I have used this formula to separate data that is simple 4 letter abbreviations and it works perfectly. However, the data is also associated with dates and times that I need to separate and have readable and separate in an email automation. When I use the above method, the dates (which read fine in their native field) come out looking like this Has anyone run into this before or have a solution?

I’ve set up an automation that consists of a trigger (which works), a script to get the automationTime (which finally outputs the current date in ISO format), and an Update Record Action (which should capture the outputted Date—from the script—and input it into an empty Date Field of the same format). I don’t know why it’s failing, and what invalid input it’s referring to. Some assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please see screenshot attached for reference. Thank you!

I setup my first automation and it seems to have worked according to the ‘history’ but when I look in the table where it supposedly created a new record, the new records aren’t there. I don’t have any filters on, I searched and sorted in various ways with no luck, and just can’t figure out what it could be. Can anyone help? thank you!

I am trying to use REGEX_EXTRACT to convert a username into an Email address. For example: WSSUMITS\smithfred => smithfred, then I can add the @domain.com to the result. The regex formula I came up with, through trial and error, is: REGEX_EXTRACT({Asset Last Logged In User}, '^(?:WSSUMITS)?([^:\\/\n?])+\\') However, I’m getting ERROR in the field. I don’t have much experience with regex. Where am I going wrong? Thanks in advance.

Hello! I’m writing a custom app to print information from my base on adhesive labels using a Zebra TLP2824 Plus printer, via Zebra Browser print. I’ve written the script below to gather, format and print the required information, but my amateur at best programming knowledge is holding me back a little bit. The functionality I’m going for is the following: once a button in an Airtable view is pressed, labels print for all records linked to a parent record. This works when the app is loaded from the button itself, but if the app loads without the useRecordActionData already loaded, I can’t get it to load without it throwing the following error: Rendered more hooks than during the previous render. Which is obviously right, because I’m accessing more data than requested initially, but I can’t figure out how to work around this! I’d really appreciate some help. On my AirTable, it sends out an email when a view updates because the view in question is made to track employee records that are past their respected due dates. I would like an email to be sent out every Monday and Wednesday to the specific employee/collaborator, alerting them to follow-up on the past dues–until they no longer appear on the list. I am trying to solve the following problem. I have thousands of registration numbers that always start with a “T” and are followed by 10 digits. This is how they are delivered to me T3090728379. But they all need to look like this T-309072837-9 which translates to the following format T-[9 digits]-[1 digit] The last digit can be anything between 0-9. What formula could I use to reformat these fields in Airtable? I managed to substitute “T” with “T-” but I do not know how to get a hyphen in front of the last digit. Is this something one would use the LEN() function for? (I have never been able to fully understand how this works…) I’d appreciate any help. Thank you so much in advance. Hello. I have built several Interfaces from a particular Base in my Workspace. However, I need to move that particular Base to a new Workspace. When I move this base will the associated Interfaces also move or will I have to recreate them all again from scratch (shudder!)?

Hi all! I’m on a fairly time crunched project and am stuck on solving a problem. Specifically, I am fetching data from an API using DataFetcher that is a table of products that have columns with “tags” for the product. There are a total of six columns with different tag names in each column. What I’m hoping to do is in a separate table entitled “Tags” to a have a column key where each record is a unique value of any tags in those six columns in the other table. Ideally, this would also update automatically when datafetcher runs and updates the other source table and new tags are added. Is this feasible? Many thanks in advance for any consideration.

Is it possible to color code a record based on a due date, but just the ones that are in the current week? Example: Today is Thursday, so all the records with a today or tomorrow (Friday) due date would be colored red. I know that color based on “within the next week” or “within X number of days” exists, but I need the records for the current week only. Thanks!

I’m using Airtable to build a list of donors for our non-profit organization. The records are identified by the name of the donor. Some donors make multiple donations throughout the year. How can I reflect these frequent donations without building a whole new record? Thank you so much.

Hi all, I’m trying to create a formula to help me calculate invoicing periods. If the payment date is before the 20th of the month the invoicing period is the current month, if the payment date is on or after, then the invoicing period will be the next month. Essentially, there should be two outputs, the first day of he current month or the first day of the next month. I’ve tried to build this with an IF formula, but I’m coming unstuck with the first half of the formula when testing as it doesn’t seem to be calculating correctly: IF({Date paid} < DATETIME_FORMAT({Date paid}, ‘20/MM/YYYY’), DATETIME_FORMAT({Date paid}, ‘01/MM/YYYY’), “test”) How anyone advise on where I’m going wrong on this one?

Hello, I’m trying to summarize information in a Linked Record field type collected through Forms in which respondents can select multiple linked records. We invite respondents to select their Subject Area Expertise, options provided are categories from a sector-wide set of standard taxonomy. The Subject Area taxonomy is organized in a hierarchical manner. For example: Level 1 (Category): Health (SE000000) Level 2: Nursing Care (SE060000) Level 3: Home Health Care (SE60100) Level 3: Hospice Care (SE60200) Respondents can select from the whole list without seeing the hierarchy. I would like to generate charts that summarize and collapse respondents’ answers. Using the example above, I would like the chart to collapse all individuals who selected “Home Health Care” and “Hospice Care” to fall under the bar/pie chart slice for "Health" I tried using a lookup field for each Subject Area’s category, but it duplicates responses In the example below, the row with three different “Environment”

Am new into this and am not able to run the script functionality using this. am confused about data fetching. Hi all! I’m looking for a way to copy airtable record URLs in bulk. In order to find a specific record’s URL I need to right-click it and select the option “Copy record’s URL”, but how do I do it when I need to copy the URLs of 1000+ records?

I currently have the following IF nested statement. I don’t get an error when saving, but it only works when the first IF is found (13) and produces nothing for a result when the other two are in the identified field to check. Am I missing a key element to make the “false” portions of each IF statement work with a new nested IF statement? I’ve read the community for how to get the harder-to-read date cleaned up for automation with emails that include that field. I made a new column that formats the date/time to MM/DD/YYY and it populates fine in the table. However, the emails show nothing of that date and just has the space blank in the email. I’m struggling to pass an empty date to Airtable without throwing an error. My integration is with python, and so far I’ve tried an empty string and Python’s None (i.e. null) keyword. But with the None keyword I run into this error… ‘422 Client Error: Unprocessable Entity for url: https://api.airtable.com/v0/…[Error: {‘type’: ‘INVALID_VALUE_FOR_COLUMN’, ‘message’: ‘Cannot parse date value “None” for field Effective Date’}]’) Passing None to other fields clears the fields correctly so I’m really hoping this isn’t an API limitation where we can’t clear dates? Hi all, I have a form which sends data into a grid view. One of these columns has 7 options as a single select each with a rating number followed by a rating name. I created a column within the grid view that runs a script I wrote which essentially checks the input column and isolates the rating number in the new column for quick data pulls. However as our form inputs increase, I created an automation that would run this script every time a form was submitted and lately I have been getting the 15 mutations error. I have two separate tables… contact list (table A) and an interaction log (table B). I’m trying to get a ‘date’ field from table B to be auto populated to the respective contact name in Table A. I have it already set up to link the table B record to a field in table A, but I need the date added to a separate field so that I can use the calendar view… I was able to create the automation – when a record is created in Table B, the action is set to create record in table A. but I don’t want to create a new record in table A (just need it to update a record) HELP PLEASE

I wrote a very simple formula for my first field column to include fields from other columns in my table. I have only two fields in my formula with text strings to include spaces between them. My issue is that one of the field ends up between two brackets like this " ". As you can see, the field Prix Fab Gastier is = 12" BW STD in the table, but in my formula it returns “12"” BW STD" So why is there in total 3 additional " ? One before the 12 One after the 12" and one after the STD

So I have a table called “US states”, which other tables have linked fields to. One issue I encounter often is that when I have a form in a different table and add a field called “Select state”, which is linked to the “US States” table, I often have people who fill out the form start typing in the state and accidentally insert a new State (sometimes misspelled or sometimes just the abbreviation) thereby creating a new record in the linked “US States” table. Is there a way that a linked field in a form restrict creation of new records and only allow users to select from the list of linked records?
