Hello.My time zone is Israel.I defined the time zone of Israel in the Date and Time field. But when I run formulas or automation on it, it refers to the registered time, as if it were GMT/UTC and this disrupts all my automations.Is there a solution for this?

Trying to create a automation. I want to have it when a occurrence is created, it will get a count, with date, and filter by user. And if criteria is met, it will send a email? Prefer not script has i dont have team right now

I have a formula field that returns the URLs of an attachment field. If there's only one attachment, it returns one URL in parentheses. But multiple attachments take this form: "File Name 1 (URL 1), File Name 2 (URL 2)".Here is an example: "Screenshot 2023-07-03 141051.png (https://dl.airtable.com/.attachments/c53420d1c5692651db4f6c34e5ddc19f/8256aa0b/Screenshot2023-07-03141051.png), Screenshot 2023-06-23 130019.png (https://dl.airtable.com/.attachments/1d08cfcdd7ce28fa575f0c20738ae2ea/bc5c5421/Screenshot2023-06-23130019.png)".I want to write a formula that will extract only the URL in the last set of parentheses, no matter how many other files are listed in the cell (or just the single URL if there's only one file). In other words, I want to extract the URL of the most recently uploaded attachment, which is always the last one listed in the cell.

My Ask: What methods can be done to direct or redirect automation error notifications to other base users.For many of the builds, I create the automations thus all error notifications come to me when an automation fails. From what I read, if I want another user to receive them, they have to be the one that creates the automation and turns it on. I would need them to ‘duplicate’ the automation and delete the original.Most of these errors come with the interactive actions involving ‘humans’. A prime example is when a form submitter does not enter their email in correctly thus a confirmation email does not execute. These are operational details that the person I built it for can handle and address. I hate to be the go between for these errors or do something fancy with my inbox to forward them to other users.Thoughts in other methods or do the duplicate way? We are looking to get Zapier that might be a method toward a solution.

Hi,Is it possible to somehow filter users away from interface dropdowns relying on a "User" field?We currently see both admin users, Airtable support users and some user's older user names in the dropdowns, which confuses people who should choose e.g. next handler for a topic.Rgds,BjörnPS. Related to this topic, would be nice to see user groups in Airtable. That would solve the need above.

This is probably very basic for some of you but I’m new to this … I can’t figure it out. I have an automation that sends me an email of today’s tasks every day 7am. But if there are no tasks, I still get the email, but its an error, as below. Subject: Something went wrong with an automation: Send a daily digest - Airtable Any way to NOT send email if the task list is empty? I have tried conditional actions, (but the only conditions allowed relate back to the trigger - which is time based). Thanks

When I’m adding records, and I need to add a record in a related table, I have the option to do so through the gallery view but not in the form view. I would like to have that option in the form view as well. How?

Hello, I was hoping to get some guidance on what I’m doing wrong in regards to updating the “completed by” field on a salon “shift duties” board interface. My partner built the base/interface for her salon and has asked for help in making the automation work.The goal would be to change the drop-down for each task to “not done” every night via a scheduled trigger.I’ve found a few related topics and used those to guide me but I can’t seem to get past testing the actual record updating part.If I utilize the list of record IDs from the ‘find records’ step, I end up with ‘ received invalid input’ errors.My automation process:Scheduled Trigger → Find Records (Where “Completed By” is any of [all options selected]) →  Repeating Action Group (Repeat for each in [List of records]) and →  Update Record (Record ID is list of all records found previously - “Completed By” field updated to “not done”)A couple pics of my attempt:I would love to know what I’m doing wrong! 😑Pic of the interface for con

I have two tables, Table 1 and Table 2, with different fields. When a specific record is populated in Table 2, I want the values of some of its fields to automatically appear in a corresponding record in Table 1where the cells were initially empty,  based on the primary fields of both tables, I’m calculating a total in Table 1 based on entries into records in several tables and need to have the total in Table1  automatically updated whenever the values change in the other tables. What is the best way to achieve this? IOW, what is the equivalent of XLOOKUP or Index Match in Airtable? 

hi dear folks, I’m wondering, if I build the Base according to a specific project, once this project has been completed, how could I archive it? For instance, if I start from a Base on “house hunting”, after serval months, when I found the house, literally I shall not use this base anymore, it is no longer make sense to keep it on the workspace as well, and what’s the solution for the archive it in the local disk? Or do I need to archive it? Thanks for any pieces of advice.

I try to create CSV backup exports of all my bases as often as I remember. However, going through everything manually is a lot of work and leads to “not doing it” more often than not. I wish there was a way to automate this important backup process. Can this be done through an outside service maybe? Thanks in advance!

Hi,I'm approaching launch for my first Airtable application, a support/ERP/CRM system for my wife's business (two users currently planned). Is there an agreed upon best practise how to launch a production version but yet be able to continue developing the application?I have little real experience in application management, although I have managed some LAMP applications with SQL updates and diffing PHP. I thought I would keep the current base as PROD, make a back-up of it and assign that a DEV role and continue developing new stuff there. But how to migrate changes from DEV to PROD?Rgds,Björn

I'm finally making great progress and haven't been frustrated enough to quit yet, so I think I'm going to be able to make this (along with fillout) to help support my makerspace.  I hope to eventually move from the free plan to Teams once I know I have all the major pieces in place.But once I do, and we're using it, I'm concerned that my future clugey attempts to add functionality might break operations.  Is there any concept of development, QA and production versions of a workspace?

 Not sure what to title this.In a record detail interface page, there is the option to add a button and perform an action. (Yes, love it!) But it doesn’t seem like the option exists here to add a new record in a different base via a form—the dropdown on the right doesn’t seem to allow it. And unfortunately, “Interface Forms” for some reason still don’t count as “Interface Pages”, so I can’t click on “Go to interface page” and click on my form.The best current option seems to be “Go to external URL”, and put in the URL of the form. But that seems to only open my desired form inconsistently:open external URL in same tab = overwriting my current page, and there’s no way to complete that form, then hit a “back” button to get back to my record detail open external form URL in new tab = often it just doesn’t open.My ideal would be to click on the button, open another modal with the form, which I could complete, then close, and still have the record detail at-the-ready.Does that make sense? Hey All,I am trying to add a button to an interface which will simply duplicate the existing record the interface is looking at.  The Interface is a quote builder and we often want to make different iterations of a quote for a customer.  I know we can simply go to the grid view, find the record, right click and duplicate the record, but I am trying to not give my sales team access to that level of data.  You know how sales teams are.  😉 I imagine a script of some sort would work, but I'm more of a no-code guy, so I'm looking for some help.  Thank you for your time.

I am new to Airtable and created my first form a few days ago using the new Form Builder interface. After the fact, I realized there was a field I hadn't included that I'd like to prefill. I read through all the various instructions on prefilling by altering the URL - all makes sense to me - but I can't figure or WHERE to do the URL edit in the Form Builder interface? I can copy the form URL to the clipboard, but WHERE to I put it where the alteration to the URL will be pulished and saved?Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

NPO TEAM ACCOUNT (just to let folks know)So I love having master sync tables and create views off them for different usages in a base.For example: I have a common base for State and Country, absolutely love this, and use it across a lot of our bases for different purposes.In our CRM we use it for Contact, Company, Communities, Speaker/Facilitator Bureau, Charity Compliance, and Grants tables.  There are some privacy requirements, and access controls that we have in place.I have set a VIEW -  States, just for lookup that does not show ANY other fields except the STATES field.So why if the view doesn’t show any of the other fields (where it is being used in the other tables) why does the individual record show. And then when I open it up - I see all the other areas I really don’t want some of my team messing with.Have I missed how to not show the other tables?Yes, I know I could make an interface but some of us like to work in a different manner, and bulky block interfaces are not our th

My Make.com module is returning "Status Code Error: 403" and I can't connect up my Airtable. I initially had it working and then created some new bases, so I generated a new Personal Access Token. Not working. Have tried different permissions. Logging out, logging in (I know). Etc.  Any suggestions?

I’m exporting data to a pdf via Typeflow. One of the fields is a Link to multiple records, which happen to be street addresses.  When I export the data to a pdf, the default view is to separate each linked record by a comma.  I’m trying to create a line break instead of a comma.   I created a formula field with SUBSTITUTE(Addresses,”,”,”\n), however the street addresses contain commas, so this didn’t work. Any ideas for another work around?   Huge thanks in advance.  Current format:Record 1, Record 2, Record 3 Desired format:Record 1Record 2Record 3etc

Oh hello there! I am working with a team that is developing a base to capture competitor profiles. Within the base we have an organizational overview tab, contacts tab, program information tab, and a SWOT Analysis tab where we'd like to fill out the data on the competitors' strengths (from a drop down), weaknesses (from a drop down), opportunities (from a drop down), and threats (from a drop down) (among a few other things unnecessary to mention). What I'd like to do is have a matrix template that will pull in those selected drop down items and look something like the below for each organization/competitor. Would the matrix or page design extension be best for this? Might there be a better tool? I have some serious beef with the page design view and how limited it is - or perhaps in my case, just not intuitive enough to be impactful. Any ideas would be incredibly welcome. Thank you!

I have two table A and B, table A has product status variable that tracks the different phases of product and helps with different views to see specific inventory. Table A is also linked to table B, I would like to be find a way to edit table A’s status field from B once I am done processing it instead of manually going to A to change it. so far I couldn’t find a way to change. any advise is highly appreciate.
