I’ve imported several tables into AT. They each had a day field (no time element). I just noticed all the dates are +1 day from what they should be. How is this even possible?More importantly, how do I fix it?

In the United States, an invoice is very different from what the government of Mexico asks for. If the invoice issued in Mexico by Airtable does not have the requirements that that government (SAT) asks for, the expenses in Airtable are not deductible and therefore are much more expensive for all that business that is paying taxes and that is operating within of the law. How can I get an invoice from Airtable with the requirements of the Mexico SAT so that I can deduct the costs of my ads? Invoices issued by Airtable do not meet these requirements. For example, the document must have the RFC (TAX ID) of the issuer and also the RFC of the recipient, and the folio.

Somewhat recently, Airtable updated self-linked record fields so they automatically create a second field on the same table showing the inverse relationship — same as how linking between two different tables has always created a field on both sides.I have a few tables with self-links that I set up before that change, and they're still one-way. Is there a way to add the inverse field to an existing self-link without deleting and recreating it? 

Hi guys,I’m building a CRM within Airtable and need to create a two-way sync between Airtable and Google Calendar so if an event is created/updated/deleted in one, it automatically updates in the other. This is the current setup I have: A separate ‘Meetings’ table for events created within Airtable and a separate table that’s integrated with the Google Calendar (on the interface, it will all just be one calendar). I am trying to create an “Update Record” automation so if an event is updated in Airtable, it updates in Google Calendar but I’m running into some issues and with the vice-versa automation.The trigger runs successfully but the action always fails:

I’m working on a proof of concept for a product we’re releasing.  The idea is a pretty landing page that potential, existing students can sign up for a session or two.  We also want the data to be gathered and reported within AT, hence shying away from the Zoom + landing page.  Anyone setup any “cool” Airtable portals.  Would love to experiment, again for proof of concept.

We’re using Airtable to review pdf documents, and the thumbnail on the interface page is just 5-10% too small for our users to do their job. They need to be able to look at the document and enter information on the same page, and clicking on the attachment field to get a better look takes the user away from the fields the need to access.Setting the appearance to “hero” in the settings and fitting the image to size makes it slightly too small to be useable. Unchecking “fit image size” degrades the quality to slightly too fuzzy to be comfortable to read.Noloco’s interface solves this particular problem easily, because they place the preview window directly in the interface, but we want to go back to Airtable’s native interface for a lot of other reasons.Does anyone have an idea of how to solve this, or can we request a slightly larger zoom on a pdf fit to size, or better quality preview resolution?

I'm glad you can share an individual page in an interface. It's a decent improvement but still not the best solution. Now, if you could public share a full interface or at least the overview page, it would be such a much needed game-changer.Being able to share the Overview page of an interface with a nice cover image would be so helpful when sharing with a client or customer. It looks professional, well organized and nicely structured. Perfect if you want to share only the information without providing full access.Notion (overrated IMO) allows this (sharing of a workspace) where you can organize it and make it look professional. Currently in Airtable, when I end up haveing to share multiple URLs for different pages, clients get very overwhelmed. Being able to publicly share an interface would be incredible.

Hey Airtable Community!First time community user so please be kind! I work for an Event Production company, we are beginning to explore the possibility on switching to airtable.  We currently use an Edoc software called Pandadocs for our proposal writing.I am trying to figure out the possibility of when Documet completed → Airtable duplicates a prebuilt base and then takes the pricing table information in the doc and pushes it into each table accordingly.I will admit there is still a lot of details still up in the air, such as what is a table and what is a view? But I am focused on how mechanically I can make that kind of automation and what guardrails I should look out for? 

Is this possible? I have multiple views which I use, but not all information needs to be displayed when I add a record through a linked record. Right now, it seems whatever view is at the top of the list in a table is the one that shows up when a linked record is used.

There is a BASE / Table / bunch of fields.There is web app using API, which neatly makes a form for users to change their details, not just create as Airtable native forms.Everything works perfectly, until team member changes the field name.I know you can use serial name “fld123ABC456”, but it involves creating another object to hold pairs of serial names and human readable name. Code is also much cleaner with field names. rawContacts[xyz].fields[“Some Field Name”] reads much better than rawContacts[xyz].fields.fld123ABC456Question: is there a native way to find who and when made a field name change.Also how the change was made old name → new name and old type → new type I have been asking Airtable, as enterprise user for years now, to implement admin layer on field definitions, so that very few people can make these devastating changes. In the meantime, is there a log of these changes natively?Or does it

I’ve been building a workflow that connects Airtable to a CMS so blog content can move from planning to publishing with less manual work.The setup usually includes title, slug, content, images, publish date, and status fields, plus a draft/review/publish flow.I’m curious how others here manage content operations: do you keep Airtable as the source of truth, or do you use it only for planning?Happy to share the structure I use if anyone is trying to reduce manual blog publishing work.

I’m trying to figure out how I can have the order of the columns tied to the order of the fields in the data panel the same way it works in the native AT tables. Anyone know? Thank you.

Hey all, figured I’d ask this question and see if anyone has advice/experience, plus it’s been awhile since an Outlook integration thread in case of application changes…So I’ve got an active automation setup integrated with an Outlook calendar wherein people submit tickets and dates, and when a date is created an automation fires to create an Outlook event, with the Outlook ID written into the record for reference. Then when certain conditions are met, another automation fires to update the Outlook Calendar event by referencing the ID. For the most part (like 97% of the time) this works fine, but I’m having a devil of a time on that last 3%. Some of this is accountable to people using the data layer and fulfilling update conditions at creation, those are able to be rectified. I have created a “Release Planner” base in Airtable for coordinating all the steps we have to complete for a software release. I created one table called ‘Template”, and I copy that template to a new table for each release.Now, I want to set up automations to notify me and the assigned to person daily while any task is open, across all tables. I seem only to have been able to set it up on one, but then it doesn’t copy over when I copy the template to a new table. And I can’t seem to set it up the right way every time, plus it’s time consuming. Does anyone have a hack for creating a base-wide notification? Or a way to copy automations across tables?Happy to do scripting, but I would need detailed instructions, as I haven’t done that in Airtable before.Thank you!

Hi all, I am running into a challenge again related to automations and multiple select fields. I have a table where locations are input as “city, province” (I live in Canada). For example, “Toronto, ON”. When a record is approved, an automation kicks in and has to populate the location field in another table. The problem is that when I assign the location field in the 2nd table as a multiple select, the automation splits the city and province (“Toronto”, “ON”). I tried making the location field in the 2nd table as a single line text but still the problem exists. I have spent so much time trying to figure this out but am unable to. Is there a way around it? Thanks so much.I am attaching screenshots showing how the location is populated in both tables.

I sometimes wonder why I still pay airtable money. For an application that claims to be good for time planning it’s mad it still doesn’t seem to be able to do time and date maths properly. I am in UK (so GMT/BST) - I want to have a date field and a separate time field, and to be able to combine these two into a calculated dateTimenothing I have tried seems to work reliably for this without jumping the date back to UTC Has anyone found a solution for what should be a trivial task?Thanks Richard

Hi Airtable Community, I’ve got a sandbox running on one of my networked Airtable bases as I work on configuration to connect it to another platform, but I keep getting an error message when I try to apply changes made in the Sandbox to Production:  It’s the same error every time. I have creator permissions in both environments, as do the accounts of our external vendor working on the integration. I emailed Support, and was greatly disappointed to get an AI bot response. I’m hoping some real human beings can help me out.

Has anyone managed to get their Extension updated or get an answer from support regarding their extension in the marketplace? I submitted 2 months ago, no answer, multiple support tickets same thing. What is happening?

Good Morning, I am working on building a table where my daily sales data is entered, and that data point from this year can be compared to the same day of the week from the previous year. I am not a professional developer, so forgive me if my knowledge is at the beginner level. Currently, all of the data is populating correctly, but I have to manually enter in the SelfLink value. I have tried to create an automation for when a new record is created, however have been unsuccessful so far. Here is a screenshot of how the relevant points from the table are set up. My question is, do I need an automation, or is there a lookup field that I could enter into get the selflink field to automatically reference the corresponding day from the calendar week number of the previous year?Any direction on h

I am on the free plan only.I am the only person with access. I tried to add four other people with editor status. Although the dialog says I can have up to 5 collaborators (including me), the Share invite box will let me add only 2 of the 4?

In the interface I have a list with two linked levels. Level 2 (parent) only has a handful of records. One of the records in Level 2 has over 4000 Level1 (child) records. When I open that parent record to vie the child records it is extremely slow and the slowness makes the application largely non responsive - until I move to a different parent record or some other table in the interface.  If I simply open another list in the interface with only the one child table, all 4500 records open pretty much instantly. What's the best way to handle this?
