Hello!We made the request to have the form answers emailed to the respondent optional; however, now I have a person who did not tick the box, who would like a copy of their responses. What is the easiest way to send that to them? I do have their email.Thanks!

When someone completes a form and a new record is created in the grid, how can I notify my team about the new record?

Hello all,New to Airtable and still figuring out things.I am creating a job board, and want some data to be blurred in the main page for non logged in users. I am attaching two screenshots -- one from Airtable and the other from the app I am using to create the board. For example, I want the Company details to be blurred.Is there a way to do this in Airtable (the app itself doesn't have any). TIA 

Hello,I am using make to create a google doc using information coming from airtable. I then download the google doc into a pdf that I upload back on my google drive, it works fine.Trouble comes when i try to feed back to Airtable. I have no problem with sending back a URL into airtable to open the document stored on Google Drive.But I do not know how to send the PDF into an attachement field in airtable. Here is my Make scenario:I have tried to insert a google drive share link action before the last airtable action and to pass this share link in the attachement field. Scenario works, and attachement field is populated, but clicking on the attachement in airtable opens a blank document (the direct link to the same document does open correctly).What do I need to do to correctly populate the attachement field?Thank you for helpingPascal 

Hi all, Hoping someone can help with a solution! My company has numerous assets that are “active” for long periods of time. I have a formula to calculate the “Active Status” based on the Asset Launch Date & Asset End Date (see below for reference). I would like to make an additional field that lists ALL dates an asset is going to be active based on the start and end dates (placeholder included in the image above). For example, if Asset Launch Date = 9/1/22 & Asset End Date = 9/5/22, I’d like the ALL ACTIVE DATES field to read: “9/1/22, 9/2/22, 9/3/22, 9/4/22, 9/5/22” Note: This field would be hidden 99.9% of the time and ONLY used in an Interface Filter element to allow users to type in specific dates (i.e. 9/3/22) and see the assets that will be “Active” on that date. If there is another solution you can think of, feel free to leave it here as well! Thank you in advance!

Hello! We are using Airtable for a project plan, where we have one table with tasks and one table with milestones (several tasks are linked to each milestone). We would like to calculate the percentage of tasks completed for each milestone in the milestone table, so we can quickly see that for a specific milestone e.g. 70% of the tasks in the task table have a status of ‘complete’. Hello,I'd like to ask for help in troubleshooting an automation. I built an automation that works correctly when I "Generate a Preview". BUT, when I go to actually use it, the automation does NOT work. I.e., it does not update my live/active Base in the same way that it updated the Test Record. Actually, it appears to have done *nothing* to my Live Base, lol. Is this a common issue???Specific Context for my Automation:Table 1 is "Applications" where Client Application Forms are received. Table 2 is "Sessions" which lists all of the available time slots for Applicants to sign up for.Table 3 is "SignUps" where SignUp Forms are received indicating a specific Application # is signing up for a specific Session. When someone completes a "SignUp" form it automatically includes the Session they're choosing as well as their Application # (through a Prefilled URL). I am attempting to create a SignUp Page in Airtable. My current iteration is live at this link. The form does meet the basic requirements I have, BUT the design/UI is lacking, especially the "Select Your Session" drop down.Is there a way I can change the "Select Your Session" into a Grid View, List View Interface, or even a Radio Button List within this form? Context: I'm trying to accomplish the SignUp process on an Airtable form because in addition to giving people a list of time slots to choose from, it enables me to prefill the guest's application number on the form (and hide it from the guest). This means the guest's application will be automatically linked to their session when they submit the SignUp form.I don't know of any other way to accomplish this because, for example, an interface doesn't allow me to prefill the guest's application #. Ideas or input welcome! TIA,ML

Hello community, I have an automation that informs the user by e-mail if the deadline of a task is before the start date. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it is not possible to set a dynamic validation for fields that would prevent this.However, if the user wants to move the timeline for the task, he usually changes the start date first and then the due date. this triggers the automation. Does anyone have an idea how to prevent this? best regardsMirko

I have 2 tables (Table 1 and Table 2) in a base (Base B). I have created 2 automations, the second one is not working.The records are created in Base A - Table 0 and synced to Base B - Table 1, so Table 1 is a synced table. The first automation works: When a record enters Table 1 (view X), a record is created in Table 2. The second automation doesn't work: when a record is updated in Table 1 (view X, all fields), update the record in Table 2The error is: The record does not exist. I wonder whether the problem is the fact that its a synced record. The record IDs in Tables 1 and 2 are exactly the same, but Table 0 shows a different one.Would anyone know how to fixt it? Thank you in advance. 

I'm trying to score based on a percentage another field is calculating.If Profitability is greater than 0%, score 2.If Profitability is between -5% and 0%, score 1.If Profitability is less than -5%, score 0.I can get it to work for greater than 0% and for less than -5% but it won't score the percentages less than -5%. I've tried at least 4 variations on this and can't get it right. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I have a bunch of automations that use airtable blocks and sometimes even use the airtable scripts. I want to do a step by step documentation of what the the script does in a separate file for future reference. Is it possible using airtable? Alternatively does airtable AI help with it? If not, are there any other tools that help with the documentation process? Thanks 

I joined a team that's been using Airtable for a few years and noticed there's a view that was created by someone who's now retired. Is there a way to tell who's using a view so we can determine if it's okay to delete it?

I am creating my first form. I am trying to test it, so I open an incognito tab and use a different email address to try to fill out the form. It goes like thisEnter URL"You're almost there... Please enter your email address to fill out this form"I enter a different email address, not associated with my airtable account. Click "continue""Create your free account" -> prompts me to enter my "work email" and click continueANOTHER "Create your free account" page, this one prompts me to enter full name and a password. At this point I give up. There is a progress bar on the bottom that implies there are several steps to creating an account. I just need people to be able to fill out my form quickly.I need the ability to have respondents fill out a form without having to jump through all these hoops and create an airtable account. As I'm quite new on Airtable, I need some help on the general approach for the following task:I already have a table of products for my Webdesign Agency with prices per year and use this also to track by renewals.Structure like in this photo:Now, I want to have a table, where I can distribute the costs to my customer. I would need to assign products to customers and based on the numbers of customer assigned to a product, the cost per customer is calculated (Price of the product divided by the numbers of customers using this product = price per customer) and it should be displayed like in this Excel table I use currently:Honestly saying, I have no idea, if such a scenario could be done with Airtable or if I should use Excel instead...So my question: Is this possible and if yes, is there any tutorial available, where such a scenario is explained?Thanks in advance for your help!Cheers Peter

I've created an automation where when a checkbox is checked on a record in one table ("Assets") it creates a story/issue in JiraI have a second table ("Jira Sync") that is the real time sync to all the jira issues/stories.My desire is to automate the Link/lookup of the jira record id (Key) to be assigned back to the Assets table but this is the part i cannot untangle. I know there's a way to automate a vlookup between two tables so i could match on the "Summary" field which should be an exact match between the two tables but I'm not sure how to execute that - would the trigger be when a new record is created on the Jira Sync table?Further more, once the Jira Key is mapped back to the Assets table, can i create an automation where if i update any of those fields on the Assets table (trigger= when a record is updated) it will update the issue in jira. thereby creating a two way sync?thank you! 

I’m averaging 3 columns, all rollups. Note that I have this formula in them, so certain cells are blank: IF(ISERROR(AVERAGE(values))=0,AVERAGE(values),BLANK()) The 4th column, where I want to average THOSE columns, has NaN if all 3 columns are blank. Which makes sense - I just can’t figure out how to get that 4th column to BE blank if the result is NaN. The column currently has this formula: AVERAGE({Value 1},{Value 2},{Value 3}) I tried to essentially mimic what I’m doing in the other columns but nothing I’m trying seems to be valid. Thanks!

Hello,I am currently running into the base exceeding automation limit and am trying to come up with a way to solve for multiple automations we have created by using a formula field or look up field.Currently, we assign users to certain tasks and we have another field that displays their phone numbers (long text field).  I am trying to set up a formula where IF a user is selected, it would then lookup/display from another table that user's phone numbers that are list on table 2.Is this process possible with Airtable?

Currently I have one apartment per row and the tenants #1 name, tenant #2 name, tenant #1 email, tenant #2 email as column name with the tenants info on the row. This hard to export the data this way or to sync to a crm with zapier. what is the best way to organize the contacts/ tenants in general so that easier to export or sync via zapier to a third party crm like cloze.   

Hi!I have an automation that runs through a few steps when a new record enters a form submission view (pictured below). I use the 'Find records' function to search a distinct set of contacts against email address -- if successful, the records are updated with new values. If unsuccessful, a new contact record is created. A few supplemental records are created as well.  The Find Records function is specifically looking for the Record ID to move into the update functions. In tests -- including test runs of the live automation -- everything works fine. It locates the Record ID, updates it in the next step, and everything is great. However, when I activate the automation and it runs live, it fails at the Record Create (or update) stage every time. And the error message is identical every time: It tell me is cannot locate a field with the name or ID fldcy0mx2HXa5Taae. It does not have this problem in testing (and will run completely through all of the steps
