Hi. Hope someone could help. I’ve automated a create tasks from a task template and it worked. Now how do i automated creating subtasks. I have subtask template table as well. That’s where I’m stuck on. Thanks!

My employer requires a strict technical control to ensure that employees can only check in from their authorized workstation. The idea is to automatically capture the user’s public IP address at the time of check-in and compare it against a whitelist of IP addresses stored in Airtable.The key constraint is that the solution must remain 100% Airtable-based: forms, automations, scripting, with no external front-end, middleware, or proxy server (e.g. Netlify, Vercel, etc.).However, in our tests, Airtable scripts always return the IP address of Airtable’s servers (AWS), not the end user’s IP. We would like to know if there is any native Airtable method or internal configuration that would allow us to capture the real client IP address directly within Airtable.

I have a base that I’ve published as a library, let’s call it Part Numbers. It only has two fields - a Part Number and a description. I have 2 or 3 other bases that are pulling in this library as a table, and they’re linking records to it.I now need to make some updates to the Part Numbers base - some individual #s may be deleted, or descriptions might be changed, etc. If I upload a new CSV to the main library base and overwrite everything that’s there, but many of the #s never change at all, will the linked records in other bases stay linked?

Hello. Am developing an app using Flutter. Would like to find if I can use Airtable as my database. Is there an API that I can use to integrate Airtable with Flutter? Will need to be able to do all CRUD operations. If so, is there any documentation that I can refer to? Thank you!

I’m looking to backup all the data in my base and I saw you can do it by automation but I’m not sure how. I don’t see download files as an action, would it need to be done as a script? Ideally I would like this to download into SharePoint but if it downloads locally and I have to upload manually to SharePoint that is fine.

Hi guys, I am new to this… I am trying to sync my Shopify orders to airtable. If customer order 2 times, how can I separate the 2 items to 2 records instead of all jam in one? We used to manage it on GoogleSheet with zapier, and they have a function of creating multiple lines, how I can do that in airtable? Thanks xoxo

I am new to Airtable. We set up an images table. When I synced products from Airtable to our Shopify webshop some images ended up one line lower in the table, and thus images end up with the wrong products. When I “repaired” the images in the Airtable images table, and synced A>S nevertheless images skipped out of their row to another product and deleted images were still resident in the products table. How should I properly sync products + their images A>S ?

Hello Airtable Community, I have experienced recently a misunderstanding with an automation of Airtable. I have a Plus Plan but the number automations free are 0, It says I have done 50.000 automatizations and now I cannot try my app anymore. I don’t need even 50.000 automatizations by now but It has been a misunderstanding of an automation of “When record updates” in the Collections base. This Collections Base is linked with the products (that are 1.000) and this products are sync with Shopify AirPower API that sync the changes every time. So the solution, i think, is to do not watch this records in the automatization… but I did not noticed earlier… Is there any solution on this type of situations? I am a developer and I need to keep working with the automatizations to develop an web for my client, even upgrading to Pro Plan will stop the work for this month as I have achieved 50.000 automatizations… What could I do? Hi, I am pretty new to this and not a developer. We are using Airtable for our product database for our Shopify store, and have Airpower as the sync between them. This works pretty good, but there is one major thing we need that Airpower does not support.We need the number of "committed" inventory of the products to sync from Shopify into Airtable in real-time. Right now, the Airpower Inventory sync only brings the "available" number through, but both are required for us, and we need the data to by syncing constantly so it's up to date.Is this something we could use a webhook for? Or is there a simpler process?

Hi Community, I have created a form, with a number of single select fields. When you got to enter, a blank field appear above the single select options - you can click on this, but it is not showing in the field in the back end. There are two options there, but the user end you can select a third non-existent option?The single selects are required fields, and the form has existed for a while without these glitches. Any tips welcome - though FYI, scripting (which the Airtbale bot told me to do) is a bit beyond my capabilitiesThanks 

Hi Airtable builders!Thanks to SyncBase (my Airtable - Shopify integration), you can now create new Shopify Products and Variants directly from Airtable. How does it work?Once you installed the app (can be found on the Shopify App Store), select “Products & Variants” as data you want to sync.  The app will create for you new synced-tabs into a new base (or an existing one if you’d prefer). In the Products tab you will be able to create new records (blank or with already prefilled data). Each new record creation will trigger a product creation in Shopify (draft status, no stress :D). => And of course, you will then be able to edit all this Product data from Airtable too.  Happy to get your feedback and to help if needed :)

Here’s the scenario: I have a long text field (called ‘Email Draft with Placeholder’), and a formula field (called ‘Email Draft’) where I’m replacing a few placeholder key using REGEXREPLACE.I’m then displaying ‘Email Draft’ in a Record Review in the Interface. Here, it displays as expected, maintaining the new line breaks.If you copy that text (by dragging across it and CMD+C), and paste it into a Gmail new email, it all still looks good.But if I send the email, and look at what was sent, all the new lines are gone! 😱I’d be really grateful if anyone could explain what’s going on here, and how I can fix it!

I have an airtable base that contains data from a dozen sources and lots of duplicates. The duplicates are easy to define based on phone number. With dedupe currently you have to look at each individual cluster of duplicates and select what you want to keep. That's fine for some scenarios but that should not be the only option. It would take hours for me to look at each cluster.There should be a easy way to:1- Select the fields where duplicates exist.2- Select which record to keep (most completed fields, newest, oldest, etc).3- Run it and be done.I really don't want to have to export to excel and re-import because airtable can't handle such a simple function.

Hi there, I’m trying to put together an expenses claim form for my team including mileage claims. We previously uses Google API Distance Matrix on JotForm to calculate the distance an employee travels between two locations. I wondered whether there was a way I could add something like this to an Airtable form? The distance that came out between the two locations then calculated how much that employee is owed for the petrol used. Any advice would be appreciated.

I need to generate the documentation of an Airtable database and I was able to use the script below, but it would be much more useful and efficient if the output were in an Airtable table (which I could easily update daily or weekly thanks to an automation).
