Hi everyone,I’ve been managing our entire product catalog in Excel, but it’s getting short. I really need to have a better workflow, and I’m trying to figure out if Airtable is the right solution for my company or if I will hit a wall soon.I interact a lot with the products, change prices frequently, and need a highly visual and optimized system. Here is my specific scenario:The Data & Workflow:We manage around 3,000 to 4,000 products.I have a Master Products Table with historical data: UPC, Name, Brand, and Image Every single day, I receive 5 separate Excel files with updated prices and current availability. Each file belongs to a different customer tier (VIP, Wholesale, Distributor, etc.). If an item is not in the daily Excel, it means it's out of stock for the day.My ultimate goal is to use Airtable Interfaces (Gallery View) to show the active products with their respective prices, export them to PDF, and send them to clients.

I have an automation that aggregates all the line items for an invoice - see attached image… That works fine but I would like to have each item be on its own line. So somehow I need to be able to insert a break <br> presumably. Not willing to go to Make or Zapier for this. How can I do this?  

hi all, i am sure this should be easy and i cannot get it to work i have a products table {product id} and {product name}a menu table which pulls the product name using the product idand an orders table which lookups the product name from the menu i am then trying to concatenate in orders the product_name and qty into one string {products}&" ("&qty&")"{products} here is a lookup field i’m expecting Bread(1)but instead get 2(1) 2 is the product id i’ve tried formula, arrays and rollup function thank you

I’m looking for experts to build an all in one inventory management system with CRM capabilities. Each item in our stock is unique. The system needs to work in multiple currencies and track purchases, sales, partnerships in items, stock value, consignment etc. UK based but open to international developers/experts too. 

Dear Airtable Community, for a Project Gantt Plan I have differnt swimlanes that are grouped by Workstream Tags. The gantt view used to show the Tags in a column on the very left side of the table (directly next to the column of the different views). Now this column with the Grouped Workstreams disappeared and there is no option to show it again only when I change the Layout from Gantt to stacked. Please help

Hopefully a quick yes/no.I have several published datasets right now serving multiple bases all within one workspace.I’m about to split out our workspace into several for permissions control reasons. Will the dataset still be available to other workspaces (all under the same account), or is a dataset limited to just the one workspace it is created in?

Hi all - I’m fairly new to Airtable and hitting a roadblock… I have a form where people submit a list of activities they’ve participated in over a period of time. To avoid burdening the user with repeat submissions, I’ve set up my form/table with Activity 1, Activity 2, Activity 3, Activity 4, etc for all the different fields. However, I’d like to create a clean view where the data in all of those fields wraps up into one list of activities, as different records (i.e., if John Doe submits details for Activity 1, Activity 2, and Activity 3 all in one record, how can I get a list where John Doe has 3 records, one for each activity?).I’m struggling with how to make this happen. I tried nesting the records but it only works for 3 and I have 10 activity fields in my form. Does anyone have experience writing a script for an automation for something like this? I’ve never written a script and have no idea where to even start, so any guidance would be helpful!

Hi everyone,We're currently managing Microsoft 365 mailbox migration projects and using Airtable as a project tracking platform.The migration itself is performed using SysTools Office 365 migration software, which generates detailed CSV reports containing mailbox status, migrated item counts, failures, timestamps, and other statistics.What I'd like to do is automatically push those CSV reports into Airtable so customers can view migration progress in near real time through a dashboard or interface, rather than sending them updated spreadsheets manually.Has anyone built something similar?I'm considering a workflow where Airtable automatically imports the latest CSV data and updates customer-facing views. I had Omni create a custom interface for me. It went through all the steps, and according to omni it is done. But my interface page is still not loading after an hr. I tried this twice with the same resultsl

It would be so helpful to be able to duplicate a group of page elements in an interface page. You can already duplicate interface page elements (i.e. numbers, charts, etc.), but you can’t duplicate an entire group of elements at once. As of now, you have to individually duplicate each element in the group then click ••• → “Move to...” then select the group you want to move it to.

Why when I get just only 1 item in a search node with airtable and 1 item in update record the API calls is not only 2?

I know this functionality exists because it was something they were doing at my last job.I have  table that tracks applications and their status’ what I need is the method to turn that into a web form someone can to to our website to fill out so it populates into my table.How do I do this? 

I’m invoicing time records by project, by month. Each time record has a “Time Task” which comes from a linked lookup table. There’s some 42 time tasks and more may be added in the future. When creating a monthly invoice I want to summarize the hours for each task utilized by that monthly collection of time records for each project invoiced.e.g.5/1/2026 2.0 hours Preparation5/19/2026 1.3 hours Preparation5/21/2026 1.0 hours Preparation*Total Preparation 4.3 hours 5/8/2026 1.5 hours Development5/8/2026 5.8 hours Development*Total Development 7.3 hours I only want to show the * totals, not the actual individual time records.Ideally these totals would simply go into a separate table linked to the invoice.I really don’t want to use a third party tool like Make or Zapier. How can I go about doing that?

Hi all. I have an automation that creates a doc in Google Docs as one of its steps. It’s triggered by a button press in an interface. We run it 20-30 times a day. 90% of the time, no problem. However, 5-10% of the time it randomly fails to create the doc with a very nonspecific error: When we re-run it with the same data and so on, it runs successfully.The workaround is simply pressing the button again, which is fine, but I’d still like to know what is going wrong. Is there any way to see more information on this error? Or, has anyone else encountered a similar issue?-Natalka

I try to avoid  having to build and maintain our own RAG pipeline when uploading our PDF content. So, if we use AWS service like Bedrock Knowledge Base, can we use integrate Vector DB within AirTable? PDF in AWS S3↓Bedrock Knowledge Base↓AirTable Db Vectors

Why is it not possible to view all of the “Pages” in a base? On an interface view we can create and view all the main pages, but in order to create specific record detail layouts we need to drill down through any and all pages to get to the record detail layout we want to edit. Then we can save a copy and rename and edit, but it would be so much easier to be able to open a “Library” of pages and layouts related to our database so we can easily and quickly view, edit, and copy these.I have to write down and keep track of which page layout I have for different views so I don’t forget where it is and how to get to it.

Edit after ~1h of investigation: it turns out these are rate limits that are the culprit. Which raises a new question: if I change the email address in the automation, will it impact the runs that are currently in progress? My guess is no. And so, if no, is there any way to trigger a re-run of the currently stuck runs?  I several automations running that involve sending emails. They have both run over 6k times until yesterday around 8pm many runs are stuck in “pending”. There are several things puzzling about it:There isn’t a clear cut off when the automations started getting stuck. Unbenownst to us and without warning, we ran into our Business tier automation limits. We run a mission-critical medical company. Is there any way to escalate this internally at Airtable? I have already submitted support tickets and contact forms. Ticket # 01168252. My business is literally stopped right now due to this and the repair process will be significant, and we didn’t have any warning whatsoever.

Hey. Thank you in advance or your help on connecting data between two tables. Linked records does not seem to apply here, but maybe I’m missing something. I am using Airtable to track disciplinary data for a school. We have two tables, one to track Pink Slips, and a second to track historical Disciplinary Cases. The first table “Pink Slips”, is where new pink slips are entered, using a primary field of a sequential ID assigned by Airtable for each new pink slip. One of the fields in this table is “Student ID”. The second table, “Cases” contains a historical record of all disciplinary cases (some resulting from pink slips), akin to a court case, with all data related to the resulting actions, dates, etc… The primary field in this table is “CaseID”. All of the data in the “Cases” table is imported from a school database, and also contains a “StudentID” field. For reasons that i would rather not get into, the two tables cannot be merged into one.
