Been a long time since I've used Air Table. Having trouble recalling how Linked Tables work.I have two tables, one Table is a list of all checks with primary field being a check number. This is a list of EVERY check related to a bank account.I have another table, that has a smaller subgroup of the first table. These are checks that were entered into our accounting system.  The primary field for this table is also check number.What I need to do, is take the larger group and check to see if the record is in the smaller subgroup, and flag it.  Thus I will develop a list of all checks in Table 1 that are not in Table 2.So essentially, Take each check in Table one, look in table 2 and if that check number is there, flag it.This way I can create a list of checks I need to add to my accounting program.I am a bit embarassed as about 5 years ago I had a grip on all of this, but at my age I essentially have to relearn everything after that period of time.I appreciate all help.  Th

Currently Airtable limits the a maximum of 20 google calendars to be added to a base. I am in need of adding more than 20 google calendars. In fact searching for a solution where there is no limit to add google calendars to a base in Airtable. Is there a workaround for this? 

I am struggling with the proper set up for my base.I am a manager of an HOA, and we are in the process of tracking all construction projects in Airtable. Applications are submitted via form and records are created automatically upon submission.Where I'm stuck is how to track the progress of these projects. Each have a Phase, and each phase has critical tasks that need to be completed before we can approve advancing to the next phase. Ideally, once all tasks are completed for a phase, the record would be updated with the next phase (with corresponding subtasks), and so on until project completion. A check list with conditions, so to speak.I have tried various templates, but none behave in a way where I can monitor and update records according to project completeness. Appreciate any insight on how to best tackle this.

Hey everyone,I need to find a way to list all the values from one column if those values meet certain conditions. Right now, I'm struggling to even find a way to summarise all entries from one column. The values in the column are email addresses, and the conditions are chosen by a single-select field.Just to clarify: I don't want to have one value/email address per line/record; I want to have all email addresses listed if they meet certain conditions.Example: I have a table with multiple records where I have listed all my customers. One of the columns in this table is an email address field with the customers' email addresses. There is another column—a single-select field—where you can select the status of that customer, for example, Status 1, 2, or 3. Now, I would like to have all email addresses from that table summarised in one field and separated with a comma, if the selected customer status is 1 or 2.I'm grateful for any hints I can get. ❤️

Hi Airtable Community, I have the following problem. I have a table with tasks and a table with projects.If a task is delayed by x days, I want to display a timing risk in the project. The tasks are linked to the project. However, the tasks are repeated for each project. Therefore, they always have the same names and are not unique. If a task is now delayed, the automation cannot know which project the task belongs to. Do I really have to assign each task a unique name or can I use the record ID somehow?Thank you and bestMirko 

Is there a UI to build a formula and get the resulting formula? The formula builder for creating views is useful, but I can't seem to find a way to get the formula out of it.Context: I'm trying to build a formula that filters records by 2 fields, an email field and a date field. What I have so far is: `AND({Notary 1 email (email)} = '${email}', IS_AFTER({Appt Date/Time (date)}, TODAY())` but the Airtable API request fails with a cryptic error: "The formula for filtering records is invalid: Invalid formula. Please check your formula text."

Hi. I'm working on creating an AirTable base with complaints. The form is made with Fillout.I wanted to know if it's possible to restrict access to a record if the user selects a certain option in a single select field. We'll have several people having access to the base and I wonder if I can hide certain records for an user A when a single select field has a specific option chosen.Thank you.

I have two tables I want to update when adding a new productTable A - Inventory Table B - Received ( Products received )Table C - New Item Table : Junction Table I have created a junction table so I can multiple "New" products quickly and that do not exist in Inventory.So in the automation I am doing the following 1. Hi everyone !I've encountered difficulties in validating the search for an ID. I believe there must be an error in my formula because, after integrating logs to ensure that I was correctly comparing the searched ID with the ID present in the table and the relevant column, I noticed that we have a match, but the formula generates a 'false' instead of a 'true'. Does anyone see my mistake?Thank you

Can the buttonAsync be created dynamically? I have an array of Order Numbers called filteredOrderNames. Interface designer says "nothing is published" and does not give any action to continue on interface design. It only displays the error message. 

Hello! I have the below table that list Rooms with the associated Furniture and Accessories that belong in them. I would like to be able to filter on a field in a separate table for Client ID. The thing is because I’m keeping track of Rooms over time for each client, multiple Client ID names display when I link the below table to the other table for Client ID. I tried to filter on 1 particular client’s name for Client ID, I could also see the other clients that have used the same type of furniture pieces. I only want to see information for 1 person. I hope this makes sense. Is there a way to make this happen?

HI, I want to be able to select multiple records in a base and update a field in all selected records. I’m thinking this will probably need a script where I can enter a value and then push a button to update all selected records with that value. Has anyone done this or have an idea to get me started please? Thanks

Hello, I have been invited as an editor of another user's database. I pay for the team plan, and the other user does as well. However, the creator of the database is being charged for having me as an editor. Is this correct? If I already pay for the team plan, why does he have to pay for giving me permission to be an editor in his database?

I can't believe a very simple feature in excel/google sheets is missing here in formulas when it comes to subtracting two numbers and if it's negative - show the number in one color, and if it's positive - show the number in another color so I have a pretty simple setupField 1:  Cal+/-Formula is: 2300 - Cal   results will be a number Less than 0, 0 or greater Formula is:  If({Cal+/-} < 0, ??, ??)What do I use in the ?? to show less than 0 in red  or 0, greater than 0 in green

Hola AirtableforceoneFirstly, if anyone wants to know how to extract helpscout images from threads and then send them to dropbox and then over to Airtable .  will share that here. Thats 8 hours of my life gone but it's easy now Iknow.BUT - one last question. Right at the very end. How do I fix this?I have Make/Integromat adding an image to an airtable row by providing a URL (Ps, I made a public one of course, used drop box yadayada).But when I upload the image, it deletes all the images in that row rather than just adding another. Cant find any switches of settings for it. Any ideas? Seriously, Make is so far more detailed than Zapier but this last piece is a killer.

 I have a database with 3 tables - clients, line items, Invoices.I would like to have a form where a client can add line items and then at the end of each month an invoice for each client would be created (if possible automatically add a record to the invoice table) including a rollup of only the items that were added that month and for that client.I haven't found a way of doing this so any suggestions would be much appreciated! 

Hello, I am trying to take one column with a day/hour field (Start Date) and use a Single-Select (Time zone) to create an updated day/hour column. Currently, I use New York time on all the other dates but I need to be able to see a different version of the time in cases when I am collaborating with people internationally. Time zones would be ‘Africa/Laos’,‘Africa/Maputo’,‘Africa/Nairobi’ etc. Any help would be much appreciated! Edit: I have looked at this sample base and get what it’s trying to do, but I don’t know how to alter it for my purpose.

I am trying to set a simple automation but for some reason It does not work and I cannot make anything out of what the error is giving by Airtable: Updating the record failed.For more context, I have a formula field that is concatenate from multiple text fields and I want to have a multi-select field that is pasted from the aforemention formula field. The purpose of this is to have tags type as well as remove the duplicated tags.Let me know if you have any suggestion. Thanks!

Wonder if anyone has something that works for this... I'm creating discrete events in a base, and I want to automate the process of turning the data points into a .ics file and attaching it to the record in an attachment field. It's a bit like this walkthrough  but instead of using Make to attach the .ics into an email, I want to return the file to the Airtable record's attachment field. Then anyone who has access to the record can download and save the calendar entry to their own calendar. Per that walkthrough I was trying to get Make.com to do this but I keep running into Bundle Validation Errors, and I'm wondering if there's a way for Airtable to handle this inside the base via scripting. 

Hello again! I am trying to create an email report where I use the automation flow below: At a certain time > Find Records > Outlook: Send Email I’m using the “Find Records” action to search for where a checkbox is flagged, then using those records to input a grid or a list into the email. The issue is that I can’t reorder the fields or sort the list/grid it creates. Is there either, another way to do this WITHOUT A THIRD PARTY APP, or is there something I’m missing that allows you to sort records/reorder fields?
