I have two tables:Key Source FormulaSourcesWithin the Key Source Formula table I have a field called URL FormatAn example entry is:   https://www.website.com/search/?q="Company"&t=weekIn the Sources table I have a value called Company Name Texte.g. Apple, which I want to substitute into the URL Format. This should return a result like:https://www.website.com/search/?q=Apple&t=weekThe SUBSTITUTE formula I have is:SUBSTITUTE({URL Format}, "Company", {Company Name Text})It returns #ERROR.I have even used the Airtable AI to write this formula and it doesn't work.Any help much appreciated

So I’m a real estate agent and I use Airtable to keep track of all my deals. I have one block for rentals. In rentals it’s very common for a prospective tenant to want to see all my current active listings. I typically have 40-60+ rentals at any given time, some times more. Right now, when people ask for my list, I ask for their search parameters, go through the entire list myself, then respond back with a few listings. The problem is I have 25-75 people reaching out a day and 40-60 listings, plus an entire buy/sell side of the business. It’s becoming impossibly time consuming. So when I heard about the ability to create a shareable link to my up-to-date database, I got really excited. Especially when I realized I could hide fields that are for internal use only and I do not want prospects to see. But then I realized the primary field is the address of the unit and there is no way to hide this (but it’s really important to hide addresses for a lot of use cases I won’t get into right no

I have been getting this very annoying bug where when I start editing on any interface page, the logo and header images on all of the overview pages across all of the interfaces in that base are automatically removed. Nearly every time I publish after making changes to one interface page, I have to reupload headers and logos to all overview pages. I hope developers can fix this soon!

Hi guys, I current have a button that opens a url that is a Make Web Hook, I was wondering is there anyway for the same button to also update the record.My plan is to open url to send email in sengrid, aswell as update status from Open > Sent. Has anyone done this before? Any assistance would be really helpful Thank you!  

I would like to use a link from Google Maps in an automatic Emil. every time the connection is rejected. I had previously entered an address in Google Maps and then went to "Share" and copied the link and then stored it in an email in Airtable. every time I get the following message: see attachment

Hi All, Apologies if this is a question already answered. I want to create a IF formula that reads for a single select sell and alters a formula dependant on what the single select field says. For example- where Delivery Month is my single select cell =IF(OR(Delivery Month = "MARCH",Delivery Month = "APRIL",Delivery Month = "MAY"), (Cost*2*4)+8), IF(Delivery Month = "FEB", (Cost*2*6)+8, ))When i place above in, the cell accepts it, but no calculation is done and cell is left blank. Hi all - I work on a team that manages contracts and all of our data lives in Airtable. We use Favro, however, to track cross-team work to resolve post-contract enrollment issues. I then create a new row in a "Post-Enrolled Issues" table of our base that is linked to the primary contract table so that we can maintain visibility on each contract's issues while also reporting on summaries in an interface view.Double data entry, however, is no bueno. I have played around with and considered transitioning from Favro to a kanban view in Airtable, but without going into detail, have decided not to pursue this further.I'm therefore wondering if anyone here has experience integrating Airtable and Favro? I did ask a colleague check it out and they said, "The biggest problem I’m having with Zapier is that it will only pull one field from Airtable and make a new card with that field as the card name, so it’s not any more efficient than doing it manually. I created a Kanban in an interface. When I click on an entry the detailed view opens. It would be nice if you had the option of leaving a checklist entry with an entry as information for yourself.I once tried a “multiple selection” but you can only predefine the entries.You could try with a text field, but it would be nicer with a checklist where you can create the entries in the detail view.

Hi all,I've been running into an issue with an automation that I just can't seem to figure out; basically, I have one table which contains a date column (Reachout Tracking), along with a linked field to another table which contains contacts to whom I'm sending an email (Contact List).I'm trying to set up an automation where when I update the Date Sent column, it automatically updates another date column called Date of Last Reachout in the linked table: I know that something in the automation chain here is messed up, but here's the chain I have so far. It doesn't give me errors when testing but it also doesn't achieve the desired results:Any tips for how to successfully link and have this column update automatically would be HUGELY appreciated.Thanks!Patrick

Hello!!I have an automation I'm creating where I need it to do a "find record" based on email address. Hello community! I have 15 separate single select fields with the possible answers of: 1. Firsts2. Second3. Third4. No Preference 5. I do not select this UWC I would like to create the individual columns "First" "Second" "Third" "No preference" and have the answers filter into these columns (rather than having all 15 individual columns open). Does anyone have any script suggestions to make this possible? The 15 single select column titles are: - Atlantic, Changshu, Costa Rica, Dilijan, East Africa, ISAK, LPC, Maastricht, Mahindra, Mostar, Pearson, RCN, Thailand, USA, Waterford Kamhlaba  Esentially, if someone selects:- First: Atlantic- Second: Dilijan- Third: Costa Rica- I do not select this UWC: all other columns I want to be able to see the Atlantic in column "first", Dilijan in column "second" and Costa Rica in column "third" so I an hide the 15 individual columns but still see the information I need more succinctly. Any help wo

Hi all! I am attempting to utilize data from "Sheet A" (specifically item names and quantities) and SUM the "Quantity" in "Sheet B" when the "item name" from Sheet A matches the "item name" from Sheet B. Is this possible in Airtable? I've played around with a few different formulas and field types but none have successfully produced what I'm looking for. I've also created a grouped view in Sheet A that groups by Item Name and it shows the Sum in that view if that helps.If possible, I would prefer for it to be a clean formula/rollup/link/or just about any other method than manually looking up the info from one sheet and keying it into another. To clarify - all of this information is housed in one Base just multiple sheets.Any assistance is appreciated!  

Does anyone know of a way to duplicate a base while keeping the record ids the same?We are trying to set up a "staging" instance of our Airtable tables but we have references to the record ids outside of Airtable. This causes all of the references break because new records ids are generated when we duplicate the base.Is there any way around this?Thanks,Chris

I am looping through a list of people in a table and adding them to a multiselect linked field in another. I have found andimplemented the following code to update multiselects without deleting the records existing values.I have found that this only works IF the record contains a value. I have been attempting to catch a hook in Zapier from a scripting app that I run daily. The content of the request is designed to capture some metrics from the actual running of the script. I have previously run caught a webhook from a scripting automation to Zapier with no issues. For some reason though, when trying to send a similar request through a scripting app I encounter a failed to fetch issue with some writing on CORS. I would like to create an automation that reminds me by email 1 month before a date from a formula field. Unfortunately I can't change the value of a formula field to dynamic or say the date is within 1 month like I can with a real date field. that doesn't work.

Hi,I created a script which takes data  in a project financial table and updates special table with payments report.I'm going to setup it to run daily or weekly automation, and add it to many projects in different bases.Problem with updating a single-select field 'Type' (of operation), when new Types appear.here is the issue, automation can't do that (script extension works ok):thinking about workaround - use preparation script, compare and check whether new types available, output them in variable 'newtypes', find any random record in destination, loop Update it's 'Type' through the list of 'newtypes', then return the old value.Then run main script.More clean solution, to avoid affecting Modified Date of existing record could be - Create new record, Loop update it with all new types, then delete it (by script).Unfortunately, Loop must be in the end. Can't return old value, can't run main script(I put 'List of record IDs' in 'Record ID'(to update), it's not quite correct, but

Im trying to write the same formula I have in excel in to Airtable and Airtable erases everything but the first if(and()) statement. IF({Statement} = 1, "3",     IF(AND({Statement2}<=50, {Statement2>0),1),     IF(AND({Statement2}>50, {Statement2}<=100, 1.5)),     IF(AND({Statement2}>100, 2))) I don't get any errors, it just erases everything after that first if-and. Im sure it's something small that Im doing that's causing it not to work but I cannot seem to figure out exactly how to write this in a way that returns the values I need. This entire document is essentially going to be built like this because it relies on data from 3-4 columns. Thanks for your help.

Does anybody have a good workaround for delaying email automations for (example) 10 minutes? Our situation: When a project goes over budget, an email is sent to the project manager But: the email will go immediately, which is a problem, because the project manager might simply be in the process of updating the record, and once he’s finished with his updates, the project might not actually be over budget. Therefore, we are getting tons of false notifications. What’s needed: Some sort of pause before the notification is sent out, where Airtable checks to see if the situation is still true for that record, before sending the notification.
