Another Record field, and manually select the record I need.Any ideas?   

Hello, I am trying to collect two types of survey responses through Fillout parent & child form that are linked to two separate Airtable tables.1) I am using the record picker option on Fillout to let respondents create new records. Currently, only child form responses are updated on Airtable and the parent form responses do not get updated on Airtable even though they are integrated correctly. What could be the issue with this problem?2) Is there a way to set titles to the new records created by respondents? Currently the new selected record appears as a blank. 3) Even though I have integrated the respondent identifiers for both parent and child form, the unique link to log or identifier (name) columns do not get updated on Airtable. Is there a solution for this? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

In the new forms section there is no way to sort your form title in the left forms list.Allow sorting of these forms both by drag and drop AND alphabetize like we do all the time with fields like single selects. Thank you!mpollock@olamilaunch.org

I turned off an automation as I wasn't ready for it to run. The automation was set to go off at a certain date. When this date was reached the automation ran even though it was turned OFF. Should automations run if they are turned OFF? 

Hi there,I am building a base with 2 tabs: the first one is for data entry and to be linked to the second tab which contains standardized data.  About 5-10% of the data in the second tab updates frequently and the data in tab 1 must reflect the data in tab 2 on the date of entry, meaning the data in tab 1 should maintain the old data and if new data is entered, it will show the most current data from tab 2.How do you counter this problem?  Any insights or help will be appreciated.  Thank you very much! 

To create a base through API you  need to provide a workspace_id -> https://airtable.com/developers/web/api/create-baseBut I can't find a way to list the workspaces a token/user has access to. How do I get the different workspaces for a token (in non-enterprise accounts) ?

Hello there,I am trying to automatically delete records after 1 week. As I am in free plan, I can't run scripts (currently I don't want to upgrade). I set up a field which tags every opportunity with a delete text. Can someone tell me how to solve that with the Search Step in Make (formerly Integromat). Hello,I was notified by Airtable today that I am part of a minority of users using way too much API on the free tier, costing Airtable money. The email instructed me to look at my offending workspace. Unfortunately, the workspace sums all base APIs but does not break down percentage used by individual bases, making it impossible to tell which is the offender. How do I find out which base is hammering the limit? How much API limit will I get if I upgrade to team? Why is this information so cryptic?Thank you in advance,-API Hog

Hi there,I've created a base where I track all of the marketing activity for a number of shows, and now wish to track the weekly sales and present them in a line graph, similar to how you would in Excel.At the moment, I have a column in a table called 'Revenue To-Date' where I update the figure. However, this is replacing the data each time rather than tracking it in order to show trends. I'm open to using an app or building out another table but would love a simple way to update this via the interface I have built out.The data itself comes through via an email each day as an Excel spreadsheet, so if there was a way for this to be automated, too, I'd love to learn the best way to configure.Thanks in advance!
