Hi I am using the free version of Airtable and using one base very heavily for my day to day work to manage workflow. Suddenly over the last 3 days I have been getting a warning message saying “This webpage is using significant memory and closing it could improve the responsiveness of your Mac” I didn’t ever get this before and also I have the latest (1 month old) 16 inch MacBook Pro with significantly greater memory and faster processor than my old MacBook Pro which was 5 years old and a lower level model Please help!

Hello, I have a formula for UTM and its pulling from the other columns in the sheet, but for some reason, it is not hyperlinking the entire URL. I not sure why, But I have doubled checked the formula to make sure there are no spaces. I am new to Airtable formulas so I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Thanks!

I just upgraded to the pro plan (from the free). I don’t see anywhere where it gives the price to add a base collaborator. I really don’t think i want to pay much for something that i don’t know if they are going to use much. i paid for Airtable myself because it was my choice to get myself more organized. I really only need my boss to come in every now and then (like once or twice a month) and change a drop down for a job from “billed” to “paid”. That and maybe she would log in every now and then to see the status of things. Is there not a way she can do this without me having to pay to add her as a collaborator? I can make her “view only” for free, right? or can i give her my login so she can just check in every now and then? (and change those drop downs). i know she’d have access to all of my bases, but that is fine, i’m probably only using this for work anyway.

I’m importing a csv with the Airtable markdown for pretty urls but, they’re not parsing. If I manually create the individual record it parses fine. So, I’m importing this: Google Search e.g. the above in markdown as [ x ]( x ) I have a ton of records and doing this manually cell by cell will be difficult. I’ve tried clearing my history, logging out/in, and refreshing the page many times with no change. I have also tried manually copy/pasting CSV, as well as using the CSV import block both as a new table and by replacing existing data. Nothing is working. Thanks!

I have created a bunch of categories that I am using in a multiple select field. My question: how can I export those categories that I created into a list somewhere so I can manipulate it?

Hello. I’m having a problem importing ICS data, where the start and end date from the ICS file are importing as one day earlier in Airtable. The ICS file is set to Europe/London, but not sure if the timezone would affect the days themselves. Can anyone suggest how I investigate further or fix this? I have a few thousands of records to import from a Google calendar.

Hello, I have a contacts record with peoples first and last names and for some reason many of them (not all) were imported with a space before their name. Is there a way to remove this space for each record? Thanks in advance!

\I have created a base on the free version of Airtable that I want to share for free with others; But I do not want them to be able to make changes on my original base. Basically I want them to be able to make a copy of it for themselves. What is the best way to do this …that I could then easily share on social media for people to try out.

Hi, I am using Google Keep for my to do list. But I want to migrate to Airtable, because for each to-do I want to have additional columns. My question is - can I automatically move the item down on the list by using a checkbox on another column? I’m converting a table that has multiple text field columns into one multiple-select column. The old form had text input fields so the most of the data is like this: and now that form has condensed those fields into one multiple-select field, like this: . I don’t want to keep the old text columns around, and want to collate those fields into the single existing multiple-select column. I think the way to do this is in a step-wise fashion: create a lookup table that converts the text into the new multiple-select labels use a rollup field on the main table to concatenate or arrayjoin the data into one comma-delineated string, copy that data over into the existing multiple-select column delete the old columns and the reference table But I’m not sure what aggregate formula I can use to create the string. And I’m not sure how to reference the data within the rollup formula field: (I know this isn’t right…) Any help would be much appreciated! We’re about to add a lot more organizations t

Hi there! I have a Table called Projects and another called Updates (both are connected via Linked Records), both are in the same Base. I’d like to have a flag (a binary 0/1 or true/false so I can put them in a Count Block on a Dashboard) for all Projects (that have a Status of In Progress) if they don’t have an Update for them for the previous week. In the Updates Table I have the name of each record as the number of the week (calculated via a formula, with a little nuance for stragglers who might not update until Monday). Any idea how’d I’d go about doing this? Thanks in advance for your help! James

Can I please get some assistance with a conditional statement. I’ve looked at examples, but have not been able to crack this. Goal: First Name space Middle Initial space Last Name or First Name space Last Name Not all names have a middle initial therefore my current formula is creating a double space when no middle initial present. I know this will require some kind of conditional if statement. There may also be a more graceful way of handling the spaces between field values. I’ve read the help article, but when I want to add a new column and choose Long text, there is no option to toggle “RTF” anywhere. Is this something I need to do within the settings at a higher level?

Hello, Here’s my base: I’m using a Roll Up to see if the URL in “Leads” table includes the UTM in “Inputs” table. If it does, I want it to add the corresponding “Source” from the “Inputs” table as the “Referral Source” in the “Leads table” I thought I might be able to achieve this as adding this formula with the Roll Up: IF(SEARCH({UTM},{Input}){Source}) But it tells me that’s an invalid formula. Thanks for any help!

I have a file that I receive from my customer that I want to import then set up for my team to use. The issue is that the table comes in organization that does not work well in the airtable environment. Is there a way to pull in the data as truly just data then pull to different tables to build how I want and link fields. Thanks!

Hi there, I’m using tags in a table to create groups for records e.g. ‘homepage’ , ‘landingpage’ ‘checkout’ . In a one to many relationships. So, for instance, I have a table that has Observations | Tags record 1 | Homepage record 2 | Homepage record 3 | Landing page Then in another table I’m seeing Insight | Observations | tags Name | record1, record, 2 | Homepage, Homepage What I want is it to do Insight | Observations | tags Name | record1, record, 2 | Homepage When I do a lookup on the tags on a separate table. What I see is a record with the same tag repeated several times as it is linked to several other records. How can I make it only display an associated tag once rather than for every instance?

I’ve been having tons of fun learning how to handle DATETIME and IF() and SWITCH(), but I can’t figure this one out. I am measuring the difference in weeks between two calculated dates, and that bit is OK, but I want to replace all of the weeks in the past with an emoji. Picture added for the 1000 words I could otherwise use…! I’ve tried using an IF statement but can’t quite figure out which part of the existing statement is IF-able! Any pointers on that or should I be looking at another function for the formula? Cheers and thanks

How can link a column to a new table?

I can’t find the way to format properly to date a rollup field. The formatting tab return that it’s not a date field. I have that : 2020-10-05T00:00:00.000Z and I want just that : 2020-10-05 Yet, the field rolled up is a date and the aggragation formula is ARRAYUNIQUE(values) Thanks in advance
