I am creating an interface for my team. I want to allow them to choose between a gallery and a grid to view the information. However, the "Allow users to switch visualizations" toggle is not there, and I can't seem to find a setting that would have made it disappear. Is this a bug or is there some other reason why the toggle option is not available?

Hello, I am looking for a way to combine five fields (address, second address line, zip code and city) to a new multiline text field when another field "second zip code" has a value. So here is an example of the five fields: Address: 220 Miller AvenueSecond Address line: Apartement 50Zip Code: 22033City: ParisCountry: FranceThis values should be combined to the multiline text field "complete address" (with a line break "\n" after each line, except between the zip code and city): 220 Miller AvenueApartement 5022033 ParisFranceBut the six fields should only be combined if the field "second zip code" has a value (i.e. 22033). Is this possible somehow with a formula field?Thanks for help, Michael

Hi everybody I am new to airtable and trying to put a class scheduling together. I have mostly been using the template and learning through trial and error. Now I have produced a weird error that does not seem to impact the functionality but is very annoying.I am using the formulaCONCATENATE(Course, " | ",{Instructor})and it gives me the correct result (e.g. 100:Contract Essentials | Kevin)but all results are now between "" (e.g. "100:Contract Essentials | Kevin")where previously the resulting line did not display ""So now I have a number of rows without "" and all new data has the ""Any idea what I should do? any help would be appreciated

Hi - I have a newbie question here. I am writing a script with the script block to write a value into a single select field but I keep bashing my head against the wall. Can someone give me some guidance? Here’s the short and skinny: If I use the below, it all works, because the “ZIP CODE” field is of type “single line text”. I can write “12345” into it all day long. let newPreference = "12345"; // update the notes history value and reset the notes value VoterTable.updateRecordAsync(record, { "ZIP CODE": newPreference }) However, in the below, the “PARTY” field is of type “single-select”. One of the options is “Green” but I cannot write “Green” into the field at all. In fact, I cannot write ANY of the options into the field at all. I tried prepending the ordinal value as “11Green” and “11|Green” (Green is the 11th value) and nothing works. Hello!I'm trying to organize a set of tasks that start from "two weeks ahead" of an event. Using fields such as duration or date will have me pick a specific date/time for which I don't have information. I just need those set of tasks to show "this lasts 2 weeks", or "prepare 1 week in advance" and I'm not sure how could I accomplish this using a timeline (I like the visuals that offer). Any ideas are appreciated!

Original base primary field was not useful [Newbie design]. It is 312 records. The data will not change and no records will be added or deleted.I copied data from another field (same field type - single line text) which will also not be changed. I did a copy & paste from the second field to the primary field. The data copied from the second field has dependencies.Question: Can I change the dependencies from the second field to the primary field or should I just 'Hide" the second field?

HelloWondering if someone can help me with something I am struggling with - but thought would be easy!I have an attachment field in one of my tables, and most records have upwards of 10 images.  I'd like to set up a sync'd base which only shows the first image in the array.I created a second attachment field called - "Main image" - but for the life of me, I can't work out how to automatically populate that field, with just the first image from the attachment field.Any ideas?Many thanks,Andrew

Hello !I'm sure it's very simple but I need some help because I'm trying several ways to do this without success at all...I'm trying to do that :I'm in the same base but I've 2 tables, one for customer list and one for machines list. Both are sync from another base.- In table 1, when I pass the customer's statute to "completed", I would like, in table 2, all the statuses of the client's machines to change to "completed" too.For example, when I pass the X customer to "completed" in table 1, all the X customer's machines in table 2 pass to "completed". Most of errors that I had was "record doesn't exist" or "invalid input"...Thanks a lot !

HiIf anyone has any ideas about this I would be very grateful - I can't quite see a way through this one!One of the elements of the system I'm building schedules the use of specific tools. I would like to be automatically notified if a tool is double-scheduled, ie. if the duration of a booking clashes with another booking.As far as I'm aware, there isn't a way of defining timespans in terms of dates in Airtable, other than visually in a timeline or gantt view. The furthest I've got towards a solution is to work with start dates and durations, but I feel like this will get pretty complicated, and would need to include a complex set of IF() formulae that I can't quite fathom out.If anyone can see a clear way through, or just has any logical ways to progress, I would be very grateful.I'm also open to scripting solutions if that's the cleanest way forward.Jon

Is there a way to view the weekend days together on the calendar? It seems obvious but I can’t find an option. I use Airtable for content planning by week and it’s always confusing to have Sunday tacked onto the following week. Thanks in advance!

I’m trying to set up the new hootsuite automation that is in beta. All fields are filled and permission for automation to be used are on, but when I run the test I get the error message “Hootsuite reported an error while processing this action: This social profile type is not supported by our API at this time” Is there a way to fix this? Is it a known bug?

Question on the following formula.  I have tried just about anything and everything to get this formula field to only calculate the score based on after the date.  The formula works perfectly fine without using any date fields. Form type (single choice option), LH_GC_Def_1 (checkbox) field.   Current working formula for field GC#IF({Form Type}="QCLH",IF(LH_GC_Def_1=1,0,3))+IF({Form Type}="VOICE",IF(LH_GC_Def_1=1,0,2))+IF({Form Type}="QCLH",IF(LH_GC_Def_2=1,0,3))+IF({Form Type}="VOICE",IF(LH_GC_Def_2=1,0,2)) If I try to add in the date field to the GC# column (date of session field) using an operator, it looks like some portions are scored correctly and some are completely wrong, like it is only counting a portion. I have also tried to use IS_AFTER but the formula fails to work, or pulls up an ERROR!.  Any thoughts?

Hi everyone,I've been searching airtable forums for hours yet I can't find a solution that clearly explains what I need to do to achieve my desired results. There are different answers talking about using MIN() or something other formula, but I can't get it to work for me.I have a lookup field that pulls date entries from another table, but there are many duplicate entries I can't remove.So I used ARRAYJOIN(ARRAYUNIQUE(values), '\n') in the column beside it to rollup the fields and finally remove the duplicate entries. The problem is there are times attached to all entries as "T00:00:00.000Z" and all I want is the date part. For the life of me I can' figure out a way to get rid of them. Is there a way to achieve this result somehow? or to Format the dates?Any help explaining what I need to do exactly would be helpful, thank you.

We have a system for reviewing new tools where they are checked for meeting accessibility standards and security standards. These are two separate teams with different workflows. The integration team needs to know when a tool review is considered complete.I have two columns; one for the accessibility phase, one for security phase. I'm trying to make a formula for overall review status. There are multiple decision statuses for each. I would like to make the formula display either "Awaiting Decision" or "Review Complete". Review Complete would show if both columns have a value that indicates a decision was made.For example, for tool A, the accessibility status = Testing Not Required and security status = Complete, it should be marked Review Completed in the formula column.For tool B, the accessibility status = Completed and security status = Intake, it should be marked as "Awaiting Decision".I've tried a variety of IF(FIND( arrangements but I can't seem to get it right. I have two tables: Employees and Licenses. I created a view, named Current Licenses, on the Licenses table.  This view ensures that only the active license for an employee is displayed.I linked the Employees table to the Licenses table, specifying the view: Unfortunately, the list of Licenses in the Employees table includes the non-currently licenses.Am I doing something wrong?

Apologies if this has already been addressed elsewhere, I couldn't find a similar post and need to get this off my chest 🙂I'm desperate to have the functionality available to add new linked records through an element on an interface in whatever layout / style I need (List, Grid, Kanban...etc). Right now it appears the only way to do this is to add a "Field" element from the linked records, and use the "card" layout.When you add an element like a list, kanban, grid...etc that shows linked records, I want to filter those linked records by the main parent record, AND have the ability to add new linked records to parent record through one of these element layouts.Each element filters properly and appears to keep the button where adding new linked record should be, though it's grayed out, locked, and displays a tool tip saying "this feature is not currently available....etc"The verbiage of the alert leads me to think this is a feature that's coming very soon, or AT would have just r

My table has a Rollup field (let's call it 'Titles Field').I used the ARRAYJOIN(values, ', '), so the titles are separated by commas.However, I want to add a Formula Field that show only the Newest/Latest title added to the rollup field.Please advise.
