Hello!So i was wondering if it was possible to create a formula (or combine formulas) in order to use the data from one date field and add 7 days to it in another. and then filter it if the project status matches certain conditions.I got the first part to work using: DATEADD({Project Date}, 7, "days") which worked perfectly,  but im not sure if its possible to then have it say "not needed" or even have it be blank if the project type matches certain conditions and still show the date if it matches other conditions! I also tried this:IF(OR({Project Type} = "Wedding",{Project Type} = "Elopement"),DATEADD({Project Date}, 7, "days"),IF(AND(OR({Project Type} = "Couples",{Project Type} = "Family"),"Not Needed","Not Needed"))) which kinda worked but it only filled in the wedding date status and not of the other options. Let me know if that makes sense and if you can help please 🙂

Hello,I have a formula column where I dynamically build a string of characters. Everything is fine to build the new string.However, when I copy and paste (Command-C) the cell, I end up with a character " added at the beginning and end of the new string but also, by consequence, in the middle of my content if it detects a " character.It automatically doubles it! GrrrHow can I eliminate this problem? Thanks for your help. I am getting crazy.

I've seen some posts regarding this same issue, but no recent workable solutions so I'm posting again. This automation hasn't run for a few weeks (since June 😎 and no changes were made but it's no longer working. The step failing is sending an email. I get a message: "An attachment url is disallowed". The entire automation goes like this:1. When X form is submitted (including Z attachment)2. Find record (where record ID matches record ID)3. Send an email to Y email address with Z attachment (from X form submission). I have a "Person" table that has birth date. On another table, I lookup that birthdate to find the person's current age when "Event" happened. Next year, a new "Event" will have different age for the person (as they are a year older). But I need to know what age they were at each "Event"So how do I create a column of ages that are dynamic on entry, but don't change once they are entered?

I want to have my date of payment updated automatically to the next month whenever it is reached but I am having some issues with having it to work. I already have a trigger that executes emails once the date of payment is a week to or has been reached.

New to Airtable and it's formulas - what I'm trying to do is create a simple Hours of Operation setup where a user can select the days of the week a business is open (stored in Open Days), add the open hours for each day, then combine the values to show the complete hours of operation (combined in Hours of Operation field). I'm starting with just Monday and Tuesday and I don't seem to be able to put two IF formulas within the same record. Only the Monday IF/FIND formula works and not the Tuesday. If I delete the Monday portion and leave the Tuesday, then the Tuesday portion works. That's what makes me think that you can only have a single IF formula (as well as nested IFs) and not more than one. I included screenshots and my formulas. Hello! I'm new to Airtable and trying to create a formula field based on a date field. The formula should add 1 year to the date (the easy part), then round up to the half year beginning January 1 or July 1. For example,  5/15/23 would calculate 7/1/24; and 10/2/23 would calculate 1/1/25. Any and all help is appreciated!

Hi I cannot figure out how to, if it is even possible, to update a specific field ( which is currently blank ), with specified text, which is appended on to the back of another fields data, within the same record, when a third field matches a certain condition. A bit of a tongue twister, apologies. For example :I have 3 fields, namely status, name and surname.First field :  Status Second field : surname Third field : left blank The first field ( status ) is populated with Awaiting order completion. The second field ( surname ), is populated with deer.  Every time I change the status to order complete, I would like the third field ( which is blank ), to be auto populated with the second fields data ( surname ), deer in this instance, and have specified text appended. Hey guys,I'm trying to set up an easy way to track budgets within my club. There are multiple subteams in the club with each their own budget, and I want them to be able to submit orders to me so that I can place them and then have a live update on a total of how much each team has spent. I want it set up where if I select a checkbox, that means that order price gets added to the total spent in another tab.I am running into the issue where if any of the checkboxes are selected then all the payment totals get summed at once rather than just the singular order I checked. Also, if I ever uncheck a box, I want that to also be reflected. I'll leave a video below with some of my issue to clear it up.

Title pretty much says it all.  I found the article covering how to create a GCal automation in general.  I don't see anywhere in here where you can specify that, for instance, all invited attendees should be able to edit the event or add more attendees.  From what I can see playing around in GCal's native web client, you can set a default property for the client that when creating events in any calendar you have access to, it should use a particular setting for attendee access level:This is a "General" setting, not a setting belonging to any of your individual calendars.So I'm pretty sure if you wanted to have events get created with any setting other than making attendees read-only, that change needs to come from the client side, i.e. AirTable needs to enable choosing this setting in the Automation.

Hi All, I'm working on a base that needs several fields to be adjustable to display a date or text. Right now the date is being pulled from some formulas but the text is an option should the user need to add a note there instead. I'd really like to keep this all in one field instead of having a date field and a note field since this is duplicated across several different date fields. I can't figure out how to add a step to the formula to first check if something is text vs a number. Any suggestions?   

Hi there, Apologies if this is a bit elementary: I've created a URL field in a base, and I want to create a button in an Interface that will reference the link inside it and when clicked, take you to that page in a new tab. However, whenever I click "Go to URL in Record" option, it says unconfigured source and nothing comes up.  How do I fix this?  Thanks, Peter

Hi there,I have a table which has all of the raw data from form submissions. I want to run some automations to change the format of email addresses, home addresses etc. However, I don't want to replace the raw data with the cleaned version, I want to have a table of the raw data and a table for the cleaned data. I want to clean the data as the forms are submitted. Is there a way to sync the data such that any new form submissions in Table A (raw) get put into Table B (cleaned), but which would allow me to then run automations and edits on the data in Table B without editing any data in Table A? Thanks!

 I have created a webflow logic triggered by a form. The data of the form is sent to airtable. Currently receiving the following error: "error": { "type": "INVALID_REQUEST_BODY", "message": "Could not parse request body"however tests are running successfully. Please see below: In webflow's community someone said to check JSONlint and this is occurs: let me know if there is any additional information I can provide in order to clarify. Hello, I have a problem with an automation that works intermittently. I tried to follow the errors one by one to try to understand why sometimes it works and sometimes not! First records are created in a table (A) from a “Typeform” form which also fills in a “Parent record ID”. Then the automation must update records on another table (B) found from the “parent ID”. There is no problem to create the records on Table (A). But the automatism which is supposed to update the table (B) does not always work… it drives me crazy! An automation that is incorrectly configured never works! An automation may occasionally fail for x reasons. But when it only works 2 out of 3 times… it’s weird. Note that these issues arose after the new “conditional actions” were implemented last week…not sure if it’s related. Have any of you had issues like this? Thank you for your help.

Hi Community,I have interface with many layouts and with most, I have to allow users to (+ Add Records )  but then if they x out of that window it still creates an empty record and links it! how can I prevent this behavior and still give users the ability to link and or create new records from that button? If users change their minds and decided not to create a new record and just click the X button without putting any data records still getting created! Appreciate any input

Hi Everyone, I am struggling to develop a formula to determine which position in an array another field is located. Here is my example: The Array of Trans# is 2239, 4539, 4792, 8912, 10394 I am trying to find a formula that says Trans# 4792 is in position 3, Trans# is in position 1, Trans# 8912 is in position 4, etc. I can use FIND to tell me the starting position of the string, but cannot figure out to determine which position Trans# is. Have spent the day trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong and I'm totally stumped. Trying to write a formula to populate a status. If a person's start date is today or after, and their end date is today or after OR end date is blank, return "Onboarding." If a person's start date is before today, and their end date is after today, return "Active." If a person's start date and end date are in the past, return "Alumni." Those are working fine. BUTI also want to return "error" when there is something in the start date and the end date is empty. In my table there are two people with a start date, missing an end date, and it's returning "Alumni." Formula pasted below...Help! Hi AT Community,I'm creating an automation email within Airtable that uses percentage field data from my table.  I have set the precision to one decimal place (1.0) in the field column. However, when testing the automation, the preview shows that the token data percentage with 10 decimals (1.000000000), which looks ridiculous. Anyone know why this is happening? I know the workaround is a single-line entry, but I'd prefer to be able to enter the data as the percentage number, as that's how the information comes to us.Appreciate your help!

Hello!I'm creating a base that will capture all of my sales. The base consists of a customer table, products table, sales table, and I'd like a goals table. Ideally, the goals table would be have a column for the month/year, my goal amount of sales for that month, the actual sales made, and then a column that tells me how far from (under or over) the goal I am for that month. Similarly, I'd like to do the same for yearly goals, where it can show me the yearly goal total (based on the sum of each month in that year I'd set), what my actual sales for the year are, and how far from my goal (over or under) I am. My sales table already captures mm/yyyy and individually the month & year for the date of the sale so I'm pretty positive I can link a sale to the monthly goal record based on that month/year field with an automation.I'm just hitting roadblocks with how I show both monthly and yearly in the same table.
