Hello, I'm looking for a method to link records with comma seperator like below:Ex: CDA, Fresno Foundation should be linked as CDA, Fresno FoundationBut my current job does the linking separately and creates two distinct linked records as CDA Fresno FoundationIs there a method to accomplish this? Please advise. TIA

Hello everyone,I have a table in which we record events. Some of these events relate to a media campaign that is also recorded in the same table.I have therefore created a column in which you can link a campaign when creating an event. To do this, I use a view in which only the campaigns are displayed.This works without any problems. However, when I assign an event to a campaign, I would like the assigned events to be displayed in the campaign data record.Does anyone have any idea how I can implement this?Currently, only the selected campaign is displayed in the event record, but not the other way around.I would like to be able to click on the campaign record and see all linked events.Does anyone have any ideas on how I can implement this?Thank you very much and best regardsMirko

Dear Airtable Community, I’m having an issue with assigning tasks in Jira an assignee from these leads in Airtable. The way my current automations work is every time I assign a status to a specific field, a task in Jira is created, already containing a lot of information from the record, Jira issue’s key is immediately saved back to the lead in Airtable, pretty neat system for us. For some reason I cannot set-up this automation to also assign the issue to a collaborator in Jira, using the collaborator’s name in the “Assignee” column in Airtable. The automation setting only allows me to pick one name, in other words only “Static” value is allowed, not “Dynamic” as with other fields. How can I fix this?

Hello everyone, I hope you can help me with this. I have a table with many records related to Spotify listeners or Instagram followers of various profiles. I usually review and update a lot of data daily. I have created an automation to generate a copy of all records that are modified in the source table and move them to another table so that I can track the evolution, for example, if the monthly listeners of an artist grow or decrease.The problem is that in the destination table, it creates a new line every time there is the slightest modification in any value of the source table. I would need to modify the automation so that, for example, it creates new records in the destination table only once a day, with the lines that have been modified in the source table during the previous 24 hours. Hello, I want to use forms to let people outside my organization link records among my existing tables. I don’t want to let them create new records. Just let them link one field to another. Is there a way to achieve this through forms? I’m having trouble with the primary field being just a string of text. Ideally, someone could select the primary field from a dropdown, and then link whatever they want to to that specific primary field, without creating a new record. Use case example I have a list of companies as my primary field. I want someone to use forms to pick a company and associate it to a topic (currently linked to a Topics table, it basically acts as a multiple select).

Not all data records are stored in my table A, so some fields are empty. Now I would like to fill the empty fields using a form. is this possible?Approach: I would have to select the data record or data from the primary field so that the data records to be updated can be assigned correctly. so that the missing data is added when submitting the form.

I want to monitor a specific field in a table called countries that stores comma-separated country codes like “GB, US, ES, SG” etc. If the data in the field changes in some way (i.e. a new territory code appears) then I want to trigger an automation (e.g. send a slack message) but I ideally want that automation to flag exactly what changed (e.g. “TH was added to the country list of record x”). Is that possible with Airtable’s existing functionality? i.e. that you can catch the specific change that triggered the change event? Thanks for any thoughts!

Hello AT community.Really scratching my head here, maybe someone can help.Some context, my company offloads data for carriers. We have clients that host access points, basically wifi radios, those access points each bring in a certain amount of revenue.I have a client table, an access point table (basically inventory), and a Access point revenue table. The Access Point table is linked to the client table so it shows which client owns it. The record ID for the Access point table and the revenue table are the same. What I need is an automation that will match the Access Point in the Revenue table to the Access point table to the Access Point in the inventory table. If they match I need it to pull the client that owns the access point and add it to the record in the revenue table. Hopefully that makes sense and thank you for the help

Alright, this is a bit convoluted, so I'm hoping someone out there is much more comfortable with automations than I am because this is driving me absolutely crazy. I have a list of companies that are being tracked as they're evaluated, but I want to be able to cross-reference them on the same table to indicate they're being evaluated for the same need. For instance, if I have records for Coke, Pepsi, and Dr. Pepper, I want to be able to go into the Coke record and have a linked record field that points to the same table, and I want to be able to link Pepsi and Dr. Pepper as also soda options.That part is easy, I've got it configured. The trick is that when I do this, what I want is for an automation to automatically go to the Pepsi record and update the linked record field to add Coke, showing the two are linked. Same for Dr. Pepper. The dream scenario is that Pepsi and Dr. Pepper would also reference each other automatically, but I bet that's probably pushing it a bit far.I am at a lo

Hello,I would appreciate if someone could help me.In the attendees column, I can link multiple names in one record.I want to create an automation that allows me to create a record in another table whenever a name is added in the attendees. I tried doing it using the automation in airtable: whenever a record is updated in the attendees a record is created in another table with the name of each person. But the problem is all the names are being shown in that table.So, how can I create an automation where I can have the name of each person in one record.

Hi guys!Losing my mind trying to figure this out – I thought it would be a super simple formula but just cannot get it to work. Here's the lowdown:I'm mapping out placements for an editorial website – there's a carousel that will feature 5 articles each week, rotating between 12 different articles. I want to be able to count how many times an article has already been used in the plan.So, I've got a table here that's grouped by each week (ie. Hi,I wonder if I can somehow give a copy of a Base to another user?I have a blank Template base (with just the column names and formulas and such) and I would like to give a copy of this Base to another user. This other user is NOT part of my company or organization. I do NOT want them to be a 'collaborator' in any senses - I just want to hand off a single copy of the Base to them, and then they can do whatever they want with it, and not involve us at all (or our account at all). So I've been developing an Airtable base for months to track & log operations. Since there are so many moving parts, creating google calendar invites are a must for the employees who will be a part of the operations. I've been reaching an error with the Google Calendar automation to create events, which I will show in a screenshot. I cannot seem to find what the limits are to find a workaround, some days I can only generate less than 10, other days I can generate around 50. It is never consistent, and I've been trying to find resources to figure this out - but I have not yet. If anybody has any workarounds, or knows the usage limits, that would save me so much trouble. I don't want to use any third party automation software, I would like to keep everything in Airtable Automations.  

In the form I have a data record field where all free rooms are displayed. All occupied rooms are not displayed. However, if I have a reservation for the future, the assigned room is immediately marked as occupied even though it is still available until the specific reservation date. So far I have no idea how to solve the problem.

Is it possible to subsequently edit an existing data record using a form, for example to change a status. without making the change directly in the table?
