Hello,  At the moment we have our planning tool in google sheet - per name / per day / what to do (fixed sessions per week) I want to add the planning to my airtable base (which i have done now) BUT:at the moment i have per day - per person - per week But if i have to change the date every week - it will be a task extra How can I do this so that I have a planning for weeks/ maybe months etc..

I’ve run into a problem that I can’t solve.I’m using a Rollup field, and I need to get the total for the previous month.I’m using the filter “Date – is within – the past month”, but it gives me the total for both the current and previous months.When I set fixed dates for the previous month (from the 1st to the last day), the calculation works correctly.Below, I attached a screenshot with my filter settings and the result.I expected the numbers to be the same with this configuration, but they are different.The issue is that I can’t use fixed dates, because I need the period to be calculated dynamically.  

Hi team!I have to create an app to analyze interviews, extract discussed topics and suggest social media posts, based on the topics. Similar to the one Alex McDonnel showed here.It should have three datasets: Interviews, Topics and Posts. Omni created the app and filled it with some examples. Everything looks great, but when I add the new interview no topics or posts are created.Could you tell me how to fix it? 

Hello, I am syncing my calendar to Airtable, but once I did so out of the items on the calendar it is broken up into two separate kinds of events, so a sure-fire way to be able to separate and organize them is item one right now I have an automation whenever and events/ record is created it tags (single select) either one or the other with Nobody edit permission as very rare will items float between the different types. Secondly, so many of the calendar meetings are canceled or deleted. I want Airtable to follow when that happens, but also snap back live on the calendar if it is brought back into the calendar. Anything to help me head in the right direction would be appreciated.

Hello!I’m looking at building a forecasting tool for a seasonal sales business and I’m not sure the best way to set up the base table My dream is a Forecast App/Page (currently happy with out Softr interface) that; #1. has a list of all products, with 2024 sales, 2025 sales, and then an editable field for 2026 Forecasted Sales#2 can be expanded upon to see a listing of customers and their purchases of said product (ideally with quantities and gross margin)#3. The forecasting and customer sales data is only visible to the relevant salesperson (sales code) My question is; what is the best way to set up the database. Currently I have different tables for Salesperson, Customer, Items, 2024 Sales, 2025 Sales (this is over 6000 entries), and then a forecast table that summarizes total item sales per sales code for 2024 and 2025 and has that 2026 Forecasted Sales column. Am I on the right track, it seems like I’m

Our small creative team uses Airtable in a KanBan view to manage client workflow. Each client has a base. Within each base, we typically include the active teammate assigned to the task as a field on each record. This allows us to manage team bandwidth for that particular client, but we still have to manually manage our teams task assignments across various client bases.Is there a way to pull records from different bases within a shared team workspace? We’d like to have an internal view stacked by team member.

My sync stopped working even when I manually sync. When I have investigated what the issue is I did find out that sync stops working when the source base is inactive which could be the case here. But how do I fix this issue without losing any data? I have tried resyncing to the original view and also syncing to a duplicate view. I’m lost. 

I am seeking to set up a new base for my Podcast with all the lessons learned from using airtable the last several month, however I am unsure the best way to go about planning a whole new base.  Is there any suggestions for best practices?

I am evaluating various platforms to build a custom production scheduling application for a client.  Here are some details:Customers place orders for products they need produced Each order can have multiple line items for different products they would like produced Each order line item needs to be scheduled on one or more machines to be produced. The scheduled jobs for each line item need to be run sequentially, but not necessarily back-to-back.  In fact, some products need to sit for a set period of time after one job before it can be consumed by the next job to make the final product If the date of the first job scheduled for a line item needs to be adjusted ahead or back, the other subsequent jobs need to be adjusted by the same amount of time as well.  For example, if a customer orders “Product A”, which needs to run on “Machine 1” on 3/20, then “Machine 2” on 3/21, then “Machine 3” on 3/25, if the job scheduled on “Machin

I have an Airtable base for events I host. We get repeat attendees at the different events. I would like to send text messages to the participants at a particular event if they opt in for text messages. I have this all working.The issue I need help with is that I’d like to keep a master list of participants and their phone numbers who have already opted in at a previous event so they don’t have to opt-in every time. I’m looking for suggestions on how to handle this. When I add a participant for a new event, it needs to check the master opt-in table to see if there is a match. There will be records that don’t have a match as they have not completed the opt-in previously and opt-in records that won’t have a participant as they are not attending this event. As I write this, I’m wondering if an automation is where I need to go for this???

my question is regarding FormsI have a table countries with country name as main field.in my main table clients I have a field client_country filed which is a field linked to table countriesI want to create a Form view of the clients table.For the field "Client_Country I want to display a select dropdown to select a country among the list from the table countries  Instead of that, in the form besides the field Client_Country, I have a button "Add a file", which is not what I want  Can you please guide me to get the possibility to select one country from the list of countries ?  Many thanks in advance

 I’ve been building an Airtable app for my team (about 10 people) at a foundation. We make a lot of grants across different programs, and I’ve been trying to create a central hub for all of our work. So much of what we do overlaps that it just made sense to keep everything in one app rather than splitting it up.Right now I’ve got about 15 tables:  organizations, projects, tasks, budgets, inquiries (from email), notes, annual budgets, program budgets, etc. It’s a big base, but I’ve built separate interfaces for each program, so even though the back end is large, the front end feels really clean.Some folks on my team have suggested that each program should have its own app, with a master one where everything rolls up. I’m not sure that’s the best approach. it feels like it would add more work and complexity.Curious what others think.  has anyone else gone through this decision? Hello I thought this would be simple to figure out but somehow its not working for me.I have 4 tables.  They are all linked together.  Each field in everyone of these 4 tables has a common Dept Code (this is their link to each other).  Also in each of these fields is a field Associated Program.  At times we may need to edit the data in the Associated Program field.  If we do this I would like that update to appear in all the other tables as well.  I thought if I linked them this would be the case.  But they are linked on the dept code?  How can I create something that would update this other field in each of these tables.   Thank you, hope this makes sense.

Just posting this to check if there is some kind of systemic issue happening, or if this s***storm is unique to my Org. Airtable status says fully operational but something is definitely wrong.My Organization has several bases that are currently experiencing a complete collapse in their functionality. At the moment, we have 4 bases that cannot be accessed reliably, and 2 of these can’t be accessed at all. The bases can’t be loaded by any user, on any device, on any network. I’m an event promotor. I’ve been using AT for a while to keep track of community member applications, event details, and general ticket sales. I want to get a better sense of real time income via sale so I’d like to update the base.Right now, I have 3 tables in the base:Member List - Record for each member with personal info Events - Record for each event (Party A, Party B, Party C, etc) Ticket Types - Record for each type of ticket (Full price, 25% off, 50% off, comped, etc)None of these include price of the ticket and I would like to start tracking that.Thinking the tables should be this, but I’m not sure:Member List - Same as above Events - Same as above, but add in pricing columns for different ticket types — Tier 1 = $90, Tier 2 = $100, Tier 3 = $110, etc. The pricing can change from event to event so the amounts cannot be a universal across all events. Hi everyone 👋I’m trying to find the best way for multiple users to import data (from XLS or CSV files) into the same base — ideally directly through an Interface rather than the Extensions panel.We’ve tried the CSV Import Extension, but: The import mapping doesn’t save across users. Even for the same user, it sometimes resets or forgets the previous mapping. There’s no way to create or reuse “import templates” for different file types or tables. What we’d really like is: A way for different users to upload a file (XLS or CSV) through an Interface form or button, Automatically import it into a target table using a consistent field mapping, And ideally store those mappings permanently (so no need to re-map each time). I feel like I’m missing something pretty easy. I’m having a hard time converting what I do in Excel into our Airtable base. Each year our clients' total sales (a rollup of their sales for a given year) converts to shares based on a sales/shares tier. The tier changes every year. Because of this, we want to track the data historically. For example:Client ABC’s 2024 Total Sales were $250,000 and they earned 4 shares based on the 2024 shares tier.Client ABC’s 2025 Total Sales were again $250,000, but this year they earned 2 shares because the tiers changed in 2025. We need to track the tier changes each year as to keep data integrity of the shares earned each year by our clients. (We don’t want ABC’s 2024 points to change from 4 to 2, which it would if we use a nested if formula - the change in criteria for 2025 would mean an edit to the formula which would have a cascade affect and change all previous year's data.) ANNUAL

Hi All, I have a field of type multi select option in airtable form. I would like to prefill that using Prefilling form feature of airtable. I have referred below airtable documentation for the same. But, this option didn’t work out for me. Airtable Support
