Hello, I would like to use airtable for social media management and scheduling with someone else. It would just be between two people. Myself and another. For example, Person 1 - Uploads attachments/documents/images/resources Person 2 - Schedules and organizes the content for the week Person 1 - Can review and enter (text/copy/“caption”) where needed, as well as leave notes revisons Is a Pro plan needed for this? and if so, would BOTH of us need to pay for a pro account? Thanks in advance, I’ve searched high and low for an answer for this, even watched a few videos, and I’m still not 100% confident that I understand.

Hi! I have two tables in my airtable - one has a list of providers, and the other table has contacts for that provider. There are often multiple rows for contacts (because one provider has multiple contacts. I have copied and pasted the data from Excel. In my provider table I created a linked column to link to the contact table. I expect to see two entries in that column most of the time. I’m copying the provider name (first column) into that column, and the provider name is also the first column of the contact table. However I only see one instance - it’s just picking the first row from the contact table. I can go into each cell and search for and select the second instance, that works fine! I’ve also tried copying and pasting the provider name twice, comma separated, but that didn’t work. It still just picks the first instance. Any ideas how I can do this not manually?

Hi Airtable Community, I have created several Page Designer apps that have been working great for months. Generating these one-page PDF documents which must be signed by our consultants with a quick turn-around has been a huge timesaver for us and we rely on them completely. We have several different versions depending upon some of the verbiage that is needed. We use Print -> Save as PDF to generate the documents needed. A member of my team just reached out to me because one of the Page Designer apps is suddenly freezing when they hit the Print button. I tested this with multiple records to ensure the problem is not just one record, and I tested other Page Designer apps that we have to see if the problem is the app itself. It does appear to be this specific Page Designer app. I also make a copy of the app in the hopes that whatever the issue is won’t be propagated, but the copy had the same issue. Hi, I have a field with 3 drop down statuses. One of them is ‘needs review’. I want to setup an automation so that when a date is met, the status of the relevant field is changed to ‘needs review’. The question is, what is the ID of the record I want to update? When I choose the ‘review status’ field, the options I see are ID, name and color. Is it ID or name? I’m not trying to change the name of the field. I’m trying to update the status of the record.

Hey there, trying to get an IF/THEN statement correct here. It’s a donation database. Each donation is linked to a Donor Account and a Campaign. In my Donor Accounts tab, I’m using a lookup field to determine which Campaigns each donor has donated through. In another column, I’d like it to populate “Yes” if the donor has already given/is tagged to a particular campaign, “No” if they haven’t. Thoughts?

I’m currently trying to clone one airtable into a different airtable. When I run my code, I eventually get timed out after copying anywhere from 100 - 700 rows. I wonder if somebody familiar with Integromat can tell me if this can be done. I have a workflow starting with Airtable Watch Records module → Airtable Retrieve Record module ->… While this works OK, I don’t have many credits left at the end of the month with so many workflows I have running. I tested using Integromat iOS/Android app and it seems it doesn’t consume credits for stand-by operation, it just consumes the credits when the workflow is running. So I would prefer to run the workflow manually from the mobile device. It’s actually convenient. However, while most other workflows work that way, I can’t get it work with Airtable. Seems the Airtable Watch module is required, because otherwise, how would Airtable Retrieve Record module know what record to retrieve. Or is there any way to get around it? What I want is to launch the Integromat workflow from mobile. The issue is I can’t get the Android/iOS module connected with Airtable Watch module. This may be more or less questio

I have a scripting block that, for each record R in a given table, pulls a bunch of data from a different table, calculates a number N, and updates a field F for that R. The problem is some records are updated and others are not. I know that records are being pulled correctly as I print N for every R and it all calculates correctly. I know that the update code works as some records will update. One interesting thing to note: the updated R I think are all old and the non-updating ones were recently added. I thought this might have been a Free/Plus/Pro account issue as only Pro supports Apps and maybe older records were grandfathered but I have paid for Pro and still no go. Is this a permissions issue? By the way, are apps the same as scripting blocks or different? Ive got a checkbox called - SOLD A base which is called - Bought from Private (BFP) A Base called - Kommission A field which hold the SALES A Field which hold the amount of the kommission A Field which hold the amount how much i paid for the article. Hi all, I’m working with a set of formulas for calculating a page count estimate for transcription based on length of audio recording, and then based on that page estimate, calculating a price based on a per-page and copy rate. Here’s the formula I’m working with for the page estimate: ({Recording Length}/3600)*50 And the formula for calculating the price is: ({Page Estimate}{Job Rate})+(({Page Estimate}{Additional Copies})*{Copy Rate}) The problem I’m having is that even though the {Page Estimate} field is set to be a whole number integer and displays as such, when the {Page Estimate} field is used in the price calculation, it’s not using the rounded integer but the precise decimal amount. For example, the page estimate is 233.666, rounded to 234 as a whole integer. But instead of calculating 234 * {Job Rate}, it’s using 233.66666 * {Job Rate}. Thanks for any ideas to solve this!

Is there a way to see the history of view configurations? I have a view which had multiple settings and someone in my team must have re-configured it with realizing it was an important view. It was set up 3 years ago and I cannot recall all the settings I had in place. I need to revert it to previous settings, but do not believe this is possible in Airtable.

Hello everyone, I’m currently failing on something pretty easy to solve I think. I’d like to create an automation that will send an email when a record matches certains conditions. I have inherited a project and have been working on the API side of things but am now getting into the table structure and have a question. Structure: ’Employees’ Table. All employees in the company. Includes Email, Specialties (Link to Specialties), and Coverages (Link to Coverages). ’Specialties’ Table. All specialties provided by the company. Includes ‘Name’, and ’ Link to Employees’ ’Coverages’ Table. All coverages provided by the company. Includes ‘Name’, and ‘Link to Employees’ The idea is that I can access the Employees table via the API and get all the specialties and coverages an employee offers. In the linked Specialties column of Employees I can add Specialties just fine and the data finds it way back and forth. Delete an Employee from ‘Link to Employees’ from Specialties and it is great. The group added this Coverages table and has added all the Employees to the ‘Link to Employees’. They sit there just great. I am now trying to get them to back populate to the Employees tab

The problem with the “bar chart” (which is more accurately a column chart) is that for long labels, they get cut off. Anyone know of a way to generate an actual bar chart (horizontal bars) from a data series?

Hi, I’m passing file uploads (jpg and pdf) from a Webflow form and would like to deposit the attachments into Airtable through Zapier. These attachments should then be zapped over back to Webflow to create a new CMS item. I’m having trouble bringing the files over from the initial webflow form upload over to the airtable database. They only want to show up as URLs but not actual attachment. Is there a reason for this? I’ve seen an app for this come up time and time again in my search (miniextensions), but I don’t want to pay $39/mo for it just yet. I have also tried creating an automation, but it doesn’t seem to work. The image starts getting uploaded but it disappears after a second— Is there an app I can integrate as a step in my Zapier process? Thanks!
