Hi Everyone!I'm relatively new to AirTable and figured this might be a question for you all! For context... I work with people who don't always reply to their emails or often miss conversations that we need their input on. Which means process get delayed when I don't get the answers quickly. That's okay though!Anyways, I'm looking to create a prefilled form link that can list out all the questions in one place and constantly update. My idea is that those who answer the questions immediately will only see the most recent while those who miss emails or don't reply will see all of the questions they have not answered. The first part, generating the prefilled form link I figured out.Now I for my ask for you folks - Is there a way I can conditionally hide fields if they answered the question in the past in the custom link. I'll use the example of one of my questions being "Vehicle" I know it won't be as easy but imagine their is a something like '&if'{vehicle}' '&hide_Vehicle=true'I

Dear Community, I have a trouble to hide a field with conditions in form view and I’m losing my mind with this. My goal logic is like this: HIDE field 3, when field 1 contains “word” AND field 2 is not empty. But form view has only option to show field with conditions. How I can make this field disappear with show field conditions ? Trying to invert the logic do not work: show field 3, when field 1 does not contain “word” AND field 2 is empty. Any ideas ?

Hey all I have a table where I have many hidden fields. I want to have a field only visible if a certain condition is true. Is there some kind of IF statement functionality that can conditionally toggle between showing/hiding the field if certain conditions are true? Thanks C

Hi,How can I change the order of the appearance for a field's records on an interface page?The field shows a linked table's records for a contact (calls made), and I'm using show as = 'Field' and style = 'Cards'. Here's a picture of it:I want the newest to show above the older ones, adding to the older ones when entering new records.I had this working already, and can't remember how I did it. After a sudden change yesterday (don't know what happened, all of the sudden the field's appearance changed completely), I can't get it back 😢.Rgds,BjörnPS. Is there a way not to show the record's primary field in the listing? There's is too much information, it clutters the UI. I'd like to select myself what to show there. Thought I had this also working before the sudden change, but of course I have no screen shots aved so I'm not sure... 

I am new to AirTable automations, so kindly excuse my basic nature of questions and problems.Please refer to the attached screenshot to see what the description below refers to.When testing an automation, I am expecting the “Update record” action to NOT be executed due to the "IF Condition" preceding the action.For this, before I click on “Test automation” button, I am setting the API_Response = ‘record rollback complete’ and Status = ‘record rollback’.However, the test Output on the right hand side panel shows the condition evaluated to TRUE, when clearly the input section shows the API_Response and Status values were such that it should have evaluated to FALSE.I need help to understand why this is happening and how can I set the If Condition so that the desired result is achieved.Thanks in advance.

This should be a simple fix but I'm not seeing it.I'm doing a record search in Make.com using the Airtable Search Record module. See the attached screenshots.I'm trying to filter out records that already exist. But I'm getting the same output regardless whether I use the NOT() function.If I use the NOT() function I get 15 bundles output from that module. I get the same bundles without the NOT() function.What am I doing wrong? 

I am wondering if there is a way to remove the unsubscribe link when automating emails from Airtable?I have tried using both the email direct from Airtable and the from Outlook options.It is not OK if our clients can unsubscribe from these emails as we need to ascertain information before their audit is conducted.I read in a previous support article that automated emails using Outlook should solve this but it didnt work when I just tried it.

Hello there! Currently we use Google forms to gather registration information from clients. Is there a way of creating a registration form on Airtable, from which the answers would go automatically to our Airtable base please? I am trying to avoid copying and pasting… Although I am sure there is a better way of importing this data too. thanks, Reeta

Very green user here. I have Airtable Free, and I have four tables in my base: Work Entries, Clients, Projects, and Invoices. I built my base by modifying the one presented here https://blog.airtable.com/supercharge-your-client-management-with-automatic-invoice-creation/#base Ultimately I want to be able to print an invoice file from a record of my choosing in the Invoices table, but for now the problem is...How do I create an Automation that will populate the new Invoice record I create with a form? I want to have Automation take just the Client I select and a date I select in the form, go to the Work Entries table and look for all records for that Client AFTER the last invoice date for that client (invoice dates are in the Invoices table), and then sum all the Billable Amounts (in $) from the Work Entries table, summing only those Billable Amounts that are both for the Client I selected in the form, and between the last invoice date and the date I enter on the form.

Hello, I have a look up field which displays a value generated from a formula that lives on another base. I am trying to create a formula field that multiplies the value in the look up field by the percentage value in another field that is generated within the same base (i.e. is not a look up field).I have tried the following:"Look up field value field" * "percentage value field"and then:VALUE("Look up field value field") * "percentage value field"I have tested the percentage field with a simple calc and it works. When I try anything involving the look up field it returns error so it is definitely the look up field thats the issue I think Any hints appreciated 🙂 

Hi airtable Community, I want to prefill muliple fields in an airtable form. The first fields (Project name) is working well but the second does somehow not. Both are normal text fields..What did i do wrong? Thanks & BestMirko 

I'm trying to build an automation that, based on a set of input values specified by a user, will output a set of available dates to create timeblocks in a calendar. The user specifies what date to start with, how many weeks to create these blocks for, as well as start & end times for the day, break time & duration, and how long each timeblock can be for (including some follow-up time). I have string fields and I want to extract the first two words (minus any punctuation or special symbols). Ideally, they would remove the white space and capitalize each word as well.So a field with “Midnight: A Tale” = “MidnightA”. ”What’s New in Books” = “WhatsNew” I’ve looked all over to find a way to get two words, but can only find out how to get one. I got into RegEx a bit, but couldn’t figure out how to account for the punctuation/symbols. If someone has a slick way to extract the first two words of a string, I’d be eternally grateful!

Hello,Bottom Line Up Front: I would like to know, how can I use my table's Primary Key as a Single Select / Drop Down Menu option in an Airtable Forms question. Backstory:I am creating a "Sign Up Form" in Airtable to allow Applicants to schedule themselves for my available appointments in the Appointments table. In order to link their Applicant Table (screenshot #1) record with their Appointment Table (screenshot #2) record, I'm planning to:1) List the Appointments (Primary Key from the Appointment Table) as a Drop Down Menu in the form so they can select 1 to schedule. 2) Have the Application # included on the Form, and prefilled through the unique form URL I give them, which will enter their Application # in that field on the form automatically. Hi FolksI am a newbie to AirTable, so apologies if my question seems very basic.My automation consists of an action script that calls an API for an external system, and if the API operation is successful, it sets the “Status” and “API_Response” fields in my AirTable to “continue next steps” and “Success” respectively.Then, a conditional logic block is meant to check if "Success=continue next steps" and "API_Response=Success" and if these conditions are a match, a Create Record and Update Record actions are to be executed.However, even when the API operation is successful, the conditional logic is not evaluating to true for some reason, when it should. Hi all, I’m building a CRM and have a field for ‘Contact Frequency’ set as ‘Single select’ with 7, 14, 30, 90 as options. I have a roll up field with ‘Most Recent Interaction’ which pulls from an ‘Interactions’ table. I would like to create a field to automatically mark as ‘Overdue’ anyone who’s ‘Contact Frequency’ has been exceeded. Some searching uncovered a formula which I have tried to adapt no doubt with a glaring error! I suspect that my ‘Contact Frequency’ options are perhaps not in the correct format or need a separate field to convert them into the correct format before a formula can use them? I am stuckHere is the situation:Up to 3 "quality checks" need to be done for some workflow. Each "quality check" has a check box fieldQC1QC2QC3Each quality check also has a single select status field "In Progress", "Review" or "Done".I want to show in a cell a quick overview of what quality check is still outstanding and if all are DONE it should show "ALL CHECKED"- If a quality check "QC A" is required AND QCA STATUS is NOT done -  it shows the letter: "A" (to signal that QC A still needs to be done)additionally to the letter A possibly shown:- If a quality check "QC B" is required AND QC B STATUS is NOT done - it shows the letter: "B"additionally to the letter A possibly shown:- If a quality check "QC C" is required AND still outstanding (not done) it shows the letter: "C"Once all REQUIRED Quality checks are marked DONE, the A, B and C (if required) should dissapear/not show anymore and instead the cel

Is there a shortcut to switch to the next/previous table? Like Ctrl+ Page Up/Down in Excel?

I have a base that has client names in a table and appointment date on another table that is linked to the specific client. I am trying to create a formula in the client table that will display the last appointment for that that client that was scheduled and another formula field that will display the next appointment date for that client. When I try to create a formula to look at the linked appointment date table from clients, it says it can't be calculated because it's not a date. Is there any way to make this work, which I am missing? Is there a way to send the document I created in the page designer extension straight to the attachment field rather than manually downloading it and uploading it to the Attachment field? I don’t have a big budget to pay for external services, but I have a lot of pdf to manage (more than 5k). Thank you

Hi,I'm pretty new at managing users in Airtable. I have downgraded a number of user accounts from "Editor" to "Viewer." However, many of them have regained "Editor" status, within a day of the downgrade.Are users getting some kind of notification when I downgrade them?Are there likely mechanisms for the users to regain Editor status?Are there reasonable ways to control for the Editor status, so that our number of Editor (aka billable) users is manageable?Thanks, and have a good day,Joe Montibello

I have the following script to create records in a table. Event Name is a Single Select field. But I get an error "Error: Field "...." cannot accept the provided value." await passTable.createRecordAsync({ "Event Name": event, "Event Date/Time": date, "Notes": notes, }); }  I tried:  "Event Name": [{name: event.toString()}] and "Event Name": [{name: event)}]  but neither of them work. Any suggestions? 

Hey I'm quite new but couldn't find an answer : I'm looking to show the average of a column in the interface. To be specific, I have a set of data from one table and I'm selecting certain data from another table, and I want to calculate the average of specific values from this other table in the interface. (It's for managing events, so I have a list of events in one table and another table with all our members and for example their age, and I select the participants in the specific activity and want to be able to calculate the average for example of the age of the participants from the list of members).Hope it's kinda clear, thanks!!

I've got an automation that creates new records based on content in the triggered record, but the linked info disappears after about 5 seconds and I see the attached screenshot.A more concrete example - I've got a project record that I can add defined tasks to from a task template table. I made a button to generate new task instances for those linked tasks in that project. Those task instances have a link back to the task template record.Initially everything works as expected, and I go to my tasks instance view and I see the new task instances that are linked back to the task template. But, after 5 seconds they disappear and I see the attached screenshot for the linked task template fields.
