I have a date, some weeks, and some holidays. I need to add the weeks to my date and exclude all holidays and weekends. I’ve used the WORKDAY function. However, I’m a little uncertain how to treat my weeks. Should I multiply them by 5 (since there are 5 working days in a week) or by 7 (since there are 7 days in a week, and the function will filter out all the weekends)?    

I'm wondering if you can use data from a synced table in the pdf generator template? It looks like you can, but it's not showing up correctly in the template, so now I'm not so sure. Haaalp.

Hi all, hoping the hive mind can solve for what I think may be a common use case. Here we go…I have two tables:Table 1: List of records from form submissions. Records are only added to this table. Records are linked to another table with multiple look up fields. We have an automation that when a record is created in this table it finds a record in Table 2 by matching against a unique identifier and updates the lookup fields. If the unique identifier is not matched, the linked and lookup fields remain empty as seen in the screen grab below. Table name is named 1. Onboarding Form Table 2: List of records that is overwritten daily by an external sync. With any given update, records remain, are added to and/or fall off the list so it’s not a situation of “when a record is added”  or “enters a view”. Table is named 2. Hi, I have a Table "Main" that is Linked to table "Agenda".Being in Main, on a record, lets say “33” I want a button to view agenda filtered by ID (Both table have the ID field, in this case “33”).Any idea to turn aroud this?Im new to Airtable. I want to sort 9 fields of numbers on a single row and order them into 9 new fields on the same row that show the numbers from lowest to highest. If the old fields are labeled #1-#9 and the new fields are labeled A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I, then I want to search #1-9, find the lowest, and put it in A, then search #1-9 for the next lowest and put it in B and so on.I’m not sure if I need to write an automation with code, a script, or what, but the base features of Airtable do not seem to be able to handle this.

Following the advice to have all info on one table and use views, I have successfully created a one table base for my law library. For views separating case law and articles, for example, is easy. I have a field in which I enter a letter according to the subject. eg for cases, enter C, for articles enter A. For a different project, I should also like to have a one table base, but am unable to work out how best to add records where each primary field record (the record in the primary field) and its different fields have numerous records in the same field. For example: Existing Setup: 2 tables. Table 1 and Table 2 In each table I have 3 fields including the primary field. I have two multiple select fields that I am joining into one field. The items are showing in reverse order. is there a way to show them in the order in which they are entered in the multiple select field?

I need a form where clients can enter there data and as many fotos as they want taken directly with the ipad. I see from the similar topics results that there is a feature request for conditional formatting - if that has been done, please mention how to find it, or if it is a paid option? I’m trying to create a column that flags members of a specific category and their expiration date. SO - ideally, top level members (let’s say Platinum), with an expiration date greater than TODAY, would show in red, or have a checkbox or something. With expiration dates less than TODAY, would have an X. The base currently contains a linked field for member category, and a field for expiration date. Suggestions on how to achieve the desired goal described above, either as formatting the record (or fields in the record) or by updating a flag field that has blanks, checks or Xs. Thoughts?

Hello, these are two screenshots, one from a web browser and the second from the mobile app. The problem is that there is a missing “Add order” on the mobile app.   

I couldn’t find anything specifically answering this and it may be a dumb question. Within our workspace we have a base that has tables for the various types of common data we use, and that data is synced to its respective databases for each department. The particular table I’m looking at contains common site locations  that are used across the board. These site locations are synced to each respective department. However, each department may have their own unique sites to add. Is it possible to keep the common sites synced and also give each department the ability to  add their own sites to that same table in their respective bases?

I have an interface for managing tasks with two pages. On the first page, I am using grouping and sorting, which works as intended… For the second page, I had tried to duplicate this same grouping and sorting… When I click away to the previous page, or when I publish the interface however, the sorting is preserved but not the grouping… How can I fix this issue so the interface preserves this grouping when after publishing?Thank you in advance!

We have three bases in Airtable, two of which are experiencing issues. The first base works as expected, allowing users to tab between cells, use arrow keys to navigate within cells, and copy-paste data smoothly. However, the second and third bases both have significant problems. In the second base, users can only copy or edit cells by double-clicking into them, and when tabbing, it only interacts with elements outside of Airtable in the browser—arrow keys also don't work. The third base is even more problematic, where none of the usual keyboard navigation features work. Tabbing and using the arrow keys have no effect, and users are stuck on the originally selected cell, unable to move or interact with other cells at all. No recent changes have been made.

Is there a way in interface designer to make a GRID VIEW that is GROUPED have certain fields that are auto collapsed? USE CASE: I have all my tasks grouped by Complete vs Incomplete, Then by “responsible party”. every time I open my project, I see ALL TASKS. I want to have access to quickly view what is completed which is why I don’t filter it out altogether. But I want it to show up with the completed tasks group being collapsed as a default.

I have an Invoice table. My automation setup is, when a record gets created, I run a script which calls an api (that api updates an Attachment field in the Invoice table) and then at last there is a Send Email action.For some reason, the send email action does not send any attachments. Although I could see the files are added successfully by the api. Here I add attachment field from the trigger response.I think, Send Email step is referring to the older values,  present during the start of the automation. Now what works is, if I add an Update Record step in between Run Script and Send Email, and update some random field and then in Send Email refer the attachment field from Update Record action.Just wanted to know if this is the expected behavior or not

Hi all !I'm making an automation in order to create pdf  with Make and google doc. All works fine except the import of all "single select" fields... the pdf stay empty in final. My question is : does the "single select" fields are considered as text field or not ? 

Hello everyone,I have a Google Sheet with multiple tabs, including one main tab called DATA which is updated at regular intervals. The other tabs in the sheet rely on this DATA tab using IMPORTRANGE and other formulas, so I can’t isolate or split it into a separate sheet.My goal is to sync the DATA tab into Airtable, ideally in near real-time, so changes in Google Sheets reflect automatically in Airtable.The problem I’m facing is: Airtable’s direct import only works with single tab Google Sheet. I cannot split or isolate the DATA tab into a new file, as it will break all dependent tabs using formulas. Has anyone successfully set up a sync in this kind of setup? I am trying to create a list of members who have not made a booking yet.  I have two table; Members and Bookings.  The relationship is one to many i.e. the Bookings table can have many records from one member.  I want to create a view or table which shows me which members don’t have a booking.  We can then contact them and find out why they have signed up and not used the service.

I am trying to use Airtable, Make, and Documentero to pull data from multiple records in Airtable and place in a table in a Word document generated with Documentero. The table will have multiple rows and multiple columns. Each row will contain several fields from Airtable, each field with its own column. How do I format the template in Microsoft word and configure the fields in Make using the Documentero module?

I'm struggling to set up a two-way sync between two tables in the same Airtable base: Clients and Campaign Management.Here's the Setup: Clients Table: Contains a full list of clients and their program levels. Campaign Management Table: Used to track each client's active campaign status without cluttering the Clients table with extra columns. What I’m Trying to Achieve: When a client is marked as active on a specific campaign (e.g., Facebook) in the Clients table, that status should automatically appear in the Campaign Management table. If the campaign status is turned off in the Campaign Management table, it should also reflect as turned off in the Clients table. Essentially, the campaign status should be mirrored and editable between the two tables in real-time. I’m new to AirTable so forgive me if this has already been answered. Is it possible to create one form that will enter records into two different tables? I am making a form to enroll a student. The first 4 fields, Name, village, birth date will go into a table of students. The next 4 fields: semester, year, study group would go into another table as these would differ from year to year. I am trying to use a shared form to get our client’s current Mailing Address for stipend scholarship checks. They can get multiple checks over time so we want present their last Mailing Address and have them accept it with no changes or override with a new address.. My approach was to create a shared form where I can prefill the previous Mailing Address. It would be blank the first time or would show the last value if they had one stored where they can override it or just hit submit to accept what defaulted in the form.Because it is a shared form, anything submitted would be a new record. I was going to date stamp the new one and use it to update the master record. The issue I am having is I cannot prefill the Client ID (the key) into the form as read only (or at all) even when the prefilled link came from a record that had the key, the new record only has the data they submitted. I can't find a way to grab the unique identifiers to match what comes back from the form. Appreciate any i
