Hi everyone. I am trying to set up an automation where when a diagnosis field for a trip in one table is updated it finds the corresponding person (that is connected) in another table and updates a diagnosis field in that table where only different diagnosis is entered. Attached is what I have started. It doesn't run. I tried adding a find records step but couldn't configure the condition (screen grab also attached). Suggestions please!

Hi, I use to have 1 data base for sales, delivered or not, but for some reason I thought It would be faster for searches and stuff to leave the delivered sales in anothe identical table. So I duplicated the table and erased the records that were "to deliver"in the delivered and "delivered" in the non delivered.It didn't worked as planed and now Im trying to go back, but I can't find the way.I just need to merge them back into one. Is there any simple way? ThanksJuan

Very new to AirTable and I'm working in a file created by someone else. Right now, I need to know how to move a row. (The data is in Alphabetical order, and one entry name has changed. I need to re-order it. I just want to drag the row to a different place but it doesn't work)Also, I have grouped the data but can't seem to UNgroup it! The chat bot said to unselect the grouping criteria, but there is no way to do that. Help!

The List interface allows for Grouping of fields within records - which makes it visually much easier for users when records have many fields.Is this available for other types?  I would like it on Record detail but cant make it work.Margaret  

Hi,Our process includes creating hundreds of Google Drive folders for client sharing during a year. This is now done manually, and I am looking at automating it if possible. Ideally a trigger in Airtable would the use some information identifying the client, create a Google Drive folder, make the access "Anyone with the link", fetch that link back to Airtable, and send out an email to the client.Alternatively, Airtable would be watching a specified Google Drive directory for creation of new directories, then initiate the process of changing access and pushing the link to Airtable.Any ideas?Rgds,BjörnPS. We use Zapier, so that is a viable option for us. For cost and maintenance reasons I'd like to avoid other 3rd party systems.

Hi,We need to collect longer testimonials (round one A4) from hundreds of clients during a year, process them (re-write and polish before publishing) and have the clients approve the edits.Ideally I would just create fields for this in Airtable (draft -> approve button -> final -> published), but to my understanding Airtable doesn't allow free user to edit anything sent out form the base. And forms are made to be one-to-many, not enabling a form per client to be sent out, non?We use Google Sheets so I somehow vaguely think this should be doable with some creative Sheets integrations, but I can't envision it concretely.Anybody out there who could see this clearly, what would be the elegant and robust way to do it?BjörnPS. Hi. I'm new to airtable, but I have a background as an ERP developer. I'm doing baby steps on my application to see if I can get airtable to help me manage a member-run makerspace. Currently I do it with excel and google forms. Hopefully this is something easy to do with an automation, but I'm very green at present.I have google sheet that gets filled in each time a person fills out a google form, including their photo that is stored as a url to a google doc folder.  When I import the data from this google sheet, I can assign it as a url, but is there a way with an automation to take the URL and add it to the record as an attachment?  The end result is that I want to be able to send out a form to the board members to approve, along with the photo of the applicant, if they submit one. Currently I can do this in google forms, notifying the board via an email, but this is the first step of converting our system to airtable.Thanks in advance.Jeff

Hi,Being European but from Nordics, I want to have our dates as d.m.yyyy. This is not a built-in format in Airtable. I have therefore used DATETIME_FORMAT(SET_TIMEZONE(date, 'Finland/Helsinki'), 'D.M.YYYY') in some places where user friendliness is more important than elsewhere.The problem is, dates formatted this way do not sort correctly in an interface. Been a long time since I've used Air Table. Having trouble recalling how Linked Tables work.I have two tables, one Table is a list of all checks with primary field being a check number. This is a list of EVERY check related to a bank account.I have another table, that has a smaller subgroup of the first table. These are checks that were entered into our accounting system.  The primary field for this table is also check number.What I need to do, is take the larger group and check to see if the record is in the smaller subgroup, and flag it.  Thus I will develop a list of all checks in Table 1 that are not in Table 2.So essentially, Take each check in Table one, look in table 2 and if that check number is there, flag it.This way I can create a list of checks I need to add to my accounting program.I am a bit embarassed as about 5 years ago I had a grip on all of this, but at my age I essentially have to relearn everything after that period of time.I appreciate all help.  Th

Currently Airtable limits the a maximum of 20 google calendars to be added to a base. I am in need of adding more than 20 google calendars. In fact searching for a solution where there is no limit to add google calendars to a base in Airtable. Is there a workaround for this? 

I am struggling with the proper set up for my base.I am a manager of an HOA, and we are in the process of tracking all construction projects in Airtable. Applications are submitted via form and records are created automatically upon submission.Where I'm stuck is how to track the progress of these projects. Each have a Phase, and each phase has critical tasks that need to be completed before we can approve advancing to the next phase. Ideally, once all tasks are completed for a phase, the record would be updated with the next phase (with corresponding subtasks), and so on until project completion. A check list with conditions, so to speak.I have tried various templates, but none behave in a way where I can monitor and update records according to project completeness. Appreciate any insight on how to best tackle this.

Hey everyone,I need to find a way to list all the values from one column if those values meet certain conditions. Right now, I'm struggling to even find a way to summarise all entries from one column. The values in the column are email addresses, and the conditions are chosen by a single-select field.Just to clarify: I don't want to have one value/email address per line/record; I want to have all email addresses listed if they meet certain conditions.Example: I have a table with multiple records where I have listed all my customers. One of the columns in this table is an email address field with the customers' email addresses. There is another column—a single-select field—where you can select the status of that customer, for example, Status 1, 2, or 3. Now, I would like to have all email addresses from that table summarised in one field and separated with a comma, if the selected customer status is 1 or 2.I'm grateful for any hints I can get. ❤️

Hi Airtable Community, I have the following problem. I have a table with tasks and a table with projects.If a task is delayed by x days, I want to display a timing risk in the project. The tasks are linked to the project. However, the tasks are repeated for each project. Therefore, they always have the same names and are not unique. If a task is now delayed, the automation cannot know which project the task belongs to. Do I really have to assign each task a unique name or can I use the record ID somehow?Thank you and bestMirko 

Is there a UI to build a formula and get the resulting formula? The formula builder for creating views is useful, but I can't seem to find a way to get the formula out of it.Context: I'm trying to build a formula that filters records by 2 fields, an email field and a date field. What I have so far is: `AND({Notary 1 email (email)} = '${email}', IS_AFTER({Appt Date/Time (date)}, TODAY())` but the Airtable API request fails with a cryptic error: "The formula for filtering records is invalid: Invalid formula. Please check your formula text."

Hi. I'm working on creating an AirTable base with complaints. The form is made with Fillout.I wanted to know if it's possible to restrict access to a record if the user selects a certain option in a single select field. We'll have several people having access to the base and I wonder if I can hide certain records for an user A when a single select field has a specific option chosen.Thank you.

I have two tables I want to update when adding a new productTable A - Inventory Table B - Received ( Products received )Table C - New Item Table : Junction Table I have created a junction table so I can multiple "New" products quickly and that do not exist in Inventory.So in the automation I am doing the following 1. Copy New Inventory ID ( Run Script)- Paste onto : New Item Table : Field : Inventory ID ( Because of permissions I create an extra field also - New ID) - Took a while but working 3. Create new record : Received Table : Add quanity received / cost etc.. I tried to directly update Inventory ID field ( Linked relationship Field ) Linking Inventory & Received Tables - However worked only 50% of time then stopped altogether : Feel it was a time lag in the software So I created a new second Automation - Update Record 1. Hi everyone !I've encountered difficulties in validating the search for an ID. I believe there must be an error in my formula because, after integrating logs to ensure that I was correctly comparing the searched ID with the ID present in the table and the relevant column, I noticed that we have a match, but the formula generates a 'false' instead of a 'true'. Does anyone see my mistake?Thank you

Can the buttonAsync be created dynamically? I have an array of Order Numbers called filteredOrderNames. Can each value of the array serve as the button label? let selectedOrder = await input.buttonsAsync( 'Select Order Group from List below', [ {label: filteredOrdersNames, value: filteredOrders} ]);

Interface designer says "nothing is published" and does not give any action to continue on interface design. It only displays the error message.
