I've created a integration flow for PATCH request in my suite and wanted to test it through POSTMAN by hitting the endpoint of PATCH iflow. I'm using a simple formula to calculate the due date difference between today and the project due date:WORKDAY_DIFF(TODAY(), {Due Date})-1Which works for anything due today and in the future, but does not calculate properly for past due things. If today is 11/19, something due 11/18 should be Past Due by -1, but it shows -3. Given that it works for current/future dates, what am I missing here for the past dates?   

Hi,In our CRM we have several different situations, where reminder mails should start going out to contacts. Many of these are chained so that if the contact doesn't respond (e.g. sign up again after an event they cancelled), there will be reminders 1, 2 and 3 with some days time in between.Originally I created these as separate automations, it was simple and easy to overview. Hello I started exploring using Airtable native AI fields; I would like LLM to read and process an attachment documentin PDF but the relevant field {Attachment} seems not to be available in the prompt design. Is it possible in some ways or do I need to resort to using OpenAI APIs and scripting? Regards and Thanks !

Is there a sequential order when a new record is created through a Form view? Can you define/control the order?

I'm trying to make a small CRM. Two of the main datatypes are Contact and Company. Clients work for Companies. When I get a new lead, I enter the Contact's information. When I do that, I'd also like to be able to create a record for their company if it isn't already in the Company table. So, bottom line, I should be able to either select a company, or type in the company's name and have it create a new record in the Company Table.I've created a simple interface to create a new contact, but as I understand it, interfaces only insert into one table. Is there any way around this? I thought about trying to add an automation, but it seems like the interface templates for adding new rows to a table don't support what I'm trying to do.

Hi everyone! I have a follow up survey that we send to customers via Airtable form. No prefilled info, pretty simple rating, feedback, and customer email to be filled out. Here's the kicker - we got a response back, and the customer entered @gmail.con instead of @gmail.com. The problem is, I have several follow on automations that are dependent on that email field to match it to the original survey request and then update both records accordingly, notify the user, etc. I already have modifiers on my other automations that corrects any caps to all lowercase, trim, etc to ensure the data is clean and matches. I considered using the "length" modifier, but considering I have no way of knowing how long any given customer's email address will be, that's not really an option. Now, I know I COULD just manually correct the email address, but I don't want to do that every time, and that also effectively avoids the trigger for one of my automations, "when form is received" do

I know airtable doesn't have the ability to do this, but I wonder if anyone here has a clever solution.For context, we're a non-profit vege farm. A few of the things we keep records on need many records created at the same time. For example, when I seed trays of 15 different crops in the nursery, or I sow a cover crop into a bed (sometimes 10+ species). Each crop in either of those instances has unique data stored against it - Date, quantity, etc.We need to be able to do this on mobile, as we're in the field, and unfortunately the table view of airtable isn't very easy to do this on mobile. And unfortunately having to submit a form 15 different times is confusing and time consuming. The ideal solution would be a form that could collect all data against each instance, but airtable doesn't allow that.Does anyone have any ideas to help with this workflow? I have seen on2air, but unfortunately as a non-profit, spending more and more $ on record collection is really real

Hi,As the subject line states, I am looking for a function within airtable forms that can allow me to change the available inputs based on the condition of a previous answer.The purpose of this, is to submit an attendance form of such.I am using a table consolidate all of the different departments as an individual record, and within that record, each employee is linked to their respective department.My intent is to use the form to submit a list of attendees, based on which department is involved.For example, I had a meeting today with Marketing, Finance, and Operations.On the form, there will be a linking field, where I input these three departments.Then I have an Attendee field, where I can link the individual attendees, based on the above selected departments.Is this possible? Is there a way around this?

I've been scouring this forum for an answer to a variant of "Convert String to Duration" but alas, no simple answers uncovered!In my case, I have a text field that contains duration as as string such as, "1:30:00."I need this to now be a field that is either a number (1.5), or an actual Duration type field.DATEADD(), DATETIME_PARSE(), DATETIME_FORMAT(), etc. formulas return errors and cannot format this particular representation of time as a string.What incantation of formula language is required for Airtable to do this so I can use this data? I have a weird one: How would I even begin to convert a column that contains duration data formatted as a string like this? I want the final conversion to be a decimal number, but none of the standard DATETIME() type formulas can make sense of it. Help!

In order to keep costs down at our nonprofit, I have it set up so only a few people have paid editing access in Airtable - the rest have read-only access to an interface. They have the ability to create/update/delete individual records with interface buttons that open surveys in Fillout, which is slightly clunky but far better than previous alternatives. I've run into a situation where I'd like to make it easier - our list of contacts. It's huge, and things are constantly out of date, and I am DESPERATE to make sure keeping it updated doesn't become my job. I already have a record review page in the interface so I could add a button to go to survey to update that information, it just feels like there will often be batch updates (everyone at this org got new emails or something) where it would be a lot more convenient to have it feel like a spreadsheet. The more I type, the more I think I should just add an update button here too and it'll be fine, but I'm interested to k

Hi! I'm looking for an alternate way to display records that are grouped by a "multiple select" field.  As an example, I have records of food items and am grouping by the Food Type field with tags Fruits, Veggies, Carbs, Berries, etc. Some records, such as Cherry will be tagged both "Fruits" and "Berries."  As it displays now, Cherry will be grouped in its own area of both Fruits and Berries rather than showing up in the individual Fruits group and the Berries group.  I realize that having Cherry show up in both groups would mean the single record is displayed twice, so perhaps there's an alternate way of grouping records where the group will show all records with a given tag? I'd love to come up with a solution for this, because it gets pretty cumbersome to sift through many annoying "groups" where multiple tags are used. I just want to see ALL the records with that tag, regardless of any other tags those records may have!

For my interface I want a grid view meant for people within my organization with all the fields visible and I want another view of said interface meant for external organizations that only show some of the fields.How do i go about this?

We manage a vehicle fleet and to make it easy for non-technical staff to add vehicles, I have created simplified interface forms with just the necessary fields (and some optional ones). This is great for adding one at a time, however often we will be adding multiple of the same vehicle. being comfortable with large sets of data myself, it's easy enough to just duplicate the record mulitple times in a grid view, however for users not comfortable with a grid view, is there a way for me to add a dropdown or number field or something to my interface form that will create a number of duplicates equal to the number provided in the dropdown/number field? Or is there another simple way to generate duplicate records? Thanks for any help in advance!

Hi! We've created a base with a tab for each project (e.g., Project 1, Project 2, etc.), and within each project, we need to view (in the interface) the payments made, sorted by year. To manage this, we've created a column for each year within the base. However, this setup makes all years visible across all projects, which is not ideal since each project has a different timeline. For example, if Project 1 runs from 2022 to 2025, I would want to see only those years on that project's page, and not years that apply to other projects (like a project spanning 2008 to 2025).In the interfaces, we have different tabs for different projects (e.g., charity projects), but currently, we don't have the option to filter the years so that only relevant years show on each project’s page. Is there a way to display different years per project within the interface, rather than having all the same years appear across all pages?Thank you! 

Hello!I'm looking to have a daily email automation run with a list of Found Records. I'd like the subject line of the email to have the current date. I see that I can add in a List of the Dates for the Found Records, but...it will show the date for EVERY record, rather than just one instance. Is there a way to suppress that to only the first instance of the date so that my subject line doesn't read "Daily Attendance Log DATE DATE DATE"?Thanks in advance for any help! 

Hi there -  I am attempting to track contract breach status (pending, resolved, or n/a) depending on the source of the breach and whether there is a specific response date. My formula will be 5 if statements, of which 4 are also if/and. I've been able to add the first two successfully but when I try to add the third, nothing happens. Any help would be most appreciated! Hello I need to build a form where users create a 'Deals' table record. The description of the form should contain  dates that come from a  record in another table: 'Cohort'. It seems that Fillout pre-fetch is exactly what I need, but it is only available for 79$/mo which seems too much for this form only (and mini-extensions likewise). Is there any another solution? Does scripting have anything to do with Forms? Many Thanks 

Hi all, I have a csv file with a column that contains the name of the project associated with the client. So I have a csv file with 2 columns: customer email, project name. I have to import this file into the customer table on Airtable where the “merge field” is the email and the project name must be inserted in a multiselect field. The problem is that many customers already have projects in their multiselect field and doing this import is all overwritten and only the last imported project remains. So the question is how is it possible to import (add) new values in “multiselect field” without overwriting the already existing values? Thanks so much everyone for the help

Hi there,I need to create 3 forms that are pretty much exactly the same, but the link for each is inserted into a different flyer which is going to three different groups of people - each form is then linked to an automation which will catagorise the respondent for us so we know which form they have filled out. The problem is the 3 forms need to have exactly the same display name, but I want to differentiate them by name in my base view, which I am unable to do at present. Does anyone have a solution?Thanks!

Hi. Thanks in advance for any help.I am importing a  CSV file out of another application that exports a field in a currency format. ($X,XXX.XX). I've created a currency field in Airtable to import it into, but AT always ignores it.So, I ended up exporting to Excel, changing that field to a number without a dollar sign and that allowed me to import it into the AT currency field.  However, I'd like to avoid this step and go directly from the exported CSV into AT without messing with Excel.I assumed this meant that Airtable wasn't recognizing it as a currency or number and wouldn't move it into the currency field. So, I thought I'd create a text field to import it into, then create a formula field to make it what I need it to be, but it won't import it into a text file either.Not sure why this is so difficult for me.  Any ideas welcome. Hello all, I created a form, and one of the field values needs to be "1" as the default value. However, I need that hidden so that when someone goes to submit data, they don't have to fill that field in as "1".Now this is what I have:I tried hiding this field from the form options listed, but when I go to submit this form - it doesn't display a "1" in the field value on the table view. I also tried this method on the table view:When I go to create a record on the table view - it does default the value to "1", but on form submission - it does not. Any idea what it is that I'm doing wrong?Thanks.
