I have a date+time and a duration (days: hours: minutes). I want to add a day:hour:minute duration to the date+time and output a new date+time. Issues I've encountered:1. I can only set a duration field to be day OR hours/minutes/seconds. 2. When attempting to create a formula to add a "Day" duration field to a "Hour" duration field the output is incorrect. For example I have a Day Duration field with "1" and in the Hour duration field I have 00:05. I triedDATEADD({Next Output Days},{Next Output HH:SS},'seconds')   Results in #ERROR!SUM({Next Output Days}+{Next Output HH:SS})   Results in 301?I'd be fine with a result of the total seconds of the day + hours/minutes to use for my final formula but I can't seem to combine the day duration field and the hour/minute duration field into anything useable. I just want to recreate the function of this form under "Add or subtract time from a date" https://www.calculator.

When applying this formula "{Pago a realizar}-{Pago efectuado}"  to the selected fields, as you can see in the 4 file, the result is not 0 but 1. How could I fix this error?

I have an Interface Detail Page that has a list of records.When i open a record it shows me a sort of modal column on the right and the url changes but it doesn't show an ID. Hello,I have three columns with multiple select options: Lecture (Mandatory), Lecture (Required), and Lecture (Optional). I am building a table that creates a record for monthly billing. The billing happens on the same day each month. I have a Date Paid field and a Next Date Paid formula field, and an automation that triggers after the bill gets paid to create a new record with the Next Date Paid from the old record populating into the Date Paid field of the new record.The problem I'm having is with the DateAdd() function. My current formula is: DATEADD({Date Paid},1,'month')  I thought this would just add one to the month, but it actually just adds 30 days which means that my dates won't match up. I tried adding a field with a static number(MonthDay Paid) and doing something like: DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Date Paid},1,'month'),'M/{MonthDay Paid}/YY')  but the dynamic slug breaks the DateTime Format function and returns "8/{8thnt121amy Pami4}/24". I'm trying to automate this as much as possible so that the user doesn't need to really access the data layer much, so a

My team has several hundred user profiles with personal information stored in a database with no API. We keep the personal info there, but we have an SFTP to upload CSVs for information regarding statuses and due dates on various per-profile tasks. Those CSVs land in Airtable, where I'm working to create interfaces that are a lot more user friendly than the database. The really unfortunate thing is, I need a way to track any status or date changes we make in Airtable in order for teammates to manually update that data in the database. At any one time, there will be three "truths": what the old upload previously said, what the teammate has changed it to, and what the new upload says. (I should note, the new upload will probably overwrite the old upload? I'm not sure, I haven't set it up yet as I'm designing the base with fake data.)I can't wrap my head around the best way to do this. I could:1. Hello,I am trying to set up an automation that sends an email when a record is updated, but only if it is updated via our Mini Extensions add on.We ask people to submit via an Airtable form with information that is TBC, and when the record is created, we can ask people to update anything via Mini Extensions so that they don't have to log in or have an Airtable account.It would be great to know when someone has updated the record through the Mini Extensions form, as currently I can only set up an automation when a record is changed at all - this would be inappropriate as we are updating the records ourselves all the time.The condition options in automations for 'send an email > when a record is updated > if conditions are met' do not have the condition I am hoping for; any advice appreciated.Cheers

Hello. I am trying to send Gmail attachments I receive automatically to an attachments column in Airtable. I finally realized that Airtable wants the URL in array form, which I can do. However, I have not figured out how to use the array functions toArray, map, or add to append the files instead of overwriting and keeping the last one. I have searched and read numerous posts in both the Make and Airtable communities. This is my most recent attempt at make.com.My ultimate goal is to allow students to email their attachments and have them appear in the portal I built with Softr.I feel like I am so close. i have a button field that run a script, i need to get tha field id(recordId) after press the button in the script, in some examples they recommend to use recordAsync(), but i have to chose the record, and i need to get it after press the button

My workflow is based on priority levels, so I'm trying to create a "Due date" field based on the last time a record was updated. What am I doing wrong is there a better way to create this date? 

I've created on a base a table template with several formulas that I'd like to duplicated for the various projets that I managed but when I try to copy / sync  the table to another base, all my formulas are not transfered and the columns with the Formula Field Type are changed to a Number Field type.Is there an automatic way to copy the formulas or do I have to manually copy/paste them on each new base ? I've left some some images for reference, as you can see the field type is completely different and dont include my formulas.Thanks,

In actual databases, I can explicitly define which table holds the linked column, e.g., Table A has a foreign key field to Table B. So, if I look directly at Table B by itself, I wouldn't know that it has a relationship with Table A. But that's okay, because Table B isn't supposed to hold that information itself.But in Airtable, I noticed that when I put a linked field in Table A to Table B, instantly that field also appears in Table B. While that's very useful and helpful to understand the bigger picture of how things are interconnected, now I no longer know which table was the original one that established that relationship.The purpose that I need to know this is to transform an Airtable base into an SQL database schema, so I need to know the "native" fields of each table. Any tips, or anything I missed?

Hi everyone! I'm working on a project to track and monitor my Airtable automations. I want to create a base that will automatically populate with all my existing automations and update every time an automation runs. This way, I can easily view the run history of all my automations in one place, without having to check each one individually. Is it possible to connect automations to a base and track their run count automatically? The objective of the code is to select the options that are in the array for a multiple select field. I don't understand why it never allows adding options even if they are exactly the same as those in the table. It is an automation script. Hello, I'm using the duration field to track recorded audio sessions that vary in length. Currently have it formatted as (HH:MM:SS) to account for sessions that are both multiple hours long and less than an hour long. When I have sessions that are less than an hour long, Airtable won't display a zero value in the hour slot. Ex: a session is 30 minutes and 6 seconds, but Airtable displays it as 30:06. This makes it appear as if the session is 30 hours and 6 minutes long. I would prefer it to display as 00:30:06 for clarity. Does anyone know how I can get the field to display zero values? 

I teaching myself automations and have a requirement I cannot figure out how to get to work. Love ideas.I need to set up a daily automation that looks at all of the records in a certain table and if any record has yesterday's date, send a single email to the recipient that includes a link to a view to look at the data. So the logic would be something like in table X, count number of records where payment date = yesterday. If count > 0, send an email with a link to a view that shows all the records with payment date = yesterday.Thank you!!!

I am syncing my Google Calendar with airtable - one way: I'm adding the bookings on Google Calendar and they display on my airtable calender view. Today, none of my bookings after tomorrow is showing on my Airtable. Is there something wrong? 

I'm creating a script to compare two rollup fields and add the values both share into a third column. The fields roll up linked record fields and return them as just the text in a comma-separated list. Airtable documentation says rollup fields are an array; it looks like this is technically true, but it seems to be an array of a single string. When I log.console the cell value (note, I'm using getCellValue, not getCellValueAsString), I get ["Category 1, Category 2, Category 3"]. I want to get an array of multiple strings: ["Category 1", "Category 2", "Category 3"]. I'm very new to Airtable, so before I try to figure out ways within my script to separate the one string using the commas and all that, I want to make ask:1. Is this single string output the expected behavior, or is my script calling it incorrectly?2. If it's normal, is there way to configure the rollup fields to instead keep them as separate items?

I found a great Airtable template but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get that template into my existing base. I get it that I can sync and then remove the sync, but the reason the template is so cool is because of the multiple tables, views and interfaces.Am I right that I would have to sync each table in the template to my base and then edit to get all of the configurations, like views and interfaces?I also understand that I can make a copy of the template and sync my existing tables to this new base and then delete the old one, but this means that all of the links I've shared out will no longer work, which leads to frustration and less uptake of the toolIf I understand this right, templates are designed only for when you're starting a brand new base and not good for adding to existing bases. Is this correct? I feel like I'm missing something! ETA: I see this feedback from 2017 but I'm only the 3rd person to upvote it in 7 years. Is this really not possibl

Hi allI have an Orders Table and an Order Line Items table.I have a Date Required field within the Orders Table which is linked to my Order Line Items table.I want to have an Updated ETD (estimated time of departure) field against each line item so it is separate from affecting the overall order ETD (i.e. each line item with one order can have a different ETD).Ideally I want to just show the format as mmm-yy (i.e. July-24)Any ideas on automating this so that the Updated ETD takes the Date Required data but can be editable? Thanks!

I have two numerical values, A and B, that I am using to create a range field. Here is my current formula:CONCATENATE({A}, "-", {B}). So far so good. The tricky part is that not all of the entries have a B value, in which cases the result will look like {A}-. Ideally I would like it to just return the single value from A without the hyphen in this scenario. I have tried using an IF to say IF(BLANK({B})) but here is where I get lost.  Any advice is appreciated! I am very new to formulas... 

Hi AllMy apologies if this is too simplistic - I’ve only got six months or so experience with Airtable…I suspect use case doesn’t matter here, since my “issue” is at the record and field level. Here is the scenario:- a form with some fields pre-filled is sent to a Client for additions and updates, is submitted by them, and creates a new record in an UPDATE table, separate from the main, “real” table; Clients often have no regard for “garbage in, garbage out”…- a manual review of the two tables “side-by-side” is performed to make sure data in each field is the type of data expected - both in text and attachment fields- an automation does an “Update Record” on the main table, using the data from the UPDATES table record, hence moving the new data to the Client's existing record in the main tableThe result is that blank fields in the UPDATE table overwrite existing data in the main table.
