Hello Airtable people!I am trying to use the Rest API through a python script to create a subcategories table with a multipleRecordLinks field that links to a category table. I am having the toughest time trying to create this field and decipher the error messages I am getting. I've seen this question, but not the type of answer I'm hoping for. A CURL example is a great for me to translate the request. Similar to the CURL examples in the docs for List Records, it looks like I should be able to request records 101-200 using the offset value returned in the original request. The docs say it's a Query, therefore: ...?offset=itrvDOnB9cbRDnn63/rec1VA0JPORC2S9Zz It's not working. I haven't inspected the returned headers yet. So the questions:-- should the request be RAW or POST?--should/could the request be a JSON payload instead of querystring params? I need to retrieve thousands of records. My follow up question for data from a different table, USING JSON Payloads can I somehow filter fields? Is there ANY possible way to add color to the "Number" field inside the interface?I would love to change this dynamically; if positive green, when negative red. I have a bunch of these numbers on my interface that I'd like to track, and having this basic functionality would help to draw attention 

I am working on a project for a service company. I have a table with clients and then a table of projects that are linked back to the client. Clients are assigned a rate based on different factors. The rate is carried through to any of the projects they are linked to via lookup field. However, I would like to override the lookup field should we have a promotional rate or a specific project needs to be billed at a different hourly rate. Any suggestions?

We have a load of addresses in a database. They are individually pasted into a Long Text field.The issue:Some addresses are in this format - 51A Wigton RoadCarlisleCA2 7AYAnd some addresses are in this format- 51A Wigton RoadCARLISLECA2 7AY So the difference is that the Post Town is uppercase - which is what we want.But a lot of submissions have come through in lower case on that second to last line, which is incorrect. I need a formula to find and replace the all text before the last break and after the second to last break, ie. all text on the second to last line. And replace it with the same text but in UPPERcase.  The addresses are not always on 4 lines, sometimes they are on 5 lines, so we would need to work backwords from the last break. A formula to do this would be much appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

I have two tables:Table one shows a list of tasks done on different computers and when the task has been marked as finished:TaskId, FinishDateTime, Computername.In table two I have information who was logged in when on on which computer:DateTimeStart, DateTimeStop, EmloyeeName, Computer. I want to have in table one an extra column, showing the name of the EmployeeName that was working on that computer while the task was finished. So we need to use the FinishDateTime and Computername to query the other table to find a match with exactly this computer and FinishDateTime in range between DateTimeStart and DateTimeStop. The result of the formular should show just the Name of the Employee. I hope this is clear. How to create the formular? I am familiar with excel, where i would do some kind of nested vlookups, but have no idea how to achieve this in airtable.

I am trying to fix a formula for hours, but I can't find the error. For some reason, the last argument in an OR Formula is ignored.The base has 2 tables (Table 1 and Table 2)Table 1 has one record with the following values:Field 1 (single line text) = AField 2 (single line text) = BField 3 (single line text) = C Table 2 also has one record with a multi-select field. The values areField 1 = C, D, E, F My OR formula should check if any of the 3 values from the record (Table 1) is included in the multi-select field (array) of the record in Table 2.  OR( FIND(Field 1 (Table 1), Field 1 (Table 2)), FIND(Field 2 (Table 1), Field 1 (Table 2)), FIND(Field 3 (Table 1), Field 1 (Table 2)) )  When I add "C" to Field 2 (Table 1), then it's correctly counted.If I add C in Field 3 (Table 1) I don't get an error, and the formula just goes through. It just ignores the last argument, "FIND(Field 3 (Table 1), Field 1 (Table 2))". Does anyone have an idea

I have an Airtable automation that uses the AI module to summarize text fields for each record in a view. A repeating group iterates through that list. In Make, those newly updated records are processed through a Word template to output a report. I'd like to figure out a way to trigger them with one button press.There are three ways I'm aware of for triggering Make, but I can't figure out how to make any of them to work.Webhook doesn't work (I think) because I need it to happen sequentially, with the Airtable automation running first.Record update: my original plan was to update the status of a report record that Make was watching after the Airtable automation looped through the whole list, but it doesn't look like you can add another action after a repeating group. So I also tried a script within the group that would count the loop iterations and compare to the list length, and at the end of the last iteration, would update the record. But I don't think it's possible to save the itera

I want to create a chart that shows record counts of a table over time.  In our case, we have a table of clients and want to show how the total number of clients has changed over time.  I have a "Created time" column and I can use the COUNT formula to get the current number of clients, but I'm not sure how to get that COUNT over time.Any ideas?

I am trying to calculate the number of months between today's date and the "Test Date" field. When I use the DATETIME_DIFF formula it does not calculate it correctly for all values.  In the Test copy column I have this formula:DATETIME_DIFF({Test Date}, TODAY(), "months")It calculates some of the values correctly but then other ones wrong and I am uncertain how else to do this calculation in Airtable. What I need is that if todays date is Nov 7, 2024 then any dates in Nov 2024 would give a value of 0, any dates in October 2024 would show -1 but you can see the dates on October 16 and October 30 show a value of 0. You can see this issue also on the last row of the screen shot where the date of Jan 2, 2024 should be 2 but gives a value of 1.

I recently updated a form to "new forms" (by clicking on the "⇧ upgrade to new forms" button from a form view within a base) and edited/published the form via an Interface (as opposed to within a base, as I've done previously). I want to enable the same "email me at xxxxx@domain.org"  option that is available in the old form builder, but I don't see that option anywhere in the new Interfaces form builder. I've set up an automation to send me a generic email each time the form is submitted, but what I really want is the same nice email I used to get with an overview of the form responses. Am I missing something obvious? Or is this feature not available with "new forms"? Thanks!

Form question for you all. I need to capture phone number on an Airtable form however I can't figure out how to require it be entered as a 10 digit number so that area code is captured. The Phone number field type does not require the response to be 10 digits. I'm open to using the Formula field type however can't find a formula to use that would require 10 digits. Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

@AasiaWhen a form is submitted from he/she.  I want that Airtable to send a confirmation email for successfully submitting the form.

Hello!I'm using a prefilled form URL field. When a customer submits a button it opens the prefilled form in the corresponding URL field.The problem is that it works perfectly on desktop, but when using App, the prefilled form formula does not work.Is this expected bahaviour?Thanks!

Edit:Airtable response: Our engineering team has successfully deployed a fix for this issue (which arose from a recent update to our code) and any automations referencing an attachment should now run as expected without error.It's working again. In the Send Email action, in the Attachments section (Bottom) I selected the column that contained the file, and that file was attached in the email.3 days ago, my automation worked fine. But today, when the automation triggered, there was a problem (An attachment url is disallowed):I already turned off and on the automation, changed the trigger, changed pdf file for jpg, and always the same error.I tried the automation with records that already triggered a few days ago and worked fine (My trigger is a Single select column, so, to trigger it again, I deleted the value in the single select field, and select it again). ( I dont know how to do this). I have a web form with fields in it on the web site ( fluent forms on WP) . I have got a token and connected to Airtable but i do not know how i can use the fields in the web form to create the fields in the Airtable base?any help will be gratefully received. ash

Hello, I just signed up for the business plan and as it says in the plan (photo attached), it says unlimited editors. I have created an app that collects feedback through a form so I need many external people to be able to edit the form. Is there a way to do it without being charged on the invoice for each user who edits (the option to do it through a form link does not exist, I need to be able to edit the interface, not the data).  

Hi Airtable gurus,I am trying to create an automation that will locate a specifc record based on the record ID then update the Status field.It would look like this:Trigger: When a webhook is received (an invoice is paid in Stripe) I actually have the webook createdEvent: 1. Locate record (the appointment record that was created based on a Calendly appointment creation), 2. Update that record to reflect that the invoice for that appointment was PAIDI feel like I am close to getting the automation to work, but I can't figure out how to find that appointment record based on the record ID. Any help would be so appreciated! 

Hi, using the Free version I'm trying to import a  15MB Excel sheet into an existing base with four tables (3-6 records per table) but I get the following message:"testfile.xlsx exceeds maximum allowed size of 5 MB"I assume this is a limit of the Free version? If so; what are the filesize limits of Team and Business versions?
