Hi there, I have two different forms feeding the same table. I am trying to teach my students about A/B testing to figure out which is more effective. I can’t find a field that gets passed indicating which form the information comes in from. Does that exist, or is there a quick workaround? Thanks!

Hi all, I’m trying to create a formula to help me calculate invoicing periods. If the payment date is before the 20th of the month the invoicing period is the current month, if the payment date is on or after, then the invoicing period will be the next month. Essentially, there should be two outputs, the first day of he current month or the first day of the next month. I’ve tried to build this with an IF formula, but I’m coming unstuck with the first half of the formula when testing as it doesn’t seem to be calculating correctly: IF({Date paid} < DATETIME_FORMAT({Date paid}, ‘20/MM/YYYY’), DATETIME_FORMAT({Date paid}, ‘01/MM/YYYY’), “test”) How anyone advise on where I’m going wrong on this one?

Hello, I’m trying to summarize information in a Linked Record field type collected through Forms in which respondents can select multiple linked records. We invite respondents to select their Subject Area Expertise, options provided are categories from a sector-wide set of standard taxonomy. The Subject Area taxonomy is organized in a hierarchical manner. For example: Level 1 (Category): Health (SE000000) Level 2: Nursing Care (SE060000) Level 3: Home Health Care (SE60100) Level 3: Hospice Care (SE60200) Respondents can select from the whole list without seeing the hierarchy. I would like to generate charts that summarize and collapse respondents’ answers. Using the example above, I would like the chart to collapse all individuals who selected “Home Health Care” and “Hospice Care” to fall under the bar/pie chart slice for "Health" I tried using a lookup field for each Subject Area’s category, but it duplicates responses In the example below, the row with three different “Environment”

Am new into this and am not able to run the script functionality using this. am confused about data fetching. Hi all! I’m looking for a way to copy airtable record URLs in bulk. In order to find a specific record’s URL I need to right-click it and select the option “Copy record’s URL”, but how do I do it when I need to copy the URLs of 1000+ records?

I currently have the following IF nested statement. I don’t get an error when saving, but it only works when the first IF is found (13) and produces nothing for a result when the other two are in the identified field to check. Am I missing a key element to make the “false” portions of each IF statement work with a new nested IF statement? I’ve read the community for how to get the harder-to-read date cleaned up for automation with emails that include that field. I made a new column that formats the date/time to MM/DD/YYY and it populates fine in the table. However, the emails show nothing of that date and just has the space blank in the email. I’m struggling to pass an empty date to Airtable without throwing an error. My integration is with python, and so far I’ve tried an empty string and Python’s None (i.e. null) keyword. But with the None keyword I run into this error… ‘422 Client Error: Unprocessable Entity for url: https://api.airtable.com/v0/…[Error: {‘type’: ‘INVALID_VALUE_FOR_COLUMN’, ‘message’: ‘Cannot parse date value “None” for field Effective Date’}]’) Passing None to other fields clears the fields correctly so I’m really hoping this isn’t an API limitation where we can’t clear dates? Hi all, I have a form which sends data into a grid view. One of these columns has 7 options as a single select each with a rating number followed by a rating name. I created a column within the grid view that runs a script I wrote which essentially checks the input column and isolates the rating number in the new column for quick data pulls. However as our form inputs increase, I created an automation that would run this script every time a form was submitted and lately I have been getting the 15 mutations error. I have two separate tables… contact list (table A) and an interaction log (table B). I’m trying to get a ‘date’ field from table B to be auto populated to the respective contact name in Table A. I have it already set up to link the table B record to a field in table A, but I need the date added to a separate field so that I can use the calendar view… I was able to create the automation – when a record is created in Table B, the action is set to create record in table A. but I don’t want to create a new record in table A (just need it to update a record) HELP PLEASE

I wrote a very simple formula for my first field column to include fields from other columns in my table. I have only two fields in my formula with text strings to include spaces between them. My issue is that one of the field ends up between two brackets like this " ". As you can see, the field Prix Fab Gastier is = 12" BW STD in the table, but in my formula it returns “12"” BW STD" So why is there in total 3 additional " ? One before the 12 One after the 12" and one after the STD

So I have a table called “US states”, which other tables have linked fields to. One issue I encounter often is that when I have a form in a different table and add a field called “Select state”, which is linked to the “US States” table, I often have people who fill out the form start typing in the state and accidentally insert a new State (sometimes misspelled or sometimes just the abbreviation) thereby creating a new record in the linked “US States” table. Is there a way that a linked field in a form restrict creation of new records and only allow users to select from the list of linked records?

Hello, I am wondering how you can prefill a form where the field type is “Checkbox”. For instance, I have a Contact Info form I send new clients. I have two Checkbox fields that I do not want them to see but would be helpful for me to be checked. When checked, mark the client as being an Active Account and an Active Contact. Field Names “Act. Hi! I’m working on setting up a long-running {Task Due} date formula field that will eventually span across multiple years. The {Task Due} date is already successfully calculating a variable workday amount prior to the {Key SR Date} (the date of the actual event) using negative values found in the {Days Out} field. I’ve created an IF set up to accommodate some of the {Days Out} are 0, where I want the output to be the same as the input. Hi all. I have the following issue: I want to integrate a table inside a Notion page. In my table there are links to Google Photos albums, but they don’t work (they do instead work if I copy and paste the same link in the browser). My app is reading data from multiple tables, then displays them in context and interconnected. To be able to react to user changes I’m using the useRecords hook, so that updates propagate to the app. When searching why the app loads so slowly I realized that it starts over and over again, with each useRecords hook. Is there a way/pattern to avoid this, while still being able to read all the necessary table data? Hi, I am getting an Error back on the very basic SUBSTITUTE, which I have used numerous times in other tables of my base. SUBSTITUTE({Record Name}," “,”-") {Record Name} is a FORMULA FIELD that pulls the text from a LOOKUP FIELD (in the same table) that pulls the text from a FORMULA FIELD in another table. Any ideas? I have a Formula Field that creates a custom URL from my airtable. In the past, if a piece of data was missing in the airtable that was referenced in the Formula field … the data would just be empty. Now though, it’s throwing an error unless all of the data is populated. Does anyone have experience with this? Can you do something like =if(isnull, “noData”) in the formula?

I would like to keep a total score in a separate field based on certain values in 1 to 10 fields. So let’s say: Field 1: Yes Field 2: No Field 3: Yes Field 4: No Field 5: Yes Field 6: Yes Field 7: No Field 8: Yes Field 9: Yes Field 10: Yes Then a summarized 7 must be placed in the final number field. 7x yes = 7 and if I change field 3 to no after 2 weeks in the database, then field must become final grade 6 without having to do this manually. Is this possible and if yes how? I read about rollup/formula fields but how to do this on these 10 examples fields? It should be all present in 1 table and not different tables.

Hello everyone! I need to implement order creation in e-commerce. So, I have a “Products” table and an “Orders” table. The “Orders” table has a “Selected Products” field that is linked to the “Products” table. When a user selects a product, the link is implemented and all data from the “Products” is provided in the “Orders table”. There is such a case when the user must select the quantity for each product, and the total amount must be calculated accordingly. However, I have no idea how to bind each quantity for each product that is taken from “Products” table. Can you give any suggestions to solve this problem? The architecture looks like this: Table “Orders”: fields “Selected Products”: Product1, Product 2 [links]; “Total Amount”, “Quantities” (Here user needs to enter for Product1 and Product 2); “Price” (from “Products”) Table “Products”: fields “Name”, “Quantity”, “Price” Total amount = price[0] * quantities[0] + price[1] * quantities[1] (I need such formula)
