Hello! First time posting so I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right Location 🙇🏻‍♀️So I've gotten different kinds of work where I use Airtable as my main tool for project management, client portals, order/inventory tracking, ticketing, etc. And I'm looking to showcase the kinds of work I do with the platform to future potential clients!I was wondering how everyone else presents their old work (the non-NDA ones at least!) to clients? I'm not sure how to go about building my "portfolio" per se even though I've built some good stuff the past few years (thanks to the community too I've been lurking here for a long time haha!)It's kinda hard to convince potential clients that I've "been doing this for years" without having a ready portfolio of sorts to show for it other than some relatively safe screenshots (data privacy and all)Thanks in advance for any leads or advice! 💕

Is there anyway to hide certain tables from certain collaborators? I’m using Airtable for my business and want to link financials to projects. I have employees who I want to update records on my projects but not have access to financial information or client information. Is there anyway to do that? If not, I cannot continue using Airtable in my business…

Really excited about the new permissions for the interfaces :raised_hands: Now maybe I am just not seeing the option, but is there any way to add a simple password protect for viewing the interface? Like we have for sharing specific views? Thanks!

Over the course of a project we will be conducting a series of feedback surveys, each with the same questions, but after different events. I plan on storing responses to each survey in its own table within a base. Is there a way to duplicate the form to different tables? I will need to do some minor updates (e.g., changing the introductory text), but the questions would be the same.

Hello,I have created a check Request form in my system.  For some of our transactions we will deal with multiple transactions but I only want to have one button.  I have created multiple fields (Fee #1, Fee #2, Fee #3, Fee #4, Fee #5). I am trying to create a nested if Statement (or open to other options) to fill the check Request field with the newest fee.  For example If Fee 5 is empty but Fee 4 is not then I want Fee 4 populated in the field.  If Fee 5, 4, and 3 are empty then I want Fee 2 to populate in the field.  And so on.  Appreciate any direction. So far I created a nested if Statement but it only works for the first field then no longer works.

Hey Community!!Not a real actual current use case, but thought I'd spice-up the community a bit to kick-off the year! I can think of different workarounds for the following edge case, all of which could theoretically work (although not ideal) however I'd love to get to know your thoughts for it as the same logic and issue applies for other use cases.E.g. think of music concert tickets with initial stock of two (2) tickets.If Buyer A, Buyer B, and Buyer C all open the form at the same time (or before any submission occurs), they will all see availability of 2 tickets.Even if Buyer A purchases 1 ticket, available tickets shown on Buyer B and Buyer C's screen will still show 2 (unless they refresh the form and therefore retrieve new updated data from Airtable).This will not be an issue if Buyer B purchases 1 ticket immediately after -as there is still one ticket left.However, by the time Buyer C wants to make the purchase, the form still shows 2 tickets are available, however there is act

Greetings, Airtable community!I wanted to reach out to ask for your ideas and assistance with a road block I ran into:I have a Fillout "SignUp" Form that allows clients to schedule themselves for an appointment at the specific appointment time they choose. I've successfully customized Fillout form to show ONLY "unfilled" appointments (based on an Airtable view) when the client loads the form.The problem is that if 3 people load the form at the same time, then they can all 3 "Sign Up" for the exact same appointment. Since they all loaded the form at the same time they have the same options given from Airtable. And since the form doesn't update in "real time" unless they refresh the page, then there's no way to keep them from all 3 selecting the same Appointment time.On the back end, this means I received 3 SignUps for the same appointment and a "Something Went Wrong..." email from Airtable. I have a table with an Attachment field holding a PowerPoint  PPTX file.Is there any way (in an Interface or another) I can Drag and drop that file into another (Windows) application? Just adding the file to an Interface doesn't seem to allow drag and drop.Specifically, I need to drag the file into Canva - Create a Design (Upload). Thanks!

Does anybody know or has script you put in extensions and automatically shows post and comment karma on airtable. You need reddit api and airatble api. And a script that i dont know how to write. I would appreciate every help

I use Airtable for something related to website data. I have a table which is a list of pages/URLs from a website, which was extracted from Google Analytics. The key is the URL/page but it also contains data such as the volume of page views and other statistics about the page. In an ideal world I want this table to update automatically, so e.g. the data is always about the most recent month. I know there is a zapier integration but I can’t get my head around it, mainly because what happens if someone creates a new page in the source data i.e I am not just updating records based on changes to the data in Sheets, I need to also populate new records. Is this multiple Zapier integrations??

Okay I think this might be a tricky one but let me know if you have any answers. Here's the basic concept. I'm producing a summer concert series and I want to create a budget and expense tracker. I want have a couple things I'm trying to accomplish.First, I want to be able to create a budget and allocate an amount of the budget to a certain category (labor, rentals, food, etc.).Next, I want to be able to track how much we are spending on each of those categories for each show. (Show 1: $1,000 on labor, $5,000 on rentals, $150 on food, etc.)Then, I want to link those together. For example, I want the show totals for each major category to then update the overall season long budget (the first item). Ideally, there is an interface with three pages. One is the Overview dashboard which shows the total budget, total spend, and remaining total budget. It would also show each individual category with total budget, spend & remaining. The second page would be a page to edit the cat

Hello! Currently for a school project (Software Development and Design) I am making a game in unity complete with an online highscores leaderboard through Airtable. The leaderboard side of the project is now done but I wanted to add a replay system to the game. Much like demo files from the old doom games my replay solution is a JSON array that contains the positions and rotations of the key game objects over the lifetime of the game. The file that is generated is only about 1mb in size and such shouldnt take very long to upload if sent with the rest of my run information (such as the players username and their time) The issue I have run into is that im getting an INVALID_REQUEST_BODY error every time i try to put the entire JSON string into a Long Text feild on airtable. I beleive this may be due to the fact that it is a JSON string inside the rest of the JSON request that is sent to irtable. Is there a way to isolate the string so that airtable doesnt try and parse this data? Alterna

Hey there, I have a problem with the interface form an airtable app i created. When i want to open the 'socials' interface, it doesn't work and it gives an error. I have tried numerous things, but nothing works. I also tried to get help from the airtable support, but they couldn't help me as well. Is there somebody that has experienced the same problem? Thanks in advance 

I've build out an Airtable database that's working well but I'm getting stuck on what to use as a frontend. It's an internal lease management tool that needs to have a client login.We need the ability to have user permissions, an easy to read dashboard that looks nice, the ability to update records and export data.It also ideally should be a tool that does not have a steep learning curve.I started using Softr but then saw that the dashboard elements are only available on the professional plan ($139 a month) which is more than we want to pay right now. I tried Noloco which was great but the dashboard elements didn't present the information the way we needed it and the aesthetics weren't what we wanted.I would be so grateful for any ideas on what is the way to go.Thanks!

I have some items pulling into an interface.  I have 3 three fields.  Priority , User, and a description.  Is there a way to increase size of the user field to show full name versus truncating? I have hidden name but you can see that top one truncated and if there are two leads you only see the first one unless to expand to see all details?

I'm creating an office Desk Reservation system and I want to take the next step to make it even more user friendly by adding a unique QR Code to each Desk, so employees can walk up to the desk, scan the QR Code, and have the Desk Registration Form open with the Desk Number from the QR code they scanned Prefilled.I'm currently stuck on how to get the QR code's information to Prefill data in a single Form...and I dont want to make a Form for Each desk, that would be silly.Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've been searching for solutions for hours for this. My perfect worldEvent staff open an attendance tracking form. They select the event and class that's about to start. The walk around the room and scan the QR codes (could be barcode as well) on all attendee badges. Each scan adds that attendee (already an existing record in Airtable - that's where the QR code will come from) as a linked record to that event/class record. They add everyone in the room, and submit the form with everyone linked. Potential workaroundsMaybe directly linking multiple records into one field with QR codes isn't possible. If not, maybe there are ideas for how to do one of the following instead:Create an entire record when a QR code is scanned, and then collate that info later. But I would want to somehow link both the attendee and the class in that one scan, so if the QR codes are on attendee badges, I'm back to the same problem of how to include all those scans under one class umbrella.Airtable's

Hi everyone, I’m a pretty new Airtable user, so sorry if this question doesn’t use all the proper terminology. In short, I’m creating an automated appointment system for my organization. I am using a form to collect user information and create records that track scheduled appointments. Users select their preferred timeslot from a list of available appointment times (achieved by using a linked record field limited to an “Open Timeslots” view in a different table dedicated to tracking availability). The issue I’ve run across is that I only want users to be able to select ONE appoint time, but the linked record field allows for multiple appointment times to be selected. Is there a way to limit users to one selection with a linked record field? If not, any ideas on how something similar could be achieved? From my research, I think the answer to this question is, "it can't be done", but I'm hoping I'm missing something.My base has 3 tables:Waiting List - this is the "main" table, listing the people on the waiting list.Events - defines the events for which people may be waitlisted.Site Types - lists the possible site types that could be available to a person on the waiting list.Here's a highly simplified version of the base that illustrates the setup.Each record in the Waiting List table is linked to a single Event Name record in the Events table.Each record in the Events table is linked to one or more Site Types in the Site Types table. This link field defines the subset of Site Types that are available for that particular Event. This data is repeated as "Available Site Types" in the Waiting List table via a lookup field (if it's needed). As I have it set up, one Site Type record can be linked to multiple different Event records, but that's not mandatory--if it helped solve the problem,

I have a Single Select field field that I want to allow users to be able to add new options too when they are in Create Form interface. Since this is not possible, are there any workarounds/alternative designs that anyone has used?My thoughts:1. Using Linked Record is also not possible, since it doesn't allow new record creation from the Create Form interface. 2. Using a text field and then automating creation of the option in Single select also is not possible since I believe it doesn't allow update of the Single Select options through "Run Script" in automation?

I am trying to learn to use automations to update 2 summary tables so I do not have to keep copying and pasting every time I update a table.Table for new record:  Donations.  Summary Table: Donation Totals Yearly Summary Report.The two table are linked by the Donation Date primary field in the Donations table. The summary table linked field is called Donation Table.Let me summarize what I think I need to do to accomplish this. I need to create a trigger that says When a Record is Created in the Donations table. This tests fine.Then when I create that record in the donations table I need to have an action happen. I have chosen the Update Record in the action. That action is to update the Donation Totals Yearly Summary Report table/Donation Table field with the contents of the Donation Date field in the Donations table.
