Hey, I’m a newbie with JavaScript so this might be obvious … I need a delay(ms) method to slow down the script after 5 API calls (limit 5/min.). Problem is all the JavaScript help on the intertube points to the setTimeout() method of the Window object. But it appears that Window is not instantiated inside the Airtable code block, therefore, no setTimeout() method. What’s a good workaround for this? What might I be missing - other methods? Hey, basically I have got a table with important deals and using Record Track extension I managed to create a report with all statuses and prices and etc, however, I can not send it on a weekly basis on email using automation. Any ideas which extension I can use? To generate report and send it to email on a weekly basis.  Thanks

Hi, I'm using automations as a workaround to add more options to a dropdown menu, per Airtable Support's instructions, but it's not working correctly. Currently, a user can select "Other" from a single select and enter the "Other" option in a separate text field. The automation is supposed to pull that text back into the original single select field as a new option in the dropdown menu. Right now it is only pulling the starting character, rather than the whole string of text. I've tried deleting and reconfiguring several times, but it still is not working. Hi! How are you? I’m new, and I’m having trouble with the average. I want to calculate the average of ao column that will ever grow (each day I’ll add new numbers). But when I create a new column to calculate it, it just repeat the numbers, instead of calculating the average number. I need a field with the Average, to link this field to Dasheroo (and I’ll do that with other fields, to, like the highest rated item in the database). How can I do that? Thanks

Hi! We've created a base with a tab for each project (e.g., Project 1, Project 2, etc.), and within each project, we need to view (in the interface) the payments made, sorted by year. To manage this, we've created a column for each year within the base. However, this setup makes all years visible across all projects, which is not ideal since each project has a different timeline. For example, if Project 1 runs from 2022 to 2025, I would want to see only those years on that project's page, and not years that apply to other projects (like a project spanning 2008 to 2025).In the interfaces, we have different tabs for different projects (e.g., charity projects), but currently, we don't have the option to filter the years so that only relevant years show on each project’s page. Is there a way to display different years per project within the interface, rather than having all the same years appear across all pages?Thank you! 

Hello!I'm looking to have a daily email automation run with a list of Found Records. I'd like the subject line of the email to have the current date. I see that I can add in a List of the Dates for the Found Records, but...it will show the date for EVERY record, rather than just one instance. Is there a way to suppress that to only the first instance of the date so that my subject line doesn't read "Daily Attendance Log DATE DATE DATE"?Thanks in advance for any help! 

Hi there -  I am attempting to track contract breach status (pending, resolved, or n/a) depending on the source of the breach and whether there is a specific response date. My formula will be 5 if statements, of which 4 are also if/and. I've been able to add the first two successfully but when I try to add the third, nothing happens. Any help would be most appreciated! Hello Airtable Support, I’d like to know if the following HR automation is possible: Our goal is to streamline our interview scheduling workflow. Once we decide to interview a particular applicant, we’d like to send them an Airtable link. On that form, they should be able to: Book an available interview slot. Upload their resume. On our end, we have several roles, each with designated interviewers. The idea is that when an applicant selects a role from a dropdown menu, a calendar appears showing the available interview slots specifically for the chosen role. This calendar would need to sync with each interviewer’s availability. Is this feasible in Airtable? Thank you!

Hello I need to build a form where users create a 'Deals' table record. The description of the form should contain  dates that come from a  record in another table: 'Cohort'. It seems that Fillout pre-fetch is exactly what I need, but it is only available for 79$/mo which seems too much for this form only (and mini-extensions likewise). Is there any another solution? Does scripting have anything to do with Forms? Many Thanks

I am going to hopefully explain this in the most concise, but detailed way possible.Overview:We have 2 tables that I am trying to make communicate. 1 table is an intake form with a production calendar view. The other table is an overall production calendar with many different views for different key stakeholders. Does anyone use an external tool for viewing/creating/editing complex formulas? Is there a tool that you like to copy and paste your complicated formulas into? Notepad++, Visual Studio? Hi there,I built a custom CRM on Airtable for a client. But I end up with a lot of pages on the interface. So to organize them, my usual habit is to break up the initial single interface into standalone interfaces. One for each category. Like here:But in my client's case, this design choice wouldn't make a lot of sense since a. only one single team will use the interface, b. all the pages refer to the same category (CRM), c. they want something that's as simple to use as possible.So for now, here's the solution I found to sort out the multiples pages. I created blank pages and used them as dividers between sub-groups of pages and renamed those pages '–––'.Have you guys found any other creative workaround for this need?Thank you.&nb

Here is the situation and thanks for all help in advance.I have a grid view where the primary filter is to only show records where a date field is empty.  This could be as many as 50 records at any one time.I'd like to add today's date to all records in the found set (empty dates) in fell swoop.  Of course, if I add the date to the field, it drops off the found set. This means I have to select todays date in 50 records with the awkward disappearing record.So an automation that will update the date field in all records in the found set might work.  I played around with an automation to do this, but couldn't figure out how to do it.I am open to alternative ideas.  Essentially, I have a set of 50 records that have an empty date and I want them to disappear from the list when a date is put in the empty date field.  But I'd like to automate it somehow.Hope that makes sense.  I have two attachments. In my 2 tabs “Freelancer” & “Project” I have some common criteria as lists : Country, Expertise, Language, ect… How can I do to have this common lists always up to date & use them to create algorithm / automations without creating a table for each criteria / lists ? Good day We are looking to incorporate our finance weekly tasks and monthly tasks in airtable for the 52 weeks of the year. Every day there are deliverables. We report our meetings weekly on our output. How do we go about incorporating this into Airtable? I have tried the project management tool available but the problem is once the month is finished I need to edit the deliverable dates every month. 

Hi!I just created a form using the newer form builder for the staff to use to submit expense reports, reimbursement requests, etc. All staff have editor permission on our "Expenses" base, where the form populates to. When the staff opens the form, there are buttons along the top of the form that allows them to navigate home, edit the form, or view the data (see picture attached).Is it possible to remove these buttons without changing the staff permission levels? They still need to have editor-level permissions so they can engage with the base in other contexts, but I don't want people to be able to easily or unintentionally change the form or edit the data.

Hi all, I have a csv file with a column that contains the name of the project associated with the client. So I have a csv file with 2 columns: customer email, project name. I have to import this file into the customer table on Airtable where the “merge field” is the email and the project name must be inserted in a multiselect field. The problem is that many customers already have projects in their multiselect field and doing this import is all overwritten and only the last imported project remains. So the question is how is it possible to import (add) new values in “multiselect field” without overwriting the already existing values? Thanks so much everyone for the help

Hello everyone, I have been greatly enjoying Interfaces, what a wonderful tool, thank you ! However, I don’t understand if and how I can delete a record from inside an interface. For example, I have an interface that is a record list. Above that record list I put a button/link to a form associated with the table from the record list, so that I can create new records. But I don’t understand how I could delete records from inside the interface. For now, I’m going back to my base with grid view, I have to find the record, right click and delete. Not the most efficient. Is is possible to delete a record from inside an interface? If not, did any of you find a decent workaround? Thank you, Ray

Is there currently a way to change the order of forms in the "Form" section of an Airtable Base? Similar to how you can move and group views, automations, and interfaces in their respective sections. Currently it appears that forms are just listed in the order of creation with no ability to group or reorder for ease of viewing on the back end.

The map app works when I am working at table level.When using share or Interface, changes to the Filter do not update the map.Suggestions?
