I've used this very helpful page to be able to export my tables out of air table and into Power Query, and from there into Excel: Sending Airtable Data to Microsoft Power BI & Power Query | Airtable SupportHowever, I'm having an issue that some seemingly random columns aren't being picked up by PowerQuery. I've done this with 5 tables, some have worked perfectly, some haven't. The columns that are missing are different types, sometimes check boxes, sometimes free text fields. I can't work out what the pattern might be, and therefore how I might fix it.I'm hoping someone might have come across the same issue in the past, and know exactly what I'm talking about and how to fix it. 

Hi all, We are on the Pro plan, which seems to default duplicated views to personal even if they were originally collaborative. We mainly use Airtable for grid views, though I’m not sure that has anything to do with the issue. I have searched high and low for a setting or option to NOT do this, as we would prefer duplicated collaborative views to stay collaborative, and not have to manually change it each time. Any ideas?

Hi, I'm simply trying to subtract hours in one field from hours in another. I have a column with 'hours recorded' and one with 'hours billed'. They are both formatted as time units (hours). I just want to subtract one from the other in a new field. As an additional question is there a way to set the hour units to just hours, with no minutes, at the moment it's h:mm and I need to enter a 0 for minutes each time Thanks   

I'm trying to connect MS Power Automate to Airtable. A lot of info seems to be stale out there. I have this flow, which parses data. I found this step HTTP Webhook. I'm hoping to make this a trigger for an Airtable automation. However, when I run the flow, it gives me a bad request error at this step.Does anyone know if this is possible to set up like this?  

I'm trying to build an automation that uses a custom script to determine whether all necessary leads have been assigned to a record within the base. The teamsNeeded field (multiple select field type) determines the teams that need leads on the record. Each team then has a lead field (single select field type) where the lead is selected. If "Comms" and "KM" are selected in the teamsNeeded field then the "Comms Lead" and "KM Lead" field need to have a selection/not be empty.I have limited scripting experience but have been able to build the one below. The issue is that it is outputting 'All Leads Assigned' even when leads are missing. The console log for teamsNeeded shows that all teams are being captured - the log for the example with "Comms" and "KM" in the teamsNeeded field reads "teamsNeeded (2) ["Comms", "KM"].Is there something I am missing that is causing the output to always be 'All Leads Assigned' instead of 'Leads Missing' when leads are missing?  // Get values from t

Basically, I'm wondering how to change the fields shown in a linked record field dropdown/select menu.These fields below (Record ID, First, Middle) do little to help me distinguish among similar records.Note that this particular screenshot is of a linked field to a table that is synced in from another base. But my question stands generally, whether for a table«»table link or for a table«»synced table link—what's the best way to choose my own fields to display, if it's possible at all? 

Our company has an inventory of office supplies, which we track in a table called 'Inventory'. This has fields for item description, photo, quantity available, location, etc.We want to create a system to create "checkout orders" and select multiple items, similar to a shopping cart. We want to do this through interface pages.I know I'll need 2 other tables: 'Orders' (overall requests) and 'Order Items' (items requested in order).The question is how to create an interactive workflow to place items into your order.I'd like to have a List or Gallery starting page, which displays all the items in stock. I'd like to do something like a checkbox or button to add items to my order. (I imagine you'll need to create a new order first.)However, if I just make checkbox field on the 'Inventory' table (the master list), this is seen by all users - which prevents 2 users from "shopping" at once.Does anyone have a suggestion for making a good experience? Hi all - I'm having a very strange issue with a Formula field. I've got a Status field (single select) that informs a Formula field. i.e. if the Status field says ABC, then make the Formula field say XYZ. It's working perfectly except for two outputs. Now here's where it gets weird: after extensive testing, the issue seems to be with the output string, not the input. If the Status is Booking Received, the Formula field should return "Booking received, waiting for pickup confirmation" but it returns a blank field. I also can't get it to return any results when I change the formula to return my name, the word Test, or gibberish lettering. But when I type one of the other results that is working for another status, it works! Meaning if I type "Decline" in to the formula in place of "Booking received, waiting for pickup" it returns Declined. So weird, right?? Why will it only return certain other existing outputs?The same thing is happening for the "On hold" result. It will not r

Hello, I would like someone to help me. I have a date field that I want to change the format of in order to include it in an automation that sends an email informing about the appointment date. To format the date that appears in the email, I created a formula field and an automation so that the date (which is of the "date" field type) is converted into a more user-friendly format. However, when I link the email content with the formula field, it’s not retrieving the date. So, I created a new automation to transfer this date to a text field, but when I do that, the text field throws an error. I am attaching screenshots of everything. 

Hi All!Looking for a quick gut check on a build method...record templates vs task template table.Path 1I've built out the base this way task template (table C) and have it all structured,  tasks (table B), and a project (table A). So when a form is submitted it creating a record on (table A) an automation is triggered that reads the project type then finds the related tasks (table C) creates copies of them on (table B) and then links them to the project. This happens for each project created. Path 2I've built the same idea using the record template feature so when automation form is submitted to (table A) the automation is fired that looks to see what program type it is and then updates the record using a record template of the same name and adds new tasks to (table B) linked to the project. There's obviously a lift on the system to run the automation and do all the steps/complex logic work in the first version and an extra table that is not needed in the 2nd. My base has a field formatted for URLs. When I use automation to send the URL for a given record, how do I make that reference a clickable link in the email? It looks like I should be able to do that with Markdown, but I haven’t figured out the details. Thanks in advance!

I've been working with scripts and have been loving it.  I know the answer to this is probably no, and would be nice to have, but not a huge thing but....Is it possible to have a some common functions that I write shared across other scripts I use in my base?  I can continue to just copy/paste them in the scripts I need.   I know it goes against the ethos of low-code, I just have a few I use a lot.

Hi,Is there ways to (i) force an email address collected through a Airtable form and to (ii) convert an email address coming in from an external system to lower case?We use Airtable as a CRM/ERP system, hence we register contacts and events for those contacts (for the purpose of this question). The first touch point is an Airtable form, after which the contact is directed to a Calendly event. The one piece of information connecting these inside Airtable (and a basis for a lot of automations) is the contact's email address.Yesterday I debugged an automation, and realised it had not found the right contact due to a capital case beginning of the email in the contact's data. Had not thought about these (naturally) being case sensitive.I see that one can user lower() in formulas, but would not want to use several "parallell" fields/columns for this. I tried to use lower() to encapsulate the data field in the automation, but that didn't seem to work.Suggestions how to do this?Rgds,Björn

TLDR: Can you have an automation trigger that is a scheduled date be changed by data in a record?I was telling a friend about airtable and she asked me how hard it would be to have a notification email go out based on data in her record(s).  She was thinking about using airtable to define different appliances and systems in her airbnb's, and wanted to define data for an HVAC system (there may be several) that has air filters (of which one system may have 1 or more) and have the reminder be sent after say, 3 months.  If she doesn't get around to changing it until month 4, she wants to have the form allow her to say "yes, changed on this date, remind me again in another 3 months" Of course, that's the human talk description, I know it would actually be checkboxes and dropdowns.  She may change one sooner if she had lots of clients, but she doesn't want the notification "every 3 months", but rather, every 3 months after her last change.

Hi guys!!!I´m trying to set up an automation which could find some records under determined circunstances. Then update a couple of fields and finaly open an Airtable URL which is contained on a field and is different for each record. Everything works quite good, except que the URL openenig which i have no idea how to make it happen. I guess it would be through a script, and should be so complicatyed, but i have no idea how to start. Thank you in advance for your time.

I have a database where the first table is the registrations, then I have four more tables with their own forms. I want people that registered in the first one, to find their name in the other forms instead of filling it out again. So what I need is for the the name of the records from the first table (registration), to automatically populate a dropdown menu in the other four forms. Do you know an automation to do that?

I'm trying to script a POST request to the Covve API to parse business cards. Their technical support says "the API does not support passing the file via URL. I'm trying to use ChatGPT to analyze written data from airtable surveys, but ChatGPT is unable to access the information from a csv file. Is it possible to connect ChatGPT to Airtable in order to give it access to specific tables? The idea would be to be able to ask ChatGPT questions such as "What are the top 3 things guests enjoy about this trip?" based on the survey responses.

When a form is submitted it shows the GMT date & time however when an automation email is sent it sent as UTC. Can someone please help me fix this.Thank you.
