Hi,In my Airtable, I have a simple Work Order app, connected to Softr.My tables are: Owners, Units, Work Orders. All 3 tables are linked.I would like to automate (autofill?)  “Owner’s Name Surname” in Work Orders  tableWhen a user chooses an Unit (like in WO 6),  Owner’s Name Surname  should be automatically filled (in WO 6 -  “John Doe”).(I can rearrange  Owners  table, and make   Owner’s email   as primary field, if that will help)I have tried different Automations, but I couldn’t make it. Thank you very much. 

I just tried out automating sending some emails with Airtable. Is there a way to remove the Airtable branding? The „via Airtable“ in the from field, as well as the „Sent via Automations on Airtable“ at the bottom? Thanks!

Hi all,I have a very strange behaviour with Airtable attachments together with make.comIn a loop in make,com, I create 4 images using FLUX.  I upload the generated images using "Create a record" module together with some other data (attachment column type) The images are correctly uploaded to the Airtable. Later in the same scenario I use the “Search records” module in order to retrieve the 4 rows with the images The rows and data are retrieved correctly but in *some* cases (this can’t be reproduced) the returned data for one of the images  contains only the ID and the original URL (that I used to upload the image) instead of the Airtable data with the airtable URL and the thumbnails, etc..See the screenshots:The first one shows the Create Record and the circled field contains the URL for the upload The second shows the wrong result for one image (yellow) and the correct result for another (green) The thirds shows the output bundles which make it obvious that there’s a difference.Any i

Have built 4 tables to collect inventory information on our fire department’s truck inventory.Tables:cabinets i.e. E-211 Cab. #1 items i.e. 2 1/2” Brass Male to Male Coupler inventory: list and # of item in each cabinet archive inventory: because the governing body wants it.I am trying to create this using Interfaces. What I am trying to do is use a Record Review template that has the cabinets in the left pane and the inventory items for each cabinet in the right pane. I have been successful in that. I have a working Inventory Interface page. The item list is complete (2,501 items). The Cabinet list is complete (65 cabinets).Truck Captains will use an iPad to open Airtable to the Inventory interface and choose one of the truck/cabinets they are responsible for from the left hand list and check off the inventory items they find. Hello, Currently I have a date field called Date, I would like to make a formula that looks at this date and outputs the first Tuesday of the previous month.Example{date} - Shows March 13, 2025Formula - Should show February 4, 2025 (First Tuesday of Previous Month)I was able to find the 1st date of the previous month utilizing this, but I cannot seem to figure out how to get the first Tuesday. DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD(DATEADD({Date}, -1, 'month'), -(DAY({Date}) - 1), 'days'),"MM/DD/YYYY") 

I see several posts that are similar to my question, but I haven't been able to find the actual solution yet.  I have a database of all our locations, and at any given time we have about 40 pending locations. I'd like to send an automated email to the listed manager each month asking for an update until the status is changed from pending to open.  Some managers have multiple pending locations at one time so I'd like to only send one email per manager rather than multiple if there are several pending in their area. There's probably a few ways to do this, but for now I have a rollup column on a different table that breaks down by district all the pending locations.Any thoughts?

Hey all,I’m getting the dreaded “received invalid inputs” but it’s not specific.I have a form that someone fills out to get a “certificate” number in another table.There’s a specific view for the Non-Assigned certificates. There are two tables, one that stores the form’s data, and another that has a listing of certificate numbers and such. Now I’d set it up as such: Then the Find Records settings:  Not sure what else to do???   

Hello!I created a Project Template base that has various phases and steps with our design process. This base will be duplicated and renamed as new projects come in.I also created a separate Project Dashboard base, to be used to get a birds eye view of all the active projects going on at once.In the Project Template base there’s a table with a name, assignee, and project status fields. This grid view is synced to the Project Dashboard.Once I duplicate the project template base and rename it to the new project, is there a way to pull in the new name of the base into the name field?I didn’t see anywhere in the functions to pull in the base name. I was able to generate the base name using the script extension +  output.text(`${base.name}`);, but I don’t see a way of bringing that information into the name field.Thank you for your help!

Hi Airtable Friends,I need help. Since I couldn’t squeeze all the Product fields I needed to see at-a-glance into the Record View template, I laid them out onto a Blank Canvas. But when I add the List element, it doesn’t display a list of products as would have been the case with the Record View template. Instead, it only allows me to choose from one of the Link to Record fields. If I change the source to “Products”, I see the list of products—but it’s not at all connected to the record view fields. Really hoping some of you  geniuses out there have ideas! Thanks in advance!  

Hi, I want to be able to copy the result in one field into another single-line text file so that I can look it up. The first field is multi-select. All I want to do is convert it into a single-line text field. I need this to look up the text from another table. I need to do this because the first field is already a lookup in this table from yet another, and I need to be able to link some of the details from a third table altogether. I hope this is making sense. I don’t know how else to explain it. Thanks S

See screenshots below - I've used the "find records" option many times, and always restrict it to a specific view.  Only this time, and any time I test the find records action anywhere globally, it suddenly seems to stop at 10 records. The description still lists the limit as 100 records, it just stops at 10.  The view in question has 52 records in it. I've even went so far as to test this on older automations which we've since stopped using (afraid to touch any currently running automations for fear they might stop working properly).I've recreated the automation, refreshed the page, re-sorted/grouped records, but have not been able to work around the issue.Has anyone else ran into this?

Hi community members, I’m setting up an automation that triggers based on the date but running into a problem with getting the values of the record that triggered the automation… To give you context, the main table is "Reservation" and contains all details of the reservation. In it, there is also a linked field "Yacht" which points to another table "Yachts". I have also added 2 lookup fields in Reservations : yacht name and yacht model. I defined the input variables but when I want to output them, the linked fields are empty arrays (see screenshots below). Please advise on how to fix it because I need to pass these values via webhook for further use.  

Here's a question for you all,If you have a check box that asks a question such as [Would you like to add this service?] Where checked is yes. How can I get a formula field to fill with a price result?i.e. IF({New Service}, ….{New Service} Being the checkbox field. Hello, I want to know if there is a formula to identify a text within a link cell, in this cell conditions that a home meets appear. Example: unreleased, released, foundation, walls, roof, finishes, finished. I want the formula to identify if the cell evaluated says without releasing the result is UNSTARTED, if it contains released the result is IN PROCESS or if it contains finished, the result is TERMINATED. I have tried with the IF formula, but I have not succeeded. Thank you 

Hello,I am endeavoring to create a social-media post manager/tracker to coordinate reposting of the same centrally-approved content on the same dates by many different agencies for various campaigns.  The first table contains a record for each content item with the posting date(s) assigned, along with the agencies who will need to post; since there may be multiple posting dates, instead of a Date field, I have added a table just for dates to make this a Linked Record selection.  My second table, which has a row for each selectable date, pulls in the content to be posted on each selected date with a lookup for the agencies tied to each. This is intended to be the table that contains views specific to each agency for their own status updates, filtered to show each agency's approved content assignments (via the "Msg Approved by City" checkbox). This is how I would like it to work when the base is put into use.  Note that I tried to use Autonumber for the primary f

I’m working on a voting app, where there are tons of enhancements. There’s a ‘Votes’ field which is of type ‘User.’ Users can add their names to that field in order to vote for that enhancement. This is based on a simple, single table.I want to have an interface page that lists enhancements that have gotten votes, sorted by the number of votes each has gotten. So if I add my name to that Users-type field, the number of votes for that enhancement goes up by one, and the sorted list of enhancements by number of votes gets appropriately updated.I thought I could just do a calculated field with this formula: COUNTALL({Votes})However, that’s giving me a value of one (1) for each record, even though right now most fields have no entries and a few have 2 or three.I’ve only done pretty basic things with Airtable, so I’m hoping there’s a simple way to do this and I just can’t get google to find it for me. Any help you can offer would be appreciated! 

I use Airtable as a logbook for the vehicle (TABLE1). Each row = one trip. I would like to use automation to send myself an email when an oil change is due. So I need to total the miles driven (from TABLE1) and compare that to when the oil change is due, which should be placed in another table (TABLE2).Is it possible to create one record in TAB2 that still shows the current SUM column from TAB1 (same number as in the summary bar)?I don't want to use a rollup that has to be manually updated each time.

I built a project management tool using softr as the UI. I am looking to build an airtable automation that sends and email upon various triggers with the airtable data. The triggers seem to work fine, I am having trouble pulling in the data I need from related records in other tables. The data structure in this example would be:Project Table - has a field containing project members. Hi,I’m experimenting with the RLP with DNA 2023 Airtable template.  I’m trying to personalize the column headings and can’t figure out how to do what I want after reading the Airtable help.  Can someone please tell me the following?  It's really a general question about copying/pasting a column field from one tab to another.I made a new field called “My Tree” and inserted it on the DNA Match Details tab.  But, now how do I insert that same “My Tree” column on the Kit Access tab?Thanks! 

Hi, I have an automation that triggers on record update. But it triggers whilst I’m still typing instead of once i finish and press enter. Is there a way i can tell it to wait until the user ahs finished entering the data (aka pressed enter) and then run? Thanks in advance :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi there! I have two tables involved in this automation, a Projects table and a Tasks table. Currently my automation is set up so that when a project status changes to "Ready to Build," a series of new records are created in the Tasks table.I'm running into a scenario where a project might be paused or delayed and moves back to "Pending" status, then back to "Ready to Build" again at a later date. Is there a way to keep the automation from recreating the same set of tasks again?Thanks! 

Hello Airtable community!I inherited a pretty robust Airtable system from a predecessor and have been working to revamp it, but my formula skills are not as good as the person who came before me, and I've been struggling to get IF AND statements to work. The logic seems sound, but they keep returning empty cells.One of the ones I'm struggling with concerns a formula that should return 1 of 2 options if a cell has a specific entry. I can get a single IF statement to return the correct result, but as soon as I try to include an AND, it fails. Here's what I have so far:In my table, the formula field is 'Ship From' with the two options being 'Direct from Printer' or 'X Distributor'. I want the formula to return 'Direct from Printer' if another field - 'Role' - is one of 3 options: Marketing/Sales, Licensor, or Editor in Chief.
