Hi, I am having trouble figuring out an automation.I have a field for a project end-date, and I use an automation to enter a fiscal quarter based on a date table (and another automation to update that quarter if the date changes). When the project is cancelled or put on hold, I need to remove that date. When I do that, the fiscal quarter field remains as the last entered. Is there a way to have that revert to blank?Thanks!

I am building a "record review" interface, and I am struggling with the calendar element.  Each record has a series of dates as milestones but unlike every other field, I don't see a way to filter or format the calendar to show ONLY the dates of the record I am reviewing, it only shows the milestones for ALL records.Is there really no way to filter a calendar, either as a view or as an interface element, by a specific record?  This seems like such basic functionality I am struggling to accept this is the case.I found this thread which seems to clarify this, but I am re-asking in case I am missing something:https://community.airtable.com/t5/interface-designer/is-it-possibel-to-show-dates-in-a-calendar-element-within-a/td-p/183219

Hello all!I have a formula field in one of my tables that generates a custom URL to an Airtable form where I want to pre-fill one of the fields, and send the URL to the main point of contact through email.The formula is this:  CONCATENATE("https://airtable.com/XXXXXXX/ZZZZZZZZZ/form?prefill_ClientID=",RECORD_ID(),"&hide_ClientID=true") And it shows in Airtable correctly (this is a direct paste from the table field): https://airtable.com/XXXXXXXX/ZZZZZZZ/form?prefill_ClientID=recTuHzXP2YsNencA&hide_ClientID=true However, when the email automation runs, the URL that shows up has the 2 underscore characters removed, as follows:  You'll see that the "_" characters after the words "prefill" and "hide" have been stripped.  I don't believe it's the email client (Google) doing this, as I can email the direct link from the table through email and it comes through fine. Any idea why this is happening? John

Hello,My organization has developed a great app in Airtable for our really unique use case (context at the bottom). The functionality of the app is really, really great. The user interface design and usability is poor and is now causing problems, and I'd like help improving the user interface.The biggest problem is that we have so many different datapoints that we need to access, that our "Grid View" tables are too wide, so we can't see all the information at one time that we need to see. How can I transform my Airtable user interface into something that's really helpful and usable? All the data is there, and it works well, but the UI is too complicated. Does anyone have recommendations, best practices, or resources to help me understand how I can do this?I also considered using "Record Viewer" interface, but I need the "high level view" of all records, not just "zooming in" to one record at a time.I'd love to use List View and have a "2nd Row" of fields I coul

 Hey there. I came soooo close to getting a working formula for what I was trying to achieve but fell at the last hurdle.I have a date field and a number field from a lookup. I am trying to create a formula that gives me a new date based on the the date field and the plus or minus number in the lookup number field. I am using this formula currently which is working and showing the new dates correctly.DATEADD(Date, VALUE(Deadline&""),'days')  I am trying to update this formula so that it only takes into account workdays but anytime I also try to add this, I get an error in my formula field:WORKDAY(DATEADD(Date, VALUE(Deadline&""),'days'))doesnt seem to work. Wondering if someone can see where I am going wrong. Thanks in advance.

I have a table with fixed license plates, the cars should be checked regularly and a form is filled out. When the form is submitted, all data from the form should be entered in the correct place in the table.Example:Registration number: ABC-123 in tableVehicle inspection was carried out on a vehicle with a license plate (ABC-123) and now the data should be entered in the table where the license plate "ABC-123" is located. how do I do that?

New Airtable user here, so this is a pretty basic question (and so hopefully a straightforward answer!), though I can’t find existing guidance in the forum. Specifically, I’m having no luck creating a “Link to another record” column that automatically populates itself with those linked records. The Project tracker template provides an example of exactly what I mean: the Task column is linked to the Tasks table and automatically fills with any new records that are added to the latter. When I attempt to create a new “Link to another record” column with this functionality, however, it’s blank and stays blank (doesn’t pull in existing or newly created records from the Tasks table). What am I missing? Do I also need to create an automation, app, or something else to do the work of pulling in the records? (I don’t see any such automation or app in the template though). Any guidance extremely appreciated - thank you!

I want to preserve the setting from a search on an interface page, this needs to be dynamic, so a view does not work as I don't have access to the setting from within the interface page.Below is an idea of the search, location, age, gender etc... In this case a Filter connected to a grid inside a interface page shared amongst users. Rather than copy and email the link to them it would be great to name it and save it.If I copy the page url for this search the parameters are contained in the URL. I want to be able to save that url into a 'Saved Searches' table that we can refer back to a reload said search. 

My automation has a conditional step that runs if these conditions are met:{Date Assigned GMT} is on or after 10/01/2024 AND{Date Assigned GMT} is on or before 10/31/2024I am located in the Eastern Time Zone. I am aware that automations do everything in GMT.How can I prevent this step from running until it is really 10/01/2024 in Eastern Time? 

Hello, I am trying to use the “Update Google Doc” automation but I do not understand how to fill the “Content” section with the “Select field” option. I have created a google doc template with fields using the google add-on “Fillable Document”, but when I click on “select field” option in the Airtable automation, I do not see any field to select. Does anyone know how I have to set up my google doc template so that Airtble identifies fields from this file? Thank you Pascal

So I have a single Attachments field in a table that allows for multiple individual files to be attached to a record. I want to create another field that counts the number of files that have been uploaded/attached to that record. I then want to them pull this number into the primary field of the table to provide a quick way to see how many files have been attached to the record (e.g., 5 videos, 11 screenshots). However, the built-in ‘count’ formulas seem to be only counting the occurrence of an attachment for the record, not the number of individual files within the record; so as a result, it is only showing things as having 1 or 0 attachments, even though there are multiple individual files that have been attached to that record within the Attachments field. I came across an old thread about counting attachments (for some reason it’s preventing me from including the link here) but it seems outdated given the formulas now available, plus I could not get the formula to work at all. I’ve attempted to follow the recommendations here to detect duplicates in a field but have not been successful and could use some expert eyes on what I’ve implemented. So I’m a real estate agent and I use Airtable to keep track of all my deals. I have one block for rentals. In rentals it’s very common for a prospective tenant to want to see all my current active listings. I typically have 40-60+ rentals at any given time, some times more. Right now, when people ask for my list, I ask for their search parameters, go through the entire list myself, then respond back with a few listings. The problem is I have 25-75 people reaching out a day and 40-60 listings, plus an entire buy/sell side of the business. It’s becoming impossibly time consuming. So when I heard about the ability to create a shareable link to my up-to-date database, I got really excited. Especially when I realized I could hide fields that are for internal use only and I do not want prospects to see. But then I realized the primary field is the address of the unit and there is no way to hide this (but it’s really important to hide addresses for a lot of use cases I won’t get into right no

I have been getting this very annoying bug where when I start editing on any interface page, the logo and header images on all of the overview pages across all of the interfaces in that base are automatically removed. Nearly every time I publish after making changes to one interface page, I have to reupload headers and logos to all overview pages. I hope developers can fix this soon!

Hi guys, I current have a button that opens a url that is a Make Web Hook, I was wondering is there anyway for the same button to also update the record.My plan is to open url to send email in sengrid, aswell as update status from Open > Sent. Has anyone done this before? I would like to use a link from Google Maps in an automatic Emil. every time the connection is rejected. I had previously entered an address in Google Maps and then went to "Share" and copied the link and then stored it in an email in Airtable. every time I get the following message: see attachment

I want to create a IF formula that reads for a single select sell and alters a formula dependant on what the single select field says. For example- where Delivery Month is my single select cell =IF(OR(Delivery Month = "MARCH",Delivery Month = "APRIL",Delivery Month = "MAY"), (Cost*2*4)+8), IF(Delivery Month = "FEB", (Cost*2*6)+8, ))When i place above in, the cell accepts it, but no calculation is done and cell is left blank. Hi all - I work on a team that manages contracts and all of our data lives in Airtable. We use Favro, however, to track cross-team work to resolve post-contract enrollment issues. I then create a new row in a "Post-Enrolled Issues" table of our base that is linked to the primary contract table so that we can maintain visibility on each contract's issues while also reporting on summaries in an interface view.Double data entry, however, is no bueno. I have played around with and considered transitioning from Favro to a kanban view in Airtable, but without going into detail, have decided not to pursue this further.I'm therefore wondering if anyone here has experience integrating Airtable and Favro? I did ask a colleague check it out and they said, "The biggest problem I’m having with Zapier is that it will only pull one field from Airtable and make a new card with that field as the card name, so it’s not any more efficient than doing it manually. I created a Kanban in an interface. When I click on an entry the detailed view opens. It would be nice if you had the option of leaving a checklist entry with an entry as information for yourself.I once tried a “multiple selection” but you can only predefine the entries.You could try with a text field, but it would be nicer with a checklist where you can create the entries in the detail view.

Hi all,I've been running into an issue with an automation that I just can't seem to figure out; basically, I have one table which contains a date column (Reachout Tracking), along with a linked field to another table which contains contacts to whom I'm sending an email (Contact List).I'm trying to set up an automation where when I update the Date Sent column, it automatically updates another date column called Date of Last Reachout in the linked table: I know that something in the automation chain here is messed up, but here's the chain I have so far. It doesn't give me errors when testing but it also doesn't achieve the desired results:Any tips for how to successfully link and have this column update automatically would be HUGELY appreciated.Thanks!Patrick

Hello!!I have an automation I'm creating where I need it to do a "find record" based on email address.
