Hi,I have an automation that looks at a view and adds every record in that view to the email and then sends it at 3pm every day.How do I stop the email from sending if there are no records in that view?

I have about 15 checkboxes in a form, I would like to output only the clicked checkboxes as text in email.Example:Check box “You need a driver’s license”If this is choppy, I would like to have the "title" as text in the email so that the customer knows what things they need.So far it only gives me "True".

Hello community! I have 15 separate single select fields with the possible answers of: 1. Firsts2. Second3. Third4. No Preference 5. I do not select this UWC I would like to create the individual columns "First" "Second" "Third" "No preference" and have the answers filter into these columns (rather than having all 15 individual columns open). Does anyone have any script suggestions to make this possible? The 15 single select column titles are: - Atlantic, Changshu, Costa Rica, Dilijan, East Africa, ISAK, LPC, Maastricht, Mahindra, Mostar, Pearson, RCN, Thailand, USA, Waterford Kamhlaba  Esentially, if someone selects:- First: Atlantic- Second: Dilijan- Third: Costa Rica- I do not select this UWC: all other columns I want to be able to see the Atlantic in column "first", Dilijan in column "second" and Costa Rica in column "third" so I an hide the 15 individual columns but still see the information I need more succinctly. Any help wo

Hi all! I am attempting to utilize data from "Sheet A" (specifically item names and quantities) and SUM the "Quantity" in "Sheet B" when the "item name" from Sheet A matches the "item name" from Sheet B. Is this possible in Airtable? I've played around with a few different formulas and field types but none have successfully produced what I'm looking for. I've also created a grouped view in Sheet A that groups by Item Name and it shows the Sum in that view if that helps.If possible, I would prefer for it to be a clean formula/rollup/link/or just about any other method than manually looking up the info from one sheet and keying it into another. To clarify - all of this information is housed in one Base just multiple sheets.Any assistance is appreciated!  

Does anyone know of a way to duplicate a base while keeping the record ids the same?We are trying to set up a "staging" instance of our Airtable tables but we have references to the record ids outside of Airtable. This causes all of the references break because new records ids are generated when we duplicate the base.Is there any way around this?Thanks,Chris

I am looping through a list of people in a table and adding them to a multiselect linked field in another. I have found andimplemented the following code to update multiselects without deleting the records existing values.I have found that this only works IF the record contains a value. I have been attempting to catch a hook in Zapier from a scripting app that I run daily. The content of the request is designed to capture some metrics from the actual running of the script. I have previously run caught a webhook from a scripting automation to Zapier with no issues. For some reason though, when trying to send a similar request through a scripting app I encounter a failed to fetch issue with some writing on CORS. I would like to create an automation that reminds me by email 1 month before a date from a formula field. Unfortunately I can't change the value of a formula field to dynamic or say the date is within 1 month like I can with a real date field. that doesn't work.

Hi,I created a script which takes data  in a project financial table and updates special table with payments report.I'm going to setup it to run daily or weekly automation, and add it to many projects in different bases.Problem with updating a single-select field 'Type' (of operation), when new Types appear.here is the issue, automation can't do that (script extension works ok):thinking about workaround - use preparation script, compare and check whether new types available, output them in variable 'newtypes', find any random record in destination, loop Update it's 'Type' through the list of 'newtypes', then return the old value.Then run main script.More clean solution, to avoid affecting Modified Date of existing record could be - Create new record, Loop update it with all new types, then delete it (by script).Unfortunately, Loop must be in the end. Im trying to write the same formula I have in excel in to Airtable and Airtable erases everything but the first if(and()) statement. IF({Statement} = 1, "3",     IF(AND({Statement2}<=50, {Statement2>0),1),     IF(AND({Statement2}>50, {Statement2}<=100, 1.5)),     IF(AND({Statement2}>100, 2))) I don't get any errors, it just erases everything after that first if-and. Im sure it's something small that Im doing that's causing it not to work but I cannot seem to figure out exactly how to write this in a way that returns the values I need. This entire document is essentially going to be built like this because it relies on data from 3-4 columns. Thanks for your help.

Does anybody have a good workaround for delaying email automations for (example) 10 minutes? Our situation: When a project goes over budget, an email is sent to the project manager But: the email will go immediately, which is a problem, because the project manager might simply be in the process of updating the record, and once he’s finished with his updates, the project might not actually be over budget. Therefore, we are getting tons of false notifications. What’s needed: Some sort of pause before the notification is sent out, where Airtable checks to see if the situation is still true for that record, before sending the notification.

I want to automate the synchronization between two fields in Make and Airtable. I have a “date” field and a “selection” field that contain the same information. I would like the “selection” field to be automatically updated with the same value as soon as the “date” field is filled. How can I achieve this?

Hello everyone,I have a table in which we record events. Some of these events relate to a media campaign that is also recorded in the same table.I have therefore created a column in which you can link a campaign when creating an event. To do this, I use a view in which only the campaigns are displayed.This works without any problems. However, when I assign an event to a campaign, I would like the assigned events to be displayed in the campaign data record.Does anyone have any idea how I can implement this?Currently, only the selected campaign is displayed in the event record, but not the other way around.I would like to be able to click on the campaign record and see all linked events.Does anyone have any ideas on how I can implement this?Thank you very much and best regardsMirko

Dear Airtable Community, I’m having an issue with assigning tasks in Jira an assignee from these leads in Airtable. The way my current automations work is every time I assign a status to a specific field, a task in Jira is created, already containing a lot of information from the record, Jira issue’s key is immediately saved back to the lead in Airtable, pretty neat system for us. For some reason I cannot set-up this automation to also assign the issue to a collaborator in Jira, using the collaborator’s name in the “Assignee” column in Airtable. The automation setting only allows me to pick one name, in other words only “Static” value is allowed, not “Dynamic” as with other fields. How can I fix this?

I usually review and update a lot of data daily. I have created an automation to generate a copy of all records that are modified in the source table and move them to another table so that I can track the evolution, for example, if the monthly listeners of an artist grow or decrease.The problem is that in the destination table, it creates a new line every time there is the slightest modification in any value of the source table. I would need to modify the automation so that, for example, it creates new records in the destination table only once a day, with the lines that have been modified in the source table during the previous 24 hours. Hello, I want to use forms to let people outside my organization link records among my existing tables. I don’t want to let them create new records. Just let them link one field to another. Is there a way to achieve this through forms? I’m having trouble with the primary field being just a string of text. Ideally, someone could select the primary field from a dropdown, and then link whatever they want to to that specific primary field, without creating a new record. Use case example I have a list of companies as my primary field. I want someone to use forms to pick a company and associate it to a topic (currently linked to a Topics table, it basically acts as a multiple select).

Not all data records are stored in my table A, so some fields are empty. Now I would like to fill the empty fields using a form. is this possible?Approach: I would have to select the data record or data from the primary field so that the data records to be updated can be assigned correctly. so that the missing data is added when submitting the form.

I want to monitor a specific field in a table called countries that stores comma-separated country codes like “GB, US, ES, SG” etc. If the data in the field changes in some way (i.e. a new territory code appears) then I want to trigger an automation (e.g. send a slack message) but I ideally want that automation to flag exactly what changed (e.g. “TH was added to the country list of record x”). Is that possible with Airtable’s existing functionality? i.e. that you can catch the specific change that triggered the change event? Thanks for any thoughts!
