I am creating my first form. I am trying to test it, so I open an incognito tab and use a different email address to try to fill out the form. It goes like thisEnter URL"You're almost there... Please enter your email address to fill out this form"I enter a different email address, not associated with my airtable account. Click "continue""Create your free account" -> prompts me to enter my "work email" and click continueANOTHER "Create your free account" page, this one prompts me to enter full name and a password. At this point I give up. There is a progress bar on the bottom that implies there are several steps to creating an account. I just need people to be able to fill out my form quickly.I need the ability to have respondents fill out a form without having to jump through all these hoops and create an airtable account. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this just how the forms work? And if this is how the forms work, is there a third party form I could use instead that won't requ

As I'm quite new on Airtable, I need some help on the general approach for the following task:I already have a table of products for my Webdesign Agency with prices per year and use this also to track by renewals.Structure like in this photo:Now, I want to have a table, where I can distribute the costs to my customer. I would need to assign products to customers and based on the numbers of customer assigned to a product, the cost per customer is calculated (Price of the product divided by the numbers of customers using this product = price per customer) and it should be displayed like in this Excel table I use currently:Honestly saying, I have no idea, if such a scenario could be done with Airtable or if I should use Excel instead...So my question: Is this possible and if yes, is there any tutorial available, where such a scenario is explained?Thanks in advance for your help!Cheers Peter

I've created an automation where when a checkbox is checked on a record in one table ("Assets") it creates a story/issue in JiraI have a second table ("Jira Sync") that is the real time sync to all the jira issues/stories.My desire is to automate the Link/lookup of the jira record id (Key) to be assigned back to the Assets table but this is the part i cannot untangle. I know there's a way to automate a vlookup between two tables so i could match on the "Summary" field which should be an exact match between the two tables but I'm not sure how to execute that - would the trigger be when a new record is created on the Jira Sync table?Further more, once the Jira Key is mapped back to the Assets table, can i create an automation where if i update any of those fields on the Assets table (trigger= when a record is updated) it will update the issue in jira. thereby creating a two way sync?thank you! 

I’m averaging 3 columns, all rollups. Note that I have this formula in them, so certain cells are blank: IF(ISERROR(AVERAGE(values))=0,AVERAGE(values),BLANK()) The 4th column, where I want to average THOSE columns, has NaN if all 3 columns are blank. Which makes sense - I just can’t figure out how to get that 4th column to BE blank if the result is NaN. The column currently has this formula: AVERAGE({Value 1},{Value 2},{Value 3}) I tried to essentially mimic what I’m doing in the other columns but nothing I’m trying seems to be valid. Thanks!

Hello,I am currently running into the base exceeding automation limit and am trying to come up with a way to solve for multiple automations we have created by using a formula field or look up field.Currently, we assign users to certain tasks and we have another field that displays their phone numbers (long text field).  I am trying to set up a formula where IF a user is selected, it would then lookup/display from another table that user's phone numbers that are list on table 2.Is this process possible with Airtable?

Currently I have one apartment per row and the tenants #1 name, tenant #2 name, tenant #1 email, tenant #2 email as column name with the tenants info on the row. This hard to export the data this way or to sync to a crm with zapier. what is the best way to organize the contacts/ tenants in general so that easier to export or sync via zapier to a third party crm like cloze.   

Hi!I have an automation that runs through a few steps when a new record enters a form submission view (pictured below). I use the 'Find records' function to search a distinct set of contacts against email address -- if successful, the records are updated with new values. If unsuccessful, a new contact record is created. A few supplemental records are created as well.  The Find Records function is specifically looking for the Record ID to move into the update functions. In tests -- including test runs of the live automation -- everything works fine. It locates the Record ID, updates it in the next step, and everything is great. However, when I activate the automation and it runs live, it fails at the Record Create (or update) stage every time. And the error message is identical every time: It tell me is cannot locate a field with the name or ID fldcy0mx2HXa5Taae. It does not have this problem in testing (and will run completely through all of the steps

Hi all - has anyone been able to bring a base back UNDER limit after going over? I’ve deleted over 10k records and emptied the trash without luck. So basically - we hit 50k records… got the “over limit” message. I went in and cleaned up some stuff - still “over limit”.

I tried posting this question yesterday but now I can't find the post so it looks like it didn't actually get created so I'm trying again.I've been tasked with creating an interface to our AirTable data using an API developed by Brightvine (Brightvine Data Link).  I can get back all the data using the API interface but I need to be able to pass in the last date the process ran on our end and get only those rows created since the last run date/time.  The BVDL gives me a place to enter URL parameters and I've tried using the "filterByFormula" option but I keep getting an invalid formula error.  The BVDL gives me access to the last run date/time in a couple of different formats when creating a parameter.Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Ray Porter 

Hello, Our records number has exceeded the 1200 limit however we then deleted several hundred records but the records number doesn’t appear to have reduced and the account is still warning we are over the limit. Can anyone shed more light on this or ideally how to resolve it? We deleted the records and then emptied the trash but it hasn’t changed. Many thanks in advance

Hi,We're working on moving automation mail (Gmail) content from the automations themselves to a separate table, where other than admins can maintain text.In the mail content there may be markdown URLs with clickable "friendly names", e.g. [Book here](https://www.calendly.com). I copied the whole text from the automation to "Long text" fields with rich formatting enabled. This approach doesn't however produce markdown URLs, instead they print out the raw markdown syntax ('[Book here](https://www.calendly.com)').Remembering that using CONCATENATE formulas for URLs works in achieving the "friendly names" I tried chopping up the mail content, and using a summarising CONCATENATE field as input for the automation instead of a Long text field. This works, producing "friendly name" clickable URLs.However, we have URLs in various places in the content, so chopping these up becomes really tedious, if not impossible. I’m currently a little blocked so maybe someone has more info on the following topic. Overall, I’m trying to create a database that has recipes where I can understand both the cost per recipe and the macronutrient breakdown for each recipe. Where I’m getting stuck is breaking down the nutritional values because some ingredients are in cups and others in tbsp. I’m trying to convert measures to grams but am having trouble connecting the conversion info to the recipe info. I'm using a simple formula to calculate the due date difference between today and the project due date:WORKDAY_DIFF(TODAY(), {Due Date})-1Which works for anything due today and in the future, but does not calculate properly for past due things. If today is 11/19, something due 11/18 should be Past Due by -1, but it shows -3. Given that it works for current/future dates, what am I missing here for the past dates?   

Hi,In our CRM we have several different situations, where reminder mails should start going out to contacts. Many of these are chained so that if the contact doesn't respond (e.g. sign up again after an event they cancelled), there will be reminders 1, 2 and 3 with some days time in between.Originally I created these as separate automations, it was simple and easy to overview. Is there a sequential order when a new record is created through a Form view? Can you define/control the order?

I'm trying to make a small CRM. Two of the main datatypes are Contact and Company. Clients work for Companies. When I get a new lead, I enter the Contact's information. When I do that, I'd also like to be able to create a record for their company if it isn't already in the Company table. So, bottom line, I should be able to either select a company, or type in the company's name and have it create a new record in the Company Table.I've created a simple interface to create a new contact, but as I understand it, interfaces only insert into one table. Is there any way around this? I thought about trying to add an automation, but it seems like the interface templates for adding new rows to a table don't support what I'm trying to do.

Hi everyone! I have a follow up survey that we send to customers via Airtable form. No prefilled info, pretty simple rating, feedback, and customer email to be filled out. Here's the kicker - we got a response back, and the customer entered @gmail.con instead of @gmail.com. The problem is, I have several follow on automations that are dependent on that email field to match it to the original survey request and then update both records accordingly, notify the user, etc. I already have modifiers on my other automations that corrects any caps to all lowercase, trim, etc to ensure the data is clean and matches. I considered using the "length" modifier, but considering I have no way of knowing how long any given customer's email address will be, that's not really an option. Now, I know I COULD just manually correct the email address, but I don't want to do that every time, and that also effectively avoids the trigger for one of my automations, "when form is received" do

I know airtable doesn't have the ability to do this, but I wonder if anyone here has a clever solution.For context, we're a non-profit vege farm. A few of the things we keep records on need many records created at the same time. For example, when I seed trays of 15 different crops in the nursery, or I sow a cover crop into a bed (sometimes 10+ species). Each crop in either of those instances has unique data stored against it - Date, quantity, etc.We need to be able to do this on mobile, as we're in the field, and unfortunately the table view of airtable isn't very easy to do this on mobile. And unfortunately having to submit a form 15 different times is confusing and time consuming. The ideal solution would be a form that could collect all data against each instance, but airtable doesn't allow that.Does anyone have any ideas to help with this workflow? I have seen on2air, but unfortunately as a non-profit, spending more and more $ on record collection is really real

Hi,As the subject line states, I am looking for a function within airtable forms that can allow me to change the available inputs based on the condition of a previous answer.The purpose of this, is to submit an attendance form of such.I am using a table consolidate all of the different departments as an individual record, and within that record, each employee is linked to their respective department.My intent is to use the form to submit a list of attendees, based on which department is involved.For example, I had a meeting today with Marketing, Finance, and Operations.On the form, there will be a linking field, where I input these three departments.Then I have an Attendee field, where I can link the individual attendees, based on the above selected departments.Is this possible? Is there a way around this?

I've been scouring this forum for an answer to a variant of "Convert String to Duration" but alas, no simple answers uncovered!In my case, I have a text field that contains duration as as string such as, "1:30:00."I need this to now be a field that is either a number (1.5), or an actual Duration type field.DATEADD(), DATETIME_PARSE(), DATETIME_FORMAT(), etc. formulas return errors and cannot format this particular representation of time as a string.What incantation of formula language is required for Airtable to do this so I can use this data?
