Hi everyone. I have 3 Columns. DUE DATE, PLANNING WEEKS & DEPARTURE DATE I want to use a formula that sets the DUE DATE by looking at the DEPARTURE DATE and subtracts the number of PLANNING WEEKS. In other words, I want to automatically set my DUE DATE of each task by the PLANNING WEEKS before we depart(DEPARTURE DATE). I hope this makes sense. Thank you so much. Hello - I thought this would be rather easy to do, but something doesn’t seem to be working functionally. Any ideas why? I’d like to get the position of the word “Education” within the Company Industry (Lookup) field, which is a lookup on a second table. Why does it only work if it’s an exact match? And how can I adjust so that it also shows “1” for the fields with “Education Tech/Software”? (NOTE: I found it works if I change "Company Industry (Lookup) to a single line text, but I need the lookup formula) FIND("Education",{Company Industry (Lookup)})

I’ve been trying to display a Currency US Dollars with the traditional 2 digit cents, e.g. $24.31 But Airtable is not honoring the formating that’s been specified for my Cost Bais field. WHY? See the images Is there a way (easy) to make Airtable treat the floating point number as a dollar & cents figure?

Hi, my company uses Airtable to help project manage our operational processes. However, with safer in place enacted in California, we are unable to continue our operation for at least a month, and therefore we will not need the user accounts associated with our production managers until we can reopen. Since we are also looking for any ways we can cut costs right now, is it possible to suspend user accounts for a month and then re-enable them?

Airtable Newbie from Germany. On Android App right now. Set up my first base and tables. Customize fields: The first field I set up in each table can’t be reordered. It shows a lock sign (see screenshot). Even within new views it can’t be reordered. Why? Ought to be some kind of primary key field? Is there any way to reorder it? If not, I will always set these “first” fields up as auto-numbering fields. I did not find any information on this within help or community yet. Therefore your advice is appreciated. Thank you. Is there an ability to give outside access or sub-admin access to specified cells or information on a database spreadsheet resulted from form inputs? I created a table. Then I created multiple grid views (with various filters and sorts on them). Now I need to add a new field (column) and I want it to show up on all the grid views. So far, I can only get it to show on the one I add it to. Thanks for your help!

Dear Airtablers, I fully accept that I might be working non-intuitively, and am looking for help and suggestions. I‘m attempting to keep my accounts under control and wish to flag up the 4 possible statuses I can conceive - either an invoice is „Paid on time“, „Paid late“, „Open“ (unpaid but not yet late) or the worst kind „Unpaid and late“. As a beginner I‘m having terrible trouble but not much fun finding out how to do it. Hello, I have a table that rolls up sums from two other tables and displays them in currency format. My hope and expectation is for these values to match, and if they do not, the record is flagged. I figured this would be a simple IF function that looks something like this: IF({Rollup 1}={Rollup 2},“ :white_check_mark: ”,“ :x: ”) The result is what is confusing me. I find that even if the two rolled up values match with an eye test, they might still be flagged as being unequal, I’ve tried changing the formatting and expanding out the number to see if it has to do with some hidden decimal but have had no luck. By all appearances, the numbers match exactly. I’m not sure if this has something to do with how the records in the linked tables are formatted either but figured that if the field being rolled up is in the same format, this shouldn’t matter either. To ease the cleaning I would like to add within a column a specific code based on the corpus of the auto reply. Hi. If i pay for two users can I at any stage change who one or both of the users are? As long as I only have two users, does it matter who they are - ie are the fees attached to the number of users, not the individuals?

I feel like what I’m trying to do is simple, but I just can’t make it work. I want to remove the text in the brackets. Example below: [SUPV PROD - STAFF] Doe, John [SrDesign/Ani - FL] Doe, Alice [PRO/EDITOR - Ani] Smith, David I want to remove the all the text in the bracket and the brackets themselves. I can’t seem to figure out this formula. Here is what I would like to do. Compares today’s date with a specific field date. If today’s date is after field date I want to multiple field A by 10. If today’s date is before field date, then I want to multiple field A by 50. Regardless of which calculation is done above, if the sum of the calculation is 1000 or above, then I want 1000 returned instead. For example, let’s say field A has a value of 50. If today’s date is after the field date, then the value returned would be 500. If however, today’s date was before the field date, then the value returned would be 1000 (even though the calculation would by 50 x 50 = 2500, the 1000 limit would override it). For the life of me, I can’t figure this out. Can anyone help?

Hi all, Is there a way to sum the number of years passed (as a whole number, rounded down) from a listed date to present? I’m using this for an asset register. There are 4 important columns: A) date of purchase B) original purchase value C) annual depreciation (as a %) D) current value I’m looking to write a formula for current value (D) that will multiply the annual deprectiation % © by the number of years that has passed since the date of purchase (years since A), then multiply that by the original purchase value (B). For example, if 3 years have passed since purchase date, the original price purchase value was $1,000, and the depreciation is 16.67%, it would be ((3*.1667)*1,000), returning a current value of $500.10. How do I get that 3 to caclucate automatically in a formula?

We have two columns that we need added to a third sum column. Our first column is our Admit Date for people using our program and the second is Exit Date for when they leave the program. We need our Admit Date and Exit Date columns to populate to a total days in care. Right now we have the formula as: SUM({Exit Date}-{Admit Date}) but it is giving us a message of NaN when an admit and exit date are plugged in.

I have a formula for calculating when I can plant seeds, according to the LFD (last frost date), which is and will remain 3/29/2020. Weeks is how many weeks before the LFD I can plant the seeds. The formula: DATEADD({LFD},-{Weeks Start},‘weeks’) Currently I have a whole column for LFD that is set to autofill 3/29/2020 into every row, of which I have 350+. Instead of this whole column for LFD, is there a way I can somehow reference this number one time within a formula, or within one cell somewhere instead of a column of 350 rows with the same number?
