I created a database but not the way it is suppose to be, so now I created one with the same fields but it is relational now as i did not know how to build one. So, now I need to move all the data into the new one. Can someone tell me how, i saw something about syncing but I cant find a way to do it. thanksRose
Hello Everyone, I want to display the whole content of the “Long text” field (about 100 lines) in the Gallery/kanban view. Now it shows just the top 4-5 lines and then the next field content. To read the whole content, one has to click on it to expand. Is there a way by which the whole content can be displayed in the Gallery/Kanban view without clicking over it? Thanks a lot!
Hi Community, I have created a form, with a number of single select fields. When you got to enter, a blank field appear above the single select options - you can click on this, but it is not showing in the field in the back end. There are two options there, but the user end you can select a third non-existent option?The single selects are required fields, and the form has existed for a while without these glitches. Any tips welcome - though FYI, scripting (which the Airtbale bot told me to do) is a bit beyond my capabilitiesThanks
I have been working on a few bases an just want a steer on best practice re conditional logic on forms for Interface users.So for example if I have two record pickers on the form, one is to select Client, then there is one to select a project, I only want to see Projects relating to the client that I have chosen aboveIt seems that I can’t really do this with a native Airtable form, but I have been able to do it with Fillout forms, which is great for forms being used by external users, such as customers.My question is how do people provide this functionality to internal interface users? Do you have to link out to the Fillout form from the interface or can it be embedded within the interface in some way. I am on a Team plan. Thanks
Hello,We run a residential real estate sales business and have our office lead interface set up with the “current user” permission level. We’re encountering an issue where users in teams (e.g., lead agents, co-agents, and admins) can’t view and manage leads assigned to other team members, even though it's relevant to all parties involved.For example, we assign leads to the main sales agent, but if the agent is out of the office, we want to allow their co-agent or admin to view and accept the lead on their behalf. The team members currently get notified of new leads via and automation where they are cc’d into an email, but they currently can’t access, accept or manage the lead in the agent's interface as its only visible to the lead agent.Is there a way to set up team-based user permissions, or link team members one another so they can access each other’s data without creating separate interfaces for each agent or team? Hi everyone,I’m trying to build a chart in Airtable Interfaces to compare three values for the same category: Budgeted amount Consumed amount Imputed amount Right now, in Interfaces I can only create basic charts (bar, line, pie, donut, scatter), but I haven’t found a way to display these three values together as grouped series in a single chart.Ideally, I’d like to have something like a grouped bar chart or a pivot-style view, where for each budget item I can quickly see the three numbers side by side.Is there any way to do this directly in Interfaces? Or maybe through a workaround (extensions, pivot table, or calculated fields) that can then be brought into the Interface view?Thanks a lot for any tips or examples!

Hello, I’ve created a database that essentially allows me to create a call sheet (sample here) using the page design app. I currently have two tables: Call sheet table - lists the date as the main column. For each date, I have information such as the location, linked crew member, status etc. Crew table - this table lists each person’s name in the main column. There’s a linked record to the dates they’re working in the call sheet table, their email, cell, and role. I’d also like to add a column for the call time, but that will vary based on the date. On Tuesday their call time might be 9:00am but on Wednesday it’s 8:30am. Since each crew member in linked to several call sheet dates, one person may be linked to 2-4 different days of work on set. The time that people need to report to set each day varies. I’m trying to figure out a way, in the crew tab, to assign a call time for each person for each shoot day that they are assigned. I’ve got a base with an “Event Finished” formula field that works like this:IF(DATETIME_DIFF({End}, NOW()) < 0, TRUE(), FALSE())It resolves into a checkbox, and I use it to filter out finished events from admin list views. My base currently sees about ~15-20ish events a day, which have times attached, and the folks that need to monitor the views have told me they find it really annoying when finished events aren’t filtered out of a given list view.And it works fine! I could be using IS_AFTER rather than DATETIME_DIFF, but otherwise, it does the job. However, I know NOW is a function to avoid. Its inaccuracies aren’t a big deal to me (if the formula clears out an event 15 minutes later than it should have, that’s not the end of the world), but its computational cost is becoming more of an issue. I assume NOW continues to recompute for every record, even those that are well beyond completed at this point. I’m trying to optimize things so NOW gets called less, so here are some question
Hey everyoneThere use to be a feature for Groups in forms that seems to be missing now for new fields.When creating a form, you can create a group and add fields to that group.When you selected the Group, there was a permissions option for that Group where you can choose the fields to be editable or view-only.It appears that option is no longer available.This was incredibly useful for me. I was able to prefill fields in that group and it would prevent the end user from removing my prefilled option. This was really great when I didn't want to expose information in those fields to end user. I could prefill it and they could not edit it. But it was at least displayed there for them so they know what they were filling things out for. If this feature is gone, is there another way to prevent end users from changing prefilled fields in formsTIA!

I am creating a Airtable base for HR recruiting purposes. I use the Airtable form to collect information from potential candidates. I would like to collect only their LinkedIn Profile URL and contact info (email or phone). Using the collected LinkedIn Profile URL, I would like to pull info such as Name, Location, Experience, Education from LinkedIn into Airtable fields. I’m looking for a simple and low-cost solution for collecting e-signatures in forms. I need to create permission forms for education programs and collect e-signatures, then import the data directly to Airtable. I don’t need to do this often enough for a montly/annual contract to make financial sense. esignatures.com is the best-priced platform that I’ve found, but it’s not clear if their data can be integrated with Airtable. I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who has done this or found other low-cost but good solutions that don’t require third-party software.

Hi everyone,I’m working on a workflow where I’d like to bring live job costing data from QuickBooks Online into Airtable, specifically linked to Projects (i.e. QBO “Customers” with IsProject=true).The goal is to have Airtable show income and costs by project, so that project profitability and job cost tracking are always up to date. Ideally this would cover both accrual (Invoices, Bills, etc.) and cash-basis (Payments, BillPayments, Expenses, Checks, etc.) transactions — pulling the amounts tied to each project’s CustomerRef and syncing them into Airtable tables for Projects and Job Cost Lines.Has anyone here implemented something like this — a live sync or near real-time integration between QuickBooks and Airtable for job costing by project?
Hello,We are a large sales organization using the Airtable Page Designer to create PDFs in order visualize data from our commission tables. We have created the PDFs in the Airtable Page Designer, but do not know how to attach them back to the individual record within the table.For example: we have commission data generated from the table for the entire sales organization. We would like the PDF that was created for Bob Smith, to automatically pull back into Bob Smith’s record. We plan on emailing all of these PDFs to each individual rep through an automation.TLDR: How do we attach the PDF to the individual rep (record) from which the information was pulled.

Some of my text fields are VERY long with formatting etc. is that still going to work when being sent via a query string? Seems to so far but I would hate it to break.
Hello,Our team has built out a form for users to sign up for training from a few categories. We do this by using separate fields with different rules to pull data by the training’s specific name. All of the trainings feed in from a Google Calendar, and the form feeds in from a grid of those calendar events.The form works great when used normally! However, we had a user experience frustration when these fields would not allow them to select multiple trainings. We discovered that in incognito mode (only tried in Chrome so far), users could select 1 training per category, but when selecting multiple would recieve a “Cannot see this data” error.Interestingly, users can select the same named training (differing dates) with no issue. As soon as they choose a training with a separtate name, they recieve the same error.Again, thw form works properly when not in incognito. Is there an internal way to fix this error to let users select different trainings?

I did create a trial Twilio account. I don’t mind sending with my own phone, this will only be 4-5 texts per week to 2 or 3 people.Just pointing me to a similar process I think I’ll be able to sort it out.Thank you.
I have created an automation that sends an email with text and numbers. The numbers are pulled from two dynamic fields. One field is a percentage and the other field is a currency. However, the percentage and currency formats aren’t making it over to the email (sent by Airtable). Looking for input on how to format the numbers into percentage and USD currency.
Hi guys, I’m building a interface (with Softr) heavily based on a Tag system done with linked records. I have translated the interface but I don’t know how to translate the tags without creating a different linked table and loosing the link with the original table. I’ve created agent fields to translate the tags. Any ideas how to display and allow the selection of the translated field and not the primary field of the table? Or any other solutions that can link the translated tags to the original dataset?Thanks,
Hello Airtable Community, We have had a ticket open with the Airtable AR Team on some billing questions since the 7th of this month. No response have been received. I have emailed the regular support now as well but I’m not sure when I’m going to hear back from them. Is there any way to contact them that’s not email?
