Our system is setup in EST - however I’ve noticed that when I set up a view with a filter of “Xyz date and time is in 1 day” it shows GMT as the time zone. This is causing issues with emails sending too early - can someone tell me how this time zone can be adjusted? Thanks…

Hello there :slightly_smiling_face: I am using Integromat to import values from contact form to Airtable. In Airtable I have two tables Clients and Inquires and when contact form is submitted data is stored in both tables. I manage to set up Integromat to store data in new row in Inquiry and Client tab and to link records together. What I am trying to achieve is create new client tab only if the client with same email does not already exist. If there is a client record with same email, the inquiry should be linked to that record. Note; The primary field in Clients tab is “Client Name” and “Client email” is email field in Clients tab. The contact form does not have Name as required field and if name is not provided Integromat creates “Add name” linked record (This is the case in current scenario and it should remain that way if there is no client with existing email.) I would appreciate suggestions on how to achieve this. Thanks

The funny part is that when I change the data type in field in question from a formula to a plain decimal number - it all works! Does Airtable not support this kind of calculation when the primary field is a formula deriving data from another formula, or I am doing something wrong?

It would appear that the ‘Date’ field does not record seconds. Here’s why I think this: Here are the formulas I’m using to expose this: DATETIME_FORMAT({Date (no secs?)}, ‘DD-MM-YYYY h:mm:ss’) DATETIME_FORMAT({Created Time}, ‘DD-MM-YYYY h:mm:ss’) I hope I’m wrong about this. I need to be able to grab seconds from a ‘Date’ record.

Hi, As far as I can tell there isn’t an option to use a slider for entering numbers - or a way to set minimum and maximum. values. It doesn’t even look possible to have a slider for a percentage field. The only workaround I can think of for entering values quicky and having some kind of visual feedback of numbers is to use a rating field, but this obviously limits one to only 5 possible values, which is pretty limiting. This seems like a completely bizarre oversight in what otherwise seems like a really useful and excellent product - am I missing something? thanks, Josh

I have a formula which looks for the string “geo” in my URL column {Cloaked Link} then display all text it finds after it. But sometimes I will have the text “visit” in the {Cloaked Link} URL column instead of “geo”, so if that’s the case I want to pull out all the text to the right of that string. How can I do that? Here’s what I have so far: RIGHT( {Cloaked Link}, LEN( {Cloaked Link} )-FIND( 'geo', {Cloaked Link} )-3 ) Basically I want to combine that with this: RIGHT( {Cloaked Link}, LEN( {Cloaked Link} )-FIND( 'visit', {Cloaked Link} )-3 )

I want my custom block to include a calendar with a similar look to Calendar views. Do custom blocks have access to whatever Calendar views use for calendars, perhaps a react package, or would I need to import another react package?

Hi! I want to add a formula that does the following: If “created on” is within the last week OR “revisit on” is today, then TRUE (i.e. check a box or write true in a text field). “Created on” and “revisit on” are both date fields. This way, I can better filter my view (my filter includes both “and” and “or” conditions, which is why I need to use a formula). Thank you!!

Hey Airtable Community. Does anyone know how to count how many entries are made on a particular date ie if I had 5 forms completed today and 4 yesterday I’d love a column to autocount. It would be amazing to count the week too. Each form is a lead and I want to set targets and automate my results. Help appreciated. Thank you!

Hi there, I want to keep my block UI consistent with Airtable’s branding where possible. I noticed ColorUtils.getHexForColor here and that seems like a reasonable, but slightly cumbersome solution. Is this the preferred way to use Airtable’s colors in our blocks, or is there a more direct way to say, set the background color to a standard Airtable color? Thanks! P.S it was a bit hard to find that method in the docs as you need to click on the “ColorUtils” tab in the Colors section first. I had expected a more direct way or a pointer on how to get the hex values directly on the colors main page :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi all, I have two spreadsheets - one is a project tracker, and the other is a task list linked to the project tracker. I have start and end dates on the task list spreadsheet. Is it possible to link those dates to the project tracker and have the project tracker “start date” be the earliest start date of the tasks linked to it and the “end date” be the latest end date of the tasks linked to it? I want to create a Gantt chart from the project tracker but I want the start and end dates to be dependent on the dates of the tasks linked to it. Thank you!!

Hi there. I want to create a base to track my receipts for warranty purposes. I can just insert the purchase date in a column and track it myself, but what I would like to do is when the entry is one year old change its status in a dropdown column from “current” to “expired”. Thanks

No expert here / But I have been using the Send Grid block fro over a year. - I was able to figure out how to generate new API key- paste it-- Now it is not working. I have pasted in a number of new keys this morning. Is there some new verification that is needed.

Now that it is possible to specify permissions per table and field, it is desirable for an administrator to be able to generate an overview in a matrix. Is this possible?

Hello airtable community. Does anyone know a way to autofill part of a cell on a form ie when they only need to enter their instagram profile name on a form it updates my table with instagram.com/profilename? So pulling the instagram URL before it but automatically.

I have found that formulas entered on iPad don’t work correctly; especially if there’s a literal in them. I can go to my Mac and enter exactly the same thing and it works. Any solutions?

Typeform offers an Airtable integration, and I’ve managed to map my fields, except I need to capture the timestamp of the date/time that the Typeform was submitted. Typeform does capture this data and calls it “Submit Date (UTC)”. I wish to map the data of that field to a field/column in my Airtable. Have anyone figured this out? Is it not possible?

Please explain the Revision and Snapshot History to me. Does this mean that in the free version, any changes that I make to my records will be lost after 2 weeks? I am using this (or hope to) to track gardening, i.e. name of plant, location, when planted, attaching picture and tag info, etc. just something simple. I’m just concerned that if I update the info with new date and such that they will disappear after 2 weeks. Is this the case?

Hi everyone! I am almost done, I just need your help with the last part! I have a Zap that creates an email draft that sends an invoice when in a certain view. I initiate the process by checking an airtable checkmark, which then applied the invoice to the needed view. Sweet! AND it’s making the draft email just like I want! Heck yeah!!! Now, what I want it to do is delay for one minute (no problem) and then update the record that just triggered it by checking a checkbox. Is there a way to easily do this by referencing the record that triggered the whole thing? (This will then remove it from the view, per filter instructions) Thank you so much for any help!

I’m trying to use the Airtable JS library to pull a list of records filtered by a Linked Record field, and although I can verify the data from a certain record by pulling by ID, I cannot filterByFormula for this particular record using a Linked Record field where multiple records are linked. I’ve also just went straight to postman to ensure it wasn’t the JS library but in fact the API itself. I found an answer here on how to use filterByFormula with Linked Record fields, however the solution is not working although I’ve followed it to the T: https://community.airtable.com/t/filterbyformula-multiple-select/2075/8. It actually works with Linked Record fields that are 1:1 and not when 1:many. Hello all, This is my first post to the community. I’ve seen other posts similar to this topic, but they don’t quite address what I’m trying to achieve. I’m having an issue with a nested IF statement and not sure whether a combination SWITCH/IF would be best for this formula. I have two columns - column 1 (Date) and column 2 (Location) that is single select. I want a third column (Status) that returns a value based on what is populated in the first two. Logical Argument 1: If column 1 (Date) is not blank OR column 2 (Location) is ‘Outside Area’, the Status column should return “Yes”. Logical Argument 2: If column 1 (Date) is blank the Status column should return “No”. Any help would be greatly appreciated. @Jeremy_Oglesby

Greetings, Airtable Experts! Our small team is currently using both Todoist and Airtable to track our tasks :white_check_mark: . Ideally we would like to use Airtable exclusively (one stop shop!), but are finding it very hard to give up an incredibly useful Todoist Feature: the ability to email tasks to a project. You simply copy the link Todoist provides, paste in the TO section of an email, customize the subject line with due date/priority/tags, press send–and presto, there’s a new task in Todoist w/a link to the email. :thinking: Is it possible to accomplish something similar with Zapier/Airtable? I have a clunky work-around, namely saving a PDF of the email, then create the task in Airtable and upload the PDF. Any assistance would be appreciated!
