Hello, The article on “Airtable automation action: Send MS Teams message” has options mentioned in it that I don’t see on my airtable (we have enterprise), specifically the “Dynamically messaging channels and users” section. Are these upcoming changes? Hey! Wondering if anyone has any insight into this!I'm creating an automation between Make.com, Chat GPT and Airtable to automate part of my content creation process. I'm stumped in this automation and would love a hand! The make.com senario uses a webhook to grab an airtable record, sends the record data to Open AI for Chat GPT to make a completion then sends the completion back to the original airtable record.And it's all working, which is exciting!EXCEPT the chat GBT completion doesn't end up back in the airtable record. I'm not getting any error messages to troubleshoot though. Not from make, airtable or chat gpt so I'm not sure what or how to troubleshoot this.All I can see is that the scenario completes successfully but t

Hello Community, We have noticed the following error when sending automated emails: Although I have defined the customer as the recipient (with myself as the trigger in CC), the email is primarily sent to me and only to the customer in CC. Screenshots are attached. Do you have any idea what could be causing this?

This field can contain several customers (not unique).I would like to be able to copy the customer names from the field in table 1 to the customer field in table 2 without deleting any existing data, but adding to it. I have a number of automations that have been working for years that suddenly stopped finding records as of the first time they ran in July. They were supposed to be looking for records in a related view, but were listing Condition Filters that had nothing to do with that view.I tried changing them to use Conditions instead of a View, and there were condition filters defined, apparently from copying another automation and then modifying it. They have been this was as far as I know from the beginning, but worked based on the View filters until July.I have cleared out the unused condition filters and am waiting for the first run in August to verify it is fixed. Just wanted to figure out why they used to work and quit without changes on my part.

Good afternoon,I'm trying to use Airtable automations to send an email to folks through my Gmail account. Airtable is directly connected to my Gmail account. The emails send successfully, but the problem is that when the email shows up in the recipients' inboxes, the sender name is just my first name in all lower case (e.g., "matt"), but I'm sending it on behalf of an organization. This is unprofessional and isn't what I'm trying to communicate to my recipients. So my question is:How can I change the "Sender" on these emails when using Airtable Automations to send emails through my Gmail account?I already confirmed my Gmail settings, my Google account settings, etc. Honestly, it looks like it's just pulling the info from my email address (e.g., "matt" from "matt@company.com").Surely there's a way around this???TIA,ML

I wanted to share a recent experience in case anyone else has run into the same thing, and if not, to bring it to the community’s attention. It’s one of those odd edge cases that can cause a lot of confusion when troubleshooting automations, and I think it’s worth having on the radar for anyone building complex workflows. Recently, I was troubleshooting an automation that ran in an unexpected way. While reviewing the automation run logs and the record’s historical logs, I couldn’t figure out how it had been triggered. The revision history showed no relevant edits, yet the automation clearly had fired. After digging deeper and testing different scenarios, I eventually discovered the cause, the collaborator had unintentionally undone an action almost immediately after performing it, either by quickly unchecking a box or pressing Cmd+Z (or Ctrl+Z) on their keyboard. Airtable’s automation system is sensitive enough to register the initial change

When creating a trigger using the “When Record Matches A Condition”, is there a way to enter a table value into the matching field, other than a hard-coded value? For example, the table has 2 columns, [Cost] and [Original Cost]. Want to trigger an update when [COST] != [Original Cost], but it seems to only allow entering of an actual value. “When Record is Updated” trigger does work to accomplish this, but it can take about 10 seconds to update the destination field, and begins to execute the trigger the moment the value box is changed (If the value entered 100, it seems to run for 1,0,0 and then 100, as I can see the other fields updating with multiple values until the final value). Sometimes, if we type too quickly, it doesn’t update and will update based on “10” rather than “100”.

I'm building a script that will eventually be part of an automation to create records for upcoming coaching calls in one table based on conditions from a separate source table. We've successfully implemented a similar script and automation combo in another base, but I'm having trouble getting this one to function properly. When I run the script, no error messages appear, but none of the expected records are added to the destination table, despite the fact that the source records clearly meet the script’s conditions. I've triple-checked the data and logic, and everything appears to be in order. I'd appreciate help troubleshooting this issue and identifying what's preventing the script from creating records as expected.

I have a sign up process where users can invite other users to join their organisation. As such I have 3 key tables: Users; Invited Users; and Company Information. Users have a linked field to an Organisation ID field in the Company Information table so that the site can display information about the company they are assigned to. When a user invites a new user to join their organisation the Invited User table is updated with a new record including their Email, Name etc. anda linked field “Organisation ID, linked to the Company Information table. Then when an invited user signs up they are added to the Users Table and there is an automation that pulls over information from the Invited Users table like their access level and assigned Organisation ID. However, pulling over the Organisation Field results in a  "Field "Organisation ID" cannot accept the provided value: Cannot modify a computed field." error.I have tried changing the transfered value to a static value (plain

Hello,In an “Agent” table, there is a checkbox field called “Check.”I would like to be able to check all the boxes in this field at once for all the records displayed.I say “displayed” because sometimes there are filters based on certain criteria, and only the boxes for records that match the filter criteria should be checked.If you have any ideas on how to do this...Thank you.

I may be SOL but I am very new to Airtable and I’m wondering if there’s any way to delete a line of text containing a certain word within a record. Basically, I input records that all contain source information and the line of source info always begins with ‘Page’ - is there any way to delete that entire line from all records or am I stuck manually deleting it from every record? 

My script runs as an automation when the user clicks a button on an interface page.If the script fails, I log an error to the console, and I can find the error in the run history. But it would be nicer to display a message to the user if they are still on the interface page. Is that possible? Thanks!

trying to store latest revision on a HEADER record from multiple rows (each with an ascending revision) in the same table. The first row far right on HDR should be the max of 4 shown below. currently says 0.Have two views - HEADERS ONLY and REVS ONLY - so created a link to another record to use rollup.When there is a new revision in the REVS ONLY VIEW - I try to fire an automation that detects the new rev, and automatically copies the ME35 number into the field I use for the link…. argghhargghh…..does not want to work !!!! Ideas

I have an automation that has two find actions.Find a record (a person) on table 1  Find an interaction on table 2 After the two find actions have run, I have a conditional logic group in order to update the record from table 1. In the first condition, I want to check if a value from Table 2 exists on the record found on Table 1. The value is a formula field on Table 2. However, when I try to make a condition using a formula (either “Activation name” or the array version of that formula, “Activation name array,” it is greyed out and gives the error Cannot assign list of string with strings. How can I use a formula as a condition here? 

Hello im trying to build an ERP for my food business we manufacture and package fast food, so my main goal using airtable is to control raw materials, receiving of raw materials, production control, finished product control, recipes, and inventory.Since my Finished product (recipe) consists of various ingredients, im wondering if its possible to populate said ingredients taken from my recipe table to my production table every time I add (manually) the quantity of items to be produced in the day. or if the is a simpler solution would be great, im trying to control de raw materials consumption during production.    

Can’t imagine this isn’t a bug, but I’m open to hearing explanations. I have a table built from a Salesforce report sync. One field is Account Name. If account name contains a comma, lots of other things break because Airtable doesn’t handle commas correctly in linked records (there’s a feature request open to address this). So I have a very simple automation that should fix things.When a record enters a view I have 2 actions:Run a simple script to grab the account name, strip commas, write the new account name to a separate field in the table. This works fine. Send a Slack message that includes the new account name from that just-written field. This does NOT work. Account name is always empty in the Slack message.If I test the automation by generating a preview of the Slack message, the account name is there correctly, without commas.
