Hey all,so weirdly enough, when I setup the formula for a total time calculated it shows this: 120 minutes, correct?However the resultant display shows this:Just curious, why is it showing up as 0:02 instead of 120, even though in the sample it shows it’ll be 2?

Airtable novice here! I’m trying to create a set-up that will field team names and scores from a typeform trivia survey to create a simple leaderboard to sync to the commonninja leaderboard widget. After *so many hours - whyyy* I finally got the simple set-up ready but for the life of me, cannot get the new entry from typeform trigger automation to work. It seems to fail at the Update Record step. See screenshots of two set-ups below - any help would be so greatly appreciated! Also open to any other solves that might reduce the number of apps I’m bringing in. Also note that I have to set Team Name as a single select with options in order to connect with typeform properly. Since the contact is only a linked record from “people” where all the details for that contact exists. Hi there! I have an automation currently setup in Airtable that sends a slack anytime a tag is updated when an order comes through our system. The automation sends the customer name and total in the order and a link to the image. I am trying to find a way for it to send an actual attachment of the image, as currently I have an employee going in and manually sending it. This is what Airtable support said below. Hi,here is the solution to this frequently asked question. Just replace the value in delay( ) to change the time of delay. The maximum delay you can give is 30 Sec per action or automation will fail. We receive certain highly sought after wines in small quantity and need to distribute them to top accounts. Most of the time, accounts take the full allocation, but other times they just accept a portion of the offer or none at all. My post here is looking for guidance from experienced designers on the overall base structure and how I should develop and connect things. Hi Airtable community,I’m trying to set up an automation and could use your help.Here’s the scenario: Whenever a new record is created for a specific name (NAME 1) and a new name (NAME 2) (see screenshot for reference), I’d like the automation to trigger a notification to the specific people who have modified the  previous data in the past.  

I’m setting up a base that is hopefully going to help me organize my finances with my boyfriend. We have a joint bank account, and I need to be able to show how much money is going in and going out. It seems like he is not leaving enough money to pay for his bills. So, I’m wondering if I can calculate who owes what in the account. Like … I import the CSV of the bank account, then create a table for people (which would be just two), then add up the balances of all the expenses that are the responsibility of that person … What about stuff that is both our responsibility … would I create another person and then divide that into two … I’m so confused. :crazy_face: :frowning_with_open_mouth:

Hello!I have a question regarding the batch_upsert method in the pyairtable library.Does batch_upsert update records even if the incoming data is identical to what's already stored in Airtable? Specifically, will the “Last Modified Time” column be updated in such cases?Example usage (python):table.batch_upsert(records=batch, key_fields=key_fields, typecast=True) From my testing, it seems like some records are not showing an updated timestamp, even though they were included in the batch. My primary field is an employee’s full name in this format: Last, First. The catch is that some employees have a middle initial or a middle name, so it looks like this: Last, First Middle.I want to create two separate columns that separately extract the last name and the first name. I can’t believe I couldn’t find an entry about this in this forum yet. Hmm ok, here’s my problem:  Every time I open Interfaces it goes straight into the editor and I have to click launch to use it. For me (main administrator and builder) it is annoying but works. Now my user back from holiday wanted to access and couldn’t. It gives a message that says to click on launch or ask the owner. No launch button though. I opened the interface on my side, had to click launch again did so and she could get in. This obviously is quite an annoying and NOT acceptable behavior. I have no idea where and how to change this behavior?Please help  

We are a small manufacturing company, and have moved most of our inventory into Airtable for our current build and possibly will continue to use for future buildsIs there a script I can use to stop duplicates from happening within a table? Is there a way to move about parts from one ”location” (which is already a table in the base) to another without physically having to continuously go into the data base?  continue question from above - is there a way to have 1 part but with multiple locations? We have parts that are stored in multiple staes (eg: flat parts and then folded parts but both are the same part) what is the best way to show this other than having multiple part numbers or prefixes for the same part.Hope that all makes sense…..

I am building a base for our clients. Goal is to have them access their data through a portal. They will want to print professionally formatted reports with our company logo and page breaks. Are the print options in portals the same as interfaces? If so,  this will not fit our needs. Would you suggest we use a 3rd party such as Documint?

Hi there, I have IFTTT applet that creates a new Airtable record when a Google calendar event begins. The description for the event comes in as HTML. I’ve been looking for a script that could convert the HTML to rich text so that it is more human readable in the base. I know about the Marked Preview app, but I don’t think that’ll be the best solution, since I will be embedding this base and I currently cannot embed apps. Any help is greatly appreciated.

So I have a few tables I am trying to figure out the best way to join them in order to create an interface that will display data from multiple tables. For example. I have a table Fund (which has contact information), a table budget (which has budget information for each of the funds.  There is a line item in budget that has each years fund budget. The common thread is there is a dept number for the fund in the fund table and a corresponding dept number in the budgets table.  I am trying to figure out the best way to report on each fund and their budget.  Particularly, their current budget (there is a field in the budget for each budget year), so in a nutshell, I want to see all the information from the fund table and the corresponding current budget for that fund from the budgets table.Its so simple to do this in excel or access but I cannot figure out how to link two tables to display the information in airtable.Any helps is appreciated. 

We have an event that is in multiple different locations. We have a form where they select which location they want to attend. I want to automatically send them the calendar invite when they fill out the form based on their response. Ex: We have an event on Monday in New York, Tuesday in Boston, and Wednesday in Chicago. If they select Wednesday in Chicago they will receive the outlook calendar invite for that specific event.

I created a form in Airtable and it gave me this html code: I embedded the code in my web site page here and it does work: https://captaintime.com/joint-venture-webinars/ However, it gives it a black background instead of the usual green on my site. I tried changing the background transparent to the hex color number and this didn’t work. Nor did changing backgroundColor=yellow to green. Not that yellow was showing anywhere anyway. Thanks,

So while updating my table coffee shops, I accidentally removed trading hours from MANY shops.I easily fixed this with Ctrl+Z, but now even though the data looks correct, the data is not being pulled from airtable to my website. If I duplicate the entry, same issue. But if I remake the entry EXACTLY the same, then it works. How can I resolve this? The issue is that airtable is showing me data that looks correct, but is syncing incorrect data.

Hello, We are having problem with Attachment Field.We use mobile devices to upload photos on airtable, but the photos are not getting uploaded...Anybody having same issue?From my observation, the Airtable mobile apps is not working.I tired with multilple devices, Galaxy S devices, Iphone, Ipad...Logged out and re-logged in, but its not working at all.
