Is it possible to do this kind of nesting? Thanks for your help

Hello, I’m having an issue with all of the automations I have running with Jira Cloud integration. The automations have all been functioning properly for the last couple of months, then today at a certain time they all of a sudden started throwing failures for unknown errors. Below is a recording of a couple of the automation’s setups and the errors and run history. One important note is that it IS creating the tickets (even though it says fail) but then it stops the proceeding steps and fails the automation. Recording of automations Important notes: no one made any changes to any automation that could have caused this (I am the only person who can do this and I wasn’t on the Airtable). I did a snapshot of the last time the one automation worked, and it still threw a fail. I have tried to reconnect the Jira Cloud with the automation, hasn’t changed anything… You’ll also see that the new marketing intake automation worked on the same day but then stopped working later that day. For some reason, I’m no longer seeing the “Add option” button when setting up a Multiple Select field. Instead, all I have is the “Add description” button. See screencap below. What gives?

I have a field that needs translating into a form that can be used by a second program, but there are some 50-60 options that need translating and the IF statement got huge. Essentially it goes: IF Cell A = “Manager”, “X”, IF Cell A = “Worker”, “Y” … It only needs to be done once, so would it be possible to use a script? The find and replace one looks almost perfect, but rather than replacing the value, I want the new value pasted into a separate cell

Problem: The output of a script is not being accepted as inputs to downstream steps in an automation I am trying to create. Hi Airtable team and community :)! First I want to thank the team for the awesome tool that is the Interface. I love using it (except for a few frustrations, namely the lack of a “duplicate” button or of the possibility to display fields instead of records as the x-axis in graphs). But my main concern today is the ability to share an interface. I just finished a Quarterly Reporting interface with KPIs of an incubator, and we want to share that with the executives of the school we depend on. For now, I understand there is no way to export the interface as a PDF or to share it with a link as a webpage instead of these busy important people having to create an Airtable account. I was wondering first if tricks exist to solve my problem overnight, and second if these features were planned? Many thanks in advance, and once again, congratulation for this amazing feature. I’m suspecting its to do with the number of ))) at the end as I have no clue why in the first condition it ended with ) and the second ended with ))) so have tried all number of them but they don’t work. Hello! I have an automation setup that when run “successfully” only populates some of the fields specified in the the action. Screenshot included below and highlighted where the errors are occurring. I also after a successful run initially eventually got an error message (seen in a screenshot below that “Could not find matching rows for string”. Was hoping could get some seeds of support on these two issues. I am trying to update multiple records at once using an automation with a script. I received a lot of help by using the script referenced here: Update Multiple Records with Automation. Basically, I am trying to mark records in one table (called “Summer Registrations”) as “paid” AND link those records to the the trigger payment record. The trigger payments can be linked to more than one record, which is why I know I need to use a script. Marking all the found records as “paid” is working fine, but the problem I’m having is pulling in the Record IDs from the trigger step. In the screenshot, I want to put the Airtable record ID from the step1 trigger into the field marked “Receipt”.

I have a question regarding the upcoming change to Attachments within bases on Airtable (the annoucement email that just came out a few days ago). I am especially concerned about the expiring URLs and am not sure if this will impact my business. Right now, I use Airtable to create a weekly availability for flowers. I share a link to each week’s table via email and customers have a 7 day window to place orders. My weekly availability includes photos in the Attachment column. These photos are either uploaded directly from my computer or uploaded as screenshots. The change that is coming in November, does this mean after a few hours my customers won’t be able to view the photos in my shared Grid View of my weekly availability? If this means my customers will lose access to my photos a few hours after I send them my weekly email, then how do I go about “fixing” this before it becomes a problem?

I have a base my team uses for resource planning and time tracking. I assign tasks and hours in the Gantt view, tasks sometimes span days and weeks (there is a start date, end date, and duration field). My employees then add their actual hours to the existing records as a time sheet. The problem I’m running into is that when assigning multi day tasks only one assignment record is created for the first day of the task, and all assigned hours are put on that task. I need an automation that will create a new record for every unique date between the start and end date of a task, duplicating all other attribute information and assigning the appropriate daily hours according to a formula. Is this possible within Airtable or do I need to use a different service? Thanks in advance for any thoughts or advice!

How do I write the equivalent of Excel’s PMT formula in AirTable field that produces the equivalent result in Excel? In Excel it’s =PMT(rate,nper,pv). In Excel I adapted it as =PMT(rate/12,nper12,pv)-1** which also produced the monthly payment as a positive value. I found this in the community: ({Monthly Interest Rate}*{Loan Amount})/(1-POWER((1+{Monthly Interest Rate}),-{Number of Monthly Payments})) I adapted it to this: ({Monthly Interest Rate/12*{Loan Amount}})/(1-POWER((1+{Monthly Interest Rate}/12),-{Number of Monthly Payments))/10 It was close but not exact and the small difference becomes a much larger difference in another calculation. Is there a way to do this?

I am trying to create a field that will show a flag when one of two conditions are met around a Platform Due Date: Delivery Date is after the Platform Due Date Submitted Date is within 56 days (or 8 weeks) of Platform Due Date I also don’t want it to show anything if there’s no Platform Due Date (field is blank), as this field/column doesn’t apply for all records. I’m not getting any errors, but it’s also not showing the flag for a record that was submitted 3/29/22 but was due 3/7/22. In this case, the submitted date is after the due date, but there will be future cases where the submitted date is before the due date, but still less than 8 weeks or 56 days before. Hi all, I am looking to identify if a team is onboarded. We define onboarded if at least one of the designated people on the team participated in a session. Take the example below (columns hidden to simplify the example). The first column (physician team name) is the name of the team. The team consists of three people including John Doe, William Smith, and Sarah Johnson. We can see that Dr. Doe onboarded and he is considered a “live” user. His two colleagues are not, but because he is live that means the entire team is live. The ultimate goal is to group by Live vs Not Live and then Team Name like the screenshot below. This doesn’t work though because Neuroscience Team shows in the live section because Dr. Doe is live, but then also shows in the not live section because the other two did not participate in training. How do I create a formula so the Neuroscience team only shows as live? We cannot filter out the other two individuals from the grouping. Does anyone have any clever ideas

Hi all! I just started doing taxes as a small business and I figured I’d make an airtable chart to keep track of all the different tax rates in different counties. However, what I’m running into is this: When I go to formatting I get the response: Your result type is not a number or a date. Formatting options are currently only available if your result type is a number or a date. Here is my formula: IF( SEARCH("Online", {Location}), "0%", IF( SEARCH("Wake", {Location}), "2%", IF( SEARCH("Durham", {Location}), "2.25%" ) ) ) I’ve tried both with and without the % symbol. To be fair, the return in that column works fine but I can’t then make a later formula using those values because it doesn’t recognize them as numbers. Dear Experts, We have two Airtables for teachers and students. For each new student record added, we need to assign the student to a teacher based on the student info (language, age, …). We have linked both tables using name field but now want to make this automation of assigning students to teacher. Each teacher will have max capacity of students to be assigned. Hello, Any idea how I would transform monthly totals into a cumulative total over time? I can’t get this field to sort properly. It sorts up to a certain point then seems to give up. I tried deleting/re-creating the sort rule, even manually sorting from the customize menu. I contacted ‘Support’ with this, they did not even respond.

Hi Airtable community! Hoping for some assistance with an If statement. We have a workback schedule for deliverables based on an event date Workback:Materials Due: WORKDAY(Date,-45)) Occasionally, we will need to adjust the deliverable dates if the date of the event is determined later than the typical schedule allows for. I created a “Manual Deadline” date field. Manual: Materials Due: DATE I would like to create an If statement Formula field for Materials Due that will populate it with the Workback: Materials Due date UNLESS the Manual: Materials Due field has a date in it, in which case it will display the manual date. Can someone please assist? My brain has trouble with if statements :winking_face:

Hi, I am looking to find the initial letters of a UK post code before the first number. UK Post codes start with 1 or 2 letters and are always numbers and then letters. E.g. ‘WA1 1AB’ or ‘SK2 3LP’ or ‘L1 1AA’ or ‘M2 3NK’ I am looking for a formula to return the initial letters before the first number. So for the above examples, I would expect ‘WA’, ‘SK’, ‘L’ and ‘M’ Any ideas?
