Hi, is there a formula to pull the date that a specific cell was updated?For context; I use Airtable to confirm bookings for my business, and do weekly reports on these. The reporting is currently based on 'created date' as I only add them to the system when they are about to be confirmed. However, there has become a need to add them to the system as soon as I receive the booking request so I can follow up on any tentative bookings. However, if they aren't confirmed until the following week or later, they will fall into the wrong reporting week. I'd like to change my reporting filters to be based on 'created date' OR a new formula field that pulls the date the 'Status' field was change to 'Confirmed'.I have other automation in play to manage tentative bookings, but it's failing and this formula would be a much better solution (if it exists).Any help would be much appreciated!

Well, as a certain happens as my business grows in my system grows, I'm realizing that I need to do some tweaks and I'm wondering what you would recommend here. I'm sure everybody has run into the situation. I've created two separate linked fields in one table and I wanna narrow it down to just linking one and looking up the other so now that I've got data in it. Is there ANY possible way to add color to the "Number" field inside the interface?I would love to change this dynamically; if positive green, when negative red. I have a bunch of these numbers on my interface that I'd like to track, and having this basic functionality would help to draw attention 

I am working on a project for a service company. I have a table with clients and then a table of projects that are linked back to the client. Clients are assigned a rate based on different factors. The rate is carried through to any of the projects they are linked to via lookup field. However, I would like to override the lookup field should we have a promotional rate or a specific project needs to be billed at a different hourly rate. Any suggestions?

Is it possible to 2-Way Sync between a Business Workspace table and a table of a separate Team Workspace?Would it be setup from the Business Ws table?

I have a table Treatments and a table Users. Then I have a table Users_Treatments where each record is a combination of one User and one Treatment, and in addition there is a Review field (basically users review treatments they have tried). I have already pre-populated the Users_Treatments table with users and treatments but I miss the reviews. I would like to create a Form, so that each user can add a review for each one of the treatments they have tried. Is this possible? I only managed to create a Form that however shows only one treatment per user.

Hi everybody, I am attempting to use forms to update fields in my table. I need to be able to pre-populate the other fields in the form with the current information that is in the table, is this possible?For example: I have a table of "Items", and each row has the item name and columns of information about the item- owner, amount, etc. In the form, the first question is "what item would you like to update?" with a linked record to the first column with all the items. When an item is chosen, I'd like the other fields to auto-populate with the current information in the table with that item, so they can see what they're updating. If they choose "Scraper", for example, I want the next field of "How many" to auto-populate with the amount that is in the table, and then of course I want them to be able to edit it if necessary. Is this possible, maybe with Zapier? Hi there,We're building a decision-making helper tool on Airtable to reduce the number of meetings at work. For each decision to make that requires the opinion of more than one person, we intend to have people use a dedicated Airtable interface. Someone will create the topic to be discussed on it and then add the relevant participants to the topic.But I'm having a hard time choosing the type of field for the `Participants` field on our database. I feel like it could be both a User field or a Linked Record field. In both cases, I managed to get a `Participants Count` field: in one case with a formula, in the other case with a Count field. I don't know which field type to pick because I don't have a clear overview of each choice's fallout.What seems the best approach according to you?Thanks.

Hi all--Thanks in advance for your thoughts. I have a items shown in the attached that are different content that have different topics associated with them (you can see the column of topics). I'd like to get a view in Airtable where I see all of these segment names associated with the individual topics in lists in 1 view.  The way I've thought about doing it is to try grouping them, but when I group them, they sort with the 4 topics together, not as individual topic lists. Grateful for any advice on how to do this!

Hello, I am trying to understand more about the paid plans, and who exactly on the team needs to pay for plans to access bases that use paid features. We use airtable for our general employee handbook. Although everyone needs to access it, only the admin team needs to have editing/creator rights. From my understanding, someone with a paid plan account needs to create a workspace that houses the handbook base. Then they would share it with the rest of the team, and note in airtable who needs read-only permissions (in which those users won't need paid plans to access the base), and those who should have editing rights (in which we would then need to pay for their plan). Is this correct?We want the handbook base to have the paid features of higher record limit and sync intergrations which would be useful, but we don't want to end up paying $20 a month per seat for everyone just for those two features as the cost isn't justifiable for

Hi there, I'm using the list view in interface designer as a project management tool. When I am trying to drag a line/task to another position, this doesn't work. I want this to work as in Todoist, Microsoft To do or Clickup (in Todoist it works best). I want to manually sort tasks in list view and also drag them to different tasks as subtasks.In my underlying grid view table, each record presents a task / subtask. In this table, I use a child task column for the nested hierarchy in list view.Can you please adjust this, so we can use Airtable like Todoist, Microsoft To do or Clickup?Regards,Chris

I have a multiple select field with four options: 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023. I want a formula field that prints how many of these options were selected. I played a bit with Count and If statements, but couldn't get anything to function quite right. Any help appreciated! 

Hi there,On this interface page, I have 2 progress bars: one visualizing the percentage of people who said 'yes' on a topic and the other one for 'no'.But instead, I'd like to get a stacked bar chart that combines the two figures into one single visualization object (like in the example below).I don't think that's possible as of now on Airtable, at least not on a List-type page. On it, someone creates the topic to be discussed and then assigns the relevant participants to it. I saw the functionality below on a youtube video from earlier this year, and I'm wondering if there's anyway to implement it, without using the Project Management template? It looks like, from an assignee field dropdown, it gives you a before and after of that user's capacity if assigned to them.  Amazing!Sadly, we're rolling our capacity up to Team level, as we have too many people to use it at the User level, but would love to see if this functionality is accessible outside of the template.Also if anyone has an thoughts / ideas / implemented solutions for forecasting using the utilisation tool, I'm all ears!  At the moment, it seems there's no way to see how a project will affect overall business capacity without adding a full project loaded up with all tasks, etc.  I'd love a similar setup to the above where yo

We have a load of addresses in a database. They are individually pasted into a Long Text field.The issue:Some addresses are in this format - 51A Wigton RoadCarlisleCA2 7AYAnd some addresses are in this format- 51A Wigton RoadCARLISLECA2 7AY So the difference is that the Post Town is uppercase - which is what we want.But a lot of submissions have come through in lower case on that second to last line, which is incorrect. I need a formula to find and replace the all text before the last break and after the second to last break, ie. all text on the second to last line. We're using MailChimp right now, but it's a mess because it's not integrated with our Airtable contact lists. Can anyone recommend a setup for using Airtable as the CRM, integrated with another Email Marketing App that can:Automatically sync contact lists "two ways" with Airtable.Meaning, if someone updates the Airtable list then the Email App's List will be updated, or if someone Subscribes using an Email App SignUp Form then Airtable's Lists will be updated. Hey! We build our company automation and centralized system with Airtable's API & Automation systems.We use 1 Workspace with many many different Bases. Could the Dashboard (in the main view) have folders inside the Workspace that can be used to divide the different bases, which would make it easier to organize and find the right Base. Hello everyone,I'd like to have an informative main field in one of my tables but im blocked because of circular references. To be brief, I have a table Programme, that is referenced in Sessions, that is referenced in Half-days, that have begin & end dates.In Sessions, i have a cumulative field that defines which is the earliest half-day of the Session in the field {from} and the latest in the field {to}.Id Like for Sessions to have in their main field this formula:{from} {Code name of Programme (from Programme)}and I can't because it is causing a circular reference.Is there a workaround any of you can think of?or How can I get more information about the error to try and solve it?

I live in Lagos, Nigeria, one of the biggest commercial hubs in Africa and I think it's a shame that Airtable is hardly known here. People are still using decade old desktop versions of popular office software that they learned to use when they were in university. I would like to officially partner with Airtable to showcase the product to businesses in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. I sent an email through the Airtable contact form about this but I received a generic response that sounded as if the person didn't even understand my request. I'm hoping that an Airtable community manager or sales representative will respond to this post.

I have two tables:Table one shows a list of tasks done on different computers and when the task has been marked as finished:TaskId, FinishDateTime, Computername.In table two I have information who was logged in when on on which computer:DateTimeStart, DateTimeStop, EmloyeeName, Computer. I want to have in table one an extra column, showing the name of the EmployeeName that was working on that computer while the task was finished. So we need to use the FinishDateTime and Computername to query the other table to find a match with exactly this computer and FinishDateTime in range between DateTimeStart and DateTimeStop. The result of the formular should show just the Name of the Employee. I hope this is clear. How to create the formular? I am familiar with excel, where i would do some kind of nested vlookups, but have no idea how to achieve this in airtable.
