Hi there, I want to create a field that gives a different message to the user, depending on whether they have filled in a particular field ‘on time’ or not. I’ve attempted to explain it in text. If anyone could suggest the functions I need to use, I would really appreciate it. The problem for me is a. how to say ‘IF time is less than 5 minutes towards the time in the field OR IF time is more than 3 hours after time in field’ and to link that to b. ‘… AND field x has not been filled in THEN ‘show message a’’ and c. linking several options together (x3 optional messages). My question concerns missing information using a link field. In Table A is a field name: Property ID In Table B is a link field to Table A’s Property ID In table A I enter London 123 When I search in Table B’s Property ID for London 123, I can find it amongst the records but the 123 isn’t displayed. I have tried entering London-123 but it doesn’t make any difference. how should I enter the information in the table A field to ensure that when I link all the information is displayed in table B? tia

Hello! I am currently putting call data from Twilio into Airtable to then transform and present via Stacker. Currently, I can put the call start time (datetime), the call end time (datetime), and the duration (number) from Twilio itself. I know there is the DATETIME_DIFF() formula, but the issue with this is that it produces an integer, where I am wanting h:mm:ss. I also know you can use the integrating formatting option that Airtable has on Formula fields, which works fine if I was only using Airtable. The difficulty comes in when I need to get this duration time into Stacker. Stacker does not do the same formatting option as Airtable and pulls in the duration integer (as seconds). Any ideas?

Hey Guys! Im trying to remove a text in the beginning from a lookup field, by formula. The text starts with "<div class="vaning"></div><div class="namn">" and I want to remove “<div class="vaning"></div>” in the beginning. I’m trying to figure out the difference (in percentage) between two numbers. I’d like to set up a formula that gives the percentage (positive or negative) difference between two numbers. Hi there, I have built an automation that will: Step 1: Trigger when a record is created in Table A Step 2: Find matching records based on a condition in Table B Step 3: Update a linked field on all matching records from Step 2 with the ID of the new record from Step 1 For Step 3 I have written a script as I understand the “update record” feature can’t handle multiple records. The script isn’t producing any errors however it isn’t working. It should update the field “Applicant Record” with the record ID from Table A - at the moment nothing is being added. Would you be able to help check if I’ve made a mistake with my code? Cheers!

I need to copy sets of data from Google sheets over to Airtable’s mulitselect field. I have successfully copied the Example A sets of data into a multiselect and it works. But for some reason Example B data copies only 1 set of data, not the entire data set. How can I achieve the same results as example A for example B. For a casting agency db I need to set a personalized filter column I have a field with the age, now I need a formula column that gives me the segment :point_down:t2: AGE CALCULATED COLUMN < 15 kids => 15 & < 18. teenagers => 18 & < 31 young => 31 & < 45 mature => 45 older I’ve been trying to make an if then concatenated formula but I’m always getting errors. So I need to run a script automation on schedule to clean up these blank records… I have zero experience writing scripts. Hello AirTable Community! I’ve been wracking my brain for hours now so thought I’d see if I could get some infusion of help from the group at large. Basically, I have a base with with a table called “Categories” in it that has 13 different product categories as the name field. I have a second table (in the same base) that has a full list of product names with their associated category. I would like to lookup from the “Categories” table and pull into one field all the product names that are in that category. This sounds weird ( I think? ) but it’s my current solution to an Airtable to Webflow collections sync so that I can have a category collection that still allows me to access product information, if that makes sense. I’ve been successful in linking the tables but this would require me to go through and individually select each item (like tagging?) which is cumbersome, ripe for error, and annoying because the second table will update relatively frequently with new product values

I’m attempting to use the the “Find Records” action as part of an automation designed to notify me when there are multiple records with the same description. The way I currently have it set up: Trigger: When Record field “Issue Description” is Updated Action: Find Records where “Issue Description” IS (also tried Contains) “Issue Description” from Step 1 [to identify if it’s the same description] The automation runs every time I update the field, but keeps returning result of 0 records found even though there are indeed other records with the same description. Not sure what I’m configuring wrong or need to fix to get this to work.

Hi ! I have a calculated field that returns for me a value that looks like 2021 | Q3 or 2022 | Q1, determining the year and the quarter from a payment date. Now, in a linked table where this field (“Quarter”) is a lookup, I’m calling the RIGHT() function as follows : RIGHT(Quarter,2) in order to have as a result Q3 or Q1 as in the examples above. However, I get an ERROR! I believe it has to do with the fact that my “String” is a lookup but even if I create a field in the table, a function, that is basically “Quarter” (i.e. take the value that’s in the lookup) and call RIGHT() on that new field, I get an ERROR! too. I am deducting that RIGHT() cannot be called on a cell that’s a function ? True ? Any workaround ? Thank you !

Hello, new to scripting, running into an issue on a single line as I hack my way through. Just trying to update script var “totes” to be 10 times the value recorded from the single select field “Pts this week”. So if “Pts this week” has a value of 7, the script var totes should be 70 after this line is what I am trying to accomplish. The line below gives me NAN so I’m doing something wrong on this particular line. If I am not mistaken, NUMBER() should do the trick as the single select value of 7 will be a string if taken as is. Dear all, i am looking for a solution for the following problem: “Column A” is a multiple select field where I have data on company presence in a variety of countries (e.g. “Poland”, “China”, “Germany”) “Column B” should have a formula that checks whether “Column A” contains an entry (among others) that belongs to a specific list (e.g. “Poland” or "Germany). In this case the formula should return “Europe” I am not sure, whether this problem should be solved with IF, nested IF, SWITCH formulas or whether I need a completely different approach Thanks for any input, Cheers

I’m trying to add a column into my financial forecast that shows whether Column A + Column B = Column C. If the value in Column C doesn’t match I’d like it to show me that it’s incorrect. The formula I have so far is below but I can’t get around the error. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong? I’m really struggling on working out how to create a formula for the above. For context, I have an AirBNB type operation whereby there is a check in + check out date for guests who stay which can sometimes be as long as a few weeks. I’m trying to figure out the best way to work out if a specific day falls between 2 dates so I can group data based on events & also calculate occupancy in a given month or event based on a property (e.g. if there’s a major event in a city on the 10th of February & there’s a checkin on 8th February & checkout on the 11th February, how to have that filter in as an “event booking”). Alternatively, with the same logic, if I want to separate “weekend bookings” from “midweek booking”, I’m happy to have a separate table where I manually input every weekend/event. Would greatly appreciate any ideas anyone might have on how to solve it

I have a scripting app that will post to a Discord channel hooked up to a button field. Works fine if I use it in my logged in Airtable environment, even in a Gallery view. However, when I share that same Gallery view outside of my logged in environment, the scripting app button shows as disabled. I didn’t have this problem when it was a URL button instead. I can’t find any documentation on this or anyone else having this issue. Thanks for any ideas or insights!

I have a form for a Contacts table that collects specific data. I have another table for Leads that I need to pull this data into. I already have it linked and that works fine. The problem lies when the form is submitted. I would like a way to auto-match this data. For example, the Contacts Table contains an “email address” field. The Leads table is set up to pull the Contact info from the new record into different sort options. As it stands right now, I have to go in and manually link the contact info. I thought that by adding an email address field into the Leads table I could somehow auto-match it. Any ideas? Thank you.

I would like to achieve the following: Multiply all the quantities inside Part List Output (2x, 8x, etc) by the Quantity value. So in the first row in the example provided I want to multiply all of the integers in the comma-separated strings by 6. I’ve mocked up a demo output in Calculated Part List. One complication to note - the strings can also contain integers that I do not want to target for calculations, eg. 1x Shelf 812mm. I can easily manipulate the Part List Output if necessary. For example, wrap in special characters: _2_ Large T Side with Holes, _2_ Large A Side, _1_ Large Base, _8_ Spring Clips Perhaps @ScottWorld has managed this?
