I have a table that keeps track of calls being made by volunteers. The base has 3 main tables: callers, people being called, and a call log where volunteers submit a form detailing their calls (the tables are all linked). The call log form has a field where callers put “yes” if they reached the person and “no” if they did not reach the person. I want to create a view of the “people being called” table where there are only the people who have not been reached for all of the lates 3 calls. How can I do this? I know I could do rollup fields for the calls, and I have used this to keep track of when the last call was for each person, how many calls total, etc. But I am not sure how to keep track of the characteristics of the 3 latest calls.

I want to be able to take live notes during a video recording, and then be able to go back into the recording and find things easily. More specifically, imagine a user: Opens empty table Types text into record 1, time is noted in adjacent cell as 00:00 (mm:ss) [it takes them 5 seconds to do this] Types text into record 2, time is noted in adjacent cell as 00:05 (mm:ss) [it takes them 15 seconds to do this] Types text into record 3, time is noted in adjacent cell as 00:20 (mm:ss) And so on…

I have a table that is suppossed to create records for file attachment and other details. Juding from code below, How do I attach files along with other records in airtable. Do I have to convert the file to base64 or just upload the files to a remote server and then add the file links in the record. Hi! :wave: I am using the PUT version of the Airtable Update records API. I have four columns/fields, Name , Contact , Attachment Image & Active. Now I call the API to update just the Attachment Image column, with the below API body : It updates the Attachment Image field’s value successfully, but clears all other fields. The record snapshots (before and after) look like - Before - After - So, how can I make the API update that cell ONLY, and touch nothing else? I’m trying to list all records using the Airtable API that have been updated in the last 24 hours. This job will run each day and check for the last modified column and if the date `IS_AFTER(TODAY()-1 DAY, TODAY()). I’m struggling with the syntax. Does anyone have any guidance on this?

Hey everybody! I’m starting development on a block for the hackathon – super exciting! I’m going to need to store a unique token for each user, because I’m going to need to do some OAuth in my block. I’m wondering the best approach to do this? I could store it in GlobalConfig, each token is accessible through the ID of the user, but I’m not sure about that. Any advice would be much appreciated! I noticed this is done the demo for blocks, by storing the Twilio ID and Secret, so I’m curious how it’s done there

Hello, I have a column that is called Contacts that lives in table Publications. In this column, each cell has one or multiple linked records that can be found in another table called Press & Media Contacts. A cell inside Contacts looks like this What I would like to do is to filter and select the rows that have a certain contact in, using the record id. The only way I could do this was to use filterByFormula and Name, not record id: "filterByFormula" => "FIND('Keith Shearin',Contacts)" What I would like to do is something like this: "filterByFormula" => "FIND('reclhWRUlh9q47Zfd',Contacts)" Where reclhWRUlh9q47Zfd is Keith Shearin record id. FIND is obviously not the proper way to do it since it finds a string inside a string. FIND(stringToFind, whereToSearch,[startFromPosition]))` Do you guys have any tips on how can I achieve this?

Can someone help me combine multiple roll-up fields into one? These fields are notes from another table. Instead of having multiple roll-up fields spreading across the projects table I’d like to combine them into 1 field. I’d like to add a “heading” of text in between each rollup to differentiate each note field. My current formula gives me an error. Hi, I need help with linking records with forms. I used this product last year to do exactly what I’m trying to do this year with no problems, but I am running into a problem now. I’m trying to make two different forms, and have information from the second form link to the first one. Specifically I would like the entrant’s email address to link to the first form. When I did this last year, the entrant had to fill out their email address on the second form, and then I went into the grid view and linked the records manually. This year, I can only find the option for the entrant to select their email address from the ones that are already listed on the first form. I’m using these forms for summer reading registration at the library where I work. We get about 700 kids registering every year. Allowing anyone with a link to the second form to see the email addresses of everyone who registered on the first form is not an option; it’s a giant invasion of privacy. I am more familiar with join tables, SQL etc. I have 3 tables: “person”, “activity” and “activitylog” “activity log” is essentially a join table that stores the person ID and activity ID. I created two linked fields in the “activity log” table and AT created two fields for each: “ActivityID”, “ActivityID (From activity table)”, “personID”, and “PersonID (from person table”) I am updating the join table from Integromat and it works fine, but I don’t understand why AT creates two fields for a linked record? What I’m trying to accomplish: log all activities people do and issue rewards based on accomplishing ‘missions’ show me who has done what activities (and other aggregate reporting) This is super simple in my old world of SQL server stuff, but is there a reason why AT creates 2 fields, or am I not going about this the right way?

Our system is setup in EST - however I’ve noticed that when I set up a view with a filter of “Xyz date and time is in 1 day” it shows GMT as the time zone. This is causing issues with emails sending too early - can someone tell me how this time zone can be adjusted? Thanks…

Hello there :slightly_smiling_face: I am using Integromat to import values from contact form to Airtable. In Airtable I have two tables Clients and Inquires and when contact form is submitted data is stored in both tables. I manage to set up Integromat to store data in new row in Inquiry and Client tab and to link records together. What I am trying to achieve is create new client tab only if the client with same email does not already exist. If there is a client record with same email, the inquiry should be linked to that record. Note; The primary field in Clients tab is “Client Name” and “Client email” is email field in Clients tab. The contact form does not have Name as required field and if name is not provided Integromat creates “Add name” linked record (This is the case in current scenario and it should remain that way if there is no client with existing email.) I would appreciate suggestions on how to achieve this. Thanks

The funny part is that when I change the data type in field in question from a formula to a plain decimal number - it all works! Does Airtable not support this kind of calculation when the primary field is a formula deriving data from another formula, or I am doing something wrong?

It would appear that the ‘Date’ field does not record seconds. Here’s why I think this: Here are the formulas I’m using to expose this: DATETIME_FORMAT({Date (no secs?)}, ‘DD-MM-YYYY h:mm:ss’) DATETIME_FORMAT({Created Time}, ‘DD-MM-YYYY h:mm:ss’) I hope I’m wrong about this. I need to be able to grab seconds from a ‘Date’ record.

Hi, As far as I can tell there isn’t an option to use a slider for entering numbers - or a way to set minimum and maximum. values. It doesn’t even look possible to have a slider for a percentage field. The only workaround I can think of for entering values quicky and having some kind of visual feedback of numbers is to use a rating field, but this obviously limits one to only 5 possible values, which is pretty limiting. This seems like a completely bizarre oversight in what otherwise seems like a really useful and excellent product - am I missing something? thanks, Josh

I have a formula which looks for the string “geo” in my URL column {Cloaked Link} then display all text it finds after it. But sometimes I will have the text “visit” in the {Cloaked Link} URL column instead of “geo”, so if that’s the case I want to pull out all the text to the right of that string. How can I do that? Here’s what I have so far: RIGHT( {Cloaked Link}, LEN( {Cloaked Link} )-FIND( 'geo', {Cloaked Link} )-3 ) Basically I want to combine that with this: RIGHT( {Cloaked Link}, LEN( {Cloaked Link} )-FIND( 'visit', {Cloaked Link} )-3 )

I want my custom block to include a calendar with a similar look to Calendar views. Do custom blocks have access to whatever Calendar views use for calendars, perhaps a react package, or would I need to import another react package?

Hi! I want to add a formula that does the following: If “created on” is within the last week OR “revisit on” is today, then TRUE (i.e. check a box or write true in a text field). “Created on” and “revisit on” are both date fields. This way, I can better filter my view (my filter includes both “and” and “or” conditions, which is why I need to use a formula). Thank you!!

Hey Airtable Community. Does anyone know how to count how many entries are made on a particular date ie if I had 5 forms completed today and 4 yesterday I’d love a column to autocount. It would be amazing to count the week too. Each form is a lead and I want to set targets and automate my results. Help appreciated. Thank you!
