I built a small site using Softr + Airtable (Free plan, working as a data sourcing). My site reaches Airtable API calls litmit very soon every month. Just a few days, the limit of 1000 calls has run out. I don’t think there are so many visitors to my site. I want to know whether one API call is counted when one visit to my site? My site is https://www.petfairsea.com/ can anyone help point out the reason of this issue. If there are really so many visitors, I’d have to upgrade to team plan. Thank you in advance. 

I’ve seen similar questions asked, but I can’t quite find the solution I’m looking for.I manage a fairly large (~2000 item) equipment inventory. I have a system to check items in and out to different people, projects and locations. Basically, I have a table of inventory items, and a table of in/out transactions that links to the inventory table and includes quantity checked out, destination, program, etc. I also have a form for various users in the company to create a transaction record, and dynamic fields in the inventory table to keep track of how much inventory is available, and how much is checked out and to whom. I have an automation that copies fields from one table to another once the checkbox is selected. One of the field is “Marketing, Communications & PR”. When the automation runs, it splits it into two items “Marketing”, “Communications & PR”. I want to have it as one sector when it is copied to the 2nd table. I tried some of the ideas mentioned previously but got confused. I can try “Marketing Communications & PR” which might solve the problem but don’t like it.Is it possible to solve this issue? Thanks a lot.

I’m designing a system for a client who produces enviromental survey reports They currently use Word, but non-technical staff keep breaking formatting and formulas. Good day.I was tasked to give the following:“Ideally I would like to see the top 15 and the bottom 15 courses delivered per year. So maybe all courses that have a number of time delivered and then a section with all the courses that had no delivery in 2025.” Below, I’ve grouped a grid element by first the year, and the times a course delivered, to at least sort it out.  How, would you all suggest a “pretty” way of achieving the request? 

I’m building an integration that needs to sync ~6,600 records from an external API to Airtable, ideally in under 1 minute.Currently I’m hitting the standard REST API limits (10 records/request, 5 requests/second = ~2-3 minutes minimum, but in practice it’s taking 10-13 minutes due to network latency).I’ve looked into: ∙ Sync API (CSV) - but the table becomes read-only, and I’m seeing significant processing delays after the request completes ∙ REST API with performUpsert - works but slow at scaleHas anyone found a faster approach to bulk insert/update thousands of records? Hi, I used to be able to download CSV files, but without changing anything, I can’t do it anymore.When I select “Download CSV”, I don’t have the option to name the CSV and that made me choose the file where to save it.I tried with different browsers, private windows, different laptops, cleaning the cache and cookies. I'm not sure what to do. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

Hi everyone,I am using Airtable to manage our Recruitment process, and I need some advice on how to handle user permissions and data privacy.I have two specific challenges I'm trying to solve: Field-Level Security: I have a "Salary" column in my base that is highly confidential. I want to ensure that certain team members cannot see this specific field. Historical Data Restriction: When a new staff member joins the team, I want them to only be able to view records created from their start date onwards. While researching, I noticed that there are several ways to integrate this data.For example, one could use “bridge” solutions like OneDrive or SharePoint, or connect directly to Airtable via its API.I was able to connect directly using the API (after creating a Personal Access Token), performing a blank query and using an M script to retrieve over 20,000 records. Hello, We have went over the automations rate for airtable on business plan 100k. However, there appears no easy way to upgrade and a base that runs an app stuck with no ability to resolve. We’ve sent support email but no response yet.  Any solutions or way to get in touch with airtable so we can resolve this issue. This is costing us big. No response from their sales form either yet.    

I have three Tables. - Commit Items, Invoice Header, and Invoice Detail. Lets assume that For Commit No ACB001 there are 4 Records in Commit Items Table with many records for other Commit Nos.. When the invoice is received for Commit No ABC001 and entered on Invoice Header table with Invoice No and Commit No ABC001, I would like automation to grab four records from Commit Items table and create those 4 records + Invoice number in Invoice Detail table. How do I achieve this? Just a reminder, I am new to AirTable.

Is there any word on a feature to allow users to change the day of the week that you use for the first day of the week? I know a lot of US calendars will use Sunday for some reason, but I don’t actually know any businesses that run on a Sunday start. I’ve always used a Monday start to the week. And I’m pretty sure most of the rest of the world uses Monday to start the week.I noticed people have been asking this for almost 8 years according to the help center. And it seems like the easiest change.People were trying to suggest that we change our browser settings to some part of the world that does Monday start, and others were reporting that that doesn’t actually change the user experience. I’m tentatively looking for a freelancer to help another department in my business get their Airtable database off the ground - Creative team to manage projects.This is a fairly simple, and short, job that I’d do myself but simply lack the time, and the department has no capacity themselves to be trained up to do the work themselves, so this is very much a capacity issue. Interest?

For context - I’m a literary agent and I’m trying to create a way to have a ‘live’ brochure of clients who are available for writer for hire gigs that I can share with editors. I’ve created a form which the clients can use to add and edit their details whenever they want and at the moment I have this set up to feed to a gallery interface just through the airtable interface section. It works reasonably well, but the long text field doesn’t seem to have a space big enough assigned to it in the display so a lot of the text is being cut off and I don’t want editors to be able to open the record because there’s other information there that I don’t want them to see. It’s also cutting off if the authors select more than 4 genres which is a bit frustrating.  Is there a way to adjust how the gallery interface deals with data display? Or is there another option within airtable I could look at that would enable me to customise more? I’m not very familiar with interf

I had Omni build a Form for users to collect new record information. It has two levels: Claims and Claim Details. I wanted it to allow a user to create a new “Claim” and the continue to add each new “Claim detail record” from this same form. It works in the regular interface, but as a form it only allows the user to select from existing “Claim Details.” Is there a setting for that field that I need to change in order to adds new detail records?

I'm using an AirTool node for this; however, I don't know how to access them through AirTool. According to Gemini, it should look something like this:Copy the IDs:The code that starts with app... I have a table that lists the openings and closing of homes. Each record is a specific date and an opening or closing. So there is single select field that has the choices Open or Closed. Each record has a date and the single select and a customer and the property along with a few other fields. Right now 27 records.I also have a summary table with a link to the open and close table. Each record is a customer’s open and close records in the link field. That table has 22 records.I want to filter for the latest opens so I can create a list to email through an automation so I get a l list every week what's currently open.Does anyone have a idea of how to do this?.Thanks. I’m trying to use the new ChatGPT integration with Airtable - specifically to have ChatGPT pull data from one of my bases in Airtable base . I’ve configured the settings in ChatGPT to connect to airtable, but Chat GPT is still asking me several times to confirm it has access to my base and other data points in Airtable. Is there a way to configure this to stop asking this question? It seems to be slowing it down. 

Can someone guide me on whether there is a way to nest views under major topics/departments? For example, our photo team might want to have different ‘Views’ they use, but I want to group all of their views under one department. Our ecomm team also has different views, but I want to nest them all under ecomm. I work with between multiple departments, so I want to see views grouped by department (photo, ecomm, production, retail, etc.). We are in the beginning phase of setting up airtable for our teams so we are still learning how this all functions. Thank you for your help!

I have a question about adjusting my base design to accommodate a new data requirement.I use my base to run our property management company. It consists of 4 main sections: Customer tables, Contract tables, Property tables and Invoice tables. When I created the base I did not think about the possibility of a customer selling one home and moving and retaining our services for the new home. Silly me. Our customers are owners of generational homes in a resort and as such they rarely sell.In the contracts table I have a field that captures the year we took them on as a customer of that property. That year is derived from the signature date of the contract for the current property. All fine and good until they move. Now we have an old customer with a new house and the years as customer is now only valid for the new property. I lose the history of their original contract. I need to have a way to keep the original year.I have thought about putting a field in the custom

Is it my impression or the latest version of the SDK removed support for defining a table as a custom parameter? My extension reads data from another table as support for that has been recently added. In order to avoid hardcoding things, I was allowing users to select a table. This was supported  (see link below). However, the latest version of the SDK does not seem to support that. (^0.0.0-experimental-e7419444f-20251120). I’ve updated my code so the parameter is now just a string. It seems to be working.
