Hi there!Quick question: If a recipient of an automated email from Airtable (sent by Airtable mail server) clicks on the "unsubscribe" link, will his/her email address be "blacklisted" for all automated emails from that Airtable base or is this specific to the automation which has executed the "send email" step?Cheers!

Hi all,I am trying to add info from a linked table (one to many relation) in the body of an e-mail in an automated action.This is my setup:TableA with Fields Name, Age, Status, Email, ...TableB is a collection of dates on which the person in TableA is expected. Fields: Name (from Table A), date, type of meeting)One record in tableA can have multiple lines in TableB.Now I want to be able to send an automated mail that contains the info from TableB (date and linked type of meeting).Is this somehow possible? Is it possible to link multiple filters to a single grid in an Interface? I have a base with 11 tables; 1 primary table and 10 support tables. In my primary table, I have 31 fields, 10 of which are linked records. I would like to create an interface for my client that will allow for as simple or as complex a query as needed. To explain further:My primary table is a plant directory. I would like my client to be able to choose a simple query, such as:All plants that are Red. I would also like my client to be able to choose a complex query, such as:All plants that are Red or Orange, Low Maintenance, requires Full Sun, is Fragrant and is Deer Tolerant.Is there a way in Airtable to be able to accomplish this?Thank you in advance, Mr. Brad B.

I already have an automation using a webhook, that when I add a new record in a certain table, a sign request is created and sent to the relevant email address. What I need to do now is after the document is signed by the recipients, save it as an attachment on the same record.Any idea how it can be done?

I could use some help correctly setting up a multiple select field that monitors changes in other fields. For context, this'll be setup for internal use mostly for billing purposes. Once the tagged change(s) in the multiple select field have been resolved, they'll be manually cleared. Scenario: I have a multiple select field called Changelog that monitors changes in other fields in the same table- Contribution Status, Contribution Amount, and Current Donation. Any change in a record associated in a specified group should have their respected outputs reflected in the Changelog field. Issue: I want the Changelog field to populate any and all changes. Sometimes the output looks accurate, other times it does not. In the example screenshots, I changed a record's Contribution Status which resulted in changes to both the Contribution Status and Contribution Amount- correctly reflected in the changelog. I am building a base to control the orders of my market. In there, I want to "Add a new order" and select the products of the order, while choosing their quantities. Is that possible? Also, I want to calculate the order value with the quantities of each product.

When creating a form, we can limit the options the submitters can select. Is there a way to do a similar set up at the user level?I was thinking maybe, at the interface level, we'd be able to limit the selection of a single select field. But that doesn't seem to be an option. Maybe there's another way to do this? Here's my scenario:I have a dropdown that my users can edit, but I don't want to give them all the options. Maybe I split the options and connect them with formulas?I have an Inventory Table with a drop-down where users can change the status. I am using LIST records API to retrieve data from the table.I am needing to get all the records every time. This is acceptable, but no ideal.My client's table has no field that mark when a row is created or edited/updated. Does this of function already exist? I have a simple automation set up to send an email when a record is updated. The email includes a link to a Google doc for that particular record. The automation works most of the time, but I've run into situations where the URL for the Google Doc in Airtable gets modified when it comes through in email. For some reason, the underscores in the link get removed. See arrows in attached screenshot. The top URL is the correct one in Airtable, the bottom URL is what comes through in the email. I have other records in Airtable that also have underscores in the google doc URL and those comes through fine. It just seems to be random docs that this is happening with.Any ideas how to fix? 

 How can I make it 2024-08-31 6:30 PM PDT like how the record is in my airtable base? I don't want that T or Z at the end and the seconds and the decimal to be shown either.

I have a base where I have separated expenses into a few different tables. I did that to make it a little clearer for me as it became so cluttered. But now it’s hard to add up the prices and compare. How do I create a dashboard that truly just takes the sum of one column from each table that I have? For ex: I have a table for health insurance, car matinence & lease payments. How would I create a dashboard like summary where I can display the total sum of each of these? So it would look like: I tried linking, rollup and lookup but just can’t figure it out. I have used airspace for a long time, but only for simple data entry. I do not have pro.

Summary People sometimes ask whether it’s possible to use an Airtable form to edit an existing record. Technically the answer is “no” because Airtable forms always create new records. However, a base can be set up so that records created by a form end up affecting records in another “mirror" table. As with my first show-and-tell submission, this was inspired by a solution that I created in another thread. Long story short, the key to that solution was using two tables: one for collecting form data, and another that looks up that form data and fills out a parallel set of fields. Extending that to allow data from subsequent form-generated records to effectively replace older data in the “mirror” table only took a few more steps. Hi folks. I’m trying to create a way to allow a member of our team to edit a shared view, and I’ve reached a snag. Here’s what I’ve done so far: Created a synced table in a new database using the data from the shared view Added 3 new columns in the new table for adding information to individual records Created an automation in the new table that makes a new row in a google sheet every time a particular column meets a condition All that works. And here’s where I’m snagged: Creating an automation in the original database that updates the changed record whenever a new row is added to the google sheet - BUT: When I use the Record ID from the new synced table, it doesn’t match the Record ID of the original table, so I get a “record doesn’t exist” error When I use one of the other field values from the new google sheet row to identify the record, I get an “Received invalid inputs” error. SO - how do I get the original base to recognize the equivalent record in the synced base? What’s t

I have a CRM database with a table called Companies. These Companies have columns that are linked to different tables called Country and Sector. I would like to create a new table, a Market Matrix of sorts, that automatically rolls up the companies in Country A + Sector B, which would also include notes and different properties on the country/sector in question. I have a date+time and a duration (days: hours: minutes). I want to add a day:hour:minute duration to the date+time and output a new date+time. Issues I've encountered:1. I can only set a duration field to be day OR hours/minutes/seconds. 2. When attempting to create a formula to add a "Day" duration field to a "Hour" duration field the output is incorrect. For example I have a Day Duration field with "1" and in the Hour duration field I have 00:05. I have an Interface Detail Page that has a list of records.When i open a record it shows me a sort of modal column on the right and the url changes but it doesn't show an ID. I am building a table that creates a record for monthly billing. The billing happens on the same day each month. I have a Date Paid field and a Next Date Paid formula field, and an automation that triggers after the bill gets paid to create a new record with the Next Date Paid from the old record populating into the Date Paid field of the new record.The problem I'm having is with the DateAdd() function. My current formula is: DATEADD({Date Paid},1,'month')  I thought this would just add one to the month, but it actually just adds 30 days which means that my dates won't match up. I tried adding a field with a static number(MonthDay Paid) and doing something like: DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Date Paid},1,'month'),'M/{MonthDay Paid}/YY')  but the dynamic slug breaks the DateTime Format function and returns "8/{8thnt121amy Pami4}/24". I'm trying to automate this as much as possible so that the user doesn't need to really access the data layer much, so a

My team has several hundred user profiles with personal information stored in a database with no API. We keep the personal info there, but we have an SFTP to upload CSVs for information regarding statuses and due dates on various per-profile tasks. Those CSVs land in Airtable, where I'm working to create interfaces that are a lot more user friendly than the database. The really unfortunate thing is, I need a way to track any status or date changes we make in Airtable in order for teammates to manually update that data in the database. At any one time, there will be three "truths": what the old upload previously said, what the teammate has changed it to, and what the new upload says. (I should note, the new upload will probably overwrite the old upload? Hello,I am trying to set up an automation that sends an email when a record is updated, but only if it is updated via our Mini Extensions add on.We ask people to submit via an Airtable form with information that is TBC, and when the record is created, we can ask people to update anything via Mini Extensions so that they don't have to log in or have an Airtable account.It would be great to know when someone has updated the record through the Mini Extensions form, as currently I can only set up an automation when a record is changed at all - this would be inappropriate as we are updating the records ourselves all the time.The condition options in automations for 'send an email > when a record is updated > if conditions are met' do not have the condition I am hoping for; any advice appreciated.Cheers
