Each task is stored as a record in a table, with fields such as: Assigned employee Task status Hours spent Cost Performance-related information Other operational details What I would like to achieve is the following: Each employee should have access only to their own tasks and related information Employees should be able to view their task details and performance metrics through a simple personalized page/interface The solution needs to scale for 500+ employees My initial idea was: Create an Interface page for each employee Filter the page by employee name

Hi everyone,I’m using a Kanban element in Airtable Interface Designer, stacked by a Single Select field.The issue is that an extra stack called “Uncategorized” keeps appearing, even though: “Uncategorized” is not an option in my Single Select field One of the Single Select options is already set as the default I checked the records and found no records where this Single Select field is emptyI also found an old community thread from around 9 years ago discussing a similar issue: [HERE]From what I understand, the suggested workaround was to collapse the stack, but I couldn’t find a clear solution to fully hide or remove it. Hi everyone, I’m building a Morse Code website that converts text into Morse code and stores user submissions in Airtable through the Airtable API. The website is connected using JavaScript fetch requests and a Personal Access Token. The issue I’m facing is that records are sometimes created successfully, but updates to existing records either fail silently or create duplicate entries instead of updating the original row.My current workflow is: first I send a GET request using filterByFormula to check whether a record already exists, then I either PATCH the existing record or POST a new one. Im trying to use airtable record search in Make . . .I have a field called PostID. I want to search it for a number. I Cant find anywhere how a simple airtable syntax works for this  .. is it {PostID}=”123456” or do i put search or someting in front of it? 

Hello, I am trying to use the CSV import extension to create records.  These records have a linked field to another record.  I am trying to populate the linked field via the CSV file, but I cannot seem to make it work.  I am attempting to create new records, not “merge” records.  Two immediate issues:On the mapping preview, the linked field does not appear in the record creation preview, even when the toggle is on. If I could get it to appear, I am not sure what info Airtable wants me to upload to successfully link the record. I tried the RecordID (pulled from the URL per Airtable’s guide) but that didn’t work.There has to be a way to populate linked record fields via a CSV upload?  Can someone help!  Thanks!!Alex

Hi, this is the first time I experience this issue first hand, but out of the sudden all attachment added using a Google drive link via API to my Airtable record gets removed inmediately after being added. It was working alright , but it suddenly stopped working.  I know this is a well known bug in Airtable but could not find any updates. Files are sep with with open sharing and download rights in Google Drive, I an sending the export link in PDF to airtable and it was working currently until it stoppedworking 

I've created a calendar table synced to GCAL and wish to populate a calendar view with the events based on the Event Start and when Event Start is not available based on Event Created. I've struggled to achieve this (I welcome any other possible solutions) so I attempted to create a formula field with the following formula: “IF({Event Start}, {Event Start}, {Event Created})”.  As generated by the ai agent. Somehow that formula changes both Event Start and Event Created data. I've also tried the following formula: DATETIME_PARSE(IF({Event Start} = BLANK(), {Event Created}, {Event Start}))To the same effect. Screenshot attached to quell my possibly insufficient description. Questions.Why is the data changing when the formula is only requesting to display the data? Are my assumptions about the formula only asking to display data correct?

Hello,The question is fairly simple.I have an Interface page with a button that updates a field called “X” (basically an on/off checkbox). However, I would also like to record which user triggered the button and when it was triggered.Updating the checkbox itself is immediate using a button with the “Update record” action.My questions are: Is there any way to also capture the portal user’s email, ID, or any other unique identifier into another field (let’s call it “Action X triggered by user”) using the same “Update record” button action, or would I need to trigger an automation and run a script? Same question for storing the timestamp when the button is clicked. I see there have been a handful of posts pertaining to e-signatures in AT forms, but I decided to add another one since the most recent seems to be from 2021 and we know how fast things change in this space. My specific use case revolves around credit card authorization forms. As we rebuild our company website, one request from the CEO is to add an embedded form to our site. As it stands we use Adobe to create an editable PDF however I don’t currently have access to our login to explore what a logged-in admin sees when receiving a completed form. Currently we send the editable PDF form to clients via email. Most clients…it’s an old school industry, then print it, fill it out, scan it, then email it back. We then scan and file the hardcopy away. In my mind the ideal flow would be to embed on our site, allow user to fill it out with esign, and have submissions stored in a table somewhere (either adobe or AT) Any advice is appreciated.

Now, I am working with multiple linked tables and complex automations in Airtable for project tracking and reporting. As the database grows, performance becomes slower and some automations fail unexpectedly. If you have been using Omni to build interfaces which I love, I’m curious if anyone else has had this problem:Whenever I want to use a field that is a linked field (a person record from another table for example), this never displays on an Omni-built interface. I always have to build a formula field that copies the content (essentially to plain text) and use that field in my interface for it to work properly.Anyone else finding this?

Hello, community. I’ve already submitted my request via the Airtable form, but I wanted to ask if any of you would find this useful as well? Maybe some feedback on this would help draw attention to it. I think it would be great if we could save and select presets of an interface’s settings. For example, I want to see a specific type of task here that I need from time to time. Having a saved setting for this would be great. What do you think?

I am utilizing the reminder feature in Airtable for the first time. I’ve created a few “test” CRM’s to see how the feature would work for me. Out of 5 “test” CRM’s, only 1 gave me the info I needed. I have attached a picture of what I want vs. what I’m getting. Any idea why one would work and the others do not?  

Using an automation to assign a part number to any part who does not have a part number. Since this database is needing to retroactively run this script one at a time due it is nature of how it assigns part numbers. The best way to do this is to have the script run once, then identify the next record this script needs to run on (next record without a part number) and run again.However as it stands, the second automation run will not happen even when the conditions of the second record are changes to meet the conditions of the automation.Is this a known bug/limitation of airtable automations?

Every time I expand a record, the activity feed panel resets to its system default view of “Comments only” instead of remembering my last selection or having an option to change the default per user. For teams that rely heavily on tracking changes, this means manually switching to "All Activity" or "Revision History" on every single record open - which adds up fast.A simple "remember my last selection" or a setting under personal preferences would go a long way.Would love to see this added. It seems like a small lift with a solid quality-of-life payoff. Anyone else finding this frustrating?Has anyone found a workaround in the meantime? And would others find this useful? If so, please upvote. Happy to submit this as formal feedback to Airtable if there's interest.

I have two tables:InvoicesTime Invoices has a project, start date and end date.Time has a project, start date and hours. I’m trying to find all the time records between the Invoice start and end dates for a project and assign them to the invoice. But when I try to find the time AT only allows static choices, not dynamic. How can I make this work?

Any plans to allow the admins to adjust the user data fields similar to how the bases are configured with the ability to select and hide/delete fields we want to see by users depending on the use case? Or use a field selection similar to Service Now’s field selection? Currently what I see on the Admin panel is very limited and I don’t see the ability to adjust (add or delete)

The recent mobile update killed my dashboard. I use an iPhone 17 Pro running iOS 26.5.   My dashboard looks right, but I no longer can drill down into the underlying data in the tiles.  It works perfectly on my laptop just not the mobile.   when I click on the tile I just get an empty box instead of the data on my phone.  I put in a support ticket but I need to be able to access this on my phone as I'm in the middle of finalizing sales.  Was just getting ready to upgrade to paid account then this happened.  They said since it still works on my laptop that it isn't the free vs paid account issue.  anyone else having problems?
