Hi I am trying to figure out how to remove the NaN value when the formula is 0/0I need it to reflect 0.  I have tried IF() and IF(And( formula's but I cant seem to get it to work current formula is {Surveys Recieved-MGR}/{# of Managers} Does anyone have any solutions?Thanks !

Hi Airtable Community!Problem: I'm having trouble adding a linked record to multiple records without erasing the data that is already in the cell.ContextI've got one table of studies, and another table of people. Each person can be linked to any number of studies in a "Contacted" field. Sometimes that field is empty, if that person hasn't been contacted yet, and sometimes it has a few linked records (studies) in there already.If I contact 50 people, I want to add the study I contacted them for to their record. If I copy/paste the study to the cell, this overwrites the existing data , so if there were 3 studies in there to start, I'll erase them if I paste in the new study. What I triedI made a field that concatenates the study name I'm adding with the study names already in the "contacted" field, and it comes out as text. If I then paste the text into the "contacted" field, voila, I have all of the records, or so I thought! Turns out this just makes NEW duplicate records of all of

I’m new to airtable, it’s great! I’m trying to use it for a sign-off / authority database for leave requests, expenses claims etc. Is it possible to give a collaborator access to some columns but not others on the database? For instance they could create new requests but only people with sign-off authority could tick the “approved” column for requests. I know you could achieve this effect with a form for new entries but I’d prefer permission controls. Please let me know, thanks Thanks Lyndon

I am trying to create an order form for the company I work for. Right now we get orders through email, where the customer just writes what they want on a paper, takes a picture of it, and emails it to us. I need the madness to stop. So I've been looking to create either a form or an interface of sorts that will allow my customers to be able to input their name, and company info including shipping address, and then they are allowed to input their own part numbers and quantity.I do not want to create an inventory table for them to be able to choose, as there are thousands of constantly changing parts and numbers. The customers know the numbers they need to use and how many they need.I am new to Airtable but I do have a decent understanding of how databases are structured and linked relationships. I am having trouble creating the form and allowing the customer to input a number and quantity on their own. If this is too vague, I can explain further on whatever area needs more detail.M

I am looking to Run a script in an Action. basically whenever the Category “Done” or “Postpone” is set to the record by single select field. I like to run a script that deletes those records. The trigger is pretty much easy to do by the automation configuration. The script is the one I didn’t figure out how to do.

I'm a literary agent and I'm trying to create a way to track my submissions of clients work to publishers. I have a client table, a titles table and an editor table. It's tricky to do this in any of these because some editors will see multiple projects and keeping the feedback etc separate is giving me a headache. In the titles base I have an area where I add editors to a list when I've pitched to them and want to put them on my eventual submission list - at the moment this is a linked field with multiple select capability. What I'd like to do is have another table which essentially creates my submission lists and enables me to then go on an record submission dates, responses etc...I've tried to set up an automation so that a new record is created in the tracking table when I add editors to the multiple select field in the titles base so that I end up with a record that is basically TITLE X Editor A and the next field TITLE X Editor C... so that each one will be unique -

Hello everyone,I have a specific need that I can't seem to solve. Basically, my database includes training dates with multiple participants. At the end of the module, we ask the trainer to evaluate each participant on at least 5 criteria.So, for each training, there are 5 or more associated criteria. And each registration is linked to an evaluation form to which each criterion is attached, which are rated on 5 stars at three points in time: "beginning of the training," "middle of the training," and "end of the training."I need to send a form that groups all the evaluation forms of the session as a linked record. And then I need to be able to click on these evaluation forms and then on each criterion on which I can add a rating at the beginning, a rating in the middle, and a rating at the end (3 columns in the rating format). I tried using fillout, but it seems it's not possible to update a linked record, which is very restrictive. Hi,I'm new to AirTable and trying to work out if this is possible. I'm creating a form to collect data on various buildings and the facilities they have within them. I've got a starting list of facilities that I'm going to use a multi-select list for, with a checkbox option for other. If "Other" is checked I'll then show a single line text field for the data collector to add another item. However, there could be many items to add. Is it possible to keep adding single line fields on an ad-hoc basis.For example in my basic list I have:PrintersWifiWater fountainThe data collector finds that building A also has:Disabled accessScannersComputer labCaféThese 4 extra items also need to be added during the data collection and so would need 4 new text inputs to be added. Is it possible for the user to dynamically add text inputs to a form?

Hello, I want to send a form to users to sign up to an activity so the user can provide their contact information and their acknowledgement to have read certain conditions. I know how to configure the basic personal information, but what’s the best way to do the section for reading and acknowledging the conditions? I don’t have a place on the web to put the text to read so I can’t send the reader to an external link. Is there a way to link to a separate field in a base, with very long text ? I would have to do this for three conditions. I was thinking: One of the field has to be a long text “X” to read. The next field would be a single check box “I have read X” Any suggestions? Hi there,I'm trying to utilize Airtable to manage Shopify Metafields (among other things), but am striking out with doing this in what I believe to be the most logical way.I've configured a field (column) as "multiple select" with preconfigured options (the array). This ensures we're dealing with legitimate values.Syncing to Shopify, through the use of AirPower, requires the metafields to be in the format:["MF1","MF2","MF3"] I've used ARRAYJOIN to convert the array to a string in a separate field, but am stumped at actually formatting the square brackets and quotes.Suggestions?TIA,Jeff

I have a form to create tasks, and it asks the user to select a 'project' to link the task to via a record picker.There are a lot of projects, and they are duplicated for different clients, meaning when they use the form, and search for the name of the project we get duplicate results with no way of knowing which record is the correct one.Is there a way to pull in more information into the 'record picker' view, eg) name of client, etc? 

Hi AllI created a form for my drive team.  The form information has start time, end time, etc.  The form information goes into my master spreadsheet.  The team members do not have a paid AT account - Only I do.Is there a way that the information on the form that goes into my spreadsheet could be automatically emailed to the user that submitted the form to me?

I am creating an automation to bring into AirTable records from a Google sheet that is being populated by Google forms. One of the fields is a Date-Timestamp field. However, even though the formatting is the same in both the spreadsheet and AirTable (namely, Date-Timestamp with the same formatting parameters), the Test Run yields an error that says, “Field ‘Date-Time’ cannot accept the provided value: Could not convert string to date.” Shouldn’t an AirTable automation designed to bring in a variety of fields from Google Sheets be able to bring in Date-Timestamp data without converting strings to dates? Is this a bug? Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks. Mike

I am trying to use the API request to retrieve comments from a record using the following URL: v0/{baseId}/{tableIdOrName}/{recordId}/comments. However, I encounter a '[404] NOT_FOUND' error. I am using an OAuth connection in Make, which works when I use any other request, such as a simple 'Get a record': v0/{baseId}/{tableIdOrName}/{recordId}.

Hello! I am currently using the below formula to pull together a list of cities that correspond to a record. I have City 1, City 2, City 3, City 4, City 5, Cities 6 fields. Formula looks like this: CONCATENATE({BP City 1}, ", ",{BP City 2}, ", ",{BP City 3}, ", ",{BP City 4}, ", ",{BP City 5}, ", ",{BP Cities 6}) My formula works if all 6 fields contain cities although it doesn’t look great if only one city is listed. It ends up looking like this: Philadelphia, , , , , Anyone know how to fix the formula so that the appropriate number of commas appear so there will not be a string of messy commas at the end? I'm attempting to assign an Award Name to an Award Picked field if an applicant says 'Yes" they want to apply for that award.So, if someone says 'yes' to the First Award, I would like the Award Picked column to read "First Award Name".  Same for Second, Third, etc. (I have 21 awards). If they don't say yes, then it should be 'blank'.I tried the AI formula (which came up with the same thing I tried myself) but the Award Name does not appear, only 'blank'.Any help would be much appreciated!!

When the automation is complete I would like to send a single email with a summary of all the records created. Currently, it appears that Airtable severely lacks this as a native function to add further automation steps after a repeat group.Thanks!

I run a workshop / class business.When a customer books a class I need to manually link the customer to their class looking for the correct class title and date (there are multiple dates to choose from for each class).HOWEVER ... after having airtable for a year now (created for me so I'm still a relatively new user) I have accumulated 100s and 100s of classes and although I can type in the search bar the name of the class to narrow down the number of classes to search through (to find the correct date) there are still far too many and its never in date order either. Annoyingly classes dating back to 2023 will still appear in my search which I would love to omit from my search. Can anyone help? I can't delete the classes from my bases because I need the data. So how do I make it so that when I need to link the class (record) all I see are the dates "from today" or at least just from 2024?It's getting easier and easier to make an error as there are just too many to search through and th

Hello,I am attempting to use Airtable's Kanban board in Interface Designer to replace Trello. It's been going really well overall, however, I just realized that Airtable is not letting me change the order of cards in each column. Whenever I drag-and-drop cards up-or-down in the column, they just go right back to the exact same place and order that they were in before without any change. Does anybody know how I can update my Kanban Interface so that I can change the order of my cards within each column? This wasn't an issue until my lists of cards required a scroll bar.There's not a clear logic to the order the cards are in, however, it appears they might be displayed in the order that the record was created. If so, it would be surprising to me because Record Creation Date isn't a column I'm keeping track of, so I don't know why Airtable would sort by that.I added a screenshot from the Interface Designer settings showing that the data is set to "Sort" by "None"... so I think I "turned o

Hi Community, i have a single select field with the following options. I want to add up the results from different columns in a formula. To do this, I need to extract the score from the rest. I have a conditional automation. One of the conditions is that the actions only run if Formula = 1. However, airtable returns an error when this condition is included. The field is formatted as a number field. How do I get airtable to evaluate whether formula = 1? And why won't it do so in this set up. It seems fairly straightforward, so i'm surprise this is causing a problem. It's able to evaluate whether a formula = string.

Hello!Is it possible to enable the revision history to show exact dates (instead of "1w ago, 3y ago," etc.?I continue to run into this--where I am trying to find out when a change was made and I get these approximations. Hi Airtable ninjas, So I'm trying to build out an application form for new workshops that my customers can submit to apply. When I get their application, I approve their application and register them for the workshop. This triggers my automation, where I want to APPEND the new workshop data to the existing workshops that the customer attended (this happens on my Customers table).I've set up my automation to trigger with the Application status being marked as "accepted", then I used the Find Records action to find the related record in my Customers table. Lastly, I used Update Record action to update my Customers table, specifically the Workshop Registrations field, where I want all historic workshop registrations of a particular customer. As you can see below, I first selected the field from Find records that contained the existing workshops of a record, then, I added another field that brought in the new workshop selected by the customer in the form:The problem is, the LAST entry
