Has anyone had any success integrating Airtable with MRI Real Estate Software using API keys? If so what steps did you take?
In another topic, I recently explained how you can instantly sync your Shopify metaobjects to Airtable. The good news is: you can now sync your Shopify metafields with Airtable too (thanks to SyncBase app) 🤩 How does it work?During onboarding, you can choose which metafields you want to sync (Product metafields, Variant metafields, Order metafields, etc.). The app then creates one table per metafield group (e.g. Product metafields) inside a brand-new Airtable base, or an existing one if you prefer. In each table, you’ll find all your metafield definitions and one record per product, order, customer, etc. You can then edit your metafield content directly from Airtable! It works for all metafield types (list, reference, etc.) and all Shopify objects (Products, Variants, Orders, Customers, Collections...) and everything syncs instantly ⚡️ A few use-cases from our users:Bulk edit Product metafields Auto-fill metafield content using Airtable’s AI features Add values to an Order metafield bas
Hi Airtable community,I work for a non-profit and we’ve decided to use Airtable for our operations. I have limited experience with Airtable but need to get this set up.I’m building a dashboard to manage: Employee Dashboard HR Management Employee Onboarding & Offboarding Leave Management Procurement Management Artwork Dashboard Patron Management I’ve prepared a 14-page spec detailing the integrations, workflows, and automations we need.Since I’m on the Team plan, I don’t have access to dedicated consulting. I’m looking for guidance on: How to integrate multiple bases efficiently Automations or workflows that are possible within Team plan limits. I’m happy to share the spec so someone can provide step-by-step advice or examples. I don’t have technical expertise, so plain-English explanations would be very helpful. If you’re able to help or provide guidance, please feel free to reply here or contact me directly at [your work email]. Any support or pointers would be greatl
I created a dashboard with interface designer, containing mostly number elements with the % complete of different categories; when I expand this, I get a list of records in the category, as expected. Great ! But this works only as it should be on the desktop client and also on the iPad client. But not on iPhone !? On iPhone, every Number element on the dashboard I expand, I always get the message “No records yet” ?I don’t understand this… is there really such a big functional difference between the iPad client and the iPhone client ?
Hi, I have a question about some app architecture that I wonder if anyone might have suggestions or opinions about? The short version is: is it better to pull AT data into an outside app, or to instead try and build plugins / overlays within AT (somehow?) ? Longer version: I am an engineer (not the software kind) and architect (also not the software kind). I LOVE AirTable. We use it religiously in our firm and it works GREAT for managing building data (pumps, fans, windows, glass, materials, rooms, ventilation flow-rates, etc, etc...)., We have built all sorts of tools to pull AT data down into our local Building Information Models (BIM) as we work. I’ve been working on a client-facing app for BIM data display, and so far what I have is a basic React App which pulls in a project’s AT data and displays it in tables for the client. So thats also fine. But NOW I am starting to add ‘creation’ tools to this app, and I’m wondering if instead there is a way to build my app into AT, rather t
Hi everybody,Our company has 3 x sized boxes - small medium large. We fit the following quantities of our product in each box:Small - 95Medium - 200Large - 300What I want to do is tell a user how many boxes each order will use. I’ve achieved this with nested IFs:IF({quantity} <= {Small Box (from Link To Products)}, "1 x Small Box", IF({quantity} <= {Medium Box (from Link To Products)}, "1 x Medium Box", IF({quantity} <= {Large Box (from Link To Products)}, "1 x Large Box",ROUND({quantity}/{Large Box (from Link To Products)},2)&" x Large Boxes")))This works well. My only issue is with the last statement when orders exceed 1 x Large Box. With an order larger than the size of 1 x Large Box, it returns a decimal of large boxes e.g. “2.67 x Large Boxes”. My question relates to the deicmal - I now want my formula to say whether that residual decimal would fir into a small box, medium box or round up to another full large box.I’m used to nested IFs going in one direction, but no
Is there a good method where when I apply to a job in LinkedIn that it would trigger or gather the details of the job--company name, position, date applied, etc. and export/import the data into my AirTable base as part of my job search?
hello,How can I create an interface from an Airtable list view?
I created a Check-In button that uses a formula, and it was working fine for a couple of weeks. However, it recently stopped pulling and autofilling the “Time Card” field. I also have staff use our interface to check in and log time for hours used on the time card.formula: "https://airtable.com/appLI7NsuW6OZb1VH/pag4DxG1LCOxskSQE/form"& "?prefill_Time%20Card=" & RECORD_ID()& "&prefill_Rental%20Date=" & DATETIME_FORMAT(TODAY(), "YYYY-MM-DD")
I am on the Free plan for now trying to make sure everything will work …. I’ve got a Find records and no matter what it only returns 10 records, even if I make the only condition where it should catch them all. For example the primary field of “Name” is not empty. Or switching to a View based and still the same result. Is the free account limited on the number of found records? or am I being a major bonehead on my action...
Hello! I’m having more difficulty than I’d like to replace text with a newline. In the Airtable Find & Replace extension script, I’ve modified it to support RegExp find and special character replace. However, when I replace the text with a special character like a newline, it always comes out in a literal text format. Here’s a real basic example of what I’m doing:let originalValue = record.getCellValue(field);let findText = "<br>";let replaceText = "\n";let newValue = originalValue.replace(findText, replaceText);Every time I view the replaced results, there is always a \n in the output: Is it possible to ensure that Airtable treats \n (I’m even doing \u{005C} to try to get around it and it doesn’t work) as an actual newline and not literally as “\n” ?
I hate to make my first post a complaint, but I am at my wits' end.Two days ago, after extensive research, I decided Airtable would work for me and signed up for a year's subscription to the $20 USD a month plan. After logging into both the web interface and app, I find I am still on a FREE plan.I tried seeking help through the chat system; it was a complete waste of energy—nothing happened other than being told to contact sales.I messaged sales, but got no response.I emailed support and received a prompt reply: "Yes, we will investigate."Two days later, I'm still not upgraded and have received no further support other than "We are looking into this."This is unacceptable and unworkable—I don't want to risk my business on this type of “support.”I asked for a refund.Ignored.I am about to start a chargeback/fraud report with my bank.If anyone has the king's ear, tell them to sort their support team out.
I’m currently editing a list interface, and under “appearance” there is the normal record coloring, and then there is something called “field text color:” Does anyone know what this is and how to use it?I’ve attached a photo of what I’m talking about
Having a few issues with new dashboards...Is there a way to not use a list, but instead use a grid layout for data on a dashboard? List view, especially here where you can not do levels, is useless. Is there a way to edit records in-line in the dashboard? no matter what I do, I can't seem to make it editable and have to expand each record individually. Not really working for our flow. ps... any news of Record List moving to the new upgraded interface versions?
Hi guysThis community is great by the way. Thanks for everyone here! I have a record list but all the groups need to be collapsed manually, and given that I have >200 groups this is not practical. I can’t right click on it (that’s perhaps only in “list” interfaces -- I’m in the “Record List”) Thanks for your help - I’m happy to sign a petition to implement this as Record List is a nice view Soeren
I’m building a self-referencing task dependency system in Airtable. Each task can list its Predecessors, the tasks that must be completed before it, and I want Airtable to automatically display the corresponding Successors, the tasks that depend on it, without any code or automation. In short, I’m creating a two-way view of task relationships so that linking one side (Predecessors) automatically reveals the other side (Successors). So in the image attached, “Conduct internal briefing meeting” should show up as a successor in “Project set-up”. If anyone can help this would be amazing!
I have an automation that invokes an API taht requires authentication credentials. What is the best way to store those credentials so they cannot be read outside of the automation? Does the input.config do anything to obfuscate them?
Hi. Thank you in advance, I am wondering if there is a way to show numbers with thousand/comma separator if you combine it with a text in a formula field using concatenate. My Amount field is in currency format. Current Formula: CONCATENATE(Amount, " ", {asking-currency})Much appreciated.
We have many projects that we want to export or save in an Excel file so we can import them into another platform we’re using. Is there an option to download all the project tabs at once into a single file, so we don’t have to manually download each tab separately?

I’m an event promotor. I’ve been using AT for a while to keep track of community member applications, event details, and general ticket sales. I want to get a better sense of real time income via sale so I’d like to update the base.Right now, I have 3 tables in the base:Member List - Record for each member with personal info Events - Record for each event (Party A, Party B, Party C, etc) Ticket Types - Record for each type of ticket (Full price, 25% off, 50% off, comped, etc)None of these include price of the ticket and I would like to start tracking that.Thinking the tables should be this, but I’m not sure:Member List - Same as above Events - Same as above, but add in pricing columns for different ticket types — Tier 1 = $90, Tier 2 = $100, Tier 3 = $110, etc. The pricing can change from event to event so the amounts cannot be a universal across all events. Discount Codes — This would be a conversion of the above Ticket Types table and apply an actual percentage off of the event — Ful
Hello,I work for a print company and want to send Airtable data through API to make what's called a JDF ticket which Esko’s Automation Engine can then use.Does anyone have any experience with this? Our main label database software does this, but I want to replace it with Airtable because it is heaps better. Thanks!
Hello,I'm experiencing a critical issue with my Airtable automation connected to Make that stopped working yesterday, and I urgently need assistance as this is putting a client contract at risk. The Problem: My automation was functioning perfectly until yesterday. Now, when triggered from my Interface button, I'm receiving this error from Make: The operation failed with an error.Error: Validation failed for 1 parameter(s).- Missing value of required parameter 'id'.My Setup: I'm using a script in my Airtable automation that sends data to Make via webhook:javascriptconst { recordID } = input.config();await fetch('https://hook.us2.make.com/2eto4rtkvo8js15rcg05e69ntn5vceqe', { method: 'POST', headers: { 'Content-Type': 'application/json' }, body: JSON.stringify({ rid: recordID }) });The recordID input is mapped to "Airtable record ID" in the automation configuration. What I've Checked:I haven't changed anything in my automation, database, or Make scenario The script configuration appear
Hi! I’m trying to embed a calendar view, but the data view isn’t matching the embed view:Data view (the one I want): Embedded view (no bueno): Normally I’d just set the view in the embedded version, but this will be on a TV with a refresh/animation every half an hour, so that’s not really feasible. Any way to fix this? Thanks!
I created an interface with two pages, and one is not showing the information to the viewers. They are getting an error that says "Cannot access this data."Other details...There are two pages in the interface --- one is a list, and one is a record detail page that only allows them to see their own record. They are all able to see their own record, but the list won't show up. The "Users can see" is set to "Specific records" and has one condition on it (status field = active). When I preview the page as the viewers, I'm able to see everything. What am I missing?
