Hi everyone,I'm looking to create a formula where, given a specific day of the week, and a time range, the formula will generate an output, and then write a script where it will take the output and enter it into a Linked Field box. For example, on Wednesdays between 7:20am to 8:00am, I want to generate a result that says "Period 1." 8:06am - 8:50am would be "Period 2," and so on, so forth. We have different bell schedules for different day of the weeks. And then, once it generates the result, I want to have a script run to add the "Class Period" into the empty Class Period box. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any help that could be provided!

I've built a powerful "knowledge database" from which I share multiple tables which hold various interlinked records (from one table to another). These tabels are shared across to multiple other bases I run for my businesses, benefiting from a single source of live-linked data.My problem is that the synced tables flatten out any linked records that exist, even if I've also synced the second table which holds the other side of the linked record. We want our users to be able to open and work with these linked records coming from synced tables. Is there any sign of this being improved upon by airtable? Is there any workaround for this?

Hey guys,I have a team that is using the comments in airtable for their communication, where they tag users and user groups. When they tag users the user gets an email notification, but when they are tagged through a user group they do not get an email notification. Is there a way to turn that on?As a side note, I feel that the comments section needs an overhaul in general. Thanks!

All of automations have suddenly stopped working, while they test successfully. It's not about one automation, but for every and each automation in the base. The question is, what could be causing this problem, as everything worked perfectly until now.

Hi community,I'm struggling to understand why this whatsoever perfectly working tiny piece of script stops doing so when (seemingly) the 'start' date and the 'end' date are not in the same month.I am rather new to Airtable script editor so I couldn't find a step-by-step run mode, or a variable value watcher, but it seems that the 'days' variable is not computed correctly when 'start' and 'end' belong to a different month (for instance, 2024-07-15 and 2024-08-07 - however works perfectly with 2024-07-15 and 2024-07-31, and then 2024-08-01 and 2024-08-07)... leading to not entering the 'for' loop at all.Any clue anyone? Many thanks in advance!  let table = base.getTable('Man.days'); let inputConfig = input.config(); const start = new Date(inputConfig.StartDate); const end = new Date(inputConfig.EndDate); const days = end.getDate() - start.getDate(); var date = start; for (let i = 0; i <= days; i++) { let record = await table.createRecordAsync({ [

I'm trying to avoid having to add a view for each new coach in a coaching engagements base.  The filtered URL works beautifully in a browser, but when I add it to the embed code in the iframe, it gives me the airtable.com refused to connect message.<iframe class="airtable-embed" src="https://airtable.com/appNTRWwuGJYQDcYK/shrPcWPXGkhHeb30F/tbl38pqjIpX(rest of code hidden for privacy)&filterContains_Engagement=(First Name)+(Last Name)&filterIsAnyOf_Status=In+progress&filterIsAnyOf_Status=Awaiting+SOW&filterIsAnyOf_Status=Assigned&backgroundColor=blue&viewControls=off" frameborder="0" onmousewheel="" width="100%" height="1000" style="background: transparent; border: 1px solid #ccc;"></iframe>

Hi! I'm new to Airtable and I'm trying to create a dynamic data base. The goal here is to have a table with Clients info and then other tables that relate to the Clients info table. Let me explain it further: I have a table called Clients info but then I also have other tables such as Spaces (which offices they are renting and other information about these offices), Communication (social media profiles, presentations and others). I want for each record on the tables Spaces and Communication be related to the Client Info table records. How can I do that? Thanks!

I am trying to extract the first 6 digits from a rollup so that the main column is automatically filled with the resulting ID, but when I use this formula, I get #ERROR in the fields.

Dear All,Newbie here! To simplify our current workspace, we would like to duplicate our main base (let's call it A) and delete any entries in the duplicated version (B) with a deadline after June 2023. B will be used as archive for our past work. Then we would like to run an automation in A to remove any content with the deadline set till June 2023 (so we are only using what is for use " current content")This is a one-time automation; we do not need it to run multiple times. How can I set up the script for each scenario? Thank you in advance for your support and guidance, Best regards,Catherine

Hey all! I have what I suspect is an array issue with Airtable's back-end, but it's preventing me from filtering on the front end, so I would love some help.I have 3 tables: Books, Products, and Authors. A book might have multiple authors, and each author may or may not have a bio. I have made a roll-up in the books table for author bios with this formula: IF(values, ARRAYJOIN(values, "\n\n"), BLANK())I have also tried it with just the ARRAYJOIN, and no if statement.I then have a 1-to-1 relationship between Books and Products. In the Products table, I have a look-up of the roll-up of the bios in the Books table. Here's the issue: when a title has multiple authors, but none of them has a bio, the roll-up should obviously return blank. The look-up in the products table should return blank. But when I filter products by having the look-up be blank, the record in question won't show up. I tried filtering by newlines, whitespace, anything I could think of, but I can't find how AT

I can't get Block SDK to work with Personal Access Tokens. It doesn't accept the format and returns...Error: ❌ Invalid Airtable API key specified. Make sure you copied it correctly from airtable.com/account.Code: airtableApiKeyMalformed@Olafur_Petursso: I saw your post from a few weeks ago and adding the secret key seemed to work for you. You do mean this key, correct?Any help is highly appreciated!

Hi there!I need to send calendar invites by email automation to people I book for events. I'm using Make to create the calendar invite and upload it as a file in Airtable. Then, I'm using automations to send the .ics file as an email attachment to people I book for my events. They can then download it from their email and it creates a calendar invite for them. Everything seem to work just fine when I test things. However, I have two types of emails to send via automations : Initial invitation when I'm booking someone to an event :Triggered when the entry matches conditionsSends email with .ics attachmentThis one doesn't work and the error is 'An attachment url is disallowed' Updates (for when something changes such as the event duration) : Triggered when the entry is updatedSends emails with .ics attachmentWorks fine! Any idea why my initial email won't send? My guess is that it's because the trigger is too fast and the file hasn't completely uploaded to Airtable

Hello!I have a formula field set to format as a percent in the table. That field is then part of a linked record lookup field in a table that will trigger automation to send emails. I want to share that percentage in the email. However, when I use the lookup field in the body of the email, it only allows me to include the number as a decimal.  Is there a way to get this to show the percentage? The original formula field formatted as a percent:The lookup field settings:The automation's email token:The result in the email:Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

I am working on a database for a daycare. I have a table called Time Sheets with fields Arrival (date), Departure (date) and Duration (duration). (There are other fields in this table to link to each child.)I have a second table called Meals with fields Name, Start Time and End Time (currently they are all single line text). This table has 4 records:Breakfast, 7:30am, 8:35amMorning Snack, 10:30am, 11:00amLunch, 12:15pm, 12:45pmAfternoon Snack, 4:00pm, 4:30pmI want to determine if a child qualifies for each meal based on when they arrived and departed. If the child is present when each meal is served, they qualify. What is the best way to do this? I am still in the early building stages for this database, so if I need to reorganize tables and such, now is the time. Thanks in advance,Mr. Brad B.

We have formulas to check character counts and they're returning with "over character count" for long text that is actually not over character count because they're adding characters for line breaks. Is there a way to adjust the formula to not include line breaks as a character? For example, this would return 338:Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Fusce ac magna volutpat, pretium arcu non, ullamcorper erat. Donec dictum eros in tellus elementum sollicitudin. Morbi sit amet justo purus. Phasellus interdum eros eu quam euismod, sed efficitur lorem fermentum. Sed neque metus, dapibus at sapien at, pellentesque placerat ipsum. But the same text with line breaks would return 342 and if the character count formula were set to 340, would show as over cc:Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.Fusce ac magna volutpat, pretium arcu non, ullamcorper erat.Donec dictum eros in tellus elementum sollicitudin. Morbi sit amet justo purus. Phasellus interdum eros eu

Hey all, I have a table which is a  synced report from Salesforce that shows me opportunities coming up for renewal. I also created a different table with the same fields but is populated from the Salesforce report "SFDC Renewals Report" via automation: When condition is met (opportunity ID is not empty) - then create record in the second table "AE<>RAE Worksheet". My issue is that we moved accounts around in Salesforce and now some accounts have a different Renewal Account Executive or Sales Person. I cannot figure out how to automate the update of that Renewal Account Executive field in the "AE<>RAE Worksheet" to match the one in the synced salesforce report.  Any help is greatly appreciated

I am trying to write a formula to return the name of the column for each rows highest value. Attached is what my table looks like. So for example the first row should return blue, and the second row should return purple. Thank you!

Greetings Airtable CommunityI have a long text field with RTF formatting enabled. The text includes links to web pages, emails, and phone numbers. The web links are working perfectly, as are the email links (using mailto:)—but the phone numbers are not working. When formatting the phone numbers, I did the following:1) Highlighted the phone number2) Clicked on the link icon3) Entered tel: and the number (+3606500000)But when I click on the link, I see that the system has inserted 'http://' in front of tel: and this takes me to a "can't open the page" error instead of initiating a phone call. The system hasn't inserted 'http://' in front mailto:Thanks in advance for suggesting a solution! 🙏

I have tried to sign up several times for Academy to get some training and understanding of Airtable. Whether I try to sign in at top of page or register for a course I get the message "Sorry you do not have access to this page".  Any other training courses for Airtable that you would suggest?  thank you

Hello! I have had a colleague leave recently who made a form that links to data that gets submitted. However, I cannot locate the workspace the data is pulling into and cannot ask the colleague. Any tips?

Hiya!I'm trying to implement parts of Airtable's Project Management Template into a Project Management system for my organization. In the Getting Started section, it describes the "My Tasks" page as "a summary of the current user's work". I love that my team members will be able to quickly go to that page and see a summary detail of their current tasks. However - I can't figure out how to "auto-filter" the page.In the template it's set up as a page/group filter: Where {Assignee} contains "Malik Johnson". I know this is just an example filter in the template, but if I were to type a specific name in that filter, it would only show that person's tasks, regardless of which person is on the My Tasks page. Am I missing something? Is there a way to set up the filter as "assignee matches current user"?

Hello community,I have a table called attendance where each record is the date of the event, the participant, the payment.I want to automate the fact that each time a record is created from this table, it updates the list of participant from the table Event. Thanks for your help,Marine

Hi guys! I was wondering if you could help me figure out why I get those texts in the progress bar field? How do I get the bar to appear at 0%?

Hello! In my Inventory Tracking table, I want to name each item as: #Order Date-Product-Supplier. Everything looks good in my form when I'm entering the info, with the date format as expected, but then in my "Name" function field, timezone is included as "T00:00:00.000Z" I've tried reformatting the date field, deleting and re-adding, hiding it - nothing works to remove this extraneous info... any ideas? Formula looks like: (((("#" & {Order Date}) & " - ") & Product) & " - ") & SupplierI'm brand new to AirTable and appreciate any help.
