Solved

I have read previous posts on this topic (syncing with Google Sheets) but a lot of these posts are from 2019, 2020 or even earlier. I would like to sync up my Google Sheets data with Airtable so my tables in Airtable update as Google Sheets updates. I am unable to use zzzBot because of privacy restrictions (?) and a lot of changes have been made to different integrations. Does anyone know whether it is possible to sync Google Sheets data with Airtable?

I am new to the free version of Airtable which I am using to keep track of my craft stamps. I have at the moment around 500 items which have sentiments listed. When I try to find a particular sentiment I search for eg has any of, but it gives me "enter comparison value" and all the sentiments I have created. What I want is just a search box so I can just type just one word eg happy, so all those sentiments are found. What have I done wrong please and how can I rectify it.

Summary This setup allows Airtable to automatically number collections of items that may not be in sequential order. Item length can be either fixed or variable, with only minor changes needed to the core system to accommodate the latter. Example To borrow from the thread that inspired this endeavor, say you’re building product codes that have a variant sub-code, and want that sub-code to automatically increment each time an item of a given product code is added in a new record. However, it needs to auto-increment each product’s sub-code separately, even when product codes are added out of order. For example, the first product code is 001, and its initial sub-code is 1, so the full combined code is 001-1. When you add a new variation of product 001, the sub-code bumps up by 1, creating 001-2. Now a new product is introduced with code 002. Because it’s the first of its kind, its full combined code is 002-1. If we then introduce a third variant of product 001, it would end up with a comb

I’m very new to airtable but have learned a lot by watching tutorials and searching the community. I’m not sure if I’m searching for the right thing for this particular issue though. I’m setting up an airtable for a client who has a form that needs to be completed by his clients on a weekly basis. He needs to know who hasn’t submitted the form 3 days past the day he sends it out which will be on the same day each week. For instance, he’ll send the email with the form attached to be completed every Monday and if someone doesn’t fill it out by Thursday, we need to automate an email to follow up and remind them to complete it. I’m thinking I need a field dedicated to auto-populating whatever the current day is or at least a formula that shows when the week starts and when it ends. What formula do I need for this? This is literally the last thing I need in order to complete this airtable setup but I can’t figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,I am setting up an automation with integration with Outlook emails. I can only find limited trigger options. I don't want all my emails to go into AT, only select ones. I figured I would do this by making the trigger conditional, i.e. only when an email is designated with a certain category will the integration trigger and the email post in AT. Does anybody know if this is possible?Thank you in advance, Christopher

I have a list of volunteers that, when I collapse all, clearly shows their hours for the year - see attached.I would like to sort by this list in order to be able to see who had the most hours this year.Is that possible? If not - how else can I aggregate the info to get what I need? Thanks!~Lisa

I have this formula for calculating the quarter and the fiscal year of when an invoice should be paid.Program Start date is 7-4-2024 (which is Q3). I want it to be paid the quarter after (so this one would be be paid Q4, FY24) but its showing Q3 - FY25. How do I adjust? the formula below for a "Program Start Date" of 7-4-24 to show that it should be paid Q4-FY24? IF({Program Start Date},"Q"&ROUNDUP(VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Program Start Date}, 1, 'months'),'M'))/3, 0)&" - FY'"&IF(VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT({Program Start Date},'M'))>=1,DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Program Start Date}, 1,'year'),'YY'),DATETIME_FORMAT({Program Start Date},'YY')))

Hello,I have a project table and a milestones table. I want to update the status of my project record to “complete” when all the statuses of the linked milestones are also “complete”i have a roll up field which pulls back the unique array of the milestones, so I have all the milestone statuses comma separated as a text string, but I can’t figure out the formula to look at that field and determine if all the milestones are showing complete or not

Hey there,Thank you for reading me !I have a small issue while using lookup fields within a formula.I've got 3 differents tables : projects, actions, animationsA projet is made of several actions which are also each made of several animationsThe project primary field is a formula : Year / Name (2024 / Orange)The action primary field is a formula : Project primary field lookup / Action Name (2024 / Orange / soccer)The animation primary field is a formula : Action primary field lookup / Date (2024 / Orange / soccer / 12/12)My issue is that in action & animation primary fields, some unnecessary "" are added, i get :Action primary field : "2024 / Orange" / SoccerAnimation primary field : """2024 / Orange" / Soccer"" / 12/12I have tried a few formulas but I don't get how I can remove them. Any ideas ?Thank you for your time, have a nice day !

I am looking for a way to parse a lookup field (Sprint Start Date) that contains multiple, comma-separated date values, and pull the most recent date into a new field. For example:IF --> Sprint Start Date = 2024-10-12, 2024-12-22THEN --> Formula Field = 2024-12-22 I have tried to use the following formula to parse the Sprint Start Date field and convert it, but it always returns the same value, or an error:DATETIME_PARSE(MAX(IF({Sprint Start Date}), VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT({Sprint Start Date}, 'YYYYMMDD'))))Outcome #1: 12/31/1969 Outcome #2: #ERROR!I have also tried this, which gets me closer, but not quite what I'm after:DATETIME_PARSE(MAX(IF({Sprint Start Date}), VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT({Sprint Start Date}, 'YYYYMMDD'))),'YYYYMMDD')In this case, I get one of two outcomes:Outcome #1: The correct date, minus one daye.g. If Sprint Start Date = 12-02-2025 the formula field returns 12/01/2025T

I'm attempting to paste Date and Time information into an Airtable "Date" field which has the "Include time" option checked. But, when I paste Date and Time information, it all goes in the "Date" part of the cell, and none of the text goes into the "Time" part of the cell. For example, I'm trying to paste "11/21/2024 10:00 AM" into the Date and Time cell, but it puts all of this text under the "Date" portion, keeps the cursor in the "Date" portion, and enters the current time (i.e., 2:13 PM) in the "Time" portion of the cell, lol.How can I accomplish this basic copy-and-paste operation with Airtable's Date-and-Time formatted column so the Date goes in the Date, and the Time goes in the Time? For those unfamiliar, Airtable's "Date" field with "Include time" checked creates a cell with seemingly two cells within it, as shown in the screenshot below. Finally - I have all my data in a Google Sheets spreadsheet, which I could easily copy-and-paste into the Airtable table. BUT, right

Hi, I have two tables for which I'd like create a formulaTable 1Feature NameFeature End Date Table 2Sprint NumberSprint Start DateSprint End DateI'd like to create a formula that checks if "Feature End Date" is between "Sprint Start Date" and "Sprint End Date" and if so, assign a Sprint Number accordingly. How can I achieve that in airtable?

Hi,I am trying to understand how interfaces and users interact. I have a series of interfaces that I intend to have users edit the information for certain fields.I have set up the interface pages to have the correct fields editable and I set up a user (different from the owner) so that I could check that it is working properly. When I go into it with the test user though set as an Editor, I am unable to edit the fields that I should be able to. Can anyone please explain how this work, or how I should have the interfaces so that they can be edited by users? Thanks in advance for anyone's help. S

“Client Table” contains clients in column A. One client to a row. Each client belongs to a group (Group 1, Group 2, Group 3, etc), which is listed in column B.  “Project Table” contains projects. The name of each project is in column A. Each project has one or more clients. One project could have clients from multiple groups. I’d like a column in the Project Table to list all the groups represented in a project.  Thanks!

Hello,I am celebrating my automation is now working, however, whenever it seems that Airtable is sending me an automatic email titled, "Something went wrong with an automation...". I've pasted the email and error screen below. Can you help me understand if there's actually a problem, and how I can get the emails to stop?TIA,ML

Hello,I'm looking for help on Airtable Automations. I'm trying to Find a record to update based on Table:Sessions field matching Table:SignUps field. Both fields are "formula" fields that make a text number because the original Sessions field is a linked record, and the original SignUps field is a Primary Key.I don't know why, but I keep getting the error message below saying, "No valid nested options". It won't let me pick *either* the text field or the original Primary Key for Finding the match, and I have no idea why.I already went through this post explaining how both of the "Find" fields have to be congruent... but as far as I can tell, mine *are* congruent, but I'm still getting the error. How can I get this automation to work?Additional context below. TIA,ML

Hello friends,I am looking for an automation/script that does the following.1. When the field 'Start date' is updated in a record in the table called 'Projects'... I would like...this new 'Start Date' to replace the current date on a field called 'Deadline' in a record which is always called 'Project Start Date' in a linked record field of the triggering record called 'Tasks'.If it helps at all:- the linked record field 'Tasks' is linked to the table called 'Tasks'- The record which I want to change called 'Project Start Date' sits under a field called 'Task', in the 'Tasks' table I have no experience in scripting, Gemini provided me with the following, but it doesn't appear to be workingNote: My trigger is When a record is updated - "Start date" - on the "Projects" table:async function updateLinkedRecordDeadline(record) {const linkedRecords = record.getCellValue('Tasks');// Iterate through each linked recordfor (const linkedRecord of linkedRecords) {if (linkedRecord.getCellV

Hello! one of the recipients of the marketing email unsubscribed by mistake. As i understand the mail was blacklisted in baseNow he wants to restore the subscription   Is it possible to manage in Base or by user   Sincerely, Kirill

Is there a complete list of these options for record "names/terms"?

Is it possible to select a range of records in grid view using the checkboxes and apply a sort to just that range?

I have a Projects grid and a Tasks grid. The Projects grid has fields for Project name, start date, and end date. The Tasks grid has fields for Task name, start date, end date, and reference to the Project name.  For each Project, I would like the start date to be the earliest Task start date among all the Tasks that reference that Project.Similarly, I would like the end date of each Project to be the latest Task end date among all the Tasks that reference that Project. Thank you in advance for any help!!

Hello, I have a question regarding Gmail automations in Airtable.I'm starting a business and am new to the world of marketing. I have extensive experience using Airtable automations, as I've been using it for years for other purposes, but I have many questions about email marketing tools and the limitations related to email contacts, spam, etc.My goal is to collect interested leads through a form. After receiving a form submission, I want to automate sending an email via Gmail with details about the services I offer. I also plan to create follow-up automations to re-engage the lead if they don't convert within 1–2 days of filling out the form.In addition, I want to send other emails periodically to offer new services—but not in bulk on the same day. For example, instead of sending a service offer to everyone in my contact base at once, I’d automate it so that an email is sent only when a lead completes 15 days in the database. In this way, there would never be large-scale email blasts,

Hi guys! I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or something has recently changed? Long story short, I'm not able any longer to nest the records through the interface. Currently, I'm working on the new base and I wanted to nest records to organise them in some logical order. For example, if I look at one of the bases I already created, you can see the option to nest the records. Now, I'd like repeat the same process in another base and the option to nest the records is missing?Any idea if something has changed? Thanks!

In my base, I changed content type to multiple sections from single and now when I try to view the calendar view, "content pieces" it gives me a "Field “Content Type” was changed and can no longer be selected" Any suggestions on how to remedy this? Thank you.https://airtable.com/app6mSqDWyf5cSRa0/shrTfcyaeQloo2QZ8https://airtable.com/app6mSqDWyf5cSRa0/shrKoEdBGyLHbe1wr

I just want to make sure I understand this properly.  I can create a mobile interface list view, but I can only sort by one criteria. I cannot then sort by a second one. For example I have TV shows and I can only sort by show name or episode. Not show name and THEN episode. Am I missing something?  Thanks
