I have 2 different lookup fields: Release1 = lookup individual item release date from another table ReleaseMulti = rollup multiple items release date based on condition (if its a multi-item) using MIN(Values) I then have a formula field: RELEASE = IF(Release1="", ReleaseMulti, Release1) Without grouping, this RELEASE field appears correct… for example showing 9/30/2020 in several records. However… if I group by RELEASE, I find that it will split into different groups if the 9/30/2020 is from Release1 vs ReleaseMulti in a different group This is very problematic. I know ReleaseMulti is an array value, and on a similar text based field I used &’’ trick I read on these boards which solved that issue. But in this date field adding the &’’ to the end of ReleaseMulti in my formula does not work. I also tried many combinations of arrayflatten, arraycompact, date parse, datetimeformat, etc… to no avail Can anyone advise how to get a single date from the ReleaseMulti array and conve

I’m trying to make a script to make product planning easier in conjunction with the gantt chart. I have four fields. startDate (date) endDate (formular) depended (link field to same table) lookUp (looks up the endDate via the depended link field) In the first record I put I set a startDate and endDate gets automatically calculated based on various parameters. in the second record link to to the first record and and the look up field looks up the above endDate, which my script then passes into the startDate and then it stops. My problem is that I want to have a bunch of records stacked on top of each other. Set the dependency field (which job it should follow) and press a button and then it’ll pass the lookUp endates into every start date, but because the lookUp takes a little time to update, it stops after the the first date. Is there away to make kind of make if loop over itself again and again until all dates with dependencies are filled? const luPlanRecords = await prodView.select

Hi everybody, I am new to using Airtable. I am sure that there is a formula for this but I can’t seem to find it or I don’t write it in a correct way. With a API service of a third party software I pull data from my Airtable. This data is dynamically filtered by using filterByFormula. The data I need is in the column called “groupcode” and has numeric values varying from 100 and 900. These numbers stand for product categories. Normally if I need products from the category with the number 212 I use the following formula. {groupcode"} =“212” But now I need products from category 212 and 268. Is there a way I can display only the records of two different specifc values ? Any suggestions or tips are appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Just wondered has anyone used Airtable to Organise their company manual? I am quite new to Airtable and getting a little over-excited - at the moment our company manual drives me crazy as it frequently needs updating (or at least small sections do) just wondered if anyone else had popped there’s into here and if so what it looked like and how successful its been

Is there a way I can add the same record twice in a linked record field? I’m building a product sales database. When I have 2 of the same item in a customer order, I can’t figure out how to add the same item twice in the order record. I’d rather not have to track each order item individually on it’s own row because it becomes difficult to calculate the shipping costs for each item in the same order. Mainly for Galleries Is it doable, or does it require further steps, such as anyone who visits has to become a collaborator?

Hey all, I’ve been trying to work this out on my own but it’s providing super difficult. I have a birthdate field and I want to find out the age. I am using DATETIME_DIFF(NOW(), Birthday, ‘years’) & ’ years ’ and I see the age however those that haven’t filled in the birthday field say Nan. I would love some help. Thank you

Hi! We made an Airtable form and we have a custom domain that we want to mask the form’s URL. We can get our URL to redirect, but we get an error if we try to actually mask the Airtable URL. Does Airtable block this? Our domain name provider says it is on Airtable’s side.

I have a TablePickerSynced that I’d like to filter the options for. Is this possible? I don’t see anything in the documentation that would indicate that it is, but I know the FieldPicker can at least disable certain options within the picker

How do I delete “unnamed record” across the gallery view or how do I fill it in? I can’t figure out either.

I am attempting to calculate asset depreciation using Airtable. I am calculating using the following Fields: Purchase Date: Date field Unrecovered Basis 1: A formula which is returning a currency value 1 Year (from Depreciation Conventions): This is a lookup to another table which has the 1 year depreciation amount. This is a numerical value (decimal) I have reduced the formula I am attempting to use down to it’s simplest form. There will be more switch states, but it doesn’t even work with the 1, so I didn’t want to confuse matters by adding more. The formula returns a result just fine, but I am unable to format it as a number (currency) and thus, am unable to use the value in future formulas. Hello, I am a new user- I created an Airtable base that is updated via Zapier from a Google sheet. The records seem to be populating from the Google sheet correctly, but when I try to Group by Client name, not all the records are grouped. I will have some records with the same name in it’s own group. This has happened a number of times so manually dragging those records to the other grouped records of the same Client name has become cumbersome. Has anyone else experienced this and know of a fix or what I may possibly be doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help on this topic.

I published my airtable grid on my website but want to block viewers from being able to download the grid. How do I do this???

I’m doing a simple budget with Airtable, and when I had done it previously there had been a summary bar at the bottom that summarized the currency fields. Now I don’t see any such thing. Is that only part of Pro now? Did they take it away entirely? Or do you need to manually add in the summary bar?

The result we are looking for is this: Acres…Farm Type Empty…Unknown 0.0…Landless 0.1-5.0…Small 5.1-20.0…Medium 20.1+…Large Trying to use this formula: IF(Acres = "", "Unknown", IF(Acres >= 20.1, "Large", IF(Acres >= 5.1, "Medium", IF(Acres >= 0.1, "Small", IF(Acres >= 0.0, "Landless", "Unknown" ))))) This is causing a conflict between Unknown and Landless. I have a table with {date_approved} column, now I want to summarize the count for this per week. For example: {date_approved} | {count} 06/01/2020 | 5 06/02/2020 | 5 06/03/2020 | 5 06/04/2020 | 5 06/05/2020 | 5 06/06/2020 | 5 06/07/2020 | 5 06/08/2020 | 5 06/09/2020 | 5 Let’s say 06/01/2020 and 06/08/2020 is Monday. 06/07/2020 is Sunday. Total count: 35 (Monday to Sunday) At present, this block is only summarizing the count per week, Monday to Sunday. But I it to count/group from Friday to Thursday by default. Is this possible? If not, what should I do to get the same effect? I just want to get a summary of {count} each custom week range {date_approved}. Thanks!

Hi, I have a table with several categories and they all have a month assigned to them (essentially types of activities being undertaken in that month). I want to create a view that shows one category across specific months. For example “Real Estate” in March, April and May. I can’t do it with filters, because I would need to combine AND OR filters. Can I create a formula for calculating Interest like the one I use in Excel: UPB*{Interest Rate}*(({To Date}-{Bill of Sale Date}))/365 In Airtable, this formula generates a NaN error message: I got it to work by breaking it out into two cells and using the formula recommended for differences in dates from Airtable’s support page on NaN errors: Cell labeled “test:” IF( AND( {Bill of Sale Date}, {To Date} ), DATETIME_DIFF({To Date},{Bill of Sale Date},‘days’), BLANK() ) And in another cell, this formula: UPB*{Interest Rate Total}*(test/365)

I’m trying to make gantt chart that calculates how long different product will take to make. Depending on how busy the workshop is we might work in the weekends - however if there is a national holiday or something similar we’ll not work. I’ve made comma separated iso dates for all holidays. I can easily calculate an end date with the WORKDAY(startDate, numDays, [holidays]) but I’m trying to find a way to calculate an end date if we worked in the weekends but not holiday. So basically is it possible to only exclude the holidays?
