I have a TablePickerSynced that I’d like to filter the options for. I’ve got the element conditionally disabled based on the presence of a selection in another TablePickerSynced: <FormField label="Which table holds the Events/Bookings?"> <TablePickerSynced globalConfigKey={GlobalConfigKeys.APPOINTMENTS_TABLE_ID} onChange={() => apptCheckTablesAreNotSame()} size="large" maxWidth="350px" disabled={!props.globalConfig.get(GlobalConfigKeys.PEOPLE_TABLE_ID)} /> </FormField> …but I’d also like the Tables available to be picked in this second TablePickerSynced to be filtered to only include those Tables to which the table selected in the first TablePickerSynced (props.globalConfig.get(GlobalConfigKeys.PEOPLE_TABLE_ID)) has a Linked Record relationship. Is this possible? I don’t see anything in the documentation that would indicate that it is, but I know the FieldPicker can at least disable certain options within the picker

How do I delete “unnamed record” across the gallery view or how do I fill it in? I can’t figure out either.

I am attempting to calculate asset depreciation using Airtable. I am calculating using the following Fields: Purchase Date: Date field Unrecovered Basis 1: A formula which is returning a currency value 1 Year (from Depreciation Conventions): This is a lookup to another table which has the 1 year depreciation amount. This is a numerical value (decimal) I have reduced the formula I am attempting to use down to it’s simplest form. There will be more switch states, but it doesn’t even work with the 1, so I didn’t want to confuse matters by adding more. The formula returns a result just fine, but I am unable to format it as a number (currency) and thus, am unable to use the value in future formulas. Hello, I am a new user- I created an Airtable base that is updated via Zapier from a Google sheet. The records seem to be populating from the Google sheet correctly, but when I try to Group by Client name, not all the records are grouped. I will have some records with the same name in it’s own group. This has happened a number of times so manually dragging those records to the other grouped records of the same Client name has become cumbersome. Has anyone else experienced this and know of a fix or what I may possibly be doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help on this topic.

I published my airtable grid on my website but want to block viewers from being able to download the grid. How do I do this???

I’m doing a simple budget with Airtable, and when I had done it previously there had been a summary bar at the bottom that summarized the currency fields. Now I don’t see any such thing. Is that only part of Pro now? Did they take it away entirely? Or do you need to manually add in the summary bar?

Hi, Airtable newbie here. We are trying to setup a table that calculates farm type based on size of farm. The result we are looking for is this: Acres…Farm Type Empty…Unknown 0.0…Landless 0.1-5.0…Small 5.1-20.0…Medium 20.1+…Large Trying to use this formula: IF(Acres = "", "Unknown", IF(Acres >= 20.1, "Large", IF(Acres >= 5.1, "Medium", IF(Acres >= 0.1, "Small", IF(Acres >= 0.0, "Landless", "Unknown" ))))) This is causing a conflict between Unknown and Landless. I have a table with {date_approved} column, now I want to summarize the count for this per week. For example: {date_approved} | {count} 06/01/2020 | 5 06/02/2020 | 5 06/03/2020 | 5 06/04/2020 | 5 06/05/2020 | 5 06/06/2020 | 5 06/07/2020 | 5 06/08/2020 | 5 06/09/2020 | 5 Let’s say 06/01/2020 and 06/08/2020 is Monday. 06/07/2020 is Sunday. Total count: 35 (Monday to Sunday) At present, this block is only summarizing the count per week, Monday to Sunday. But I it to count/group from Friday to Thursday by default. Is this possible? If not, what should I do to get the same effect? I just want to get a summary of {count} each custom week range {date_approved}. Thanks!

Hi, I have a table with several categories and they all have a month assigned to them (essentially types of activities being undertaken in that month). I want to create a view that shows one category across specific months. For example “Real Estate” in March, April and May. I can’t do it with filters, because I would need to combine AND OR filters. I saw a post about combining formulas: https://support.airtable.com/hc/en-us/articles/221561507-Combining-AND-and-OR-filters but can’t seem to write the correct formula for this. Can I create a formula for calculating Interest like the one I use in Excel: UPB*{Interest Rate}*(({To Date}-{Bill of Sale Date}))/365 In Airtable, this formula generates a NaN error message: I got it to work by breaking it out into two cells and using the formula recommended for differences in dates from Airtable’s support page on NaN errors: Cell labeled “test:” IF( AND( {Bill of Sale Date}, {To Date} ), DATETIME_DIFF({To Date},{Bill of Sale Date},‘days’), BLANK() ) And in another cell, this formula: UPB*{Interest Rate Total}*(test/365)

I’m trying to make gantt chart that calculates how long different product will take to make. Depending on how busy the workshop is we might work in the weekends - however if there is a national holiday or something similar we’ll not work. I’ve made comma separated iso dates for all holidays. I can easily calculate an end date with the WORKDAY(startDate, numDays, [holidays]) but I’m trying to find a way to calculate an end date if we worked in the weekends but not holiday. So basically is it possible to only exclude the holidays?

Is it possible to conditionally shade fields themselves instead of a color line on the left side of the entry? Those are NOT catching my eye at all, and I need them to!

I’m trying to make a script that’ll work along side the Gantt chart. I want the script to automatically to find the record above the current record and push that into a link field to create a dependency. Does anyone know if that possible? I’ve been looking through the documentation, and haven’t found anything to get me started.

I’m trying to connect to the API with a private code playground such as Codepen for quick experimentation. I have a table which is a collection of contacts which are family units (kids & parents/guardians). I had planned on establishing relationships between records by having a “guardian” field which would be a link to a record in the same table. This works great. Problem is that when doing that between 2 tables it creates a linked field in both tables so I get bidirectional link. When linking to the same table I don’t get that bidirectional link - the “guardian” record can’t see what children it has. I feel like I’m missing something simple but I can’t think this morning. Any way to get the bidirectional link in the same table?

Hello, I have a field where I have a list of collaborator. I’m developping a block and I would like to get all the users ID from my field of my table. I have a field named Postcode Area which is type formula and has nested IF statements. Is there any way to add a second action to an IF statement such as: IF (A=B, (action 1 & action 2), action 3) I would like to take the value that is returned from the IF statement and paste it into another field within the same table so that I can use it in another lookup. If there’s no possible way to do that in the IF statement, is there another way to duplicate the value of Postcode Area into another field? I have done this successfully with a script but I don’t know of a way to trigger the script when a form is submitted.

I’m trying to format a bunch of date ranges to be used in WORKDAY(). I created a script that collects these dates from a base and have them converted to iso-dates. However all my dates has a trailing time stamp of T00:00:00.000Z. Wondering if there is a quick way to omit of the time stamp so it’s only YYYY-MM-DD?

Hi Airtablers, I’m a total newb here and I’m struggling with forms for data input. I have achieved a passable/usable form on one grid which I would like to copy over and reuse with other grids rather than manually go through all the set-up and again. I’m pretty sure that this can be done since no one likes redoing stuff they already done. But, I have not discovered how. I would really appreciate hearing from you if you can tell me how to basically cut and paste a form from one grid to another. Thank you for reading. T
