I just want to make sure I understand this properly.  I can create a mobile interface list view, but I can only sort by one criteria. I cannot then sort by a second one. For example I have TV shows and I can only sort by show name or episode. Not show name and THEN episode. Am I missing something?  Thanks  

Hello all!I need help with a formula field. I believe I will need to use the IF function. Each week, I have to do math based on data input in 2 different fields and then multiply that number by a static field to get my total. I have to do this for 50+ records each week, so I'd love to save myself the time and energy and have my TOTAL field know which of my two fields it should compute against my static field. A screenshot is provided so you can see, and below is a little more explanation.Thank you for any help!Each week, some of the shows I am tracking are in preview performances and some are in actual performances, but never both at the same time. This number can change each week for either, and each show will start in previews then move to performances. Hi,Due to rebuilding a lot of our automation to accommodate segment/tag based filtering for e-mail, I need to change my TAG fields. The TAG is a segment or interest area (e.g. nature, sports, food etc), and until now I have used this as linked records from a master TAG table. The automations I built require however the TAG field to be a single select, so I need to transform all of my linked record TAG fields to single selects.If I just change the field from linked record to single select I nicely get the existing values converted into single select values, but it seems all automations where this variable has been used break. There are quite a few automations and it feels both very time consuming and risky to re-build all these by hand.Can you think of another way to "convert" the existing TAG field to the single select type without breaking the automations?Cheers,Björn

Hi, I am hoping that someone might be able to help with a nested IF Statement I have a field that determines the size of an advert. I suddenly can't add multiple sync sources to my table.I'm on a business plan I have under 20 sources syncing to my table. Does anyone know what that might be the case? I can do it in other bases.I can add other sources in other bases:

I created an interface with tasks for each employee.I want each employee to be able to see only their tasks.I created a page with a filter for each employee, but I don't see an option how to make an exception so that employee X will not be able to see the tasks of employee Y and vice versa.How is it possible to exclude a certain page from any processing?thanks!

I am sure there is an easy way to do this but I am still fairly new to Airtable.I currently have a table that has six formula fields that give users information about their progress throughout the year based on criteria from other fields in the table.  I have created a record review interface that allows each user read-only access to see all of their updated fields as well as the information from the formula fields.  This is all working great except that multiple times throughout the year I need to go in and manually change which formula fields the users see.For example, at the beginning of the year, formula field1 is in the interface which provides the inital progress that the users will see. On date1, I need to change field1 to formula field 2; on date2, I need to change field2 to formula field3, etc.Is there a way to set up an automation to do this?  I am not finding an automation that will allow me to replace fields in an interface, and I don't know enough about inte

I have a table in my online portal with a hidden multi-select "filters" field that is only accessible via a dropdown menu but not visible on the actual table. I want to create an automation that triggers when my existing records (or newly created ones) matches the conditions I setup."If Field1 is none of ... and Field2 has any of ... update record FilterField with 2 filter options"The problem I'm running into is that existing records aren't updated, only newly created or updated ones. Of those newly created/updated records, it overwrites existing options selected in FilterField so instead of adding a 2nd option alongside the 1st one that is already on a record, it overwrites it and only inserts the option with is listed in my automation trigger. I have hundreds of records and it would take too long to do this manually!Thank you.

Hello everyone,I am working on a script where I send invoice data from Airtable to the QR-Invoice API to receive a QR invoice in PDF format. I then want to store this PDF as an attachment in an Airtable table for a specific customer.My goal is to automate the entire process (sending data, receiving the QR invoice, and saving the PDF as an attachment) within a single Airtable script, without the need for another automation tool like Zapier or Integromat. Greetings,Is there a way to customize Airtable forms in the following way? I'm building a very basic template of a SignUp system for clients, and I want to build an Airtable-only solution for them that they can use without needing to use Zapier, Fillout, Wufoo, etc.I would like to update the "+" sign in the Airtable form question below so it says something like "+Select Your Session" or to make it a custom image, or something like that. Is there any way to do this through a script, CSS, etc.??? The form looks good overall, but the lone "+" sign really isnt' very user friendly, IMO.TIA,ML 

Hello,I am having trouble syncing records across tables within a single base.Table A has a list of dates and times for appointments.Table B has a list of people who are scheduled for appointments in Table A.Table B, Column "Email Reminder Sent?" is a Checkbox field that indicates whether or not their Email Reminder has been sent.I have "Table B, Email Reminder Sent?" linked so it also shows up as a column in Table A. This way we can see the communications status for each appointment without going to the Table B.The problem is that when I'm in Table A, the Checkbox field is read-only and I'm not able to check/uncheck it. So i can "see" it in Table A, but I have to go to Table B to edit it.I assumed I needed to enable "Two Way Sync" to get around it, but it appears that this feature is intended for syncing between *different bases*. Based on that, I assume I'm missing something that's causing the problem above.What am I missing? How can I have two-way sync between two tables in the

IN a 2-Way Sync, what determines if a field is editable or not?The list Airtable offers seems very random, and in some cases is completely empty.Any suggestions to make a field editable?Some of the fields that are missing are simple text or date fields.

What is wrong with my formula that it is producing "#ERROR!" instead of an empty cell when {Most Recent Completed Event Date} is blank? DATETIME_FORMAT(IF({Most Recent Completed Event Date}, DATEADD({Most Recent Completed Event Date}, 9, 'month'), ""), 'M/D/YYYY') It is working perfectly for the ones that have a date in that field (e.g., if "Most Recent Completed Event Date" is 5/13/2023, it gives me 2/13/2024). If "Most Recent Completed Event" is empty, I want the formula to leave the cell empty, hence why I put the empty quotes as the alternative option. But instead, it gives me "#ERROR!" I tried looking up similar questions but I'm stumped. Thank you!

Each SR has its own project schedule, in some cases more than one schedule, depending on the KRs and deliverables.For reporting and tracking purposes, we plan to:Track project deliverables and milestones within the SR schedules and using a calendar view.Maintain a roadmap view for Leadership.Generate a report with custom PMO metrics.Use a form that, when completed, populates a weekly status report sent to all stakeholders across all SRs.My question is: In this scenario, should each SR project schedule be its own base that feeds into a single Calendar, Roadmap, PMO Metric Report, etc.?Thank you in advance, and I apologize for the basic nature of my question. 

Hey! I have 3 checkbox fields that indicate the completion of a task. I want to show completion of the tasks using the newly released progress bar on the Percent tab, but without having to manually type in the thirds (1/3, 2/3, 3/3). If I use a formula to sum up the checks as a third, then use another formula to make it into a percent, I still won't be able to get the bar since the formula field does not come with that feature. How do I get that % into the percent field without having to create an automation? Is that the only way, or is there an easier/simpler way to go about this?Thanks in advance 🙂   

Hi,I'm trying to figure out if there is a script or formula to allow for when cells are updated in a column of a Google Sheet to update a corresponding column in Airtable. Here's the scenario I have:I have a Google Sheet that is organized by client project and it tracks the number of project hours used. I'd love for when the corresponding client project's client hours are updated in that Google Sheet that it is updated in the corresponding client record field in Airtable. I see a lot of stuff for updating a Sheet based upon an Airtable trigger, but not the other way. And I know that there is a Google Sheets API to add a row, but that's not what I need either as no new rows are created, it's just a field being updated.Hopefully this makes sense. Would really love any guidance on this that someone may have.Thank you!Julie 

Hello, So I have an automation to trigger when a checkbox is checked (in screenshot). It works when I test it, but it's not working on it's own. Meaning, when I add a new record and then at the end I check the checkbox, it doesn't add a new record to the programs calendar. I'm not sure what the issue is. I'm tracking book publications and each of the titles in my database will have several dates for different formats - Hardback, paperback, ebook and Audio...I'm trying to create a formula that will automatically select the earliest of these dates so that I can use that to trigger something else.I've searched other questions and found this:MIN(VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT({Date Field #1},'YYYYMMDD')),VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT({Date Field #2},'YYYYMMDD')),VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT({Date Field #3},'YYYYMMDD')),VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT({Date Field #4},'YYYYMMDD')) )I feel like this is partway there but because some books don’t have all formats some of these fields will be blank for some titles and where that’s the case I just get an error message. Is there a way to tell it to ignore any blank fields?Thanks 

Wondering if it is possible to run the auto-number column, but conditional on another column. We are setting up a purchase order tracking log, and I would like things to autonumber based on the field for who is doing the ordering. So if Steve goes in to create 3 separate orders, he picks “Steve” from the single-select dropdown field “Ordered By” and then he gets a sequence of auto-numbers. For his 3 orders, he would get 1, 2, and 3 (I would have the key column by a formula that creates a unique ID based on “Ordered By” and the Autonumber, so it would probably be “Steve001”, Steve002", “Steve003”, etc etc). If Dave then goes in and enters an order for himself, what we would like is for the auto-numbering to restart for the new single-select entry “Dave” so that Dave’s first entry would get an autonumber “1” again, and the key field would be “Dave001”. If steve then goes to do another entry, he would get “Steve004”. So far, I am not seeing how to do this (or if it can be done). I realize

So I'm running into an error that I can't seem to fix. Whenever I try to set a condition based on a linked record or a formula field, I get that an unknown error has occurred.My first table, products, have a linked field to a record inside the main product master where the product's vendor is linked. So I've created a lookup field for the vendor record id and stored it inside my products table. The value for that record is "recSdTazTLqgiGtBb".My second table, Vendor IDs, which contains all of my different Webflow IDs, is also linked to the vendor in the table.
