Hello everyone, I tried searching for an answer but unfortunately couldn’t find one. I am trying to upgrade to the Pro Plan but it looks like I have to pay the full amount for monthly, I just paid for an annual subscription on the Plus Plan. any thoughts?

In my [Workers] table, I just copied 6,000 cells from formula field {All employers for automation} to a link records field {All employers new} which is linked to the table [Employers]. All of the text strings in {All employers for automation} were taken directly from a linked records field {Temp employer} which is also linked to [Employers]. 5,700 of them went through with no problem and linked back with the original record in [Employers] no problem. About 300 of them, though, failed to link and created a new record with the same name in [Employers]. Why would that be? Am I just asking too much of AT? (to be precise, i did this for three columns at the same time, totaling 18,000 records copied and linked. the other items were serial numbers and matched perfectly with their counterpart). Hi there, I am a new enthusiastic in Airtable, so forgive me stupidity ;-), but: A few days ago there handles most left on the records so I could drag them in another group of records (in the same table of course). But now these handles suddenly seem disappeared. Does anyone know what is going on here? Best regards,

I see when sharing a grid view link, users can’t see and therefore can’t click on the hidden fields, but when I create a base view link, the blue box with the hidden fields can be seen and clicked on. Is there no way to hide the hidden fields in base view? I was hoping to give users just 1 link so they can see the whole base with all the tables. If I can’t hide the hidden fields (with lots of formula workings), I’ll have to create 23 grid view links, 1 for each table! Hoping I’m missing something obvious here. Any help would be greatly appreciated it!

Hello everyone, It may sounds stupid but I have an issue to sync cancelled events (Calendly) to my Tickets Table (Airtable) via Zapier. Basically, when someone cancels their attendance on Calendly, I don’t know how to change their status from ‘Booked’ to ‘Cancelled’ on Airtable via Zapier. I am using Calendly for my ticketing/attendance management. I have different kinds of recurring events, with different times/dates, with different users booking/cancelling their ticket. On Airtable my ticket table has a single select column called ‘Status’ so I would know when someone has booked or cancelled their attendance. The problem is I don’t know how to make Zapier updates the status column automatically from Calendly when it’s a cancellation (I know how to create a record when someone books though).

Is it possible to get the “Suggested Views” to stop showing in the sidebar? This takes up a lot of prime real estate. On my screen I can only see 5 of my many views :stuck_out_tongue: Also, I would prefer to have a single “Create a view button”, but that’s more of a feature request.

I can’t figure out a simple formula. Name (field) = John Smith I need the formula to come up with a result if the search for “Smith” is true. I tried IF(FIND('Smith', Name) > 0) Does not work. Please share ideas.

I’m trying to make a script that will read from a Date field and copy and paste that data into a Link to field in the same table. If there is a better way of doing this I am completely open to it. The end goal is to setup an Automation that will check for a change in date from the source and reflect that in a weekly report table.

I have a table that tracks the steps and results in a process. Sometimes we modulate the steps, but often the steps remain the same over multiple submissions/rows. For example, we have molds that need to be cleaned using a variety of different tools, solvents, and methods. I have a column titled Mold Cleaning with options “Standard” and “R&D”. I would like to be able to have subsequent columns autofill based on the selection in this column. If “Standard” is selected, then I would like the tools/solvents/methods to input our standard selections for that. If “R&D” is selected then I would like for the tools/solvents/methods to remain blank for input. Can this be done through scripting or some other means?

Hi again! One more question from me for this base. I want to combine multiple IF statements from data in two columns. I’m working with the ‘points length’ field and the ‘total rating’ field. I’m attaching screenshots of what I’m talking about and the formulas I’ve tried, since it’s probably easier than me trying to explain. (I’m new to Airtable formulas and still not entirely sure what I’m doing!) In this screen shot you’ll see that the documentation status column doesn’t differentiate between ‘well-documented’ videos with perfect point length (40) and those with less. I need to populate a field with a value based on three conditions: Checkbox Field “Current Edits Complete” = 1 or Checkbox Field “No Changes Suggested” = 1 AND Checkbox Field “Content Implemented” = 0 So, if Edits are complete or No Changes Suggested are checked - BUT - Contentent Implemented must be empty, I want to bring back the {Editor copy}, otherwise I want the cell blank. Here is what I have built, but it doesn’t grab the records where No Changes Suggested is selected. How can we make a judgment between each date in column {Directive status 1} cell and the date in Column {Calculated ETA}, and then return the “Overdue” if one judgment result is false? Or how do I get the smallest date in column {Directive status 1} cell.

How do I remove collaborators who are grayed out and seem to “come with” a template base? There are a couple templates I am trying to use but extra collaborators cannot be removed. I tried right clicking, I tried left clicking, I tried every other possibility that works in other bases and cannot remove the grayed out collaborators. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

Had a good formula going for the status of the books in our shop… IF({Sales}, “ :green_circle: Sold”, “ :white_circle: For Sale”) But then I realized, we also “ :orange_heart: Donate” and “ :beer: Trash” books (we only trash them if they get damaged, say, in a flood, and the Microsoft garbage emoji is garbage, so beer it is!). Like the {Sales} field, the {Donations} field is a linked one, only, unlike {Sales}, in {Donations} it’s not enough to say EMPTY=For Sale and NOT EMPTY=Sold because there are three options in the Donations table {Beneficiary} single select field: Charity, Thrift, and Trash. What’s the formula for this? Do I need to create lookup fields first?

Using a script, what is the syntax for clearing a value from an existing record in a single select field?

How would I go about adding a field to an existing table that already has 25,000 records and filling all 25,0000 cells in that new field with the same value, say, “Cookbooks?” If you’re curious, it’s because my dear old dad put both general subject location data in the same cell with specific location information (i.e., Cookbooks - garage wire rack, top shelf). And before you go suggesting that I use a formula which divvies up the data before and after the dash, I should say that he’s totally inconsistent in the way he orders this information and the way he separates it.

I need to copy a record from one table to another table (or from one base to another base). The records I need to copy are the ones I label as “Expired”. The act of copying them will be done manually, that’s not an issue. What I am looking for is how to preserve the date in the Create Date field when copying the record. Right now copying the record would trigger the Create Date field to be updated with a new date (=now date). What I want is the new copied record to cary over the original create date. One solution I came with is to: In Table 1 (the record has Create Date field with the date) In Table 1 add another field called “Original Date” Set up Automation in AirTable or Integromat. It would trigger when this “Original Date” date field is empty. When copying the record into Table 2, this Original Date will be carried over (although the Create Date will have a new date =now date). I’m trying to add more intelligent time support to one of my bases, so I went looking for a free time API that I could query, and I found this: worldtimeapi.org World Time API: Simple JSON/plain-text API to obtain the current time in,... It looked like it would fit the bill, so I built a quick test in the Scripting app. However, I hit a CORS-related error, so I shifted testing to a script action in an automation. While I’m no longer getting an error, I’m also not getting the response I’m expecting based on the examples on the above site. I got an issue with these two characters… The issue is with: ’ and ’ When I copy a formula from AirTable into textpad on MacOS and start editing the formula there, the ’ character gets eventually somehow replaced with ’ and when I copy the formula back into AirTable, the formula is broken because some of the ’ got replaced with '. It’s strange. I don’t have any text-expander or text correction software so not sure why it happens. Wondering if anybody else has the problem. The issue doesn’t happen when editing the formula in Airtable box, it only happens when I copy the formula outside to edit it and then copy it back to Airtable. The editing box for formulas is way too tiny to be useful when editing long formulas. Interesting thing is also when I am editing the forum post here, the difference in characters shows when I am editing the title of the post here, but once I save the post, the characters look same in the title.
